The train made a sudden jolt that sent Rorie screaming into the nearest compartment car in pure fear. Three girls were in there already. Ror could feel how vulnerable she looked and she absolutely detested it. Sucking in a deep breath through her nostrils, she shook her hair back, and straightened up her posture. "Sorry."

Startled, Lux almost had a heart attack when a girl randomly ran into their compartment screaming as if a killer from some lame horror movie was after her. Putting her hand to her heart, the redhead slowly recovered from the fright.
"Are you okay?" she asked while feeling concerned...because this wasn't normal behavior at all.

“If you guys need…bathrooms” she shrugged and winked, “maybe I can give you a nice password to a bathroom in question?” She offered with a laugh and plopped into an empty spot in the compartment.
“So did you guys have good summers? And we need to come up with a nickname for Rorie…Lemur doesn’t work…we need Bianca’s nicknaming skills in here” she grinned and really wanted her BABE to be in here. Puck sighed suddenly and glanced over toward Lux, "Gabe Banner's the ravenclaw Prefect" she frowned...the only solace was really that she would hang with Zander more than him right?
Curiously Lux watched as Puck left the compartment only to return shortly after REALLY EXCITED. Well, excitement was always good in her books, and it was really nice to see one of her friends having a lot of fun. Having fun was awesome!!
Waaaaait, ZANDER was the other Gryffindor Prefect? Wow. Now if there was one replacement she could see being worthy of Bay, it was Zander. Bay would always be her favourite, but Zander would surely have made him proud if he was still there. "That's amazing, Puck! You two are going to be a great team, I can tell already." They were both awesome people and really friendly, so how could their partnership not be amazing???
The bathroom comment made her chuckle, and she had to wonder if she would get into trouble if she took Puck up on that offer. Getting in trouble was bad, so she would try her best to avoid it whenever possible. "I had a good summer. How was yours? And Gabe is the really shy boy who is Ruby's brother, right?" Lux didn't know Ruby very well, but they had talked before, and Ruby seemed pretty cool.

Then he noticed Cinna and he smiled and nodded towards his best lion friend. "Hey Cinna." he greeted her with a sup nod. "I heard Emmy spent a lot of time with you this summer. What did you girls end up doing?" he asked curious about what their activities were. He could even feel the awkward tension between Emmy and Lux as he catched a glimpse of his girlfriend but she seemed relax in his arms.
He heard Lux mention Puck was a prefect. A bell went off in his brain and he snapped his fingers. "Oh right! Puck you made prefect. Congrats miss prefect." he gave her a smirk. "You will show me the ins and outs of the castle right?" he asked. He heard Puck mention Zander was a prefect. He could congratulate him later. Woaahh Gabe was prefect too. Man how much is going on for this term? He was impressed and he took up on Puck's offer with the prefect bathroom password. He could use a nice bath once in a while.
When Kace arrived, it made Lux smile because she hadn't seen him in a little while. Maybe that was her fault, or maybe it was no one's fault but she hoped that he wasn't upset with her the way that Emmy was. It was a relief when he was talking to her normally and asked her how her summer was. She should have known he wouldn't be annoyed with her; Kace was really nice and not a loser like his cousin Buttface Brae.
Petting Toffy, she stretched out in her seat while trying to get comfortable despite the awkwardness she felt being around Emmy. "My summer was pretty nice. I didn't want it to end. How was yours?"

She was friendlier than Alexa and that's what Emmylou liked about the Puck even though she didn't know her all that well.
She really hoped that it wasn't going to be just her, Lux and the owl with the name that she couldn't pronounce. Where was Kace or Cinna? Just as she was thinking that Cinna had walked right into the compartment and sat next to her and it was on the correct side and not on Kace's side which was just what she wanted but the whole Lux sitting across from her or just being in the compartment was making things feel very awkward. "I think I did too." She was happy that she wasn't the only one that had really been happy with this compartment. Just Kace had to show up now because if he didn't then Emmylou would go looking for him to make sure that he was okay.
Emmylou nearly jumped out of her seat when she heard someone screaming. Why were people screaming? Were pranks being pulled already? The fifth year Gryffindor blinked and looked at the compartment door as someone was shaking their hair and apologized. "Are you okay?" The Southerner asked the girl. Why had she screamed? That was the main question that was really bugging Emmylou right now.
After the screaming girl had entered Emmylou was still wondering where Kace. She didn't want to seem clingy but she just wanted him to hold her right now and actually make the awkwardness in the compartment go away. She normally wasn't so clingy and worried about him but just thought that maybe he had lost her when she was running around looking for the best compartment that she could find.As she was looking out the window she didn't even notice that Kace arrived until Emmylou heard him say her name. "Hey." A big huge smile had appeared on her face, her darkish blue eyes brightened. She moved over a little bit for him to have room to sit and then of course moved closer to him because she could. Emmylou blushed when Kace kissed her on the cheek and then her blush turned into a deeper pink color when he kissed her nose.
Could a hole appear and swallow her whole please??
The awkwardness made Lux wish that Bay was there with her more than ever. She missed her boyfriend and wished that he was coming back to school with her. Emmy and Cinna were lucky because they still got to see their boyfriends on a regular basis. Sighing, she reminded herself of the two-way mirrors even though she still wished that Bay was there to make her feel better like he always did.
"How are you?" she asked politely, not sure what else to say right at that moment.
Dylan dragged his things along the corridor of the train with him, glancing in each compartment for one with room. A few of them were full but he found himself an empty one and made himself comfortable inside.
The fifth year sat there for a minute and then, when he got a bit bored, he took out his guitar. He was sure no one else could hear him from in here so why not? Smiling, he glanced out the window as he began to play.
After waving goodbye to Amelia on the platform the eleven year old made his way to the middle car to try and find somewhere to sit. It wasn't even like he could sit with friends since he only knew one boy that went to Hogwarts, while the rest of his friends were going to school in Wales. Still, this was Amelia's Alma Mater and she told him he'd love Hogwarts, no matter what house he was in. Even if she did insist that Slytherin was the best.
Pulling his luggage along behind him and looking into carriages Harper noticed a lot of full ones, and while he normally wasn't shy he didn't want to just burst into one full of people he didn't know. Which was why he was originally going to walk past the carriage with an older boy as well. But then he noticed that the guy had a guitar. Harper loved the guitar! Slipping the door open slightly he stuck his head in, and the boy was good. "You're amazing!" Harper exclaimed, before blushing slightly and saying, "...Ummm. Hi. Can I sit with you?"

People really shouldn’t stand in her way. That was the important part, and all Brooklyn cared about. That this girl learned that, just like she’d proven to Simon way back before last year. Now she was bigger, so that made her better. As if she could be any better than she had been. The reaction her statement had gotten merited a calculated look, anyhow. Apparently this girl wanted to try and argue with her superiorness. The apology was obviously not really meant, and a response was on the tip of her tongue, ready to spill out, when suddenly the girl had continued speaking and then opened a compartment door nearby. “Still doesn’t make it okay,” she replied instead, sweeping into the compartment as regally as she could given the lack of height she had.
She didn’t mind if she did take the offer, even if it meant a debate over who was right. Nothing could have been as crazy as her argument with the head girl last term when she’d been crazy and acting like a fairy tale evil fairy. “Course. You still really shouldn’t stop in the middle of the corridor, even if you didn’t mean it.” Someone could get hurt. She could’ve gotten hurt, and that would have been bad. Queens didn’t get hurt. Even if she had, she wouldn’t have shown it. She hadn’t shown the reaction to Tywin’s digging his claws into her shoulder, and her blue eyes watched as the Bengal kitten jumped down to stalk around the compartment. Nothing was found, so she went over and perched on a seat regally. Unknown older girl could come in and join her if she so wished. She didn’t particularly care either way.

There had to be an empty compartment somewhere. Hady had been through most of the train already and she was tired. So so tired having been up nearly all night long with her best friend. Not that she would let it show at all. Letting out a soft sigh as she glanced into yet another full compartment she continued on.
Sucking on her bottom lip in thought and fingering the hem of her borrowed hoodie she swept her eyes up and down the corridor appearing to be looking for someone. Maybe it was one person really or just anyone she knew, only the small Slytherin would know. At least for now.

"Thought up of a name yet?'' the Puffer asked as he made himself at home in one of the seats opposite of Margo. And see? Margo wasn't afraid of toads. Awesome! "Want to hold him?" Adi lifted the croaking Gus off of his shoulders and held it out to the firstie.
Adi was super pleased Margo was excited about Hogwarts. "The Sorting's up first for you. Which House do you want to be in?''

He squished the excited Norah back, pleased to see the little Hufflepuff. Aw she was saying hi to Gus too. He had to admit, he was happy that most of the persons he met didn't ignore his toad. No doubt Gus must be enjoying all the attention too. The toad croaked in reply to Norah.
Adi sat opposite to Norah as he held out the Chocolate Frog to him. "Thanks, Norah.'' He could never get enough of these things. He broke a piece off then popped it into his mouth.
"It was great but I think I'm mo more looking forward to another year at school.'' Gus leapt off his shoulder at that moment to the floor before hopping towards Norah's feet. "He likes you.'' Hmmm. It seems as though Gus was a social Toad.

"Checking in on you, of course.'' He had told Jasmine he would help out her sister and he intended on keeping that promise. Though he wouldn't be exactly babying her. Janelle was at that age where everyone wanted to prove their independence. "Have you made any other friends yet?" She was nice so that wouldn't be any trouble for her.
Oh! Chocolate Froggies! "Thanks,'' Adi said as he took one. He had his own stash but he didn't want to be rude by refusing. Besides, one day he'd return the favour. "These are my favorite sweets. And Jasmine was quite right of course.'' Adi took a seat. "Do you want to be in Ravenclaw too, Janelle? I'm sure Jasmine has told you all about the Sorting.''

Lilah sighed, she been dragging her trunk behind her for what seemed like forever. She'd attempted to go for a safe option of getting on the train at the first chance possible and sitting in the front cars so she could get off asap she wasn't brainy enough to realise all the doors opened simultaneously. Now she'd made it all the way through without finding an empty compartment; of course she didn't want to interuppt any conversations or gatherings that were already taking place. In the middle cars she hoped to have more luck in finding an empty compartment, she didn't want to venture towards the back of the train- ooh no that would be far too scary she winced at the thought. Peering gingerly into each compartment, she sighed a little seeing many of them already occupied. Finally one was empty! She slid open the and slipped inside, tidying away her belongings and plonking herself down on the seat, cradling Mr Tibbles in her arms, Lil Buttercup the bear propped up against the wall furthest from the door. Her feet far from reaching the floor she began to swing them back and forth in motion, she was already bored and the journey hadn't even begun. She began to sway slightly, rocking Mr Tibbles and then went over her checklist she'd created to ensure she didn't leave anything behind: robes check, school books check, other books check, colouring books check, Lil Buttercup check, Mr Tibbles check, toothbrush check, and then she got bored of that. It was then, and luckily then for she was avoiding a terrible embarrassment, that she remembered her travel sickness tablet; a terribly muggle invention but they helped to ease her stomach nonetheless. She rummaged through her bag until she found them right at the very bottom, popping two in her mouth she began to suck them like sweeties- she was so glad they were cherry flavoured, yum.

Nemo felt like this kid was getting under his skin and maybe was doing so on purpose. "Right." This was the best response this boy could hope for at the moment. He's lucky Nemo didn't become increasingly broody at the mention of his father.
The fifth year sighed again, looking at the pages of his book and then up at Hugo with as little interest in what he was saying as possible. "I guess, maybe i should thank the stupid little fish because he's made my name immortal." Scofffff! Nope, he was never thanking anyone for that film.

Okay... so maybe the question made him kinda mad.
Then there was a mention of food, sure whatever. Then....there.. there was a subject that made Nemo grin a little bit. "Yes, i do." He had a girlfriend, and she was pretty and French and clever and ugh. He wished she was going to Hogwarts with him.
Hugo nodded in response, "You should..." and without looking at Nemo he said in a whisper "And should dress up as a clown fish" really, it would be cool BUT better keep that suggestion to himself or Nemo could throw his book at him and he wasn't looking for that. Keep it smooth. He was just going to remind it every now and then.

Oh, fish boy did have a girlfriend. "Why isn't she here with you?" and most importantly "Why you teenagers like kissing? It's disgusting" he has seen his sister kissing her boyfriend and it wasn't appealing at all.

She normally wasn't so clingy and worried about him but just thought that maybe he had lost her when she was running around looking for the best compartment that she could find.As she was looking out the window she didn't even notice that Kace arrived until Emmylou heard him say her name. "Hey." A big huge smile had appeared on her face, her darkish blue eyes brightened. She moved over a little bit for him to have room to sit and then of course moved closer to him because she could. Emmylou blushed when Kace kissed her on the cheek and then her blush turned into a deeper pink color when he kissed her nose.

Curiously Lux watched as Puck left the compartment only to return shortly after REALLY EXCITED. Well, excitement was always good in her books, and it was really nice to see one of her friends having a lot of fun. Having fun was awesome!!
Waaaaait, ZANDER was the other Gryffindor Prefect? Wow. Now if there was one replacement she could see being worthy of Bay, it was Zander. Bay would always be her favourite, but Zander would surely have made him proud if he was still there. "That's amazing, Puck! You two are going to be a great team, I can tell already." They were both awesome people and really friendly, so how could their partnership not be amazing???
The bathroom comment made her chuckle, and she had to wonder if she would get into trouble if she took Puck up on that offer. Getting in trouble was bad, so she would try her best to avoid it whenever possible. "I had a good summer. How was yours? And Gabe is the really shy boy who is Ruby's brother, right?" Lux didn't know Ruby very well, but they had talked before, and Ruby seemed pretty cool.
When Kace arrived, it made Lux smile because she hadn't seen him in a little while. Maybe that was her fault, or maybe it was no one's fault but she hoped that he wasn't upset with her the way that Emmy was. It was a relief when he was talking to her normally and asked her how her summer was. She should have known he wouldn't be annoyed with her; Kace was really nice and not a loser like his cousin Buttface Brae.
Petting Toffy, she stretched out in her seat while trying to get comfortable despite the awkwardness she felt being around Emmy. "My summer was pretty nice. I didn't want it to end. How was yours?"
Could a hole appear and swallow her whole please??
The awkwardness made Lux wish that Bay was there with her more than ever. She missed her boyfriend and wished that he was coming back to school with her. Emmy and Cinna were lucky because they still got to see their boyfriends on a regular basis. Sighing, she reminded herself of the two-way mirrors even though she still wished that Bay was there to make her feel better like he always did.
"How are you?" she asked politely, not sure what else to say right at that moment.
“Thanks Emmy,” Puck grinned over to her “I…I just don’t know you know?” She shrugged and laughed “I’m just glad that Zander’s the male Prefect cause…you know he’s not annoying?” She shrugged and well there was the whole thing about him being actually friendly which was good.
Puck gave Rorie a smile, she knew something was up but not exactly everything…but really, it was clear that she was afraid of something. “I was nervous coming last year” she admitted and gave her a big you can talk to me later look. And Kace just made her grin and smirk really.
“You know what maybe I will sneak you guys into the prefects lounge? I heard that there is a tub in there” she grinned and glanced at Emmy, “both of you can use it” she glanced between them and chuckled.

"Um...I don't know if we're allowed to use magic yet..." They weren't AT Hogwarts but...she was hurt. And the Prefects compartment was not exactly close by! "Never mind. I'll do it." He couldn't get in that much trouble anyways. Raising his wand Kyroh reached out for Penelope's hand. "Stay still alright?"
His brows furrowed as he concentrated on NOT making the spell too powerful. Finally after a few minutes he opened his mouth. "Glacius." He whispered softly, watching as the ice particles made its way out of his wand and onto her hand.

Mitchell was in a compartment on his own. He had his feet resting against the window and a hat covering his eyes. It was a long ride and Goldilocks had the little prefect pow-wow thing. So, he might as well get some shut eye while he could.
But after awhile he did get bored. Where did his cousin get off to anyway? After a few more seconds he figured it was time to go have a look when, by crazy random happenstance, the very cousin happened to appear in the corridor.
"Yo." he said in greeting. "Where you been? I got a nap in."
Oh. Look. He'd found the Mitchell.
"The food cart thing," Kody replied as he slid into the compartment his cousin was apparently occupying alone. "Here." He tossed a chocolate frog at him before helping himself to a seat and stretching out his legs.
He popped a few Bertie Bott's beans into his mouth. "Have you been here the whole time?" How boring. Maybe his girlfriend just left or something. Kody still hadn't met her, so he wouldn't know if he saw her in the corridor or something.

He squished the excited Norah back, pleased to see the little Hufflepuff. Aw she was saying hi to Gus too. He had to admit, he was happy that most of the persons he met didn't ignore his toad. No doubt Gus must be enjoying all the attention too. The toad croaked in reply to Norah.
Adi sat opposite to Norah as he held out the Chocolate Frog to him. "Thanks, Norah.'' He could never get enough of these things. He broke a piece off then popped it into his mouth.
"It was great but I think I'm mo more looking forward to another year at school.'' Gus leapt off his shoulder at that moment to the floor before hopping towards Norah's feet. "He likes you.'' Hmmm. It seems as though Gus was a social Toad.
Norah grinned at the little toady when it croaked at her, and considered croaking back but didn't 'cause she was too big for such things, obviously. See, she could have a filter now it was about time.
HE LIKED HER. THE TOAD LIKED HER. She giggled and stooped down to pick Gus up, holding him out to Adi across the compartment. "Ooooh, yeah! Hogwarts is the most excitingest thing." EVEN excitinger than summer, but HE had OWLs to do so Norah wasn't entiiiirely sure why he was so excited but she decided not to bring up exams 'cause ew.

It was then, and luckily then for she was avoiding a terrible embarrassment, that she remembered her travel sickness tablet; a terribly muggle invention but they helped to ease her stomach nonetheless. She rummaged through her bag until she found them right at the very bottom, popping two in her mouth she began to suck them like sweeties- she was so glad they were cherry flavoured, yum.
Norah noticed a little girl looking into their compartment and then walk away. They weren't THAT scary, were they? Trying not to be excited that she was old enough to seem scary to people, she held a finger up at Adi to show she would be right back and quickly exited the compartment to find the girl.
Norah found her sitting in an empty compartment whose door she proceeded to open and ask, "Hey there! D'ya want to come sit with us?" She gestured vaguely down the corridor in the direction of their compartment. "I'm Norah. Third year." She GRINNED at the girl, who she assumed was a firstie, 'cause she was OLD and things. Hehehe. "I can help you with your stuff if you want..."

Janelle was at that age where everyone wanted to prove their independence. "Have you made any other friends yet?" She was nice so that wouldn't be any trouble for her.
Oh! Chocolate Froggies! "Thanks,'' Adi said as he took one. He had his own stash but he didn't want to be rude by refusing. Besides, one day he'd return the favour. "These are my favorite sweets. Oh, so Adi was checking up on her. Janelle didn't mind really. It was nice to know that someone was looking out for her. She was going to have to be grown up now, but it made her feel better to know that someone had her back.
"Nope, haven't made any friends yet. You and Zhenya are he only people I know so far. I was just thinking about going out to meet some of my classmates." Hopefully she'd have the chance to make some friends at the feast, if she didn't meet any on the train.
Breaking off a piece of her frog, Janelle popped it into her mouth. "Yeah, Jasmine told me about the sorting. She made Ravenclaw sound like so much fun. It might be nice to be in that house. I don't know though. Jas and I are kinda different. I guess I'll have to see where the hat wants me to go. What's it like in your house?" Janelle wondered if it would be better to be in a different house.....one without so much Guidry history.

That's really kind of you to say," he said, giving the boy a nod when he asked if he could sit with him. "Yeah, go for it! I was hoping for some company." he gave a gesture to the seat across from him.

Rorie set down Herman's cage nearby to smooth down her velvet dress. This was a very awkward situation wasn't it? What the fourteen year-old wanted to do was turn and leave to an actual empty compartment and forget this happened. That wasn't going to happen, however. She was frozen in place, afraid to take another step.
The girl continued to stand there for what seemed ages, slowly coming back into reality, when she recognized a boy who came in and sit next to the blonde. It was Kace! She knew Kace! Kace went to Disneyland with them--what was it?--a year or two ago. He must've of not recognized her though. She did have normal colored hair and her natural color of eyes then. Puck also came in, thank Merlin. This calmed her enough to move to the nearest seat. "I'm fine." She finally said to the two girls who asked her, seating herself by the door, hoping they wouldn't tell her to leave. That happening, she would have to possibly crawl to the next compartment. Ror caught the look her friend was giving her. "I'm not nervous." She said firmly. The young Hazelwood appreciated her friend's sympathy, but that's that the last thing she wanted.

Be more positive. She could do that. Kyroh was really helping with that. Penelope smiled at Kyroh. "You're great at helping me be more positive." She should really spend more time with him or something to learn how to be more positive all the time.

Her mother always wrapped the ice in a towel first before putting it on a burn. "Thank you, Kyroh. Do you think it will be alright to have the ice on the burn like that? My mother usually wraps ice in a towel before putting it on burns." Ice was cold. Now her fingers were going to be cold and burned. "The healer will probably have something better for burns, like burn healing paste or something, when we get to school. Do you want to come with me if I have to go see the healer?" Because he was here with her now, when she had been burned, and he was the one helping her now.

Shuffling down the corridors making her way around everyone she slipped past some older students and into the first empty compartment she came across. Plopping herself down onto the seat with a sigh she moved to lean against the window resting her head on it as she looked out.
Hagan made his way from her arms into her lap where he curled up into a ball of purring fur. Glancing down at him Hady ran her hand over him before shifting her attention back out the window.
Either someone would join her and give her someone to talk to for the trip or the second year would fall asleep. Whichever happened she really didn't mind at all.
Dylan looked up as he heard the door slide open and he stopped playing and beamed when the boy who opened it told him he was amazing. He chuckled. "Thank you! Oh good. The older boy was taking the interruption well and not telling him to get lost. That was good. Obviously 'Melia was telling the truth about people being kind.
With permission granted Harper slipped into the compartment, sliding the door shut behind him before sitting across from the older boy. "So, what were you playing?" because while Harper thought the playing was good he had no idea what it was meant to be. Was it a song or was the older boy just making it up as he went? The latter would obviously be the cooler thing.

Lilah pulled a face, she hoped the view was going to be more pretty than the platform, it was a bit grey and ugly and very...well stereotypical, she'd hoped for something with streamers and balloons, or something more magical for such a special occasion. She mused and hummed slightly, but there was no missing the sudden in burst from an older girl. But Lilah didn't mind, in fact she was glad for the company, she could on,y presume the journey to Hoggywarts would be much longer than the car journey home from school. She smiled at the girl, giving a little wave of her little hand.
"Hello." She spoke politely for first impressions were important. Her eyes widened at the sound of third year, woah, that was like...old. Lilah already felt fully advanced both in appearance (she'd grown 2 whole inches over summer) and mentally,she knew an awful lot of words and held conversations very well, she knew maths, how to tie her shoe laces, she'd done okay in her year six exams so she didn't think she needed to excel anymore, she couldn't imagine being any older or any different to her 11 year old self, just like she couldn't imagine her mother or father ever being any younger, madness. "Oh, well that's interesting. Lovely to meet you Norah, that's like my name, I'm Lilah. Ah and Ah." She used her hand motions to mime the similarities in the two girls names before pushing herself off her seat with one hand, cradling mrs tibbles in the other. "Coming to sit with you sounds like a wonderful idea. Can I ask who us is ?" Hopefully not some big scary person, eek. "And yes please, my trunk is super heavy." In fact Lilah had packed probably as light as she possible could of without forgetting something vital, she pointed under the seat at her trunk and gave a helpless look towards her new acquaintance.

The smile didn't last long though as Penelope posed a question."Um...I'm not too sure. I never had a burn before." He hadn't even thought about the whole towel thing....guess it was a good thing he didn't want to become a healer. "Sure!! I'll come with you."
He didn't really want to go back to the Hospital Wing. Not after spending nearly two months there with the dragon pox last year, but he'd do it for a friend.

Lilah pulled a face, she hoped the view was going to be more pretty than the platform, it was a bit grey and ugly and very...well stereotypical, she'd hoped for something with streamers and balloons, or something more magical for such a special occasion. She mused and hummed slightly, but there was no missing the sudden in burst from an older girl. But Lilah didn't mind, in fact she was glad for the company, she could on,y presume the journey to Hoggywarts would be much longer than the car journey home from school. She smiled at the girl, giving a little wave of her little hand.
"Hello." She spoke politely for first impressions were important. Her eyes widened at the sound of third year, woah, that was like...old. Lilah already felt fully advanced both in appearance (she'd grown 2 whole inches over summer) and mentally,she knew an awful lot of words and held conversations very well, she knew maths, how to tie her shoe laces, she'd done okay in her year six exams so she didn't think she needed to excel anymore, she couldn't imagine being any older or any different to her 11 year old self, just like she couldn't imagine her mother or father ever being any younger, madness. "Oh, well that's interesting. Lovely to meet you Norah, that's like my name, I'm Lilah. Ah and Ah." She used her hand motions to mime the similarities in the two girls names before pushing herself off her seat with one hand, cradling mrs tibbles in the other. "Coming to sit with you sounds like a wonderful idea. Can I ask who us is ?" Hopefully not some big scary person, eek. "And yes please, my trunk is super heavy." In fact Lilah had packed probably as light as she possible could of without forgetting something vital, she pointed under the seat at her trunk and gave a helpless look towards her new acquaintance.
Norah kept GRINNING at Lilah as she shook the girl's hand, noting how polite she was. She tried not to be intimidated by it, 'cause wasn't SHE supposed to be the impressive one, being older and everything? Lilah kept using words like 'lovely' and 'wonderful' that made Norah keep her mouth shut and NOT say that it was "super duper cool" to meet her on account of embarrassment 'n things. Still smiling, she nodded and said, "Yeah! That's...lovely!" The name thing, that is. "Maybe it means we're meant to be friends." FRIENDS. WOOOOT.
Leaning down to pick up the girl's trunk, Norah answered her question. "Oh, it's just me 'n Adi. Adi's a prefect so he's the nicest ever." And the smartest ever, probably, 'cause if you asked her prefects knew everything."I have some chocolate frogs there if you want." Straightening up, Norah's face fell when she saw the 'little' girl was already her height. DARN shortness. So much for being old and mature. "What house d'ya think you'll be in? I'm a Hufflepuff." SEEE she knew SOME things.
After the screaming girl had entered Emmylou was still wondering where Kace. She didn't want to seem clingy but she just wanted him to hold her right now and actually make the awkwardness in the compartment go away. She normally wasn't so clingy and worried about him but just thought that maybe he had lost her when she was running around looking for the best compartment that she could find.As she was looking out the window she didn't even notice that Kace arrived until Emmylou heard him say her name. "Hey." A big huge smile had appeared on her face, her darkish blue eyes brightened. She moved over a little bit for him to have room to sit and then of course moved closer to him because she could. Emmylou blushed when Kace kissed her on the cheek and then her blush turned into a deeper pink color when he kissed her nose.
Kace smiled and loved her reaction to when she saw him. He could see her eyes lit up and she was just happier. It just made him have a warm feeling in his heart and I guess that is called true love right? He chuckled when he saw her blushing when he kissed her. I guess he still had that effect on her and forever will. He had no problem with that. "You missed me?" he asked with a smirk and brought her in closer so she could warm.
He smiled down at her and began playing with her hair. He had no idea why but he loved doing it. "Remember our plan this year, I will be coming to the common room every so often."

When Kace arrived, it made Lux smile because she hadn't seen him in a little while. Maybe that was her fault, or maybe it was no one's fault but she hoped that he wasn't upset with her the way that Emmy was. It was a relief when he was talking to her normally and asked her how her summer was. She should have known he wouldn't be annoyed with her; Kace was really nice and not a loser like his cousin Buttface Brae.
Petting Toffy, she stretched out in her seat while trying to get comfortable despite the awkwardness she felt being around Emmy. "My summer was pretty nice. I didn't want it to end. How was yours?"
Kace smiled and was glad his friends were getting along. He could feel the tension between Lux and Emmy but it seemed to die down. He was still cuddled next to her of course but he kept the conversation between him and Lux going. "What did you do that you didn't want it to end?" he asked curiously. Did she go on any trips or maybe she say Bay a lot. "Did you manage to keep in touch with Bay at all. I felt bad I didn't get a chance to." He wanted to know how his lion friend was. He seemed a bit MIA this summer. He tried to invite him to bowling but he had other plans.
