Ugh.. why was it so bloody hard to find a empty compartment in the middle of the train? It seems like that he wasn't the only one who liked the middle of the train, everyone else had the same idea as he did. The Gryffindor Lion looked through the compartments looking for a empty one. "Oh come on there has to be one more open, I don't want to sit in the front and definitely not the back! Tobias thought to himself. Although Tobias wasn't giving up, there had to be one compartment left for him and his friends and his twin brother. "Yes! Finally! "said Tobias happily as he found one that was opened as people behind him who was looking for a middle compartment groaned. Shooting them a sorry look Tobias walked in waiting for his friends and twin brother to join him.
That was the thing, people think he was alone, but Tobias was waiting for three more people to join him in this compartment so he wasn't alone. He lost everyone in the crowd while getting on the train, they agreed whoever gotten on the train first they found them a spot, especially it was him. Although he didn't mind, he was glad to find them a spot, he knew that it wouldn't be long until Tyler his twin brother would join him so he wouldn't be lonely. He was worried about Savannah and Sophia, he hoped that they were alright, but they were both strong so they'll find him.

Penelope heard the compartment door open. She didn't look up from her sketchbook until she heard someone speaking to her. Oh, it was Kyroh! She smiled at Kyroh. "Of course you can sit here!" Her past encounters with Kyroh hadn't all been good, but she was hoping to fix that. There were things that she had said to him in their first year that she really, really regretted and had been really upset about. Really upset about it as in crying in the bathroom for a long time after running away from class, thinking about how horrible she was for saying those things to him, vomiting, more crying, and sort of flooding the bathroom. And Myrtle had been there wailing at her. "Kyroh? I'm really, really, really sorry for everything I've ever said to you that wasn't nice, and-" Oh, no, she could feel her pocket getting warm. No, not the wand! She couldn't let herself be too emotional and feel sad with the hazel wand. Penelope reached into her pocket for her wand and grabbed it. The wood was hot, and she had burned her fingers. "Ow!" She dropped the wand onto the seat and examined her fingers. It didn't look like they were badly burned, but it hurt. At least she hadn't burned a hole in her clothes this time.

"Tyler asked him. He cared about his best friends as much as Tobias did, but the four of them were a Gryffinpuff gang, two Hufflepuffs and two Gryffindors. Although they all been friends for ages, they all basically met each other their first year of Hogwarts on this train, a year later Savannah introduced them to Sophia who they automatically added her to the group.

By now, the newness had worn off. She had a whole year behind her of all this. Brooklyn didn’t feel like there was anything exciting about the train. Just the way to get from London to Hogwarts, along with everyone else who didn’t know to respect her. They’d learn, and until then she had Tywin. The kitten was a whole year bigger, but still was riding on her slender shoulder as she made her way down the corridor from the luggage compartment to hopefully finding a compartment that wouldn’t annoy her quite as much as some others.
Except she hadn’t noticed the person standing there looking around until she’d bumped into them. “Excuse you,” she said, stopping and sparing a glance at her shoulder where her Bengal kitten had dug his claws in to avoid falling. No harm done there. Either way, she wanted the girl to know it was stupid to stop in the corridor.
Nope. Paloma had not seen anyone, and this turned her into the saddest mood lately. Jun wasn't going to be around, not even Justine to bother her; it really made her go insane. "Guess we'll have to find a lonely compartment, Va..." She was talking to her cat, right in the moment when a younger girl bumped into her, and didn't exactly showed politeness.
"Well, I'm sorry..." Paloma replied, giving her the same glance and using the same tone as the little girl. She was the same height as Hugo, so she was probably a second year, too?
Just then, she saw an empty compartment and slid the door open. "Not really my intention, being honest." She wasn't really in the mood with being upset at the rest of the world for the weird summer she had spent. "Looking for a compartment?" She gestured towards the inside, with those comfy seats and a nice window...The almost-last glance.

Savannah finally entered the train as she made it through all the craziness of the crowd that was outside. Savannah was usually a calm person, but she didn't like being pushed and shoved by people trying to get onto the train. Shaking her head, Savannah walked down the corridor looking for her best friends and boyfriend Tobias. A few feet ahead she seen Tyler entering a compartment she quicken her pace to where she was behind him. "I'm right here Ty! "said Savannah as she walked into the compartment and sat down beside Tobias.
Savannah looked and seen that all that missing was Sophia which was weird, Sophia was never late, she started to get worried. "I haven't seen Sophy Hugglepuff, I haven't even seen her at the Platform, it's not like to be late."said Savannah honestly before sighing to herself. Resting her head on Tobias shoulder she worried about her little Hufflepuff friend hoping that she was ok. "I'm sure she's ok, if she ran into Kace or someone she knows she'll be ok!"said Savannah to herself. She was very protective of Sophia, she was like a little sister to her, she kept Sophia safe.

He'd learned not to have expectations where other peoples' housely desires were concerned, so when Kate said Ravenclaw he just smiled and nodded. "Ahhhhhhh," he added as she explained why. "I was like that, kinda....." and that was a very loose kinda. "I'm muggleborn, but my adopted mum was a Ravenclaw, so I wanted to get in there at first, but after speaking to people, Gryffindor sounded so much better." Nemo showed him the book. It was one of his favorites. "The three musketeers" This is probably where the fifth year's love of fencing had come from. So many swashbuckling stories. "No, not like the clown fish. My father named me and I know for a fact he's never seen that flim." It was rather annoying. "I'm not sure why they decided to call me Nemo." But Grimm was his last name.. He wasn't sure Nemo fit him, it meant no one...and a no one was not something he was.
He shook the boy's hand. "Pleasure to meet you, Hugo." And a Slytherin to boot. Merlin, Nemo always wanted to be a Slytherin but oh well. The dusty old hat said otherwise didn't it? "Homeschooled, i had a tutor and junk."

Having decided it was time to find Mitch, Kody had started wandering the train, checking compartments that had open doors for signs of the older boy. He was probably with his girlfriend, realistically, but Kody figured he could crash their party and they wouldn't mind too much. Hopefully.
First, though, he had to find them. And that task was proving more difficult than the boy would have preferred. He didn't like wandering aimlessly.

Ugh. He had half a mind to tell this kid 'Good Day' But that seemed a little Bilbo Baggins didn't it? "It was just fine." For instance he didn't have to deal with people asking him crazy questions about his name. "I suppose, i am hungry. How about you, Hugo?" He asked, opening his book and seeming as uninterested as possible.

Kace made his way to the train. He couldn't believe he was in his sixth year and to think about it he was going to graduate in one more year. He didn't want to think about it yet. As he made his way into the cart he noticed his girlfriend was sitting by the window seat. Aahh look at his cute girlfriend saving him a seat. "Hey Emmy..." he greeted her and put his arm around her and kissed her cheek. "Long time no see.." he grinned and pecked kissed her nose.
As he turned around he noticed Lux. Aaahh there was his best badger friend, he nodded towards Lux and gave her a warm smile. "Hello Lux, how was your summer?" he asked kindly. As soon as he was done talking to Lux he noticed Puck was in the train cart too. Man did everyone manage to find each other. This was awesome! She asked to leave her barn owl in here. He didn't care and he said, "Sure you can. You can leave him next to me if you want." he offered. "How was your summer Puck?" he asked just being a caring friend is all.
Then he noticed Cinna and he smiled and nodded towards his best lion friend. "Hey Cinna." he greeted her with a sup nod. "I heard Emmy spent a lot of time with you this summer. What did you girls end up doing?" he asked curious about what their activities were. He could even feel the awkward tension between Emmy and Lux as he catched a glimpse of his girlfriend but she seemed relax in his arms.
He heard Lux mention Puck was a prefect. A bell went off in his brain and he snapped his fingers. "Oh right! Puck you made prefect. Congrats miss prefect." he gave her a smirk. "You will show me the ins and outs of the castle right?" he asked. He heard Puck mention Zander was a prefect. He could congratulate him later. Woaahh Gabe was prefect too. Man how much is going on for this term? He was impressed and he took up on Puck's offer with the prefect bathroom password. He could use a nice bath once in a while.

Her fingers looked red. It hurt. "It burned me. Don't touch my wand, it might burn you." Or it could have other effects such as shocking him, setting off sparks, or turning his fingers into sausages it he touched it, but fortunately that hadn't happened yet. She was seriously questioning her decision to keep the hazel wand. No, she could do it, she just had to learn how to properly take care of the wand and make sure that it didn't absorb negative energy. Her fingers hurt. "It hurts." Penelope was looking at her red fingers that had been burned and trying very hard not to cry.

Kate smiled when he assured her there'd be heaps of other first years. So as long as she wasn't the only ickle one around, she'd be fine. "If we didn't have to wait until we turned eleven, I bet I'd be in the same year as you are now. I'll be twelve next month," she explained. "I have one of those late birthdays where you have to wait a whole extra year, since you didn't turn eleven in time." She just bet that they were both born in the same year.
She grew quiet as he explained how the sorting worked. Nodding along, she tried to picture that ride across the Black Lake. She fidgeted in her seat, not being able to contain the excitement she felt about finally getting to know which house she'd be sorted into. "It all sounds so fun and so magical," she said, her eyes lighting up. "That's neat that our moms were in the same house. So what did you hear about Gryffindor? What made it better?" She was suddenly more curious about her father's house.

Lux couldn't believe that the summer was over and it was already time to go back to Hogwarts. She didn't want to go back to school again, and it felt weird being on the train without Bay because this was her first train ride without him. She missed him, but at least they had the two-way mirrors so they could still talk a lot when she couldn't see him in person.
Not sure where to sit, the redhead wandered down the corridor peering into compartments and trying to find one that either had some of her friends, or was empty. It wasn't until she reached the middle of the train that she found an empty one, so she opened the doors figuring that someone was bound to join her. That was when she saw Emmy. How she had missed seeing her friend, Lux didn't understand but she hoped that this would go okay because their friendship had been strained lately.
Shrugging it off, Lux made her way to a seat across from Emmy. "Hello," she said before taking Toffy out of her pocket and giving him some treats as he squeaked happily.
Yep, no one was going to be sitting next to the window but her and Kace because she wanted to be able to look out the window and at Kace of course. It was very quiet in the compartment until the blonde haired teenager heard someone open the compartment doors. It could be Kace or it could be Cinna. She really didn't know who it was but she did leave Kace to find a compartment because she knew how the good compartments always got taken very quickly.
It wasn't Cinna or Kace. "Oh, hey." Emmylou said somewhat awkwardly when she saw that it was Lux.

Puck was nervous, she needed to give her friends HUGS before she went into what was most likely going to be the war zone. TO THE TRENCHES right? As Emmylou watched Lux take a seat in front of her she heard another voice and an owl. This person's voice seemed a little nervous. Emmylou looked up toward the voice and saw Puck, a fellow Gryffindor that she knew but not that well and her owl. The fifth year blinked a few times when she heard Puck say the name of her owl. What kind of name was that? Emmylou knew that if she tried to say it that she would say it so wrong and just make it sound horrible. "We can watch your owl." Were they not allowed to have owls in the Prefects compartment? Emmylou didn't know too much about the Prefects, the blonde hadn't ever became a Prefect so she wouldn't know what it was like. She knew what they were at Hogwarts for and why they were selected but she just didn't know if they were allowed to have owls in their special compartment. "You'll be a great Prefect." She was friendlier than Alexa and that's what Emmylou liked about the Puck even though she didn't know her all that well.

Here she was though on the train going back to Hogwarts. So she was going now to find her friends. She clutched her bag full of sketch pads and pencils. She hasn't touched a sketch pad all summer but she kept it close. She peered into one of the compartments. Bam first one and Emmy was in she pulled the door open. "Hey, Em. You picked out a good compartment." flopped down on the other side of Emmy. That window seat was for Kace she knew that.
She really hoped that it wasn't going to be just her, Lux and the owl with the name that she couldn't pronounce. Where was Kace or Cinna? Just as she was thinking that Cinna had walked right into the compartment and sat next to her and it was on the correct side and not on Kace's side which was just what she wanted but the whole Lux sitting across from her or just being in the compartment was making things feel very awkward. "I think I did too." She was happy that she wasn't the only one that had really been happy with this compartment. Just Kace had to show up now because if he didn't then Emmylou would go looking for him to make sure that he was okay.

Emmylou blushed when Kace kissed her on the cheek and then her blush turned into a deeper pink color when he kissed her nose.

Fish boy was starting to get annoyed. Good, good. "Alright..." maybe his dad lied to him so he wouldn't feel compared to a fish. But it was inevitable. And as for his question/costume suggestion, "You should" mhmmm.
Hugo held a laugh, "Okaaaaay. No one will know your location" there, no need to worry amigo. Chill. Also, he shouldn't take it on the clown fish. What has he done to him? "Look on the bright side, no one will forget your name". Hugo looked at Nemo, "Sure, food is waiting." food = love. Random question time, "Do you have a girlfriend?" because teenagers like kissing and all that. Disgusting.
Nemo felt like this kid was getting under his skin and maybe was doing so on purpose. "Right." This was the best response this boy could hope for at the moment. He's lucky Nemo didn't become increasingly broody at the mention of his father.
The fifth year sighed again, looking at the pages of his book and then up at Hugo with as little interest in what he was saying as possible. "I guess, maybe i should thank the stupid little fish because he's made my name immortal." Scofffff! Nope, he was never thanking anyone for that film.

Okay... so maybe the question made him kinda mad.
Then there was a mention of food, sure whatever. Then....there.. there was a subject that made Nemo grin a little bit. "Yes, i do." He had a girlfriend, and she was pretty and French and clever and ugh. He wished she was going to Hogwarts with him.

But after awhile he did get bored. Where did his cousin get off to anyway? After a few more seconds he figured it was time to go have a look when, by crazy random happenstance, the very cousin happened to appear in the corridor.

Savannah finally entered the train as she made it through all the craziness of the crowd that was outside. Savannah was usually a calm person, but she didn't like being pushed and shoved by people trying to get onto the train. Shaking her head, Savannah walked down the corridor looking for her best friends and boyfriend Tobias. A few feet ahead she seen Tyler entering a compartment she quicken her pace to where she was behind him. "I'm right here Ty! "said Savannah as she walked into the compartment and sat down beside Tobias.
Savannah looked and seen that all that missing was Sophia which was weird, Sophia was never late, she started to get worried. "I haven't seen Sophy Hugglepuff, I haven't even seen her at the Platform, it's not like to be late."said Savannah honestly before sighing to herself. Resting her head on Tobias shoulder she worried about her little Hufflepuff friend hoping that she was ok. "I'm sure she's ok, if she ran into Kace or someone she knows she'll be ok!"said Savannah to herself. She was very protective of Sophia, she was like a little sister to her, she kept Sophia safe.
Sophia rushed through Kings Cross station up towards Platform nine and three quarters before she quickly ran into it. Hearing the train whistle, she sighed in relief that she made it on time, she was worried that she over slept. Giving her trunk and Polaris to the luggage man or whatever he was, Sophia stepped onto the train breathing hard. The little Hufflepuff was so out of breath that she was resting against the window. Deciding not to make the crowd any madder, Sophia looked for her best friends.
After walking to the middle of the train, Sophia looked into the compartments looking for her best friends. Saying sorry and hi to a few people she knew, she finally found all three of them. "Sorry I'm late, I guess I slept through my alarm or something, but I'm here now and sorry if I worried you guys! "said Sophia honestly but honestly. Sophia couldn't believe that she was late, she was usually the first one here, it wasn't like her to be late but she must have been really tired to sleep through her alarm. She knew that the four of them were worried about her, she was the smartest and youngest out of the gang, so they protected very well which she didn't mind.

Maybe she should get the healer to check it out when they got to Hogwarts. "Getting a prefect sounds like a good idea. You want me to come with you?" She was not just going to sit here for the whole train ride without doing something about her burned fingers. "It's not good to apply ice directly to burns, but cool water is good." What did he say about giant jelly slugs? "Giant jelly slug? I don't think that would help, but you have very creative ideas, Kyroh." Creative in a very, very good way. She liked his ideas, even if they weren't always good ones.

Dylan dragged his things along the corridor of the train with him, glancing in each compartment for one with room. A few of them were full but he found himself an empty one and made himself comfortable inside.
The fifth year sat there for a minute and then, when he got a bit bored, he took out his guitar. He was sure no one else could hear him from in here so why not? Smiling, he glanced out the window as he began to play.

What was Kyroh doing with her wand? Oh no, he was touching it! Fortunately it looked like it hadn't done anything to Kyroh. Maybe the wand didn't have any negative energy left to discharge after burning her, or maybe it was waiting to discharge more negative energy at some other random time. "It's not a bad wand, it just sometimes randomly discharges negative energy. Last time it happened I burned a hole in my robes. The wand maker at Ollivander's says that hazel wands absorb negative energy and randomly discharge it." So it was really more her fault than the wand's. She liked that Kyroh was trying his best to help her. "Ice might help. It's probably better than nothing... Any idea of where to get ice? Do you think we could try conjuring something?" Except her wand had been thrown to the other side of the compartment.
Prefects. She didn't know who the Ravenclaw prefects were, but there must be some prefects around. "I bet there are prefects in the prefect's compartment." That was a good place to look for prefects. Blowing on it. She hadn't thought of that. "I'm not sure if blowing on it would work, but we could try."
*Arms filled with sweets Noah went from compartment to compartment looking for some room. It became very clear very quickly that he would not be finding a compartment to himself. So far he hadn't even found one with a spare seat.*
"Just had to get sweets before you found a seat didn't you Noah Jack."
*He mumbled to himself as he passed another full compartment. You would think that the school could have sprung for more room on the train.*
