Yes, even house elves have a need to sleep. You'll find the elves catching a bit of shut-eye here in the house elf quarters. Some like to use the bunk beds lining the walls, while others prefer to make nests beds of their from random pillowcases, tea towels, potholders, bits of yarn, old lint, and the like.
If you tiptoe over to the fireplace in the corner, be sure to be quiet, as that's where Toddles, the baby elf, sleeps in an old cauldron still hung up over some long-dead embers. Shhhhhhh, the mischievous baby needs his rest!

Tippins was glads to helps but studenties wanted to knows which beds was Toddles, Tippin thoughts he want to his Tippin's beds, Nimma wont likes masters lookings at her thingys no.

Tippin askeds afters hes went overs to Puck "Mistress Puck, come see my beds" Tippin lefts the strangey groups as he stucks his hands out for nice mistress to takes. He has lots of treasturesss to show hers..
Toddles hears Nimma's names. Toddles turns little head towards Tippins. "Nimma's heres?" his brown eyes getting wide. Toddles loves Nimma yes Toddles does. Toddles sees master (Zander) asks Argyle. Toddles moves little feetsies and says to Argyle. "Toddles keeps candies safes. Yes Toddles does."
Toddles smiles towards master and goes to help studenties yes Toddles does. Even Toddles sees mistress (Puck) looks for candies. Toddles hides good yes Toddles does.
Puck grinned half heartedly to Kace, and made a face. He was asking if everything was alright and she had no idea what was going on in her confused head. It was like a tornado of this and that and everything in between. Her emotions were out of whack so out of whack that she nearly felt…jealous? Of what? A house elf? A person? But she shouldn’t have been…she didn’t want to be and so she just shrugged her shoulder and glanced over to Kace.
“I have no idea,” she admitted with a laugh. Leaning her head on her friend’s shoulder she just grinned. “its almost as if I’m jealous” she whispered and immediately threw herself into another sentence to throw off anyone. Really. This wasn’t gossip worthy. “Yeah but I mean some of the beds are just cloth nests – I want to give them something nice you know? Like…restart the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare” yes someone had been doing their studying.
When he asked about her taking a picture of Toddles’ bed she just grinned. “Come on its Toddle’s bed, he’s adorable and sleeps in a cauldron” she grinned. When Zander was brought up she just huffed slightly. CoPrefect hmmmph.
“Yeah he might be but he’ll get in trouble if he keeps this up” she muttered and turned her attention to the little voice near her.

Kace raised his eyebrows and asked quietly, "Jealous of who?" He locked his eyes on a certain gryffindor perfect and nodded his head towards him. "It is him?" he mouthed. He was impressed with Puck and he would be on board with her cause. "You can count me in. I will be a member of your Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare." It sounds like a good cause plus these little creatures were adorable.
He shrugged and he hoped Puck wouldn't get in trouble for taking a picture, I mean the headmistress was right there but she didn't seem to mind. "It doesn't look like a cauldron, it looks more like a basket.." he said examining his bed. Kace thinks Zander is looking in the wrong place. He thought he saw a wrapper way in the back of the room but he thought he saw something else. "Did you get your notes on this place yet?" he asked.

Okay, so what were they doing now? Still taking notes? Talking to the house elves? Either one? Kate had already said hello to the elves. Maybe she should just head on out and go take that shower. She doubted anybody liked the strong smell of vinegar lingering around anyway. "Hayden?" she said to her friend. "I think I'm going to head on out." Kate was sure she understood. You know, vinegar and all. Kate took a good look around then headed out the living quarters. She kind of thought this was the end of this tour anyway. It was pretty cool, discovering things and all.

Schmoop looked around making sure all was clean clean clean because big headmistress was here too. Schmoop did not want to be thought to only make cookies and not clean.

Awwwwwwww the elves. Annie had peeked around, though she had seen their sleeping quarters previously when she was first hired, and then stood back by the door to watch the students. What was that Gryffindor Zander Adair doing with all the bunk beds....?
She was pulled out of her musings by the little elves squeaking at her hip. "Oh no, darlings, Pips, Argyle," she smiled at them both sweetly. "I think we're good here and will be leaving shortly. Thank you all again SO much. We've gotten some great detail to add to our map." She patted the yellow notebook in her hand and then gestured for the students to follow her out the door.
"It's getting near curfew time, you all, let's wrap it up!" And with that, the Headmistress popped out to leave the House Elves in peace.

Puck was a little shocked okay there was a house elf that wanted to show her his bed? Now that was - weird but an adorable kind of weird? She tried to stifle a yawn and gave him a kind smile. "Of course," she nodded and took the little guy's hand. "I can only stay a little longer its nearly curfew," she told Tippin as really it felt late didn't it?
She did catch what Kace had been mouthing and frowned at him. "Its a friend thing not what you think at all...its weird and I said I wasn't." She informed him again a grin playing on her face as she waited for Tippin to show her his bed.

Totally normal.
Oh for fawkes sake it was really that late? No wonder she felt sleepy. Heck who knows if the house elves weren't there maybe she'd have taken a nap in their bunk beds.

At the mention of this Nimmas person, Zander tilted his head in confusion. Uh. What was a Nimma and why did it have anything to do with finding his Chocolate Frogs? The Gryffindor just furrowed his brows at Tippin before going back to the search. Had to have constant vigilance, you know?
And just Toddles scurried about to Zander's elf accomplice aka Argyle O____O it was time to go already!? B-but-but Zander had yet to find his chocolates!? BUT BUT HEADMISTRESS?? Did they have to go now??? He... He just wanted to get his frogs back and as Prefect wasn't he allowed to stay up past curfew anyways? Though he felt the need to argue this point, the woman had already made her way out of the room and SIGH.
Turning back to Toddles before he walked out, the Gryffindor narrowed his eyes a little. "This isn't over yet, Toddles. I'm going to find my frogs one day." And until then, he'd just have to pray that the elf wouldn't finish them all up. SIGH. Turning back to the younger students in the group, Zander gestured them to come follow. The Hufflepuffs could make it back to their common room by themselves, yeah? It wasn't too far away... "Uh, Ravenclaws can follow me back up to the towers... And uh, Hufflepuffs... Uh, follow Kace?" And Slytherins... Well, actually were there any of those in this group? Heh. Weird.
