As you walk through the opposite opened double doors from the Barnyard's Creature Housing you first notice the newly constructed fenced walkway leading towards the open playpen area. Was this really the "Playpens" originally? Curious as ever you continually walk down heading towards it only to hear familiar squawking noises. To your right you eventually see the herd of Hippogriffs and Winged Horses roaming around the open area. You could practically pet them from this distance, if they so chose to come over when you beckon them with food.

Well, it had seemed like an appropriate thing to say. Amur let out a breath, relieved that the weird looks and stares now had context.
Her smile grew as she looked between Zeke and Hady, her eyebrows arching with each word spoken. The reporter side of her family, her father's side, started to poke out as she peered between the two with intent interest.
"What happened? It sounds like quite the story."
If they didn't want to say, perhaps they shouldn't have mentioned?

Admit it? Admit she saved his buttttt? HAHAHA... no. Not quite. "Okay, you might have saved me from a broken nose, but my butt was perfectly fine." And yes he was going to take the literal high ground.
Of course, he knew she was playing, and he was playing too - he even gave her another little bump to show that he was just kidding too. "We help each other," he added, informing Amur in case Hady wasn't clear enough.
As for the what and how... wellllll.... "Yeah, it was bouncing bulbs, and I hadn't gotten a handle of the knock-back jinx, so... well it was a little jumpy, and jumping AT me, which is what they do, they attack, Hady jumped in and helped." So in a way, a small way, she kinda saved him from being beaten in the face until he was as purple as the plant itself. He wouldn't be admitting to it though. Not in so many words.

Biting down on her bottom lip she attempted to stifle a laugh. This was seriously funny. Cause if he'd have gotten his 'butt' hurt during that class she would've been highly confused since the bouncing bulb was in front of them! Unless maybe someone else's bulb thing got away from them and attacked him...but yeah okay she didn't need or want to know!
Flashing him a grin she bumped him back to show she knew he was teasing as well. It was nice they could do this without someone taking it seriously and getting upset over it.
Oh good! Zeke was explaining about the class so now she wouldn't have to do it. Kicking her feet back and forth since she couldn't much reach anything she looked back out at the open field. | |

Amur's eyes widened a little as she looked between the two friends. She was halfway between laughing and gasping in horror. The image that Zeke crafted in her mind was incredibly amusing, but the prospect of a broken nose was not. "Oh.....wow."
Ducking her head, Amur buried her chin in her arms, watching the winged-horses for a moment. How was she supposed to manage bouncing-bulbs with a wand that only worked when it felt like it?
She turned her eyes back to Zeke and Hady. "Are all classes that dangerous? And if so, can I sit by you two?"
Because Zeke sounded like he knew how things worked, and Hady seemed like she had a good handle on spells and was brave.

Hady saw the near laughter on Amur's face before it shifted to horror. It was this that made the Slytherin finally bust up laughing having to quickly remove her hands from her hoodie and grip the fence to keep from falling.
"No...no" She made out in gasps through her laughter. She wasn't sure why it was so funny but just the look on the younger girls face. Taking a deep breath Hady managed to compose herself quickly enough though she still wanted to keep laughing. "No not all classes are that way. Some are boring, others fun, others quite strange at times. I don't mind if you sit near me, you can if you like."
Cause helping younger kids is good. It might also help earn some house points which her house needed cause people kept losing them all! | |
