Zahra's new DIGGING boots were kind of epic under her school appointed skirt. She knew Bellaire would birth live chickens or something if SHE saw them, but her brother had sent her these boots for DIGGING and she was GOING to wear them.

Her brother had also sent her a book and it was too big to read, let alone keep, which brought Zahra to the Nerd End of the Seventh Floor. The Ravenclaws lived here and Zahra needed to see the nerdiest of them all. PLUS, CryGaby had like...... died or something at the Feast, so Zahra wanted to see the CryGaby.

She sat on the floor, tapped her boots together and let the huge book rest on her knees while she waited for Ruby's brother to come out. He'd have to come out SOMETIME. Probably.

Yes...He would have to come out sometime...because there were too many people currently in the dorms, the common room, the.....Well, everywhere. He was constantly being looked at and people were...brushing up against him. It was uncomfortable, okay? Gabe couldn't handle the atmosphere...

NOT. DEALING.

Of course, when he'd planned his escape, he hadn't counted on THE BLOND GIRL to be WAITING on him.

Gabriel froze in place and just STARED at her. This girl, in particular, could NOT be trusted. His eye might've even twitched a bit......Oh, yes. It was definitely twitching.

"............Ruby's in Slytherin. Wrong house." Also, what was most interesting about this was that he was so....PUT OFF by the Zahra girl...that he wasn't a stuttering mess. Much appreciated considering he couldn't handle any further humiliation at her hands.

Huh? "Naw, I think that is the right House for her. I mean, it'd been REAL COOL if she'd ended up in Gryffindor, but we can't all be so cool." Zahra misinterpreted what Gabe was on about. She clearly wasn't bothered as she got up, brushed her butt off, and approached Gabe with the GIANT BOOK in her hands.

".... I have something for you." AND SHE WAS BEAMING and so proud of it and this idea and he should just TAKE THE BOOK RIGHT NOW before she got excited and threw it at him.

He paused again and squinted at the BLOND ONE. "Aren't you looking for her? Why are you waiting out here?" See?! So annoyed he couldn't even bother with the fact that, YES, she was a girl. Nope, there was nothing but annoyance.

...and what was with the book. It was a rather large book, mind, but why was she presenting it to him? This wasn't like that Sonnets of a Sorcerer book, was it? It wasn't going to curse him when he opened it......was it?

So, she got a blank stare....before he resumed walking. He had a common room to escape...

"Because I was waiting on you?" Zahra ....asked? Because why was he walking away? Her smiled faded quickly as she had to put her DIGGING boots to use and hustle to catch up with him. Zahra circled around him, stood in his way, and AGAIN presented him with the book.

"Before you like... died or whatever the other day...," Z didn't go into the details of how Gabe had cried and locked himself in a bathroom, "... you asked me if I liked languages or something." SEE? It was a real huge book about ancient languages... "My brother sent it to me with the boots." HEY MAN CHECK OUT HER KICKING BOOTS. So cool. WAY cooler than the book that she was tyring to force on Gabe.

Gabriel had NO intentions of stopping to speak to the blond any further. There was simply nothing to say and he wasn't a fan of making words, anyway. So...Nope. It was just a big pile of NOPE.

...unfortunately, she hadn't gotten the message...

She was suddenly in his way and Gabriel found himself getting angry; something he usually reserved for Ruby...or family, in general. "I don't want to talk to you." He was still put off from when she'd made him cry...and forced him to sleep in his bathroom.

Of course, BLAST HIM for mentioning languages and BLAST HER for using it against him. Just how much did he want that book? Was it worth it?

Gabe eyed it curiously for a moment...and then eyed her again...."Are you trying to kill me?" He'd just put it out there?

....Zahra had heard Gabe say that before and hadn't thought anything of it. But since he was repeating it TODAY, maybe he legit didn't want to talk to her? WHY BLOODY NOT? She was like REAL good at talking and stuff and she was giving him a book? Like, what had crawled up his butt and died for real.

"Huh??? I didn't even do anything... My brother is a super nerd like you and sent me this book after Greece and I thought you'd like to have it..." BUT NOW Zahra was so confused she wasn't so sure she WANTED him to have it anymore. Or if she gave it to him, maybe it'd be UP SIDE THE head first for being such a sourcow.

No...He did NOT want to talk to her. There.

"...and because of the...uh, first time you even spoke to me, you were acting....INSANE." Did she see the expression on Gabriel's face? Did he look appropriately embarrassed, angry, and a touch horrified still? Yes. Yes, he did. Unfortunately, because she'd caused him such mental anguish, he just.....you know, couldn't deal.

It all came back to his lack of being able to deal.

...but the book did interest him....and if she was telling the truth, well, he....was, erm, grateful for the thought?....or something. Gabe was not good at this.

"I.....you know....appreciate the....book." BUT....that didn't change the fact that he was utterly dissuaded by her. Nope. NOPE.

"I was just bored," Zahra mumbled. It wasn't the first time someone had called her insane. Not even the tenth, fiftieth, or hundredth either. It seemed to be the go-to adjective for Zahra here at Hogwarts. She wasn't insane though, she really wasn't. As it was though, Zahra wasn't going to explain how she needed to stay busy ALL the time lately to keep her mind off of Mikey.

"Whatever. I don't care," though it was evident that she did. She'd been looking forward to making up nearly killing him with the book but this wasn't going to plan at all. "Just take it. Bye." Zahra dumped it on him and turned to go off down the hall, back to Gryffindor.

It was simply TERRIBLE that he was a good person...because he FELT BAD now.

It was like when Ruby had bothered him about not receiving a bunch of valentines and she'd been so disappointed and upset...but he'd forced her out of his room, anyway.......only to send her fifty or so the next day because he didn't want her to be sad.

HEAD. DESK.

".........I don't even.....uh, know your....name?"........Bloody hell.

Zahra stopped in her tracks and turned back around. Her head was cocked and she looked a LOT like a very confused bird. "I've been to your house like ten times. We went on a trip to Greece together. Your TWIN sister is like... my best friend," she told him with a great deal of RAISED EYEBROW because what EVEN??? Not to mention she was the Minister's daughter?

How did someone so unobservant and dumb get into Ravenclaw? Weren't they like the detail kings of the world?

She scratched her cheek as she stared Gabe down.

Stare.

"Ruby and I aren't twins."...because before anything else could be said, Gabriel needed to correct her on that small detail...and NO, it wasn't completely obvious no matter who this girl was. Gabe paid zero attention to girls. They scared him. It would've made NO SENSE for him to know ther name. Not to mention, she'd violated him. So, absolutely not.

He hadn't cared to know.

"...and I clearly...didn't pay any...uh, attention to you." Gabe was usually in his own little world where everything was Latin and books; numbers and science. He didn't care at all about...people...

He KNEW what she MEANT though! Ugh Ravenclaws and details. She threw a hand up to her hip and glared.

"Fine. I don't care. Your face is stupid and you're a crygaby. So maybe you not knowing my name is best anyways." She snapped her fingers between them with the hand NOT on her hip. It felt ridiculous, but also SASSY and good and YEAH. SNAP.

He just didn't understand! What.......?

"You...make no logical sense....." Really, he was trying to be nice to her again? This girl who'd been the cause of his recent emotional torment. Was it a rule that someone needed to know all the names of people visiting or staying in their house? He wasn't the adult....if Linda could be called that. He didn't really care who came over...as long as they didn't bother him. Unlike SHE had.

On his bed. Messing up his blankets and pillows.

Oh, no....Gabe was getting worked up.

"Yea.....uh, well.....you know...." The stutter. It was back. "You're.....just....a uh, dumb girl....who....who...." His face flushed brightly. ".....Uh....." He didn't know what to say...He was getting upset that she was calling his face stupid and saying he was a crybaby. He was NOT a crybaby....She was just a bully.

A bully.

But..... he didn't even BOTHER KNOWING HER NAME and *SHE* didn't make sense?!?!?

Zahra was red faced and angry and if she was honest, her feelings were a little damaged after this. So she did what any Gryffindor would do. Zahra took off one of the boots she was so proud of and she chucked it hard at the back of Gabe. "I'm NOT dumb! THere's more to smarts than BOOKS!"

Nose wrinkled at the thought of drinking sherbet, but Charlies eyes were still light with the sense of a smile. Gosh, she thought that she'd had a sweet tooth, but this boy was another thing altogether, right? Maybe her sweet tooth was solely for fudge and Moretti-baked goods. "You do that. Let me know when you've tracked him down, yeah?" And of course, Charlie knew that she'd probably wait forever for that message - there was no way this kid was actually even going to try to hard to find the elf.

It was all a mythical joke, clearly.

"One hundred?" Readjusting her seat, and the jaw that had practically dropped to the floor, she couldn't help the incredulous lilt to her voice. No way, José had this kid eaten one hundred marshmallow chocolatey biscuit things. Not in the space of one evening. No one could, it wasn't possible. "I'll bare that in mind. Maybe you can treat me to one." Otherwise, she would totally forget or never get up the effort to make herself one.

'Last tutor'. That kinda stood out to Charlie, and although she just nodded by way of acknowledgement of the fact that he was here, now, she was inwardly glad he wasn't in her house. This was a serious year for her, you know? No need for distracting kids that couldn't keep a tutor. She couldn't even image what he'd be like around other teenagers. Gosh, was she old? She felt old. Old and strict.

Ew. "Yeah, it is. Overlooking the lake." She would leave out the fact that it was the better common room. Other houses liked to take offence to that. She hopped up from her seat, clutching the plate with her nibbled-at sandwich on, hesitating a bit before leaving the kitchen, pausing to check he was following (with his lemonade, of course). She didn't pause much on the way, only a few times to point out various points that meant they were on the right track. Obviously she didn't expect him to remember the statues and portraits now, but it might come in handy later, yeah? If he got lost or something on another day.

Helpful, wasn't she? As they reached the seventh floor, Charlie stopped, leaning over the banister to point out a particular staircase a few floors down. "If you can, avoid that one. It's faster, but only if it's going in the right direction."

Stupid moving things.

Angel looked around the seventh floor corridor she was totally trying to avoid Abby, because well her sister had been totally out of order and Angel didn't want anything else to do with her but the Ravenclaw and Gryffindor towers were near each other so she had to be sneaky.

Abby was less mad with Angel but she felt like Angel was avoiding her and when she saw Angel on the seventh floor corridor she cornerned her sister and said "Look Angel i am really sorry but you should know that Ian is no longer my friend and i totally should have stuck by my sisters and if there is anyway i could make it up to you just name it i will do anything"

Angel had obviously got a wonky sister radar system which she would fix later because no sooner had she left her hidey hole, her sister Abby had corner her, "What do you want now? come to slap me so...." Angel stopped, was her sister apologising. "I asked you twice for an apology at the feast but you refused." Angel just looked down at the floor. "Why aren't you and lover boy friends anymore then, I saw the way you acted with him, even after what he said." Angel still couldn't believe her sister had done that. "I think it's a little late for that."

Abby teared up and said "Look i saw sense i could tell that he would end up hurting me so i am not even going to mention him and i really do mean it i want to be on speaking terms with you, don't you think i feel bad for hitting my own sister it has made me sad i would do anything Angel please"

Angel looked at Abby as she teared up, half of Angel wanted to give her sister a hug but nope she wasn't going to do that, her sister had slapped her and cost her points. "Oh so you just happened to see sense?" Angel wasn't sure what to say about that, it was weird that she saw the light just after Ian had left. "If you did feel bad, you want to tell me why you slapped me for no reason?" Angel was still very confused about that.

Abby teared up again and said "I guess i was angry and just could not control my hands i am really really sorry"

Angel just continued to look at her feet she knew if she did look up she would be hugging her sister even though she was still angry. "So you were just angry?" Angel was confused now. "The only way I would slap you Abby, is if you did something very... very... very bad, like steal my best cuddle toy." Angel just didn't get what she had done wrong. "So want to tell me why?"

Abby sighed and wiped her eyes and said "Well i hadnt known how angry both you and AJ were with him and i guess it was just the way you accused him of kissing me we were just talking i don't know why i was so angry it was like i was not in control of myself and i know i was wrong because well you had done nothing wrong you were right to annoy me back i should have never done i just want to forget this whole incident and try to get back to normal and i also lost my house points"
