Food and Drink Buffet Made by Charely Potter Amidst the autumnal decor of glowing candles and illuminated pumpkins lay breadth of a great feast. Mouth watering aromas from hearty stews and savory dishes waft through the air, with glistening glasses of drinks perched along the sides of the buffet, an easy reach for those parched from all the catching up with former schoolmates. At the center of this spread is a majestic centerpiece of a cake, a sprawling replica of Hogwarts in spring, harking to the memories of their youth. SPOILER!!: Click for the food! |
So Here's Kirby right where he Belongs WAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Orsino Kirby Moved his Massive Muscles instantly over to the the Buffet...to scout out what was there to Feed himself with. Through Out the course of the Night...Oh wow look at the selection, and the CAKE!!! So Big! The Former Hufflepuff Groundkeeper Grabbed a Plate and did not care what he piled on top his plate... he took 3 of everything. Gotta keep the Energy up of course. He wondered if he could go right ahead and just bring in his Crates of Honey and just slam them onto the Table next to All the other things. Everyone loved Honey. |
Mentions of Kirby Annabelle Blanc waltzed elegantly and graciously over to the buffet table. The very lanky blonde clicked her heels, and crossed her one arm across her body as she looked at the large selection of food to eat. Everything seemed so good to eat, mainly the cake! It was just a marvel to look at! The cake looked like the castle. Which added a special touch to the reunion. With exquisite and dainty hands she grabbed a plate, and started to take only the healthiest looking foods. She definitely grabbed some of the Fennel salad. The former Ravenclaw also grabbed the Cornucopia Fruit Salad, and two Caprese skewers. Unlike the person next to her who seemed to be piling everything and anything onto his plate. What a pig. Annabelle thought to herself. After grabbing the food she wanted, she set the plate down on the table for a second. She started to rub her tired and aching plants. Well, that's what you get for making potions and collecting herbs all day long Annabelle. |
Kirby FOOD! The actual reason Nigel had shown up to this thing. It is not like it has been a while since he graduated. He would show up to mostly any event if they offered free food. It was the sad truth. Not like he would complain. He would be eating food and ignoring people talk. Though here was a different story. Wonder how many Professors would show up and classmates. Hopefully not parents. "Hey Kirby, is that some famous Kirby Honey" Some honey sounded good right now. |
Carrots. Carter needed carrots. He should have really made sure there was an abundance of carrots. He was on the Board of Governors! Secretary for that matter. He could have just slightly altered the menu to include 'Large and Easily Movable Tray of Carrots'. There were bound to be carrots here though. He looked around before finding a pot roast. COMPLETE WITH CARROTS! Score. He scooped out an entire section of it and then plopped it on his plate. That looked like enough carrots for now. He grabbed a drink and then started heading to the Gryffindor table. He then stopped in his tracks and looked around. Would Destiny have gone there or the Slytherin one? He looked around for her. |

Then he heard someone call him by Name. He turned there was a recognizable face. "Nigel Barrington!" he said Uproariously! "It is indeed. Freshly harvested. If you'd like some!" Taking the one he had in his hand. He unscrewed the Jar and poured the Golden Content on top of his Plate of random Foods. "I have about 2 Dozen more in this Bag if you'd like to help yourself!" He set the Jar down onto the Table, and then patted the Naps Sack letting the Jars make a clanking noise from within. |
Eugh. All these people were so loud. Why couldn't her husband skip his business trip this week? Why? The metamorphmagus was half-tempted to turn the two loud and obnoxious ones (Nigel and Kirby) into bees right here. Since they seemed to like honey so much. But she decided against it. That would be rude and uncivilized. Grant they were being rude and uncivilized by being so noisy, but still. Annabelle made a vow to not cast any spells against anyone tonight. Unless it was a dire emergency. In which case she could break said vow. After all, she was a Ravenclaw, not a Slytherin. She gazed at the selections of drinks. Peering at the lot of them, she chose the yellow one with an orange peel on the rim. Giving it a quick whirl, the former eagle took a sip of the drink. Mmmmmmm, it was delicious! If anyone would ask, she'd definitely recommend to try that one first. |

He knew for a fact there were Quidditch Captian's badges on the table that he was pretty sure she'd get a laugh out of. *Walking in Gabben looked around feeling beyond nervous. But did he show it? Nope, cool as a cucumber. It's not like the last reunion where he met and got together with his childhood crush who became his wife. Where was that wife now? Not his wife anymore. A part of him wished that he could visit his children Noah and Emma but he doubted that they were allowed in. Grabbing himself a drink he took a quick drink. It was so fruity looking... Please let there be fire whiskey. He thought to himself as he looked around.* |

Destiny stole a quick glance around the great hall, making sure to scan the Slytherin table first, just in case anyone else she knew was there, but not seeing anyone, she headed for the Gryffindor table instead. When was the last time she sat there? Had she ever sat there before!? Hmm. "Remember that time you stole my wool bombs?" Being back at Hogwarts made her remember a lot of things. |
FOOD!!! That's what Robert needed, lots of food. Was it really any surprise that he would be found at the Food table? He looked around for Elizabeth who he had lost on the way in since he came straight here. Oh well she'd find him. Grabbing a plate he started to pile on food on top of food. Surely it would fall over if he tried to walk to the table with it. |
Of course the first place they had to visit was the food table, because a certain person who shall remain nameless but was beside her and holding her hand was starving. Like always. Mia led her husband over to the table and scanned the contents for a moment before looking at Nikolai. "Please refrain from eating anything with garlic in it." It did tend to get a little offensive after a while. She then grinned devilishly at him. "And stop ogling me." She didn't really mean that. Mia loved it when her husband looked at her that way, it was why she picked this particular dress. Hehe. |

"And I'm going to have the same." As for leaving food for the rest of the people.. he didn't think that was going to be a problem at all. "What kind of drinks do you think they are?" Maybe he'd just stay thirsty. Couldn't talk too much when you were thirsty. |

To Hogwarts? He'd rather not. And he didn't think he had to say that to her. Having a seat, though.. that was something they could do. He just wished it didn't have to be at that table. He'd probably be up for another few drinks all night. He nodded his head and held out his arm for her to take. His hands were full. "You think you'll be doing any dancing tonight? Like at that costume party?" Bwaha. Did she even know he saw her!? |

"Take one, and share the other with Friends, Mr.Barrington."...Now what else was he to do? Oh right of course! Kirby took the remainder of his Jars of Honey and set them all up at the End of the Table. Making a nice pyramid display. Brilliant idea to send a Former Student out and about the Reunion with his Honey, so that he could also point them to the Display he put up at the Buffet Table. Advertise it Nigel Barrington. For Lauren and Whitney and anyone else, really "Can we stop at the buffet before mingling?" Christopher looked at Elise Not even waiting for her response though, he reached for her hand and sloooowly started making his way to the buffet. He wasn't dragging her, he was simply guiding her to where her heart really wanted to go. Whitney walked into the great hall and immediately felt the urge to tear up. SHE WAS BACK. Never in her life did she ever think she'd make it back to Hogwarts and yet here she was, in the one place she spent most of her time. She had argued with herself over and over again on reasons why she shouldn't attend the reunion, but after she'd convinced Andrew to take the kids tonight, and she found the perfect dress while window shopping one day, she figured it was a sign and she was MEANT to go. Now she'd just have to hope someone she knew was actually there. She'd lost touch with everyone she'd ever spoken to but that didn't mean she didn't want to see them here and now! Making her way to the buffet, as any smart person would do, she looked around for any familiar faces. None yet. |
Grabbed Whitney Just before Annabelle was about to make her way over to her former house table, she spotted a familiar face. Walking over to the woman she said "Why hello, Whitney. How have you been?" It's been to long since they've seen each other. More than ten years that's for sure. Even though the two of them were in different houses, they were still really close. Almost like sisters even. "I recommend getting this drink." Annabelle told her as she held up a yellow drink with an orange peel and a lime slice on the rim. "This is the one thing so far the house elves haven't messed up with." The past eagle joked around with a slight and subtle grin on her face. |
And there it was. The Great Hall. Rachel froze in place as memories flooded her brain. Slipping down the stairs almost every week during the winter, wolfing down breakfast in a hurry to get to Quidditch practice, and that feeling she got, almost like she was the mother of all who sat her table when she wore the badge. Rachel couldn't help a wry smile. How things have changed. The young sixteen year old who had worried about her OWLs would never have imagined she'd turn into a single mother of two down the road. Then again, she would have probably been super excited to find her older version made the study of magic her career. Ravenclaw through and through, after all. Blinking around at the sea of unfamiliar faces, the brunette steeled herself and made her way down the hall. The decision of whether to come or not had been a no brainer, she thought to herself as she gazed at the four tables. After all, this was Hogwarts, right? No matter what happened it was the place that had changed her life. Yet even as she looked up at the oh so achingly familiar house banners she couldn't help but visualise them... All four of them. He would have never missed an opportunity to come back to his favourite place in the world, she realised with a pang. Knowing her uncle, he'd have told his wife to go with her friends and asked her to go with him instead. Probably would have made some tactless comment about her exes. Perhaps she'd take a stroll around Hogsmeade after. Relive the happy moments. But, this wasn't why she was here. Not at all, not even a little bit. Rachel Rider hadn't dressed up and worn this tight dress thing for nothing. She had a mission and a very important one, at that. Producing a little camera from her clutch, she waved her wand in a complex little wave and watched as it soared up and away from her, clicking away on all its own. As it flew away through the doors of the Great Hall, she smiled. There. She's living up to her part of the plan. Who'd have thought the day would come when she'd be scheming and plotting with a fifteen year old who just happened to be her son's girlfriend? Life was crazy sometimes. Anyways. Now that that was done, she was starving. If there was one thing she could count on, it's that her old house mates and friends would all make it to the food table at one point or another. |
apple boy is freakin' out XD Food! According to Gerald Alexander Rush, a good event would serve very good and decent food. That's why the former Head Boy decided to visit the buffet and grabbing some food to be enjoyed. He still remembered how delicious the food that Hogwarts always served. They did have clam chowder, mac and cheese tartlets, fettucine, pot roast, lobster stew... but Gary did miss something at this buffet table. HOW COULD THEY DID NOT SERVE FRESH APPLES HERE? Yeah, he knew that they did serve candy apple and apple pie but they were not the SAME as the fresh and crisp apples. Ugh. SERIOUSLY! This wasn't fair! They did have veggies tray here but why did not they serve some fruits too? Especially apples. Apples were good, yo! Whatever. The blonde guy just grabbed some tartlets and clam chowder then. But still... No apples made this reunion had a bad grades in his eyes. |
