Divination Lesson One Professor Cassie's style seems to be fully back in motion this term as you can tell by the pinks and reds of the room. There are two chairs to one table and enough tables and chairs for all students. Something that you might find different about the room is the many cats roaming the room. In the front of the room is the usual blackboard, teacher chair, and desk with tea and tea cups for anyone who would like a cup. To everyone's surprise, or not, the wonderful snap cup has returned and is sitting on a table with a sign. You will find Professor Cassie's own cats hanging out up front with cute little yellow bows near their ears as well as a very sunny looking Professor Cassie sipping her tea. Quote:

ONE OF EDEN'S FAVORITESTTT CLASSES EVEEEERRRR! The brunette practically RACED here from the library--where she had been juuuust before this--and her forehead was a TAD sweaty from the vigorous pace of her....running. And stairs...lots of stairs. But that was good for the thighs--and yeah! Eden was trying to watch her weight a bit right now anyways. She'd EVEN skipped breakfast. DASHING into the room--Eden almost didn't notice the KITTEHS everywhere--but--WHOA! KITTENS! CATS! ANIMALS! THINGS THAT WEREN'T HUMANS! OMMMGG.She wanted to pet them--but as soon as she stooped to DO so--she saw the little sign--and she STOPPED. Whew? But she craaaaved PETTING THEM SO BADLY. However, she just went to write her snap cup entry before dropping it into the cup, her blue eyes searching for one of her favorite professors--PROFESSOR MORGAN!? hallllOOOOOO? SPOILER!!: Snap Cup Entry "Professor Morgan!" she said quite cheerfully, smiling and waving. |
It was time for the greatest and most amazing class in the world! Divinations! Man doesn't Emmylou love Divinations. To her Divinations is a really fun class and she would never want for it to end, never! The fifth year walked into the classroom and saw that there were cats in the room. She herself was not a cat person but some of them were adorable not all sadly. "Hello Professor." She said in a cheery voice and smiled brightly. Emmylou took a seat and wrote down her proud moment of the day. |
Divination time was snap cup time. It used to be SO much easier to come up with things to write. Ruby did come up with something though in her usual back to front and misspelled glory. SPOILER!!: snap cup time, and barely readable and all There! She sat down and immediately began examining the tarot nail art adorning her fingernails. Not that she knew what they'd be doing today but like, why not play to a theme, right? |
It was time for Divination, and Lux was looking forward to it because the lessons were always fun and Professor Cassie was super nice and awesome. OH, HELLO CATS!!! Squealing, Lux wanted to pet the little kitties and it wasn't as if she was ignoring the Professor, but CATS. Hehehe. After a moment she remembered herself, however. "Hello, Professor Cassie." Ignoring Emmy, the redhead waved at Eden and took a seat before setting her cat, Arya on the desk and writing down her snap cup moment: Quote:

Kace made his way up to the Divination Tower. After doing surprisingly well in his OWL, this was becoming one of his favorite subjects. I mean he did well because Professor Cassie made this subject fun and interesting. All props to the teacher really. As he made his way into the classroom he noticed Emmy was in here. He grinned and went over to sit down with her. He realized the professor had a snaps cup and he chuckled and took out his quill and began to write what he was happy about. He began to scribble.... Divinations. It was like Arithmancy, but with less numbers. Astronomy but with less space. Potions but with less potions. Care of Magical Creatures but with less-- Actually, there were a lot of creatures in this classroom today. Well, a lot of cats, which were technically creatures. So yeah, lots of creatures. Hm. Weird. Hopefully they wouldn't have to try to talk to the cats or read their oras or something because unfortunately, this Gryffindor was more of a dog person. Also a cruppy person, but... irrelevant. ANYWAYS, as he walked into the room, he made sure to stop by a particularly sunny looking Professor Morgan??? Take it she had fully recovered from her evil doing days then... "Hi, Professor... You look, erm, rather bright today," was that even a good way of describing it??? But ahem. Anyways. Snap cup. He had almost forgotten this bit. Right. SPOILER!!: Snaaaaap snappp snaaaapp Okay, so it wasn't exactly a proud moment. But it needed to be shared. Though hopefully the second part would make up for the lack of proud? Well... Couldn't he technically be proud about getting a crup? Ahum, again... Irrelevant. |
Domino walked into the classroom and looked to the black board. Okay....she got a papper and quill and wrote down stuff. She didn't notice the professor yet though. So she grabbed a piece of papper and quill and stuff. She wrote down a proud of sentence. Quote:
Then she sat down and smilled at all the cats. |
Bleu walked into the classroom. She noticed that the snap cup was waiting. What was she proud of today? She pondered for a moment before she wrote something down, folded it up and placed in the cup with the rest of the entries. Quote:

Here to help. Ahem This....was an interesting set up, definitely not how he remembered it being when he went here. Though could he say he remembered much from a subject he usually slept through? Probably not. Anywho, Maddox sauntered into the room on all fours, tail swishing leisurely and bright yellow eyes taking in the students who'd already arrived as well as the MANY other cats present. Oh wow, just wow. As was discussed, he made his way to Cassie's desk pouncing and landing lightly. This was a good safe distance. He didn't want to be taken for the other cats in the room because the man...er...cat...was acutely aware of what happened to felines in the hands of some of these children. There. He was present for this little demonstration. |
Cats. Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaats. CATS. Toby DID have a cat. Of course he did, and he was bringing him along today, as the notice board had said. Bludger, who'd been in his life since Toby was twelve years old, was a blue-eyed black cat who had a tendency to live up to his name. Climbing the ladder to the classroom while carrying him AND his school bag was kind of tricky, and Bludger was really digging those claws in. But Toby was good at keeping his composure and was very patient with all his animals, so soon he emerged into the characteristically pink classroom. Toby had skipped out on the silly slippers thing, owing to the fact that he didn't OWN any silly slippers, so was in his proper uniform. Still holding onto Bludger with one arm, he headed to the snap cup to write down his proud moment and add it before going off to take a seat. Quote:
Instead, the Hufflepuff sat and focused his attention on Bludger. Which... was wise, as if he got distracted for even a second... well... Bludger could be unpredictable, okay? "Hi Professor," the sixth year finally greeted Professor Morgan, sparing one hand for the moment to give her a wave. |
Cinna was so ready for divination. Finally a class that she liked and was actually good at. It was her favorite too. Lucky for her, her common room was close the tower. So she was there in no time. She headed up the trapdoor with pair of orange fluffy slippers. And a big orange fluffy cat at her heels. "Ugh. Come on Merlin. We're almost there." She sighed. Laziest cat ever. She picked him up and walked into the classroom. Fluffy hairball tucked under her arm. "Hello, Professor Cassie. How are you doing?" And of course snap cup time. Merlin still tucked under her arm, she wrote on the slip and put it in the cup SPOILER!!: snap cup Heading over to Zander. "Hey, Zander. I'm sitting with her, okay?" Not taking no for a answer. Yep she was sitting with him. She knew he always needs help in divination. So here she was. She sat the cat down on top of the desk and flopped into the seat. |
Cats cats cats, what's with all the cat's??? First in charms and now this class? Domino glanced over at the cat on the professor's desk. He looked a bit familliar....no. Really? He's joining this lesson too? Oh boy. This should be interesting. Sorry professor that I froze the spider jar. |
Norah stepped one foot into the Divination classroom and felt her jaw DROP as she began to SQUEAL. KITTIES. THERE WERE KITTIES. She had pouted a bunch after seeing the notice board, 'cause she wasn't allowed to have a cat yet, but they were EVERYWHERE. ASDFGHJK;L. The third year bounced and skipped towards Professor Morgan and wished her a bright "Hello!" as she came to a flouncy halt in front of the snap cup. Pulling a quill from her bag, she leaned over and wrote, Quote:
Once she reached a seat, the third year sat down and wriggled with anticipation for when she would get to pet one. A cat. She wanted one. She wanted snuggles, ok, SNUGGLEEEES. As she pulled out note taking materials to get ready for the lesson to start, she felt the little nudge-y feeling of a kitty nose on her ankle. THE CAT, it was THERE, rubbing its head on her legs. The third year sat on her hands to keep from reaching down and petting it. She wanted to pet it so badly. So so so badly she felt like she was going to EXPLODE. Her knees went all bouncy with the anticipation. COULD CLASS START SO SHE COULD PET THEM PLEASE? |
Zhenya made her way up to Divination, and was very excited to be there. She walked in and looked aroung the classroom, then made her way up to the professor. "Hi Professor Cassie. How are you? I hope you had a good summer." She made her way to the Snap cup and put her paper in, which read; Quote:

He had never been up to the Divination tower before, but it wasn't exactly a fun path to traverse (especially in slippers). Dima was PANTING by the time he had arrived there. ... and why did this lady like cats so much? After the Charms lesson, Dima couldn't exactly say he was fond of those. Heading to a seat at the same table as some Gryffindor (Zander), he turned his attention to the board. Snap cup? What was a snap cup? He didn't know, but it seemed to be the contained in which everyone was dropping their slips. So he got a scrap of parchment for himself, took up a quill, and wrote the following: Quote:

Divination was far from Brooklyn’s favorite class. For many reasons, and she’d contemplated just not showing up. Except for one little detail about the lesson. She was allowed to bring Tywin, which was possibly the only reason she’d bothered to climb all the stairs and everything to get up to the entirely too pink and cheery tower room. She’d survive for that reason. She’d survive one lesson for her cat. The cat in question was currently perched on the second year’s slender shoulder, Bengal markings half blending in with her hair, as she’d warily made her way into the classroom. He’d jumped down onto one of the tables as she’d stopped, however, taking a regal seat as he eyed all the cats roaming around. Brooklyn had eyed the sign at the front of the room, and then dug around in her bag for a scrap of paper. Quote:

Cilla walked into the classroom and melted at the sight of the many cats making their way around the room. After saying, "Hello, Professor Morgan," to the Divination professor she sat down at a desk and wrote on a spare piece of parchment. Quote:
|
Angel walked into the classroom and smiled. "Good day Professor Morgan, I hope you had a pleasant summer." Angel suddenly saw the snap cup which she thought was broken but maybe it was a new one... she wasn't sure at all, taking out a quill she wrote on a piece of spare parchment. Quote:

EVERYTHING WAS PINK AND WONDERFUL! *________* Maggie LOVED Divination okay? Yes. Definitely. It was the COOLEST class evaaarrrr. So she had a biiiiig smile on her lips as she walked into the classroom. "Hello Professorrrr!" HELLO YES HIIIII!!!! Oooh and the snap cup was still there. YAY! She quickly scribbled (not really, she took her time to make it look pretty and stuff) something on a piece of parchment and dropped it in the cup. Quote:

Margo brought Hera, her little white kitten with blue eyes to class with her. She LOVED!!! that she could bring her. It was going to be a great day if she could spend the whole day with Hera! Smiling she bounced in ready to embrace another day. Settling herself down in a desk and placing Hera on top, Margo was prepared to write her proudest moment of the day...which was.....ummmm....... Quote:

Entering the classroom Hady greeted the Professor right away with a warm smile. "Hello, Professor Morgan. Thank you for allowing us to bring out cats to class today I'm sure this is going to be a fun lesson." She was sure it would be and if not fun at least interesting. Cause animals in the classroom had to be something good right? Right? Making her way further into the room she spotted the snap cup and made her way towards it pulling her quill from her bag as she did. Taking up a slip of paper she jotted down quickly... Quote:
Now to find a seat. Scanning the room she made her way to an empty table but not before greeting the black cat sat up on a desk. "Hello Professor Quigley." It would've been rude not to say anything when she knew it was him. Slipping into her seat she set her bag at her feet and placed her tea cup on her desk. It was then after she was all settled did she gently nudge the small sleeping ball of fur in her pocket. With a small mew Hagan poked his head out and nuzzled her hand. |
Adi was in a better mood today thanks to another bro talk with Benny. Sure he wasn't his usual self but it was an improvement considering his mood over the past few days. He entered the Divination room for another lesson, his eyes instantly falling on the cats with the yellow bows. "Hi, Professor Cassie,'' the Puffer greeted with a tiny smile. "Are the cats Hufflepuffs too?" At the moment he was asking that, he dropped his parchment into the snap cup: Quote:
Adi paused when he reached Margo. "Hey, little sis. What's his or her name?'' He reached out to pet the kitten while subtly dropping a keychain at the side of her bag. The bag hid his intention. Mission accomplished. Noticing Angel not far off, the Hufflepuff took a seat next to her. "Hi,'' he said to his other little sister. |
Quote:
"Everything alright with you?" Margo asked, doing her best not to pry to much with everything that was going on. |
Cats. In Divination? What the? Zeke still wasn't convinced he NEEDED the subject, but it was easy enough to make up as he went, so he would take it simply for the scores it gave him. But THIS... this was a little weird. What were they studying? CAT-omancy? HAHAHAHA... yeah, no, weird. Offering Professor Cassie a "Hellloooo," he bypassed the teas and the cats with ribbons and such... ew... and made a bee-line to a spare table, claiming one of the chairs and placing his bag at his feet. Snap cup too? ... WHAT was he supposed to snap cup about? On his strip of parchment he quickly scrawled a true message. SPOILER!!: Snapcupppin! It was a small achievement in the eyes of most, but without breathing you'd be an inferi, and that was no way to live. Zeke left his seat only to add it to the snap cup, then returned promptly and passed the time by looking at all the CATS. Gosh. So many. |
