OOC: Before posting in this thread, you must first have been called back by Healer Murdoch. To be seen by the Healer, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first, then in the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors.

Upon entering the Hospital Ward and Healing Area, you'll come upon a long hallway that eventually forks into two different directions. You'll want to proceed to the right, the direction that will take you to the Healing Areas. Healer Murdoch will be waiting for you. It is in the Healing Area that you'll receive the medical attention that will hopefully heal you right away and send you back to classes and your everyday life.

If, however, you aren't able to be healed right away and your character is in a rather serious condition, you will be escorted to the Observation Ward, where you will receive further medical attention.

OOC: Once your character is seen and tended to, Healer Murdoch will deem them "well" and able to return to classes/everyday life. If your character continues to suffer from repeat conditions, it's likely that he or she will be admitted into the Room for Quarantined Patients. If this happens, you will be temporarily placed in the "Quarantined" user group, and your posting in the school will be temporarily limited to the "Quarantined" thread only.

I will lock these threads once a session is finished. When a new session, and a new student is assigned to the room, the thread will be reopened.

It was such a relief when the Healer showed up because Lux's nose and ribs really hurt - especially her nose. "Hello, Healer Murdoch." Her speech still messed up due to her nose, she left it at that but nodded when they were told to head over to Room 1.

Slowly she got up, wincing from the pain in her ribs and made her way to the healing room. Obviously an explaination of what happened would be needed.

Damien stood as the Healer walked in, biting his lips and nodding to the blonde woman; "Hello, Healer Murdoch,"Damien said, echoing Lux's greeting, his usual wit dimmed, it was hardtop be anything when all he could think about was the pain in his arm.

He followed behind Lux, his eyes on the ground, looking every bit as guilty as he felt. "Um... " Where did he even start? Was he even supposed to start? Damien had no idea, he was still new to this school and didn't know the conduct for hospital visit...

So he didn't say another word, just waited on the Healer.

The1HBIC 01-30-2015 11:09 AM

"Both of you sit," Healer Murdoch said as she pointed to the chairs in the room. Neither of them would be getting on the bed until she found out what had happened here.

Crossing her arms in front of her, she looked at Lux. "You start. What exactly was it you were doing to land you here?" She then looked over at the boy. Sure didn't take Lux long to move on to another lion did it.

WhittyBitty 01-30-2015 11:18 AM

Lux did not need to be told twice to sit down, and it definitely helped her feel a little better to do so since standing wasn't very nice at the moment.

The Healer wanted her to go first which wasn't a surprise since she seemed to have the worst injuries between the two. "Well, I was reading under the big tree by the lake when suddenly my friend, Dylan fell out of said tree and landed on top of me."

See, she had even referred to him as her friend so he would know she wasn't mad at him.

nicole black 01-31-2015 04:24 AM

Damien listened as Lux began to explain it all, he was actually so of glad that the Healer had let her go first, as the boy wasn't sure what to say. It had purely been an accident for sure, but he was still anxious abut it and was never very good at explaining when he was hurt.

She'd called him her friend, well, at least that helped ease the guilt a bit, but not by much. He nodded. "That's exactly what happened Professor... I was.. Sleeping sort of in the tree and I mus thave lost my sitting position and, you know- the fall happened." Damien sheepishly explained.

The1HBIC 02-02-2015 08:01 PM

Healer Murdoch listened as both students gave their story of what happened. "So let me see if I have this straight. You," she said looking at Damien, "decided a tree was the proper place to take a nap, and in doing so you ended up falling out of the tree and injuring an innocent girl." As well as himself. "And now here you are, wanting me to fix you up because of a stupid accident that could have been prevented had you chose to nap in a place actually meant for napping, not a place meant for birds."

"And you," she said now looking at Lux, "are still willing to call this boy a friend, even after he was so careless in his actions that you are now sitting there with broken body parts." Such a Hufflepuff.

WhittyBitty 02-02-2015 08:53 PM

Listening to Damien fill in his piece of the story, Lux would have nodded if her nose didn't hurt so much.

The Healer was being kind of mean to her friend, but Lux knew the Lion would be able to deal with lectures. Now if it was Bay, she would have had something to say for sure since she didn't tolerate people being mean to him, but Healer Murdoch seemed to like Bay.

As to the question of him still being her friend, the answer was yes. "Yes. I'm sure he learned from his mistake. Right, Damien?" This was a lesson to not sleep in trees.

nicole black 02-05-2015 11:06 PM

okay, okay, okay. Back up Healer Murdoch. Sure, yeah he had fallen asleep in a tree and maybe that wasn't the brightest of all the ideas he'd ever had, but she didn't need to be all snappy at him over a stupid accident, not to mention trying to influence Lux into dropping his friendship, which was just plain rude. "Well, yes. That's your job isn't it? patching up students?" Damien calmly asked, but his blue eyes no longer held the I'm-so-sorry-don't-hate-me-look they had earlier, and his shoulders, which had been slumped, were now rolled back.

Was she going to deny his injury because he'd made a mistake? Was that allowed? Damien would be furious, beyond furious if she did. "I am sorry, very sorry that I hurt her, but i didn't mean to, I would never intentionally- she's- I didn't mean it." He added, with frustrated huff. Could she just heal them now? His arm was killing him.

He'd make it up to Lux as soon as they were all settled, somehow.

The1HBIC 02-08-2015 04:45 AM

Cece just rolled her eyes at Lux. "If that's what you believe, then I believe you are a fool." She took out her wand and pointed it at the girl's nose. "Episkey. There, you are healed. You can leave now." Healer Murdoch was done looking at this girl and there was no reason she needed to stay now that she was healed.

And was this boy really giving her attitude? "Five points from Gryffindor!" Getting snippy with her was not a way to get yourself healed boy. "No where in my job description does it state that I HAVE to patch up stupid students who do stupid things to get themselves hurt. I could just as easily send you to St. Mungos and let them fix you up." And trust her, she WOULD do it. Just to get rid of the brat. "Now are you done giving me attitude or would you prefer I send you away?"

And did he really think she was buying that lame apology? Not even close. "You can apologize all you want, but it still doesn't change the fact that YOU caused another student to get hurt, not to mention yourself." She stood there not making any attempt at fixing this kid's broken arm. He could just suffer a little longer for all she cared. This was NOT a medical emergency.

WhittyBitty 02-08-2015 05:42 AM

A fool? Really? Well, Healer Murdoch was wrong about that the same way as she was wrong about her boyfriend being too old for her.

Suddenly her nose was healed and Lux touched it gently, relieved that the pain there was gone. Of course there were still her ribs... "Thank you for fixing my nose, but my ribs hurt too."

nicole black 02-10-2015 11:20 PM

Damien was incensed. This woman, who seemed to have absolutely zero bedside manner, was actually standing before him and had not only taken off points from him, called him stupid, and threatened to not just not heal him, but also threatened to send him off to St. Mungos and on top of all this she had called Lux a fool. What the damn hell? Lux had done nothing, absolutely nothing but being fallen on by his stupid, lanky self.

He had half a mind to storm out of the Healer’s office, broken arm and all and see the Headmistress or Professor Airey about this total injustice. But, the other half, the sensible half was telling him that getting sent to St. Mungos and getting into trouble was the last thing he wanted; because if he was banished from school, who would watch out for Rorie, or plot with Puck to undermine authority or help Zander with his abysmal confidence? No one. “I’ll… I’ll shut up, ma’am.” Damien said, his posture speaking of his defeat as he once again slumped, cradling his throbbing, pain filled arm.

What hurt more? His Pride or His Arm? Damien wasn’t entirely sure as the Healer ripped into his apology and he knew he couldn’t say anything, but just had to take it. He nodded calmly, not about to apologize again, not in her presence, this was between himself and Lux anyway.

“Would you, please, heal my arm Healer Murdoch?” Damien asked with as much quiet, non-hostile politeness as he could muster.

Yep, it was definitely His Pride.

Damn, he'd hurt her ribs too? Damien couldn't believe he'd damaged the red head so severely, he felt even worst and had it not been for the anger circulating in his veins he would have sunk right down into the floor and stopped existing. "Sorry, sorry." He mumbled in an undertone to Lux, unable to do anything else.
