The CoMC lesson had been so much fun. The only thing that could have been better would have been if they were to take care of unicorns. Now, that would be something right down AJ's alley. The second year wasn't sure how she felt about babysitting some fairies, but how hard could it be? They were in their own little jars.

Instead of walking all the way into the common room, she decided to go ahead and pop a squat on the floor in front of the fat lady. There was enough room where others could get around her, and if somebody was coming out of the portrait hole, they wouldn't be falling in her lap. This was doable. Now, little fairies, lets get the show on the road. "First things first. I think you guys need a name."

What to name two fairies? How did she even know if they were boy or girl fairies? Did they go over that little part in class? AJ didn't remember. You," she pointed at the first fairy, "are tinker." Mmhmm. "And you," she was now pointing at the other fairy, "are bell." Tinkerbell. HEHE. Did they get it? Gosh, AJ was so funny.

Angel didn't really think that this homework was going to be fun because otherwise she wasn't going to be able to sort things out and she just had no idea what she was going to do with these fairies because she was totally bored and afraid about things.

Angel looked at the fairies and sighed, I guess I should name them then. "Hey I'm going to call you Fairy and you I'm going to call Tails." Angel smiled as she looked at the things. "I hope you like the names." Angel smiled as she looked at the fairies and then she saw AJ.

"Hi sis." Angel hoped that her sister would be happy to help her or work with her because she was totally confused at the minute. "How are you?" Angel looked at AJ and then at her sister fairies. "You named them yet?"

How rude of her. She went and named her fairies, and didn't even introduce herself. That was crucial in the whole "get to know you" thing. "I'm Aubrey Valentine, but I go by AJ." She hardly ever introduced herself as Aubrey anymore. It was easier just to tell people to call her by her nickname.

"So... I'm a gryffindor and I love unicorns. I would much rather babysit for some unicorns instead of you girly looking fairies, but professor no fun wouldn't let me." Look at her getting all acquainted with them like a good girl. The fairies were super giggly during the lesson, but now they were all quiet. She thumped the glass with her finger. "Hellloooo." Of course she would get rude fairies. That was just her luck.

Her sister walked up. "Hey Ang. Yeah, I named them tinker and bell." She giggled. "Do you get it?" Oh, she was so clever. AJ pressed her nose back to the jar and her breath fogged up the glass. "I don't think my fairies like me."

Angel looked at her own fairies. "Oh yeah... I'm totally Angel Valentine." Angel giggled as she looked around and listened to her sister. "You can't get enough of Unicorns can you." Angel looked at her sister. "How about for your sweet sixteenth I get you a unicorn as a present?" Angel wasn't sure if she could do that or not but she would.

Angel saw her fairies weren't doing much. "Hey are you two asleep in there?" Angel looked at the glass and then her sister. "My fairies don't seem to be able to do much." Angel sighed, why were her fairies misbehaving.

"That's two great names there." Angel could tell what her sister had done. "I've named mine Fairy and Tails." Angel had thought about heads and tails but decided against it in the end.

Now her sister was introducing herself to the fairies. It was only polite, and it totally wasn't weird. "How can you tell yours apart?" AJ thought she had hers down. Tinker always had a smug look on her face. That was the fairy that gave her problems from the get go. Bell was so laid back, and just seemed nicer. That fairy was going to get to play more. Tinker needed to learn how to be a nice fairy. Heh. "Enough of unicorns? Is there such a thing?" The answer to that was no. "Really?" Her eyes lit up. Angel and Adi were the only ones who had promised her a unicorn, and she was holding them to that. "Awesome sis. The one you get me can be friends with the one that Adi gets me." EEP. She was on her way to having a unicorn farm.

AJ looked over at Angel's jar. "You're just boring them. I think they would like it if you put on a show for them." C'mon Angel. Get up and dance. The fairies wouldn't be the only ones being entertained.

"Thanks. I think they like it." They were stuck with the names either way. "The names you picked out are cute too." Not as cute as Tinker and Bell buuuut that was okay. She smacked her head with the heel of her hand. "I need to feed these guys." Maybe that was why Tinker was looking som gumpy. AJ reached into her bag and pulled out the bottle of food the professor gave her. "No funny business," she told the fairies. The lion unscrewed the lid a little and sprinkled the food in. "Dinner is served." So get off my back, Tinker.

Angel looked at her sister. "Fairy is totally amazing and looks funny." Angel points to the fairy and then looked back at her sister. "Tails is totally crazy." Angel had no idea why but Tails seems to be a bit crazy she kind of remind her of her sister. Angel decided to leave the Unicorn for now she'd have to think of how to get one for her sister later.

"Oh a dance might be good." Angel got up and did a little jig for them all. "No laughing AJ." Angel giggled as she started to do the jig one more if AJ laughed at her she would totally stamp on her sister toes if she did.

"Oh yeah I really should feed them." Angel smiled as she took out the feed and then she looked at the fairies. "Stay there okay." Angel smiled... she then unscrewed the lid a little and sprinkled the food into the jar before screwing the lid back on.

Zander had marched all the way back to the Common Room after that last lesson. He loved the subject, he really did, but Merlin how was he meant to take care of a fairy? Actually, no, TWO fairies!! He wanted a crup, not a jar of fairies. How were fairies even meant to be taken care of? HMPH. So he waltz all the way up to the Gryffindor tower, lifted the jar up to his face, and stared. Stared and blinked and stared some more. For quite a bit of time actually.

Maybe if he stared long enough, the fairies would start to talk and TELL him what he was supposed to do. Zander Adair, the fairy whisperer. Yeah he could get the fairies to--

Wait a minute.

MERLIN, was that a label!?! The Gryffindor couldn't believe his eyes. Heck, his mouth even opened in shock. He leaned in closer to the food jar and a little bit closer and a little bit... WHAT IN THE NAME OF MERLIN!? How come nobody said anything about instructions??? And here he was thinking he had to get the fairies to talk to him. Merlin.

Become accustomed to them and letting them get to recognise you

......... HUH? ??? ??? ??

How was he supposed to do that? So just some more staring. And keeping the fairy jar reeeaaaalllly close to his face. Maybe this is how they'd get accustomed to him! YEAH! They'd totally become accustomed to his face. Yeah. And then recognize it. Double yeah! See, total genius over here. Complete Ravenclaw material. PFt.

After Cinna the divination classroom, she headed down the corridor toward her common room though she didn't know why she thought to head there first. But she wasnt going in yet. She was just using the portrait as a starting point. It was a nice quiet spot unless the fat lady was giggling and gossipping with a friend. And the location was good, close to the classroom.

Right, she found a spot by the portrait and flopped down on the floor. She crossed her legs indian style. Pulled the crystal out of her pocket.

Now just to make sure this thing was working properly she was going to ask the obvious questions. "Is my sketch book somewhere on the grounds?" She held up the crystal in front of her. It swung back and fourth. So no. Not our side. So...... "Is my sketch book inside?" This time the crystal moved around in a circle. So it was inside.

Now where inside was it? Which floor?

"Felix?"

Lex began calling him from the top of the hall she'd entered. It was for an almost certainty that he was here so now was when she started expending energy on calling him out of whatever nook he chose to curl into while he waited for someone to open the portrait for him. "Feeelix?"

Don't tell her he'd make her call a few more times? The Gryffindor drew her wand, ready to search for him with ways she knew how but then she saw a movement. This movement was followed by the proper unfolded of her kneazle and a little lazy stretch on his part before he walked up to her and began rubbing against her leg. "There you are. Didn't figure you'd have gone very far." Alexa scooped him up then swerved on her heels to face the top of the hall again.

They had to return to the class, if only to prove to the Professor that they were capable of finding their things after she'd lost them. No problem. Mission accomplished.
