The sponsored trip is a weeklong exploration and uncovering of the mysteries of our own backyard. Join us at a loch in the Scottish highlands for an exciting adventure/summer field trip. Do you have what it takes to uncover the potential secrets hidden beneath the surface of a loch, together with some of the school staff and your student peers? If you feel daring, excited to explore, or just eager to spend a week with your friends, you should sign up for what will hopefully be a fun, action-packed summer trip.

The planned field trip is tentatively scheduled to leave the Hogsmeade Station of Hogsmeade Village, Scotland at 9:00 AM, JULY 1st 2086 and return to Hogsmeade Station of Hogsmeade Village, Scotland at approximately 5:00 PM, JULY 8th 2086. A letter will be sent to parents/guardians if a decision has been made to arrive or dismiss students to parents/guardians at an alternative location.
I understand that all students participating in this trip will be responsible in conduct to the teachers and adult sponsors at all time. I further understand that students are required to go and return from this event on the transportation provided, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Authorization to treat a minor: In the event that I cannot be reached in an emergency, I hereby give permission to the physician selected by the school staff to secure proper treatment for my child.
I understand that the Hogwarts' Board of Governors provide up to 50 percent financial compensation for this trip with the provision that all persons making a field trip or excursion of their own choosing shall be deemed to have waived all claims against the Board or the School for injury, accident, illness or death occurring during or by reason of the field trip or excursion.

OOC: It's field trip time of year again! We'll be gathering at Hogsmeade Station in Hogsmeade Village, Scotland starting April 13th, tentatively ending April 16th. Sign-Ups will be open until a thread in the Vanishing Cabinet is created and linked here to continue the field trip RP, so make sure you post here before then, or risk missing out! If your character were a 1st-6th year student during the Term 39th school year, feel free to sign up! Your character must have attended Hogwarts for the 2085-2086 school year to participate. So only current students can sign up, no new students/transfers.
** Any Hogwarts student character can attend as long as they're eligible, whether they are your primary character (the one in your profile bit) or previously established one that's not being RPed on SS during school term (e.g. 2nd generation characters). Keep in mind that you may play only one student character in this trip.
