Sophie was... NERVOUS. ALL THE NERVOUS. FULLER'S office had been a big success, but Thompson's? Thompson was scarier than Fuller. Way scarier. Getting caught in the act by the Charms professor would've been bearable, but his mate? No way. Nooooo nonono no no no no.

So as Sophie and Tobes approached Thompson's office door - the sun was just coming up, which made her even more anxious because that meant people would probably be waking up soon - Sophie was EVEN MORE careful about treading very lightly and being as absolutely silent in her movements as possible. Her eyes were big, her posture was tense, and even still, she couldn't help but smile because she was with Tobes and this was HIS idea and she was so, so proud of him. Her troublemaking, evil mastermind. Guh.

She set the bucket down softly so he could add a few more water balloons, if he wanted, and took a moment to steady her breathing - she was so excited - and veryyyyy methodically and carefully began her efforts to cast the tripwire spell Fuller had taught her in front of Thompson's door. Since they'd just done all this once, they should be professionals and get in and get right back out, right?

Nope. The tripwire spell took her a second try again, but she did succeed, and gave Tobes a look of OKAY HURRY QUICK LET'S DO THIS AND GO.

"-teddy bear," Toby was saying, finishing his sentence and nudging Soph when they were still halfway across the grounds and out of earshot of Thompson's office. He could TELL that his best friend was more anxious about this location, whereas in contrast Toby had already become way more chill with the entire thing. Maybe it was because they'd already done one office (and therefore were past the point of no return, seeing as they'd get caught if they went back now), or maybe because he knew Thompson wouldn't be mad at them. He'd seen fit to try and chill Soph out a bit too.

But not anymore, because now it was back to being QUIET AND STUFF. At least outside wasn't so dangerous, because the weather made noises all the time, and there was always the possibility that Thompson wasn't even here. But anyway, shhhhhhhhhh.

Once again, when Soph did her job, Toby got to work with the second bucket, filling it up with the waterballoons as quickly as he could whilst still getting the spell right. Even now, after getting it right once, Toby would occasionally mess up the spell and need to try again. He blamed that on the adrenaline and the excitement of the situation though, and was patient with himself.

"Mizurus Boru... Mizurus Boru..."

Soph wasn't that patient though, which was... accurate. Ha. Toby just poked out his tongue at her and kept filling up the waterballoons to make them watery orbs and place them into the bucket.

Okay. DONE? WAS SOPHIE DONE? WAS SHE READY TO RUN WHEN THIS WAS ALL... DONE? Maybe they could go visit the creature playpens after? See if the nifflers could steady their nerves? ... Maybe not.

Toby got to his feet, keeping his ears pricked for any noises within the office.

She was ABSOLUTELY DONE, both with her tripwire thing and the SITUATION AS A WHOLE. OKAY. Sophie had taken longer to set up the tripwire spell, long enough that by the time she was successful Toby was done with the water balloons already, so she gave him an anxious look, slid her wand back into its holster, and looked ALL THE STRESSED. She was just WAITING for the door to open and for Thompson to yell at them and forget all about how much he loved them and favored them as his best students - he'd instantly forget and he would never give them cookies anymore and she'd never be able to swim in his pool AGAIN. He'd disown her from letting her be the flower girl at his wedding. Life would be over.

She saw all the forthcoming opportunities for fun stripped away in her mind's eye, and when she looked at Toby, she probably looked like her life was ending.

Rising to her feet, she gestured between the bucket and the space above the door with a sense of urgency, giving Toby the 'okay' to do the placement charm again. She was fully capable of doing it herself, but at this point, she thought it was better that the cool cucumber took care of it.

Aaaand she was already starting to back away from the office door. READY TO BE OUTTA THERE.

Toby snorted in laughter. Not even quietly. OOPS. He couldn't help it; it was just funny how Soph totally DIDN'T BELIEVE HIM about Thompson. Man. She'd probably see soon. Their chances of getting caught in the act were now very close to zero, but BOTH professors would surely know who did this. Soph herself had actually asked Professor Fuller for the spell they needed to pull it off.

But Toby shut up laughing super quickly, and nodded at the Ravenclaw. Once again, he raised his wand and did the same wand movement that he'd done up at Fuller's office, accompanied with an ever-so-quiet, "Fixate."

The bucket floated through the air and hung above the door, doing that same teetering thing. Once again, when the tripwire was triggered, the bucket would tip, and waterballoons would pelt the poor soul below.

OKAY. OKAY NEARLY DONE. The Hufflepuff inched closer, leeeeeaned up and rapped on the bucket once with his wand to turn it invisible, and just like that the space above the door looked empty again.

Now they really needed to scram. No doubt Sophie was raring to go already. Toby grinned at her and gestured that they leave at once, before high-tailing it out of there alongside Soph.

It was early yes, but it was near time for Javy and Lala, his lovely goose's morning walk. Normally she walked leash-less, but today he figured "why not" and put it to good use again. Plus the whole chorts removal not too long ago had him a little extra cautious just in case some cross-breeds were roaming around the forest.

Anyway, he had just fastened her up was opening the the door, slightly groggy since there was no class this morning. Stepping out, he thought his leg felt some kind of tiny pressure, like a thread or something and before they knew it-

*SPLASH*

".............."

Followed by some loud honking from Lala. She was not impressed by the cold shower and because of the shock resulted in a cancelled walk.

Javier on the other hand merely spat out the little trickle of water that somehow slipped into his mouth. Who could've done this prank? There was Airey, the Star Man, but he had gotten his revenge already from that itching powder on Piers.. Then again, it wasn't on him specifically. Merliiiin, was it freezing! Plus, the outside of his office door was a mess now, as he flicked his wand to clean up the droppings and water marks. Who else could have done this... there was.... nah... it couldn't be them.. Could it? Hmph.

Dropping the leash, he let Lala run amok to let her honks subside as he went back inside to get a change of clothes. Whoever did this wasn't getting away, that was for sure. Once he figured out who it was.

Hand-in-hand with Tobes, Sophie walked just a smidge slower than him on their trek to Thompson's office. Deep down in her gut, she KNEW Thompson was still going to end up yelling at them at some point for their prank on both him and Fuller. She was certain of it, thus she was a little... hesitant to go visit the man. He loved them dearly, though, didn't he? It wasn't like he would ever kill them or anything.

...Well. The man loved Tobes, really. She was probably only safe because she was Toby's girlfriend.

"We should've brought him cookies or something," Soph glanced at Tobes as they approached the office door, trying to sound conversational rather than nervous in the slightest. What if he yelled at them for upsetting Piers in class? Or... would he just laugh with them?

Thompson was still a mystery to her. Incredibly unpredictable.

Toby's mind was all over the place today, with thoughts flitting here there and everywhere. He was hoping they'd be able to visit some of the creatures as a decent distraction. He was sort of lost in his thoughts until Soph spoke up and brought him back to the present day, and Toby blinked in surprise at the fact that they'd reached the door already.

Cookies? Toby had to grin.

"You lot and your baked goods," he responded, giving an amused shake of the head. There was never any chance of going hungry around this lot, not that Toby was complaining. He was currently placing a bet against himself in his head over whether or not Thompson would offer them some form of food. He felt like he had a good chance of winning. But still, he knew exactly why Soph had mentioned the idea of cookies and was confident (or maybe hopeful) that a peace offering wouldn't be needed. He didn't think he could deal with another disappointed look from either Fuller or Thompson so soon.

Toby knocked on the door in the same signature way that he always did, and as he did so his smile faded a bit. Yeah, no. Still felt bad about STUFF. Lala. And Charms. And.......... no. Instead of all that, Toby instead thought of magical creatures and bounced lightly on the balls of his feet, because they'd stopped walking but he wanted to keep moving.

After finishing up changing Lala into her new sparkle-themed diaper (because her honking insisted on those type), Javier went on to get himself a book. He had fashioned up some treats for snacking and was about to relax on his couch and enjoy them when he heard knocking. A recognisable rhythmic knocking.

Getting up he opened the door to see his 'primary suspects' from the last door opening incident. It didn't take long for him to come to this conclusion. He casually folded his arms as he glanced down at them, "..Yes?" If you stared long enough, you could possibly see the little smirk. Maybe. The Creature Professor was still wondering on what brought them here.

Bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bou-

The door opened mid-bounce, and Toby looked up at where he knew Professor Thompson's face would appear. And. Uh. Ahem. Was that the face of a happy man? Possibly?

Oh man. MAN. Suddenly thoughts came flooding to Toby, mainly centered around two things: 1. did he know who did the prank? (and 1A. was he mad about it?) And 2. did he know about Charms? (and 2A. was he mad about it?)

Tobias bounced a liiiiiittle more vigorously on his toes, and at one point let go of Soph's hand so his hands could fidget without violently flailing her arm around, and he sort of looked around for a moment and tried to peek into the office. Uh. Hmm. What WERE they there for? Toby couldn't remember if it was anything specific or just a general 'sup' visit, though Soph might know. Although, now he thought about it...

"Is Lala here?" Smooth, Tobes. As if she'd be anywhere else. And he'd completely bypassed the 'hello', distracted as he already was. Good job, Tempus.

Sophie was nervous enough around Thompson - even after he had been way cute when they celebrated their birthdays together - but Tobes bouncing and fidgeting made her even more nervous. The loss of his hand holding hers made her tense up a little, wanting desperately to take his hand back but knowing he needed to do his own thing.

Luckily, as soon as the door opened and Javier himself appeared, Soph put on a super relaxed facade and gave him a "sup" nod, suddenly appearing as cool as cucumber despite how very not cool she had been only moments ago.

She snorted a little at Tobes' blurting of a question that she didn't even understand the reasoning behind, then she offered up her own question, "D'you have any food? I don't want house elf stuff, I want your stuff. All your stuff is way better. Tastes like home." Buttering him up a little never hurt anyone, did it?

It helped that she was telling the truth, though. And certainly he knew her words were fact and not entirely a nervous blurting.

At least hers had been better than what Tobes said.

Now then.. What could these two want to see the Professor for? Did they have something to share with him? Need some extra advice? Naaah..

Instead one of Javier's eyebrows quirked up just then. "..Lala?" They wanted to see Lala.. and have something to eat. Well, the last request wasn't surprising to him since he was always cooking something in his spare time.

Hmm.. perhaps it would be good to let them in by the looks of Tobias' overenthusiastic body language. At this rate he was bound to get stuck to the roof at his increasing bouncing height. A small smile at last showed, "Come on in then." Before his head turned to glance behind him, "Lala, you have some company." Now where was she? Relaxing on the couch guarding the treats from the looks of it.
