Not knowing exactly WHERE to plop his school robed self down, especially seeing as he felt little nostalgic pull towards the Gryffindor table right now, the Astronomy professor decided to venture towards the food area where there was already a crowd gathered. There were plenty of familiar faces, many of which he really did wish to get reacquainted with, but right now what he REALLY wanted to get acquainted with was a piece of that pumpkin chiffon pie...

Humbly elbowing his way through to grab a plate - and eyeing the HONEY on the table...and perhaps even giving it the stink eye - Airey grabbed himself a plate and a fork and proceeded to lean his bum against the table. Easy access to seconds should he wish. Only problem was that it was sort of hard to bend at the elbows and knees thanks to his unaltered robes from his school days, so eating his pie was proving to be difficult...and a bit messy.

The first and most important stop was, of course, the FOOD. And Hogwarts had always had magnificent food. So it was logical to find Sam Carter at the buffet. It just was one of those things. It was just another one of those things to see Sam loading his plate with a little (and not-so-little, in some cases) bites of everything. Except the veggies and salads. Nope, those didn't belong anywhere near his mouth, thanks.

While he was loading up his plate, he spotted another guy doing the same thing, then leaning against the table to eat. Not that Sam had a problem with that. Nope, what had grabbed his attention was that the guy seemed to be having problems moving his arms, thanks to the school robes. "Hey, bro need some help?" He may not know you, but he was here for ya, dude.

Kyleigh had to admit that the redhaired girl looked awfully familiar but she couldn’t put a finger on it really. She wasn’t saying anything though, not yet, because really there was just that gigantic chance that she had seen the girl at work? Right? Most of these people probably worked, like her, within the ministry…but then the girl said her name and asked if she was the pirate girl and she knew almost instantly how she had known her.

“Oh! You! I met you at the other reunion! When I went all arrrg at Salander,” Kyleigh chuckled and smiled at the girl. “It’s a pleasure to officially re-meet you than Emmaleigh” Kyle grinned, “and if you want you can call me Kyle or Ky” she grinned.

“Oh the hufflepuffs always seemed so nice,” she smiled, they had really, she just had spent more time milling about with Gryffindors and Ravenclaws as well, her brother had been a lion. “2075, Ravenclaw” She grinned at the slightly younger girl. “Really, had I been a bit more…outgoing back then I would have loved to have really met you” she admitted with a smile even if she would have been a younger friend she didn’t mind having younger friends really. She had been friendly with most of the younger claws after all.

“Is Sal here as well then?” She asked kindly, “wait…Emmaleigh I think I might have heard your name before at work…a coworker of mine saying he was heading out early to visit his friend Emmaleigh…would that have been you?” She asked cautiously and paused, “I work in the transportation department at the ministry if that clearafies anything” she admitted with a kind smile.

Schuyler was indeed getting herself one of the red drinks. It even matched her dress, you know. She stirred it a little bit with the plastic sword, even though it really probably didn't need to be stirred at all. It was then that she heard a voice addressing her. Oh, hello Penelope. She smiled. "Hey, Penelope. Your dress is lovely." Black was never out of style. 'How are you?' was more or less a loaded question these days. In the end, Schuyler scrunched her nose and shrugged a little bit. "I'm okay." She took a sip from her cocktail glass. "What about you?"

Cassia grinned right back at Theo because he was being cute as usual. Then he complemented her again and his words were music to her ears. She smiled sheepishly at him and was glad that her dress color choice, that matched his shirt's didn't come off as childish or cheesy. "You're not looking bad yourself, mister," She poked his arm gently with her finger.

She cast another look around before answering, "Not one bit," Everything looked like it always did. "Brings so many memories," Good and bad ones, but she didn't really remember that many bad ones. All the troubles and things that used to upset her back then were now unimportant. With her becoming the wise and older Cassia that she was. not really wise. COOKIE! Cassia's head turned to the crunching sound and grabbed a cookie for herself.

"Not yet but... OOH look there's Schuyler and Penelope," She WAVED At the two former Gryffindors. She'd not seen them in a while and they look good. Theo did know them, right ? Certainly.

And was that Professor Flamsteed? She squinted at the person eating the pie. What was he wearing? "Is that Professor Airey?" She asked Theo, subtly pointing to the man.

"I think I will allow you the honours Mophead....though I think Cam is already quite aware of the predicament she's in." Poor her. Rhea admired the woman though as it must take a whole lot to live with Oliver but she did it and she was surviving.

Oh gosh she loved Oliver. She did. He got a grateful smile as he wiped up the mess she made. And look, he did it without the usual jab at her or snide remarks about her clumsiness. She opened her mouth to comment on that but decided against it. Better not get him started.

"I am. I'm excited to see everyone. I mean I'm sorry Dylly isn't here but we can make the best of it. By the way I will out do you on the dance floor." Teehee.

Rhea laughed. "I'm sure we won't miss her. Is she pregnant?"

Angelica Hapgood Kirby regreted a little the fact she hadn't kept in touch with her classmates. Well, she regreted it now, since she couldn't see - or recognise - any of them. Did anyone from the class of 2063 even show up? She wasn't sure. But she was also not about to go around the entire Great Hall to try and find them.

Instead, she made her way not to the Ravenclaw table - that she'd visit later - but towards the buffet. House-elf food was the best she had ever eaten and there had been years since she last tried anything so good.

Was that her brother's honey over there? Already? Really, Orsino?? Angelica refrained herself from rolling her eyes, only because the honey was prety good, she had to admit. Before she could help herself to anything, she noticed what looked like an overgrown child in really tight Gryffindor robes. Sweet Merlin, Hogwarts was still the same. Raising a judging eyebrow at the man, Angelica had to keep watching the interaction between him and someone who was offering help. This might be entertaining.

After talking at the Slytherin table, Daichi decided to grab something to eat. His stomach growled at the smell of the delicious looking food and he was suddenly remembering the many days he spend eating dinner in the Great Hall. A small smile tucked on his lips as he checked the various types of food before deciding on a piece of Choco Sweet Potato-Cranberry Cake. He grabbed a plate and fork, placed a piece of the cake on it and turned around, leaning against the table.

He didn't really pay attention to his surroundings as he was eating his cake until he did and when he looked to his side he dropped his plate because someone stood next to him. Or ...had he stood next to the other person? he couldn't even remember! Waving his wand, the ex Slytherin non-verbally catched the plate with cake before it hit the ground and grabbed it. "You scared me, Professor!" yep, he was still as clumsy as ever.

Few things had changed. "Merlin, where IS everyone?" she asked when he came back, squinting around and taking her plate veeeeery carefully. No need to spill any sauce on her pretty dress or anything. Nope nope NOPE. Not happening.

Woe to the person nearest her.

Since Dora had done a relatively good job at keeping up with all her friends since graduation, she'd seen no point in coming to this event early. The fact that she came at all was just to be together with all her friends and maybe see one or two that she had been missing. She didn't give two sickles worth of a crap for the actual bloody school or stupid yearbook stuff.

Never had, never will.

But hey! Drinks. That was always a favorite of hers, and since a certain best friend had lost her mind and poured all their expensive beverages down the drain, this would be her first stop.

The former prefect made a beeline for the buffet, putting off greetings until she had a strong drink in her hands.

Whoa, Nigel had no idea what to say to that. She could smell the pickles that was in his hair. Seriously impressive. But right before he was about to compliment her impressive sniffing ability. She plucked some of his hair. She seriously took some of his hair. Was she going to make herself in a Nigel Barrington and have awesome hair. Nigel 2.0. Nigel mouth just dropped.

Stealing someone's hair should be a serious crime.
Yes, he conceded. But on the bright side he got more free food out of it. Free food was always a plus. "Yes Ma'am" Though as long as she just trimmed it. It should be fine, right.

Maybe he should ask Mo about this or West since he was here...somewhere

Now.. to politely vanish away from these older adults and look to see people his own age and graduating year. Or people he knew. There was Cassia, Theo, and Schuyler. Did the whole class show up to this. Though the one person he did not expect to see was his fellow Prefect for two terms. Nigel thought she would be traveling somewhere far away from this school.

"Look at these clothes, Dora. I am suffocating. I should have worn a suit."

Suits were still awesome. Flamsteed would agree.

Holy throwback. God, it's been years. Jimbo remembered the day he walked into the Great Hall and met Monty for the first time. Beautiful then, beautiful now. Monty was alright too.
He stood to admire the grandeur and breathe in the nostalgic value, when he also caught a whiff of something, let's be fair, way more important.
Eyes widening in excitement, he immediately slid toward the buffet table.
yes yes yes yes yes Hogwarts food OH HOW HE MISSED IT SO.
Way better than anything he could ever cook up himself, and boy he has tried.

Hm. Would it be a bad idea to start with a drink and some desert?
Screw it, he was here to have a good time.

Jimbo, as per his habits, grabbed a plate and piled it high with the most delectable looking dishes he could spot. To top it off, he carefully balanced a slice of cherry almond pie, and grabbed a green margarita with his free hand. Grinning widely, he felt himself immediately consumed by excitement for the food, and had pretty much blocked everything else out by then. He hadn't been able to eat this much food all at once in a while. His cooking is atrocious.

Balancing carefully and walking slow, he made his way over to the good old Slytherin table. Monty was supposed to be here, right?

"'Course you do, Nigel. And here I thought that was the point of the long hair and casual lack of clothing on stage, no?" He could always go the glitter and animal print route as West did.

He was glad his own son kept his clothes on most of the time.

Leon let the awkwardness slide. Easier not to call attention to it. She was an odd duck.



"My hair is fine, thank you, but I'll come over anyway." Should he invite Ascanius perhaps? Someone else for her to fuss over, feed, and apparently, groom.

And honestly, Leon would find it amusing to see his young flatmate have to put up with that. Free entertainment for this Odessa. Hell, why not rope all the kids in? Trick them into being fed. Might tide her empty nest syndrome over for a little while.

"You could bother mine and I can bother yours if you want. Just let me know." Change things up a bit. And he could maybe go glower at that fiance just for the fun of it since he actually had no problem with the boy whatsoever. More just to give Vivi a hard time really. More free entertainment.

A lot of his son's mates around and about actually. Theodore got a smile and a nod in return.

And another one. As much his son's friend as his flatmate's. Odd how things worked out. And Leon had his suspicions about what was going on there too, but he'd not ask. Small wave her way too.

... but now, back to the food. Hmmm. Another cookie.

It had been really tempting to dust off his old school robes and with a few handy spells made some adjustments for it to fit so he could wear it to the reunion. Leo had of course though forgotten that his robes were lying in chest in his parent's attic and had over the years been attacked by moths and the like.

So he had chosen to go for a navy coloured suit and tie for the festive evening. Following the appetizing smells over to the food and drink buffet Leo kept his eyes out for familiar faces. Maybe he'd run into some old student's or even old classmates that he hadn't seen in years.

Grabbing a fork, knife and plate he browsed the food selection with interest.

Don't let her lie to you, there was nothing little about that unborn fetus inside Alexis Chosen. But then, being six months pregnant would do that. Being six months pregnant would also, typically, lead you straight to the food as well. Or maybe that was just a Lex thing. Weren't they always around food, bringing it, or finding it at these events? Not that Savannah was complaining, resting a hand over her own slightly swollen belly.

At first glancing at the buffet line, ocean blue eyes gazed up to meet the green orbs of her best friend of waaaay too many years, and a smile of her own tugged at the corners of her lips. "Me here safely? It's you I'm worried about, nearly running down some recent graduate." The former Hufflepuff teased, smile only growing wider. "Poor kid will probably never attend another reunion again, out of fear the crazy Magpie's chaser might bring a broom with her next time and start whacking people out of the way." Rather, former Magpie's chaser, but that was besides the point really.

Nikolas slightly laughed at Jade's comment and he was not going to admit it to her BUT he did wanted Selena to come. It has been a long time since he last saw her. It wouldn't hurt anyone but you know....girls. Oh well.

Then, out of nowhere a familiar voice interrupted both. Nikolas turned around with a puzzled look and...it was Marie! A smile appeared on his face. "Well, well, well....look who's here! he was glad to see her and gave her a hug once Jade finished. Before he could ask how she had been, Jade throw a bomb. A big one. He felt awkward but kept it cool. "So you are dying to spent all your life with me?" said with a smirk and a wink. Hehe gotcha.

Deciding that perhaps the best way to eat his pie was to set it down on the table and push it towards the edge of the plate while he squatted in front of the table. Would he look ridiculous? Why yes, but that was also a sort of calling card anyway. Being ridiculous.

Since his trousers were from one of his suits, he was able to bend at the knees easily and began to shovel the pie into his mouth. Not the most comfortable of positions to eat in, but it was working. Didn't really have to bend his arms this way either...so it was working.

Glancing up when he heard someone speak to him, he grinned with a thin cream mustache thanks to his unique feeding technique. "If you could conjure a stool...that would be stellar," he nodded. Since the guy had asked.

Your magic has matured, I see."

It was good to hear that Christmas was doing fine. At least one of them was. "I've been alright," she replied with a shrug. "What've you been doing since graduation?"

Ohh, those drinks Schuyler was choosing from looked nice. Penelope hadn't noticed them at first, getting distracted by the loads of food options immediately, but now that she was here, she was definitely grabbing one. At least these were pretty easy to decide between.

"Thanks," she replied, managing a small smile as she grabbed a yellow drink. "I like yours too." Schuyler always seemed to dress great though, so that wasn't surprising. And the 'I'm okay' part, Penelope definitely understood that. "Same," she replied with a shrug of her own. But she didn't want to elaborate on that, and probably neither did Schuyler, so she'd try to change the subject. "Lotsa food here, yeah? Decided on anything to eat?" Maybe it'd help Penelope narrow down her choices if she had.

Christmas smiled at Penelope and said "I have been playing qudditch with the Appleby Arrows reserves since i graduated Penelope, what about yourself what have you been doing?"

He looked fine AND he was laughing and Elise was going to stop now before she started overthinking and ruined the whole night for both of them. "I'll be right back."

She didn't really get to Nigel in the end, though, because there was Mo's mum and all the mad relatives and Elise honestly didn't want that drama. Did they just pluck Nigel's glorious hair? NO WAY was anyone coming even remotely near her hair.

So it turned out she wasn't leaving anyway. Nope. Instead, she may or may not have dragged Chris to see a different Ravenclaw. Please don't drop your food, Stylinson. She didn't particularly want to take her wand out of its holster.



Oh, look! There was Elliot no-longer-Morganzo. Elise hadn't really met her husband so it wasn't exactly something she wanted to spend time remembering unless he planned on being a part of her life. Nope. She was just not going to waste her headspace.

"Hey, guys," she said, smiling brightly at them. Hopefully that put Elliot in a slightly better mood because after spending seven years in a dorm with her, Elise knew very well that a moody Elliot was definitely not healthy for anyone in the vicinity. It was a Ravenclaw thing, you know? Too many emotions. The sorting hat might as well include that in his song. Ravenclaw treasures knowledge, wit and DRAMA.



Who on Earth was that in school robes and why did he look so familiar? MERLIN, it was like she'd watched him in a classroom for years. It might have taken a few minutes, but it eventually dawned on her that she had. She took Astronomy. This was Burbage's replacement. SWEET CIRCE.

"Professor Flamsteed!" HI. Cue waving.

Looking down, Daichi couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the Professor squatting down in front of the table. He had almost forgotten how odd yet brilliant he was. "You too...ehm, if you don't mind me asking, what are you doing down there?" he asked as he watched the man get up

Non verbal magic? He looked at his half eaten cake and chuckled. "Yeah well, now that i can actually use magic outside of the castle and not having to worry about the law coming after me, it has been alot more easier to practise" he laughed and ate the last piece of the cake and looked around the room with a small smile.

"It feels good being back again" he said to no one in particular before he turned back to look at the Astronomy Professor. "How have you been, Sir?" or was he supposed to call him Airey now?

Theodore popped a tiny kiss on the end of Cassia's nose. "Why, thank you." He knew anyway, but it was nice to be told. But despite her previous comment, he did decide to ditch the waistcoat. He folded it carefully and placed it on the back of a chair. It'd be just fiiiiiine.

"Yeah... it does..." He paused, smiling to himself. "Like Buttress and Catty... super spies of Hogwarts!" Ha! Proper kids they were, but it was actually a super fun time. "I wonder what we could investigate on a night like tonight." Theodore rubbed his hands together. Muahahaha, yes, he was serious.

He automatically followed Cassia's waving and waved as well, to whoever. Well, he stopped at Schuyler. Penelope, sure. Where were HIS friends, though?

"Wow..." Flamsteed. Dressed as a student. Theo almost choked on his cookie. "Props to the guy - that's one hella good idea for a school reunion." Even if he was like, 50 years old, Flamsteed had pulled it off. Suddenly feeling overwhelmed with Gryffindors, Theo finished the last of his cookie and linked his arm with Cassia's, dragging her towards the dance floor. "Come on, we never got a chance to be a couple at Hogwarts. Dance with me." He grinned.

Be warned, Hogwarts, Amy was HERE.

Signature satisfied smirk in place and an arm that was wrapped around her handsome hubby's arm, the former Slytherin waltzed her way towards the food and drink buffet. She didn't care if it was true or not but to her, it as as if there was a spotlight shining on her and the Frenchie she was with and they were the highlight of the event. Obviously.

There was some finger wiggling to familiars and smiling happening.

So the food? Not bad looking. The woman was actually impressed for once in her life. "See anything you like? I certainly do." And she wasn't looking at the food any longer. Wink.

"So what do you think of this place, babe?" His opinion mattered to her and she only hoped he had some nice things to say. This place had been her school for a little while where she spent more time hanging out with the animals and flirting to her heart's desire. Good times.

His wife looked absolutely fabulous and he couldn't resist but to think of how anbody would wish to be her, or him as he was the one right beside her and she the one beside him. It would be a win, win situation to be either of them, really-or so he thought with his full-of-himself mind.

Dartanian followed his wife as she waved to the odd face here and there. When they reached the food, he observed, only to look up at Amy a moment later when she had spoken.

Grin. Smirk. Smirk.

His wife was always on point. "Like? I em not zo zure," he began to tease in his heavy French accent."...but love. I zee won bootifool zing in front of me." He knew how to flirt back, alright. He believed he was the professional of all them men. How else had he won Amy?

At her question, he gazed at the English people. It was not France or Beauxbatons but if it had an Amy involved, it was already better in his eyes.
"I em zure you made it zo emezing zey wished zey cood elweyz keep you 'ere." A wink followed.

Oliver smirked. Banter banter banter. He appreciated that Rhea always went along with his.. stupidity. “And she's stayed with me since school. I must be doing sommmething right, RheaRhea.” And c'mon! Cameron was equally as crazy as Oliver. Her nickname at school had been Crazy!Cammy for Merlin's sake.. and that wasn't even one of Oliver's.

He wiggled his eyebrows. “What would you do without me, hmmmmm?” Clumsy mare.

*snort* Oliver wanted to make a very inappropriate comment about Dylan and the doors that led into the Great Hall, but he refrained.. somehow. Maybe this was growing up.. The best of it. Ch'yeah, right. “You have ME for a date. This is the best night of your life.” ..Um.. no. “That's it. We're having a dance off.” And Oliver would outdoo Ms Outdoo here.

What? WHO? OHH.. Lorelaiii.. “I have no clue. I haven't seen her in forever.” But.. “She's like a queen ant though. When is she ever not.. not pregnant?”
