This corridor is located below the prefect bathroom and is on both sides of the castle on the fourth floor. There is a staircase which leads to the Fourth Floor balcony and one which connects students to the Library.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.

Which Gregoire didn't want to do. Then continuing the water flow in an area that the two others were by, but not on, the floor was covered in pure water.
Good, that part of his plan was a success. Now for his third and final part. Gregoire pointed at the water on the ground and said "Glacius!" The snake watched as the ground where the water was started to freeze in a matter of seconds! Now, the floor around Aegis and his wand was icy, and Agatha and the Gryffindor prefect couldn't get to him without having to cross the ice. This could either be his great escape chance and payback moment...
Or it could be just another slippery downfall.
Aegis took no time to stand on his feet while the floor around him became icy. He looked to Zander, and to Agatha once more for assistance while he quickly leaned down to grab his wand from the floor, but it was stuck. So he yanked harder and eventually the wand came loose from the ice. "I'm surrounded by Ice?" Aegis asked. Not because he wasn't certain what the slippery substance was, but because it seemed like a foolish attempt to keep him in his place. he jabbed his wand forward and cast "Expelliarmus!". The red stream of light shot from his wand and straight at Gregoire. Then Aegis Lowered his hands and darted at the Slytherin himself. Using the Ice for extra speed Aegis ran at, then slipped down and extended one leg out to trip the Frenchie up himself. It would wise to close the distance between them too.

Agatha was swung her bag over her shoulder again as she stood up and couldn't help but look back towards all that crazy noise again. She narrowed her eyes in thht direction and stayed in silence for a bit. "Did you hear that?"
No, he was absolutely sure that she didn't give those kinds of looks to other people. At least not the 'what-the-hell, Zander" look. That one was most definitely reserved for him. And then maybe some other people every once in a while, but mostly him. He was sure of it. She had looks for plenty of people. Like her 'i-hate-you-grayson-whitlock" one and the signature "this-class-is-dumb" eye roll. There were plenty of looks reserved for every occasion. And there was most definitely a look she gave him. Her comment though, that shut him up. And made his cheeks flush a brilliant shade of pink. Oops. "Oh, I-uh-didn't realize talking was a bad thing..." Still his cheeks were pink.
He watched carefully as she continued to search her bag and Merlin, girl's kept a lot of things. Zander's bag was always mostly empty. The only time he even carried it was to classes, actually because sometimes he had to carry around the Runes book. As if he actually had any of that stuff memorized. Ugh. OWLs. "Oh, I suppose you're right," except really, he doubted that anyone would take him more seriously than anyone else. Except for the new people because they all thought Prefect was some huge deal or something. But the people who knew him from before, well, they already knew how much of a complete incompetent fool he was so yup. So uh, being taken seriously wasn't probably true at all. Though, he wouldn't dream of telling that to this Slytherin. She already gave him enough looks. Taking the fliers from her hands, he glanced over it rather quickly, being too lazy to read through the whole thing, "What are these for, exactly?" He couldn't just put anything up on the notice board. Especially not just anything that Agatha Hapgood came up with.
And there she went looking around again? O____O But this time, he heard it too. "Yeah, what in Merlin's name is--"

And honestly, he was really nervous about this confrontation stuff because it normally wasn't his thing. But he knew he had to step in because Prefect. Ugh. "Stop!" He was referring to all the sliding and the spells and the fighting, obviously. And since they were both on the floor, Zander made a point to use his height as an advantage. Did he look scary from this angle? Please say yes. "What in Merlin's name is going on here?!" He was frustrated okay. There was already SO much anger bottled up after all the happenings with Bart and all the stupidity that ensued with having to search all over the castle to find his underwear and all the bloody horrible things that had happened thus far in the term.
Zander Adair was ready to act like a Prefect.
For quite possibly, the first time.

Oh, good Morgana, Zander didn't realise talking was a bad thing. Agatha stared at him with a 'really???' look before rolling her eyes and shaking her head. Wow, Zander. You never ceased to surprise her. "It is."
"Of course I'm right." Duh, Zander!! And he was asking what those were for. ......Didn't he know how to read? But she wouldn't say that out loud because he was doing her a favour. Agatha wasn't THAT bad. "These are my ballet lesson fliers. People need to know when and where to find me."
But then it happened. See, Agatha knew she wasn't crazy!! All of those whispers she could hear earlier were now yells that were echoing all over the corridor. And for Morgana's sake, it was flipping Aegis. Of course it was.
Said Gryffindor was looking at them for... what, help? Did he really think Agatha was going to go to his rescue? When he was being stupid and spying on them? Pffft. Yeah, right. And AS IF she believed that Gregoire kid was the only one spying on them. They were both on her bad books now.
The Slytherin watched all of the commotion without moving a muscle - only perhaps her eyebrows as she furrowed them - and when Zander stepped up and looked angry and all prefect-like there was a look of surprise on her face. Impressive. "Watch my fliers!!"Do NOT ruin them, Zander Adair, otherwise you will be in trouble, too.

Swish made the noise of Aegis completely missing Gregoire and sliding right past him. He should have though to make better aim when he slipped on the ice purposefully. Right anyways, maybe his spell made contact? The Gryffindor Boy finally came to a stop just before Agatha, and he gave her a Happy Grin. Before he could get up though, Zander the Prefect Lion loomed over him, and the French Slytherin. So Aegis cleared his throat and started to spin a tale to cover himself. "Zander, see I figured after a bit that I had forgotten to tell you where to find Agatha." he began, "So I went down after you, but by the time I reached you here. Agatha was with you." The blonde directed his hand towards the lovely Agatha before him. "I was going to apologize, but then I caught Gregoire here, with his Wand out, and pointed at you both. I wasn't going to let him hurt Agatha so I tried to stop him" Shift the blame, make Gregoire the stalker. "Then he began attacking me." He turned his head and glared angrily at the Beaten Snake.
The thing went flying out of his hands and landed on the ice...which was right behind where the Prefect (Zander) was now standing. Well, there was all this ice here, and it didn't seem to be doing much...so the Snake would have at least a little bit of fun with this. Quickly getting down on his stomach, the boy kicked off of the column on this side of the corridor. With outstretched arms the boy went underneath the Prefects legs and glided like a penguin towards his wand. Snatching it from the ground, Gregoire turned his body before his face slammed into the other wall.
Great...now this boy, Aegis, was ratting him out, and Agatha, was doing nothing about it. Well, that was typical Agatha for you right there. Not sticking up for her fellow Housemates. Even during the fight, Beverly stuck up for him a bit, which was shocking. Normally that girl was care free. Did he suddenly get a change in heart during that moment down there? Who knows.
Standing, he gave a death glare at Aegis, then directing his cold, piercing, icy blue eyes at the Prefect. Saying calmly and smoothly "I wasn't spying, I just didn't want to interrupt your obviously private conversation, which I didn't hear anything of because that one." He said pointing at the other Gryffindor. "Had his wand up to my back, and pressed up against the wall. Besides, he was the one doing 'recon'." Insert air quotes there. "If it wasn't already obvious, Aegis is obsédé with you Agatha. He probably thinks whatever's in that bag is for him." Turning his stare towards the other Slytherin.

Zander again, glanced down at the fliers. Ballet lessons, huh? Welp guess who would NOT be in attendance to those. Though he couldn't really deny her of putting them up in the Common Room... He was still pretty curious though, but obviously there were other matters far more important than inquiring about ballet lessons, so he'd save those questions for later. For now, the criminals. Or whatever they even were. Stalkers maybe? What even was the right terminology for--
And then Aegis went off and Zander hardly even payed attention to any words his fellow Gryffindor was saying. Did anyone here even realize how much he had gone through the past few days!? With Bart out to get him every minute of the day, he didn't need to be thrown into these situations as well. It was hard enough trying to dodge all those pranks and now this. He was annoyed. And Zander didn't even get annoyed normally SO THAT WAS SAYING SOMETHING.
And yes, yes he was GLARING AT BOTH OF THE BOYS. "I don't want to here excuses, I wasn't talking about why you two were here. I was referring to the ice. And the fighting." As if their alibi was even the most important thing going on. AND THEN THE SLYTHERIN WENT SLIDING BETWEEN HIS LEGS?!? ... Zander Adair was SO NOT amused right now. Turning to Agatha, he gave her a look that said 'you-watch-Aegis', even throwing a small nod towards the boy. Also completely ignoring the comment about the fliers-- because really, Agatha, that was your priority here??-- he simply held them out to her. "Hold these for a minute, please."Then, he turned on his heals and walked a few steps over to the wall that the Slytherin kid had so graciously crashed into.
Staring hard at the younger Slytherin Boy, Zander held out his hands. "Please, give me your wand." Though he said please, it didn't come out like a request. More like a demand. Luckily for this guy, the most that would happen here was that Zander would turn the wand in to the Head of House and the kid could go collect it himself. He wouldn't have even bothered with all this had the kid stopped when Zander had TOLD them to! Yet, the guy was STILL sliding around trying to get a leg up on Aegis and no. This would not float. The wand was obviously dangerous in the boy's hand because HE WAS STILL USING IT??
If he tried any other funny business, Zander would personally make sure that he never stepped another foot out of detention again. "If you hand it over now, the consequences won't be as severe, but if you hold off... I can--" He paused only the slightest bit allowing a little hesitation to break through his voice. No. He had to be firm. "I will personally make sure that you get into huge trouble."
As for Aegis, Zander would deal with him later. He was a FIFTH YEAR for Merlin's sake. Should know better than to provoke this guy, but as far as the Prefect knew.... Aegis hadn't done anything wrong... Other than fighting back, but again dealing with that later. The Slytherin kid was a more urgent situation as he was STILL being restless. Well well well, what did we have here? Peeves had been flying around trying to find some trouble and look it there trouble had found him. He always loved when the students made things easier for him. Swooping closer his cackles got louder and louder.

Zander again, glanced down at the fliers. Ballet lessons, huh? Welp guess who would NOT be in attendance to those. Though he couldn't really deny her of putting them up in the Common Room... He was still pretty curious though, but obviously there were other matters far more important than inquiring about ballet lessons, so he'd save those questions for later. For now, the criminals. Or whatever they even were. Stalkers maybe? What even was the right terminology for--
And then Aegis went off and Zander hardly even payed attention to any words his fellow Gryffindor was saying. Did anyone here even realize how much he had gone through the past few days!? With Bart out to get him every minute of the day, he didn't need to be thrown into these situations as well. It was hard enough trying to dodge all those pranks and now this. He was annoyed. And Zander didn't even get annoyed normally SO THAT WAS SAYING SOMETHING.
And yes, yes he was GLARING AT BOTH OF THE BOYS. "I don't want to here excuses, I wasn't talking about why you two were here. I was referring to the ice. And the fighting." As if their alibi was even the most important thing going on. AND THEN THE SLYTHERIN WENT SLIDING BETWEEN HIS LEGS?!? ... Zander Adair was SO NOT amused right now. Turning to Agatha, he gave her a look that said 'you-watch-Aegis', even throwing a small nod towards the boy. Also completely ignoring the comment about the fliers-- because really, Agatha, that was your priority here??-- he simply held them out to her. "Hold these for a minute, please."Then, he turned on his heals and walked a few steps over to the wall that the Slytherin kid had so graciously crashed into.
Staring hard at the younger Slytherin Boy, Zander held out his hands. "Please, give me your wand." Though he said please, it didn't come out like a request. More like a demand. Luckily for this guy, the most that would happen here was that Zander would turn the wand in to the Head of House and the kid could go collect it himself. He wouldn't have even bothered with all this had the kid stopped when Zander had TOLD them to! Yet, the guy was STILL sliding around trying to get a leg up on Aegis and no. This would not float. The wand was obviously dangerous in the boy's hand because HE WAS STILL USING IT??
If he tried any other funny business, Zander would personally make sure that he never stepped another foot out of detention again. "If you hand it over now, the consequences won't be as severe, but if you hold off... I can--" He paused only the slightest bit allowing a little hesitation to break through his voice. No. He had to be firm. "I will personally make sure that you get into huge trouble."
As for Aegis, Zander would deal with him later. He was a FIFTH YEAR for Merlin's sake. Should know better than to provoke this guy, but as far as the Prefect knew.... Aegis hadn't done anything wrong... Other than fighting back, but again dealing with that later. The Slytherin kid was a more urgent situation as he was STILL being restless. Agatha was SO unamused. But Gregoire sliding between Zander's legs almost made her snort. Almost. The Slytherin had a frown on her face as she looked down to Aegis and crossed her arms. Not funny, Dane. And that story... not funny eith-
Wait, Gregoire had his wand pointed at them??? Agatha shot her housemate a GLARE. "Why?" She narrowed her eyes at him, expecting an answer. If this had happened two years ago there wouldn't have been any questions from her, just a slap. Right in his face. But Agatha was almost an adult now, so she'd ask before doing anything else. But he'd better have a good enough reason, otherwise he'd get even more bloody than he already was.
Rude.
But whoa, what was going on with Zander? He suddenly looked so..... angry and determined and................. hot. WOW. Agatha watched him telling the other two off and even held her own fliers when he asked her to. Look at him holding out his hand to receive Gregoire's wand, saying the sentence in such a authoritarian way. WOOOOOOWWWWW. Agatha wanted to snog the prefect right there. She wouldn't, of course. Not when he was acting like that. She wanted to WATCH.
Wow. She was surprised. In a very good way. If only he acted like that all the time.
The girl turned her head when she heard a new voice joining them. Peeves yelling about students causing trouble. Agatha just stood there again, watching the Poltergeist try to get a professor's attention. She wasn't causing any trouble so she simply watched him. Actually, she hoped a professor would hear Peeves, because then Aegis and Gregoire could get into proper trouble and she could carry on with her business. Then Peeves started yelling that the prefect was also causing trouble with the others.
"That's not true." She stated with a neutral expression. She didn't sound like she was confronting the Poltergeist at all, because there was no passion in her words; it sounded more like she was stating an obvious fact, like 'the sky is blue'. It was clear that Zander wasn't causing trouble. He had finally manned up and was acting quite... impressively.
Good thing Agatha had self-control, otherwise she would've already snogged him.

Cilla was sitting on the floor with her back resting against the floor. She was trying to write a letter to her folks but was getting nowhere. It didn't help that she was worried about how they'd react to an owl delivering a letter. Her mum's nerves were nearly fractured when Cilla got her letter.

"My folks found out about the incident at the Start of Term feast and the House Meeting and they want me to go to a Muggle school. I didn't do anything and yet I feel I'm being punished!"

James stopped walking when he spotted Lux and she started talking what seemed to be a mile a minute to him but was probably just her usual self and him not listening because he heard the word Arithmancy. "I..um...sure?" He laughed and shifted his books looking for a spot to put them.

Lux was so happy that James agreed, that she gave him a hug. "Thank you!!" He was wonderful for helping her out in her hour of need and she didn't even mind that he asked what a Major Cycle was; honestly she would want to know in his place. "Ummm, there are three of them and they are basically a way to predict a person's life and I suppose their destiny. I know they each occur at a certain point and they each have a theme." But yeah... she didn't know too much about them.
Anyway... Getting out a piece of paper she wrote out his name on the top:

Laughing, Lux felt that James could never fail to amuse her. He should really be a comedian. "Well, we all know that it isn't necessarily accurate," she said with a smile even though she was aware that he was joking.
Of course he was good and gave her his birthday for formality sake. "Oh trust me, I know your birthday. You will be getting a present from me." Just seemed proper to inquire about it was all. Maybe she was being silly. No matter, and she quickly finished the work for him:
"I'd hope not. I'm way to awesome to die tomorrow," he said with a smirk as he watched her. "Not to mention way too handsome as well," James said laughing. He smiled as she laughed and picked up his books.
"Good. What you getting for me?" he smirked and gave her a wink. "Something Batman?" he said with a laugh and dropped his voice down to the gravelly voice. "Or chocolate. OR Marvel super heroes!" He said with a grin. Any of that would be awesome. Or books he liked books. Really he was easy to shop for. A shame no one else was.
He watched her and smiled, "You're welcome, Lux. But...well what does it mean?"

With a strand of red licorice hanging from his mouth, and Simon’s Cat Divination notes in both hands, Ethan walked the halls of Hogwarts without care, and chewed on the candy in his mouth. A part of him wanted to believe that cats can predict stuff, and the other half of him wants to ridicule it. The blond boy stopped in his tracks, looked around him, then back to Simon’s notes.
It was ridiculous, but interesting. The detective in him wanted to research more about the said Divination practice. Since he was alone in the corridor, he quickly got down on both knees and planted his forehead on the cold floor. “Hmm…interesting. I wonder why cats do this? I wonder what goes inside their brains…” he thought to himself and stayed in that position, trying to figure things out literally.

OOOOH prefect patrols. Definitely the most BORING part of this whole thing...but as long as Caleb had his notes and books with him so he could study for OWLs, it wasn't TOO bad. Today's subject was Charms. Not his worst subject by any means, but just focusing on his bad subjects for study time surely wouldn't do him any favors...EVERY subject had to get attention if he was going to pass!

Exhaustion was slowly claiming his senses, his chewing slowed down greatly...it was as if he was falling asleep in a very weird, and awkward position.
He was starting to picture lots of cats in his head when BAM! Heavy books fell on the ground, and caused a thunderous noise. “STORM!” Ethan jolted back up in a seating position, sending Simon’s notes flying in the air. The blond boy looked around blinking several times, his eyes slightly crossed eyed from the sudden change of position. “Wh...aa? Huh? Who’s there??!” Ethan quickly got up, collected Simon’s notes and repeatedly smacked the right side of his head. “Ugh...I don’t feel so good...who are yoooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...oh.”

Yep, he’s heard things about Caleb, and THE badge stuff, but Ethan shrugged it off. He didn’t make a big deal out of it since he didn’t feel like he was cut out for the job in the first place anyway. But there he was...Caleb. He knew that the term won’t be over without bumping into the guy...well...in an awkward positionsituation. “Hey mate!” Ethan shook off the uncomfortable feeling as he rushed towards his prefect and helped him with his things. “Don’t look at him...don’t look at him...don’t look at him...” he thought as he absentmindedly dropped his things again on the floor and picked it up again. “Y-yeah...yes I’m back. Stupid dragon pox is gone now...so...” DRATS. There’s nothing else to pick up on the floor! Eeeek.
