Gryffindor Table

http://i491.photobucket.com/albums/r...psae534588.jpg

The Gryffindor table is exactly where you recall it being, albeit it looks a little nicer today. Instead of the odd mustard stain and carved name attempts, the table is covered in a gold colored table cloth. Down the center of the large table there are reproduced trophies and badges. While the trophies themselves don't have years listed, they do mention the type of trophies the house of Gryffindor has won over the years. Feel free to brag to those around you about any victories you helped secure. The badges are wearable too.

Come have a seat. Reminisce about the good old days or perhaps make a new business connection. Either way, be sure to have a good time and enjoy your time at your alma mater.

Christmas made her way over to the gryffindor table and took a seat she was not sure if she would see anybody she knew but it was worth coming to the reunion even if she was alone

Arabella-Marie made her way towards the gryffindor table and sat down she was missing qudditch practice for the reunion she had hoped that the short journey from skye was worth it

Simon would have to admit it was strange to be back. Back at Hogwarts where his schooling that led to where he was now began. Over ten years had passed since he had entered the Great Hall and aside from the special decorations no doubt for the evenings festivities, it looked like it hadn't changed a bit. He almost found himself wondering what his yearmate and fellow auror had felt the year before when Legend and Emily had come to arrest the former arithmacy professor.

But alas, dwelling on that was no fun.

Not when he was back home and Angelina was there at his side as guests together for the reunion. He wandered to the Gryffindor table almost out of habit, his gaze flashing around the immediate vicinity for any familiar faces in those already gathered in the festive Great Hall. "How does it feel?" he asked his girlfriend out of curiousity of another.

And a Hi to Simon

She just.. wasn't going to be able to answer him right away. Sure, it LOOKED like it would be enough, and yeah, it was probably safer if he did go get more, but she was just going to wait until she started to eat before making him do that. Who knew! Maybe she would start eating the carrots and decide that that wasn't even what she wanted. The pumpkins with the candles inside of them looked pretty good. But she probably couldn't eat them.

So, a SHRUG. And she stole a carrot off the plate to let him know she wasn't worried about it at all. Thankfully, it was still good. He should taste that other stuff on the plate, so he'd know, too. "The same elves! They've got to be uglier than usual then." What with their ugly skin and ugly big eyes and huge ugly ears all older now. "If you see one, you should ask it." That way, if they got offended or anything, it would be him they'd be mad at, not her.

As for where they should sit.. Destiny stole a quick glance around the great hall, making sure to scan the Slytherin table first, just in case anyone else she knew was there, but not seeing anyone, she headed for the Gryffindor table instead. When was the last time she sat there? Had she ever sat there before!? Hmm. "Remember that time you stole my wool bombs?" Being back at Hogwarts made her remember a lot of things.

"You can't just tell someone that they're ugly." Carter said. Although, he wasn't quite sure what the classification of house elves were. He supposed he knew it at one time, but he'd been out of school for ages now. "It's not nice and you don't want Connor running around saying things like that to anyone." Even if it kind of would be hilarious.

And he would ask how old they got. He was genuinely curious.

He followed her over to the Gryffindor table. "I do." he said with a smile. "Do you remember the time that we dated for a few months and had no idea how it happened?" he asked setting the food down on the table. He then held his hands out in case she needed any help maneuvering onto the seat.

While she was getting seated, he quickly scanned the table for a Gryffindor Quidditch Captain badge. There was a reason he wanted to sit here. He thought she'd be excited to wear it again. And, as much as he'd love to be tackled again, it would probably work better if he just pinned it on her himself.

He then glanced up and down the table to see who else was there already. "Hey Simon!" he greeted with a wave before taking his seat. He'd talk more with him in a bit.

But for now...

He got down on one knee and held out the badge. He then flashed his wife a side smile. Yes? Wear his badge?

Destiny 01-12-2015 07:50 AM

hi to Simon, too!

Whaaaaat!?

She wasn't actually going to tell anyone they were ugly! Even if that ugly anyone was a house elf. Merlin only knew what that thing would do, and she had seen the Hogwarts house elves before. She knew she had to wipe off any type of silverware they used before using it. Had Carter forgotten about the potato sacks that they wear? Because Destiny didn't. Those things were creepy. "No, I don't want him to run around saying that. But I don't want him walking into walls with a bucket over his head and he still does that." SO. So, that kid was going to do whatever he wanted to do. Whether she wanted him to or not. Just sayin'.

And she didn't think there was anything to smile about while talking about him stealing her wool bombs. Did he remember how he never gave them back? Did he even still have them!? Oh dear Merlin, why did he bring up THAT? Destiny stared at him.. then stared at him some more before settling herself down into a seat. She wouldn't have used his hands to help her down, but she kind of had to. Hmph. "You still never gave me that robot." That robot that he promised her!

Unless.. that didn't count anymore, since they weren't dating and were married instead.

Nah. It still counted. And she still wanted that robot.

Destiny let out a quiet little hmph before turning her head to wiggle her fingers at Simon, and if it had been last time, she would have burst into crazy tears when she turned back to Carter. And if this reunion would've have been just a few months before, she would've tackled him right to the ground. Was that THE badge? THE Quidditch badge!? HIS Quidditch badge!? Probably not, but it was just as shiny and she wanted it just as badly as the other one. She made no sounds, just grabby hands towards it. Duh. Of course she'd wear it!

“Heh.... cant believe how much I missed seeing that.”

Levi couldn’t peel his eyes off the bewitched ceiling of the Great Hall. As a cursebreaker tombraider glorified geologist he’s seen his fair share of jaw dropping cavernous halls, but Hogwarts—yeah it still has the magic. Literally too.

He gave a quick glance at the next tables over, trying to scan for certain faces. Was lil sis and big bro around already? Should he have owled them first that he was actually coming? Would they have believed him? Suffice it to say Levi liked to surprise them. Often with mixed results.

He plopped down at the Lions table and looked at present company. Dang not a familiar face in sight. Also they seem like children to him. Big children, but children nonetheless. It cant have been that long ago when he went hasta lavista to the castle.... what was 15 years right? Totally a breeze.

But hey he was here in the house of red and gold and it’s a feat in itself to find this table still standing, what with all the hooliganisms he remembered being done to it. Hey was his initials still here? And just when did Gryffindor get so fancy as to use tablecloths?

Tightly, was the best word to describe how Nessie hold onto her boyfriend's hand. It was her comfort at that current moment. The people were fine, not making her uneasy at all but she had a wave of overwhelming feelings washing over her brain and his hand helped in the same way her's usually helped Ethan's. She hoped that possibly hers was helping him in some way too. For one she had a huge feeling his grumpiness would be joining their evening. He'd never been an extrovert...although many of these people weren't just people, not even to him.

For his sake and slightly hers, the red head dragged him towards his house table before she even thought of heading to hers. "Gryffindor table, okay?" That was more of an indicator than a question. He'd hopefully feel more homey there and she didn't mind it either. Maybe she'd see Kurumi or Anya, or anyone. In fact she was even happy as she was, just as long as she wasn't utterly alone that would of bit at her thoughts.

She took a seat and scanned the table as she admired the gold. A lot more impressive than the last time she had been here, the time they had used plastic plates and cutlery. Now that was awful but an experience, nonetheless.

Hogwarts days, how did they end so soon?

It had certainly been a while. Orlando felt old. Eyes turning to the ceiling and then back at his former house table, he wondered it had really truly been that long. There were so many familiar faces all around him, he couldn't help but smile - recognizing them and waving at them. But mostly, his eyes were taking in the castle. It was like he hadn't left at all. Except they had, and everything had changed.

His fingers grazed over the table and he recalled the many times Katie had joined him and Legend for breakfast or lunch or dinner or just cause. A smile pulled at his lips and for the moment he was glad he could only recall the good memories. Katie and Legend were suppose to meet him here, and though he couldn't wait to see them back in this place again - he was glad to have these few moments alone. Nostalgia was hitting him with full force and it was nice to reminisce.

But even though he could only recall the nice memories, there were a few which just saddened him now. Just for a moment his eyes turned to the entrance and he wished Lexi would walk through. The letter felt heavy in his pocket and suddenly he wished Katie and Legend would come sooner.

When his eyes found the trophies placed on the table, Orlando walked over.

Addy had spotted this guy when he walked in... but decided to give a moment before approaching with a soft smile. "Orlando... it's nice to see you," she said before hokding her arms out. He had been Lexi's best friend and it was like... family here. Mhm.

Plus she was an emotional wreck seeing as she was expecting again... and she missed her cousin. HUG US ORLANDO!

Arabella-Marie felt out of place so many people who knew each other and yet she had yet to see any familiar faces to her but heck it was a reunion no harm in really getting to know other graduates

Orlando was grinning and actually feeling proud of being in the gryffindor house when he heard someone call his voice. He didn't immediately recognize it but the moment he saw her face, Orlando smiled. Addy. Lexi's cousin. The only relative he knew of hers.

"Hey you," he greeted back before hugging her. Pulling back, he looked at her head to toe. The last he had heard she had had a baby, but again? Orlando grinned. "You are looking good" He was as pleasant as he always was.

Being back.. was weird, truth be told. It had been a long, long time now since she had last seen the castle so up close, let alone been back inside of the Great Hall. The morning before boarding the train at the end of her seventh year, to be exact. What an eventful year that had been.. again, she wondered why she hadn't asked Garett to accompany her. Reunions never had been her thing, nor had they ever been necessary - her closest school friends, remained her closest friends to this day. But how could she miss out on a chance to walk the halls of Hogwarts one more time?

Though they had agreed to meet up at the Gryffindor table, where they had spent many, many meals together through six/seven years, the dark haired witch couldn't seem to help herself as her boot-clad feet led her toward the table of yellow and black, her own former house table. Hardly anyone had gathered there yet, so for a moment, the once tiny Hufflepuff let herself reminisce a bit before spotting a growing crowd at another's house table. Gryffindor hadn't changed much, had it? A small smile played on her lips.

It didn't take long at all for her to spot out one of her two dates, about mid-way down the table where, if not for the hundreds of Gryffindors after them, their bum-imprints would surely have been on the wooden bench. But no, the table saw many, many students each term - and no imprints to speak of, from what she could see. Coming up behind the much too tall former Gryffindor just as he released another former Hogwartian she didn't recognize from a hug, Katie casually slipped her hand onto his arm. "Well hello, Mister Renaldi." Her smile grew just a bit, dark eyes flickering up at her best friend. "Long time no see."

Now, where was that Auror? He was late.

"That's because I haven't found one that can take you into space." Nor had he been looking. "We did everything else though." he said recalling their old agreement. "The suit of armor tap dances, we have three old dogs, and I haven't questioned anything you've brought home." Including the augurey. That thing was horrible. He was glad it went crazy and they had to get rid of it. "I've never said that you had too many pets. We watch the muggle box together. And I'm fine with your irrational hatred toward house elves." The last one, he'd still tease her about. Forever. HAHAHA.

He grinned at the grabby hands. He gave her a quick kiss before pinning it to her dress. He was relieved she didn't tackle him again. That would have been embarrassing. And then he would have freaked out because she shouldn't be tackling people in her condition. THEN he would have freaked out again.

All in all, embarrassment avoided.

Minus the ridiculous grin he now sported. It was weird how happy it made him to see Destiny sporting a Gryffindor Quidditch Captain badge again. The same little thing that caused them such a headache in their seventh year. Turns out everyone was right. There was something between them.

"I love you." He said without thinking. And now he was sappy. Stupid badge.

He turned toward his food and took a bite of the potatoes. MMM POTATOES. That didn't change either. When he came across a carrot, he held the speared vegetable out to his wife.

"Remember the time that you wore those floats in History of Magic?" he said randomly.

Great. Now he was sappy AND nostalgic.

Addy happily hugged Orlando and smiled as she held his hands so she was looking at him at arms length. "Well you look lovely as well. It's been too long, you know." She gave him one last squeeze before letting him go.

Oh... one of his classmates had approached. Well... she nodded at the other person who had not bothered to address her and then looked back to Orlando. "We'll catch up soon. Don't let me interrupt." Although she wasn't the interrupting party.

Then with one last wave she turned and went in search of her hubby. She needed food for her BELLY.

The table decor caught his eye and he then noticed the trophies scattered down the length of the tablecloth-covered table. Sadly there was no quidditch one for his years as captain but he certainly remembered working hard to contribute to a Gryffindor House Cup win at least once. Madame Donovan had been pleased. Hearing his name, Simon turned in the direction it came from only to spot first Carter and then Destiny beside him. Put a check in the first person he knew he was planning in meeting up with at this event.

Other than Angelina of course.

"Hey guys," he greeted with a friendly smile, returning the former Slytherin's own finger waggle with a wave of his own. Was there something out of the ordinary with the woman? The auror noticed that something seemed different but he couldn't put his finger on it. Granted he hadn't seen the two of them in a while so he supposed he could be imagining things.

Something shiny rested on Destiny's dinosaur dress. "So that's where that badge wound up..." he mused in a half-teasing tone as he slowly approached the couple, spotting the makeshift Gryffindor quidditch badge pinned upon the non-lion.

Ringo 01-13-2015 01:38 AM

Anyone want to grab her? :)

Ronnie entered the Great Hall and she smiled at all the faces taking their seats at the tables. Her eyes then explored the place as she stood in front of the big doors...she remembered her first time walking through these doors, and being sorted into Gryffindor. That was ages ago... she sighed at the memory and made her way to the Lion table and took a seat, smiling at all the faces, recognizing a few.

itsjustjesse 01-13-2015 01:38 AM

Kyle made her way to the Gryffindor table and well...tried to find her brother. Seriously where was the guy? Instead, she just sent smiles to Orlando and Simon and EVERYONE that she had known and glanced around to see where Ed might be.

DaniDiNardo 01-13-2015 04:12 AM

Why would you go to a reunion after suffering through Hogwarts JUST last year? Honestly? She didn't know. It was Alice's idea for the most part and Cassia mentioned that she might go too so it wasn't likely she could have had other plans. Basically what her life had come to until Yati training started.

Still, it wasn't SO bad being back and sitting at the table she'd sat at every day earlier this year. It must have had something to do with the fact that she could leave whenever she wanted and wouldn't be forced up to the towers later on where she would have to force annoying younger kids to sleep. Yeah...that might have been it. The freedom gave the place its appeal that it had lost maybe three years ago for the now former Gryffindor so she didn't mind sitting at the table.

What she did mind was how long Alice was taking. Sure there were others Lex recognized but they were further down the table and she didn't feel like shouting. Maybe she'd just...look around at all the things she didn't miss...

orlando and katie and ANYONE ELSEE :D

Not just late, fashionably late.

If anyone in there right minds could believe that Legend Chosen understood anything about fashion. His attention was all on the ceiling as the Head Auror made his way into great hall, hands stuffed into his pocket.

His situation was kind of weird. He had only returned to Hogwarts last year upon the arrest of the Arithmancy Professor. But that was only one area of the castle. The great hall was completely different. It was a place where he visited every single day. It was special to him.

Man.

He had, eaten loads of good food here.

And had made some good friends.

And had gotten his first kiss.

And had gotten in a few fights.

And had lots SO many points.

The memories simply brought a smile to Legends face. It was cool to be back. But only for a while, it wasn't like Hogwarts was the same anymore. Hadley was gone and the only one here was crazy old'Bunz.

Appearing at the Gryffindor table, he pulled his hands from his pocket and spread them out wide. "Your King has arrived." Hogwarts King that is. Everyone knew it was true.

She had informed Party No. 1 about who her company was that day, but Alice had failed to let Party No. 2 know, and intelligently at that. Merlin knew Alexa Cambridge would have opted out of the reunion faster than she could say 'sorry'. And Merlin, was she going to go through pain for it now.

Her hand was in West's, not because she had suddenly become accustomed to public displays of affection, but because her shoes were difficult ones in which to walk a distance longer than one millimeter. At least for her, they were. This outfit was not her idea, let it be known. Word to the wise: never, EVER tell your girly-child-deprived grandmother where you were going. Ever.

Upon reaching the Gryffindor table, Alice settled into the seat beside Lex, not taking particular care to watch her dress. She had worn shorts underneath of it, so what did it matter?

"You look happy to be here."

Alice looked so beautiful, West was pretty much just quietly watching her. All eyes on the girlfriend, and kind of silently shell shocked that she was holding his hand.

She pretty much never did that.

Beautiful dress, actual shoes that weren't sneakers, and hand holding? Yeah West would pretty much go along with whatever she wanted because of those things, so what if that meant ending up at the Gryffindor table?

Of course he sat down on her other side, and tried to keep hold of her hand. He even spared a kind of absent looking smile for Alexa Cambridge before going back to admiring his girlfriend.

It was like he was imperiused or something.

Did that dude (Legend)...just show up proclaiming himself king? Lex almost snorted, in fact she almost did a lot of things, like pelt him to sit down and remind him he was ancient right about now and possibly forgotten by the actual Hogwarts populous but something else caught her attention and it had her twisting in her seat.

Alice Fischer was struggling--might not have been obvious but Lex knew her well enough and those were heels and the girl was holding hands. The struggle; it had to be real.

Lex watched her approach the table with the company she'd completely forgotten to mention she was coming with in a sort of stunned silence. Why stunned? Because there were no words that could accurately explain how she felt right about now. Yeah she read the memory book and sure it was childish and they'd both grown but she didn't think she'd have to prove her maturity this soon. Most people had like a year of growing up to proper do after graduating--a year he got and one she was only just starting. The adjustment period was in effect and she was still getting used to the idea that they weren't at odds with each other anymore so THANKS for mentioning he'd be hanging with them Alice, thanks a lot.

Forgetting all tables manners (what were those anyway?) Lex propped her elbow on the table, resting her cheek on her knuckles as she simply STARED. Happy. Happy? Good one Fischer.

After another moment, Lex simply shifted her gaze, landing on the Ravenclaw table--Vivi...Louisa...Odessa free. Clearly Lex was in the wrong spot.

..... really? Not a word? Nothing? Zilch?

Alice scrunched her nose a bit at the younger girl, fixing her with an unimpressed look. "Come on. He's not even talking." Even she had been less immature when Louisa had shown up at the train station too. Managed a few words, right? And then politely extracted herself from the scene. There was no need for the silent treatment, Merlin.

Her eyes flickered to West for a second, and..... was he okay? He looked funny. Food deprived, maybe, but he could fill his bottomless pit of a stomach; this was a meal hall.

And when she looked back at Lex? Eyeing the RAVENCLAW table? Ouch. That was low.

"Whole day tomorrow. You, me, no boys. Be civil." Deal?

“Legend Chosen as I live and breath” Kyle grinned and thrust her hand over her chest dramatically and of course she was joking. “Congratulations on the new title then…king? That’s a big deal…I’m sure Ed would be really saddened to not know of it sooner” Kyleigh smirked at her brother’s best friend.

She also sent grins toward Orlando and everyone else that she knew but, really, Legened was one funny guy right? Legend. King. Hah.

Cassie's wandering unsurprisingly led her to the Gryffindor table. Some of her favourite guy friends were from said house. There was Jai and Carter and Jo...no he wasn't but he was always around Carter so that made him an honourary member right?

A certain blond caught her eye and she snuck up behind him and would have poked him except she remembered to 'never sneak up on an auror'so she poked him.

"Legend Chosen, fancy seeing you here." She smiled at him and adjusted his collar.

There was also a wave for Carter and Destiny. She'd have to just wander over to them soon too.
