Ravenclaw Table The Ravenclaw table probably looks about the same as you remember it being, with its polished wood and the blue and bronze banner hanging proudly overhead. The table has also been charmed for this reunion to conjure up name tags for everyone who sits here (so you won't have to pretend to remember someone's name if you forgot!). So come on over, bring your food from the buffet here to eat or simply mingle and reminisce with other fellow graduates. And, of course, have fun! |
It really ruins the fun when there is stuff already on the table. Starfishing fun, of course. After the eating it was the only thing left to make this reunion perfect. And another thing. Why could they fill their own name tags up. Nigel would be as immature as possible. Of course. Maybe put The Guy with The Hair. It was a classic. Nigel sat down at the seat with his awesome name and helped himself to some of the awesome food he got at the buffet. Though was he ready for all those awkward questions like at family reunions. What have you been doing and what are your plans. How is the girlfriend. All those. Though that all depends if people he knows show up. Maybe he should starfish on the table for entertainment or making some pickle cereal. |
hi Nigel ;) / also everyone anyone hi! Oh. Merlin. Louisa stood at the double doors staring inside the grand hall with the four tables, the dais that was now not a professors' territory. Oh. Dear. Merlin. She was hit with a pang of memories, good and bad, but mostly her last terrible memory here on the Ravenclaw table during the last feast with Max and Vivi and Vickers. It was terrible, she was crushed at the time and the memory sadly stuck. She smiled widely, forcing it but she was sure if she smiled long enough the bloody memory would go away. Maybe focus on something unfamiliar, why did she even come today? Ugh, she didn't expect this feelings thing to happen, such inconvenience. If Treyen would just teach her how to extract memories and relieve her. Oh, look, a person she didn't know! Louisa quickly took a seat next to the young man with the name of *squint* Nigel Barrington, and had her nametag write her name, too. His name was familiar but his face |
you two! How long had it been since she was last here? Eight years, although it felt like much more than that. That was even more than the years her twins had left until they could start coming here too. Oh yes, now she felt really old. The Great Hall certainly didn't seem to have changed much since she was here though, aside from the fact that it was set up for a reunion and not simply a feast. It was comforting to know it hadn't really changed though. What was also comforting was to see at least a few familiar faces, like Louisa's. The other young man was completely unfamiliar to her though unfortunately. "Hey Louisa," she said with a warm smile, slipping into the empty spot beside her friend. "And hello to you too," she added, turning her attention and smile to him as well. Nigel Barrington was apparently his name, according to the name tag on the table, though it still didn't ring any bells. He must have come to Hogwarts after she'd already graduated. |
You Twoo It was definitely the his hair. Yep, it was the only reason he was getting attention right now. Though the girl..lady who just showed up at the table looked a little familiar. Though it must have been from a while ago. Since he can't remember. Though he could barely remember all the Professors he had. So it is not saying much. Oh that is funny. Being as tall as Nigel is anyway. Even when he was in school. The benches were always small. That is way he ate in the common room. Though he had other reasons for that too. Nigel smiled and said. "Hey. They do it on purpose. Making them smaller, the older we get. By now, I am stuck just sitting down." Well this is one thing about reunions. Especially when it is not your own classes reunion. Plenty of people you don't know. Like this lady for example. Maybe he should have sat in someone else's spot. Someone he knew so it would be funny. And wait her name was Louisa. Nigel did remember something about a Head Girl named Louisa from Ravenclaw. Uh. "And Hello to You. Welcome to the Table of Fun" It really wasn't....yet. |
For Ern... and anyone who wants to say hi Cela was SO EXCITED there weren't even words for her excitement. Hogwarts was STILL one of her favourite places even though people she knew almost died and there had been werewolves and duels and unforgivable curses... who cared right? It was STILL magical and she'd met all her favourite people and ------ZOMG LOOK THERE WAS THE RAVENCLAW TABLE! "Copey looook! Its beautiful!" All the blue and the bronze, ooooooh! "Its too bad we can't sneak away to the library don't you think? And the common room. And our tree." Or maybe they could. They were Ravenclaws Cela couldn't WAIT for her own darling children to all be in Ravenclaw too! Because they totally would be, right? All three of them All decked out in an eye catching gold cocktail dress that looked like it was possibly worth about as much money as the entire event had cost to put on, Celandine Kettleburn was sparkling about as much as her dress did. She tugged on her husband's arm until they were exactly at the part of the table they used to sit at back in their school days. "Ooooh name tags!" But would it show her current name or her maiden name? The former Miss Toussaint, leaned forward inquisitively and gave it a poke. Sure enough the tag helpfully changed to show both names, and even had a little addendum on the bottom with her years of attendance (2065-2072) and that she had been prefect and Head Girl. Totally useful, but everyone would recognize her, right? |
For Spike and anyone else! Addy had been pretty excited about this whole reunion thing... until she had thrown up on the way to the school. BAH. But she was rallying and positively glowing! Or at least Spike had said so and he didn't typically lie to her... so she was going with it. Heh. Wow... here she was a HUTCHINSON and like... married... with a kid and one on the way. Trippy! Not many years ago had she left here a Kennedy and now she returned with her hunky husband. WIN. But part of her was sad today. Sad that her cousin wasn't here to join them and see all of her friends. Not that she was going to introduce herself to Lexi's friends and tell them who she was. Nope. She was just going to sulk on her own over this one. Yep. Squeezing Spike's hand she smiled up at him. "Wanna make name tags that say Mr. and Mrs. Hutchinson?" HEHEHE. No she was kidding. Maybe. Hmmm. Did he want to? "Do you see anyone we went to school with?" So far she had only spotted someone at another table she would like to set aflame. Ah High School! It always brought out the best in people didn't it!? |
Quote:
Name tags? He picked his up and it had his Prefect on it. HA eat that Ivan! Instead of putting it on he shoved it in his pocket not wanting to put holes in his suit. Nope. Not gonna happen. Besides who wouldn't remember him? He looked around for Fia his fingers drumming on the table. Seriously...where did she run off to? Hopefully she hadn't popped already?! Oh no...now he was worried. He stood up on the bench and looked around for a familiar blonde head. "See Fia anywhere?" No...surely she wouldn't be or there'd be a panic somewhere about a pregnant lady. Ah ha! She was across the room. Now why would she be over there? Eh...whatever. He sat back down and grinned at Cela. "HI!" |

Anyway. Enough fooling around. "Your name's familiar but I can't remember your face. Are you here by yourself?" But her attention snapped away from him to-- Quote:
Unless he showed up. Then... well, her cool exterior wouldn't survive the pang of memories. Gulp. |
Cela and Louisa and Addy Quote:
It wouldn't be Hogwarts if he wasn't following Celandine Toussaint around, would it? Cope looked rather dapper in his jacket and skinny tie, a burnished dark gold that matched Cela without being too matchy-matchy. She'd dressed him, obviously, and she'd also made sure there wasn't sand in his cuffs or in the curls he'd let go a bit long. She hadn't been able to talk him out of the beard, though, and Cope kept rubbing at it absently. "What will mine say? Copernicus Kettleburn, I'm with her?" He picked up the tag, and sure enough, that's what it now said. He shouldn't have been so specific. Genevieve Branxton was on unofficial hostess duty as the daughter of the Board president, and her mother had run her ragged with really stupid questions and suggestions about table placements and napkin folding. It was good that the rest of the Board was so much more helpful and decisive than Cassandra Branxton, because Genevieve simply didn't CARE anymore. In fact, she was getting a little resentful, because she was pretty sure her mother was trying to warm her up for wedding planning. Vivi wasn't going to bite. Weddings happened without silly napkin folding. She'd escaped her mother, who'd gone off to greet her oldest friend, and now Vivi hid at the Ravenclaw table, waiting for Max to find her and give her a sympathetic cuddle. That's what he did. It was very effective. BUT FOR NOW... the petite blond offered a hand to her old roommate as she slid into a seat next to her. "Louisa. Fancy running into... no, that's rubbish. I hoped you'd be here. How are you? I heard you got a snazzy job in London? Tell me everything." Every. Thing. Vivi wanted so much to be properly friends with Louisa again, especially since the bad blood between them was long out of the picture. "ADDY. Come sit here and cry over how much you miss my goddaughter. I'll hold your hand and insist you're a wonderful mother." Vivi was an angel. Didn't they all recognize that by now? |
Quote:
"Don't play with it, Copey, you'll give yourself bare patches." Cela took his hand from his beard and held it. She could put up with the beard's scratchiness as long as it was even and pretty, so no rubbing. Cela made herself comfortable seated at the table and smiled up at him adoringly. He WAS with her! But ZOMG there were so many more important things the tag needed to say. "Copernicus Kettleburn. Minister's son. Genius. Father. Sanity keeper. Sexiest Kettleburn ever!" Celandine supplied, correcting said tag to be FAR more accurate in her opinion. And okay she was implying that the Minister of Magic wasn't sexy but wasn't that a good thing? The man was her father-in-law. Husband automatically won that battle. "We have to donate to that scholarship thingy later." She added brightly. "Maybe whoever wins it will be a future student of yours!" And she knew Copernicus would know how much was appropriate to donate. She was more inclined to just be ALL THE THINGS, ALL THE MONEY! Because of a mixture of generosity and a lack of appreciation of value and making money stretch. Like there was always money, soooo why worry about it, right? SPOILER!!: Miles quote goes here but Tegz was too lazy to quote it And then LOOOOOK it was Miles! Co-prefect! She smiled at him. "Only better because now there are even MORE friends to make." People that she hadn't gone to school with for instance! Not that she wasn't excited about seeing people she hadn't seen in years, because she was and she wanted to share baby pictures and everything too! "I haven't seen her yet. I'll say hi later, I promise. Have you met my husband? Copernicus Kettleburn. He's an Associate Professor of Archeology & Egyptology at the Wizarding University of Cairo." She shot an adoring look at her husband and then looked back at Miles. ... .... OH DID MILES WANT TO SEE BABY PICTURES? HE TOTALLY DID RIGHT? ZOMG! Cela Had a picture of her three children, a recent one, which she seemingly pulled out of nowhere and THRUST in his face. "Our babies!" Well. a nearly 10 year old, an 8 year old, and a 5 year old, but ALWAYS her babies. ---- Oh and look! One of Cassandra Rae-Branxton's daughters! And she'd heard a bit of news too. Cela leaned down the table slightly, smiling brightly. "Genevieve Branxton! I hear congratulations are in order!" Marriage was the BEST thing ever! Cela was always inclined to be happy for others since she was so happy in her own marriage. And now she was going to make doe eyes at her own husband for a moment, don't mind her. |
Well, Hogwarts was once again graced by the presence of the Evolette McKenna. Except legally she was now Evolette Ellerby and it had been a very long time since she'd been anywhere near Hogwarts. She was leading the way, obviously because she was on Plymouth Morgan's arm and Plymouth went wherever she wanted him to, that was what made him to be such a good friend. So of course, since she was leading, she'd might as well take him to where he belonged, his old house table. "Look, Plymmy, do you see anyone you recognize?" Besides Cela and Cope who were right there just now. Evolette wiggled her fingers in their direction. It was just like old times, wasn't it? Except for the fact that they were all married now and had children. Plus, Evolette was sure she was hotter than ever. |
open Amelia had gulped as she made her way into the great hall her eyes had trailed over all of the tables. It kind of hurt to see some of the people who were there, like really more than it should have. She pushed the feelings and emotions away as she made her way to the Ravenclaw table and took a seat near to where Nigel, Louisa, Vivi, and even Vashti were. Yep…her nametag was there, really she probably was one of the people who looked least like the cherub cheeked girl of her youth. She looked up to where Vivi was when she heard the older blonde girl comment about congratulations – wait was she like pregnant or something? Or…was it something less ‘big’. Mika really had no idea but she did want to say hello to the Blonde who had graduated in her what? Third year? Mika glanced around the table and smile to everyone really. “Hey Nigel how’s the band going?” She asked kindly and grinned at her former housemate and teammate for that short time. Where was he? Kyle was having a hard time spotting any of her old friends as she made her way to the Ravenclaw table and sent everyone smiles as she went along the table looking for an opening to sit. The benches really seemed smaller than they have been those ten years before. She looked around at everyone who was well, with their significant others really or so it seemed and sighed. Single life. India winked to her sister and kept walking along the table until she came to a clear spot. Sitting down she sent Louisa a small smile, “Hey Louisa how are you doing?” India asked the younger girl still sending her rather large smiles as that was the only decent thing to do right? Maybe some of her former dormmates would be there? India wondered and looked around the table scoping out the names, of course she had been awfully shy back in school so well…she would have to wait and see if she recognized people really before saying hello or throwing herself into conversations really. |

"Hehe... hehe...," was currently how Plymouth Glen Morgan was greeting everyone. They got a nod, followed by a nervous sort of giggle. He was more or less the most excited and nervous man boy in attendance. Evolette McKenna wasn't really helping by choosing Ravenclaw first, but he'd already vowed to just follow her around. It really WAS just like Hogwarts all over again. Except without all that angst and pure misery. "Cel... and Cope," the source of all that angst and misery. Also his family. ".... remember that time we almost died? Like right outside of here?" |
Quote:
Before he even grew out his hair. He remembered that because it was the last time there was a Claw Head Girl before he graduated. Who knows since then. Quote:
"Good, we headlined one of the days at that thing in Diagon Alley over the summer or whenever it was and yeah it has been good. Other than that i'm still doing the university thing. How have you been?" Watching this table was amusing so far. Especially if you listen to the conversations. Nigel had nothing better to do besides eat. |
Vashti, Vivi and Louisa! Was it really out of habit that Ellie automatically made her way to the Ravenclaw table? Or was it because as soon as she walked through the doors, it was easy to figure out that the tables were kept set up in houses and she decided to go to Ravenclaw's because that was where most people she would know would be? Either way, that was where she headed. And she walked past quite a few people she didn't know and didn't care about until she reached Vashti, Vivi and Louisa. "Hi," she greeted. Honestly, she wasn't too excited about them. Well, Vashti, maybe, but Louisa and Vivi she's actually seen quite a bit. Ellie was more eager to see the long-lost people from her Hogwarts days. And if no one too cool showed up, she probably wouldn't stay too long. She had a husband at home whose company she preferred. |

She knew exactly where Miles would be as her eyes landed right on the Ravenclaw table. She smiled and began to waddle towards him, making sure to not bump into anyone. At least, for now, the little one was sound asleep. One bump would wake her up and start the movement. "I'm here," she smiled as she walked up to Miles, linking her arm with his. "You can stop worrying. I see the look in your eyes." |
Forty years. That was how long it had been since Preston Kingsley had sat at the Ravenclaw table, and he rapped the wood with his knuckles as he looked down the length of it. Twelve years since his last walk around the room as a professor. He'd almost not come, reluctant to have the school reunion become another campaign appearance. But nostalgia had won out. He could almost imagine Eleanor's insistence that he attend. That it would be "good" for him. He wondered whether he'd be recognized, as he scanned the faces at the table, by his classmates he had not seen in decades, or by his former pupils who had known him as a much more ruffley person. Dressed in a nice, though simple, suit and tie, and a little more wrinkled around the eyes, Preston Kingsley also wore just the slightest hint of a smile. |

"You can't say Sexiest Kettleburn. The tabs will get it, and we'll have to contend with disapproval from your brothers and my father and his staff and, for some reason, Dell Bott, and I'm just not willing to deal with the disapproval." He picked up the card, and it changed to a simple listing of name and date and house. "We'll donate." They always did. Or Cope always did, because Cela tended to give away entire closets full of things at the least whim. She was generous to a fault, although he didn't fault her. Quote:
And so it would keep Cela from remembering that she wanted a fourth before Chloe got too old. Quote:
"Evee. Plym. Come sit with us. Did you see the spread? D'you suppose this is what we're really fundraising for? More parties?" *** Quote:
"Mrs. Kettleburn, it's lovely to see you again. Thank you." And because she HAD met Cela and knew exactly what type she was, Vivi offered up her hand and ring for inspection. Quote:
"Hi. You're here! Have you seen Max yet?" |
Quote:
But had she seen him? "No. Didn't you come together?" Ellie tried to think of a reason they might not have, but couldn't come to one. Max would have waited for Vivi to get ready......maybe it was Vivi who hadn't waited for Max. Though, in that case, Vivi would know that Max was home so far. Quote:
Kingsley. Her face reddened when her gaze found him. She wouldn't forget that face of his that she dearly missed when he vanished after her second year. Now Treyen wished he was here, yeah? He'd practically idolized the Transfiguration Professor as a kid. He even wore those ruffles that one time. Those super hot ruffles. Distracted from her classmates, the |
vivikins! And still open for anyone. we're making observations Addy was STARTLED when she heard someone nearly shouting her name... Of course it was Viv. Heh. She tugged Spike along with her and stopped by wjere Viv was sitting with a slew of people. A whole SLEW. Some of those assembled were vaguely familiar faces, some she was sure she had never met. And furthermore there were some she wished she had never laid eyes on. One in particular who was awfully rude. And that someone got snubbed. No hello from Addy Hutchinson for YOU. Hmph. Smiling she took her friend's hand and bounced on the balls of her feet. "Sephi was so sad she couldn't come tonight. I think she wanted to see you more than she wanted to come hang out with her parents." Kids tho. Sighs. And now that Vivi had mentioned it she DID miss her ickle one a lot. Thanks Genevieve Branxton. Thanks. A. Lot. "Where's your fiancee? Is he going to grace us with his presence this evening?" HMMMMMM? WAS HE? Did Viv want to rub her itty bitty baby bump? She was the only one besides Spike who was allowed. Mhm. Hehehehe. "I want food. Would you like me to bring you some? OH! We're going to Peru. To the Amazon." Word vomit anyone? Addy was good at random conversations! |
SPOILER!!: Cela, Cope, Fia Miles laughed as Cela spoke. Same old Cela. He was glad she hadn’t changed some things should remain the same as they grow older. “I suppose if you looked at it that way then yes. But technically you could make friends every day.” Or meet people. Personally he needed some friends who didn’t need him for his dad. That would be nice. He smiled as she said she would say hi to Fia. It wasn’t that he wanted her to say hi it was more that he was worried his wife would give birth in the castle! But…that would be mildly amusing after the panic disappated that was for sure. “I’m sure she’d appreciate that.” He glanced at the man she called her husband and shook his hand with a smile, “Pleasure, I’m Miles Vorkosigan.” He left out the Lord part tactically because he knew Cela would probably smack him otherwise. “I wouldn’t dream of cutting her off about her kids. Have some of my own actually, fraternal twins and one more on the way.” Just like that a picture was being thrust in his face and he laughed. He pulled it back so he could see it properly and smiled. “How old are they?” He felt an arm slide into his and he grinned and kissed her cheek. ”Can’t help but worry you know that. That’d be like asking Ivan to stop being selfish.” He chuckled and looked back at Cela, “Cela you remember my wife Fia.” He handed the picture of Cela’s kids to Fia for her to look at so she didn’t have it thrust in her face like he had. Giving Fia’s hand a squeeze and smiled. “We almost didn’t come today but couldn’t really pass up the opportunity to see everyone.” He held out his other arm to help Fia sat down if she wanted. “What have you been up to since we left?” he asked Cela leaving out the obvious besides having kids bit. |

Nicola has arrived! Anyone can grab her! <3 Well, the school definitely had changed in the passed three years that much she definitely had to admit. The twenty one year old redhead played with a strand of her locks as she casually walked into the Great Hall, swaying her hips as she did so. The redhead took in a deep breath & took a scan around. Mhmm, things definitely hadn't changed since she graduated three years ago. The young woman, whom was discovered to be a stunning beauty named Nicola Kusakindla & yes she knew she was beautiful; took a moment to adjust the hem of her skirt before she made her way towards the table of people who used to wear those Blue ties like she had when she attended this school. After taking another moment to scan over the unfamiliar people in front of her, she brushed some of luscious locks away from her eyes before taking the initiative to raise her hand & give a casual wave to her former classmates."Hey everyone, good to be back, hmm?" Eh, seemed like a pretty boring line, but whatever, she didn't really care nor did she regret it. Although, the only thing she did regret was not bringing her stud muffin Enre with her to this thing. He was the PERFECT arm candy to have in any situation like this-well in general actually! Ughh, should've fluttered her lashes & played with her hair to convince him to come. He was back home in Hungary, probably working on those fine muscles of his for Qudditch. ....He should be here..Ughhhhhh... |
Quote:
"Ms.... Stone, was it?" he offered, hazarding a guess, given that he did not see a nametag. Recognizing young people as adults was tricky business, but he recalled that she had been a Ravenclaw and the age seemed to fit... even if the hair didn't quite. "Splendid gathering, isn't it?" |
