At eight o'clock in the morning, the door to the Second Greenhouse is wide open. You step inside to find that the tables are set differently. Instead of being separately scattered around they are aligned next to each other forming one long table right in the center of the greenhouse. Wooden chairs are also lined on both sides of the tables next to each other. The Professor's table is no where to be seen. But he is standing right at the further end of the tables with his hands on the table and a few feet behind him is a blackboard.
Aside from the different arrangements of the tables you will notice another important thing; there is absolutely nothing on the tables. Look closely around you and you will also see that every other pot is covered and no plant is in sight.
ooc: Lesson will not start for at least another 16 hours! Also, note that there certainly have been a number of lessons before this one.

Jasmine arrived at Greenhouse Two wondering what could possibly be in store for the class today. As she entered the Greenhouse she noticed that the set-up was different than before and she was the first student to arrive. "Good Morning Professor", Jasmine said as she headed toward the surprisingly empty tables.
Having her choice of seats, Jasmine picked one in the center of the tables and pulled out a chair. She sat down, pulled her necessary materials from her bookbag and also grabbed her textbook. Might as well get some reading done while she waited for class to begin. So Jasmine opened her book and began to read. A little extra preparation couldn't hurt.

Ugh, another early class. These would be the death of her.
Covering a yawn with her hand, Lux entered the greenhouse ready for another interesting lesson with the plants. Or well...she would be ready when she mentally woke up. "Hello, Professor Walton," she said before noticing the set-up.
Huh.
What was with the Professors and changing everything around on them? Shrugging it off, she took a seat before spotting her friend. "Hey, Jasmine." It was nice to see that she wasn't the first to arrive.
But Eden had been up for hours, actually--she had woken up EXTRA early to go running--and the result...was amazing because she felt VERY awake and would probably be one of the MOSTEST awakest of all the STUDENTS. WHOOH. She spotted Jasmine as soon as she got into the room and took the seat across from her.
"Hey, Jasmine!" She said cheerfully as she plopped down and let her bag fall to the floor. "How's it going?" she asked in a friendly way. She liked the prefect--especially after having been partnered with her for the first Comrade task.
She then bluuuushed as she shot a look at Professor Walton..."Mornin' Professor...how's it going?" she asked him, too, and smiled shyly at him...GOSH. She knew if either Justine or Layla were here right now they would TOTALLY be mocking her...Hmmph. Maybe they wouldn't come? It WAS early, after all?

This was different.
Maddie slipped inside of the greenhouse and raised her eyebrows at the setup. What interested her most, though, was the lack of plant life. She did a slow turn so that she could cover all areas of the space but could find no hints of what they might be doing. A mystery, then? Challenge accepted.
Sliding into a seat by Eden of the garden variety, the second year smiled at her and Jazzy. She then focused her attention on the man in charge. "Hello Professor." A polite smile followed the greeting and then Maddie was busy organizing her things.
Emmylou yawned quietly. Even in the early morning she normally wasn't this tired but she had been up late doing homework for her classes so what was she to do? Even though the fourth year lioness was tired she still managed to get to class on time and when she walked in the greenhouse she was confused. What was going on in this class? Nothing on the tables and the tables were set up differently. Emmylou wondered what they were going to be doing in class today. "Hello Professor." Emmylou beamed and made her way over to the very empty tables.
Emmylou found a nice, quiet and empty spot for her to sit at while the rest of the students filled in. She was here earlier than she needed to be but there was nothing wrong with being in class early because you got a seat that you wanted.

Now this gathering was more to his liking.
Outside with all the plants around everywhere and once he stepped inside the glass building with his giddy gait, he could see a long wooden table for all of those people to gather around. "Oh goody!! " he said excitedly with clapping as he moved to a spot, the bag he thought to bring slung over his shoulder. "Is there going to be a tea party?! " Come on...tea parties were spectacular and something that had to happen all the time.
"Good day everyone!" he added trying to be more welcoming. Opening his bag, the Hatter took out what was within and laid it out in front of him on the table. One pair of gloves and one teapot and tea cup with saucer that he had finally found rummaging in the kitchens. Now he was properly prepared for what was to come and Dormouse had a nice place to nap if need be.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
8am...8AM! it was too early for him.
And it was shown. Kevin's usually sharp gaze was dazed right now and he yawned behind his hand as he entered the Herbology Greenhouse. The kid had had a nightmare during the night and had woken up around 4am, unable to sleep after that he had decided to flip through the pages of his potion book until he fell asleep again. Story short, he only had a few hours of troubled sleep.
"I'mma close my eyes for a moment...don't disturb until class starts" he said to the Professor instead of a hello while he walked past him. He found a seat and leaned back in his chair.

The grounds were cold, and AJ was ready to enter the greenhouses since they usually provided some warmth. It was a roof over her head at the very least. As soon as her feet guided her in, she realized that this was very different. Very different indeed.
For starters, where were the plants? This was Herbology, correct? The tables were situated so that they made one really long one. The professor didn't have a table, or so it seemed. "Good morning, professor." Already sitting down was Benny. Goodness, was he getting out tea essentials? Contemplating for a moment about whether or not to join him, she finally decided to do so.
"What's the riddle?" she asked while plopping down beside him. He was amusing, and quite entertaining. Perhaps this was the new and improved Benny.

Another early morning lesson. As he had been for the last few, Adi came very much wide awake. Even his stomach was all fed. Just one thing was missing and he had to see Benny about that.
Adi stepped into the Greenhouse, immediately noticing the furniture arrangement. He also noted there was nothing on the tables. Hmmm. He spotted Professor Plants. "Good Morning, Professor.'' A cheerful grin for you. And waves for Lux and Jasmine.
Aha! There was the person he needed to talk to. Adi approached Benny. What? Benny was going to be starting a tea party? Adi noticed AJ too. "Hey, AJ.'' He smiled at his girlfriend before looking at Benny again. "Benny, do you still have Gus? I mean your dormouse.'' he asked as he dropped his bag onto the seat next to his bestie. And could Adi see him? He had been quite worried about his toady. Usually Gus would be in his pocket during class time but he had failed to locate him. Benny had been the last one to see him. Guster was a dormouse according to the other boy.
Dorothy had raced through the school grounds and arrived at the Greenhouses panting like Toto on a hot day. When she had heard this class was to take place in the GREENhouses, she KNEW it must be part of the Emerald City. Obviously. Her face fell, however, when she finally looked around and saw students and tables instead of the magnificent greenness of the Emerald City. And no sign of the Wizard either. SIGHHH. At this rate she was never going to find her way bake to Kansas. Putting on a brave face, she looked down at her empty basket and whispered, "Don't worry Toto, we'll find the Wizard." He had to be here somewhere.

Angel was very scared about this lesson... normally she would love Herbology but half the school had gone crazy and as someone said in Potions, how had the school not been closed down by now not that she wanted that to happen and at least her sister wasn't effected by what ever what was going on.
"Hey Professor." Angel smiled and was about to go over to her boyfriend when suddenly he started talking about a tea-party. Okay this was totally weird and so she went and found somewhere away from the gang no way was she getting this crazy bug.
Another Herbology lesson. Cinna was excited practically bouncing, the bouncing wasn't due to the fact that she was in a good mood and not because she was heading to Herbology lessons. And absolutely not because it was 8 o'clock in the morning. She was not a fan. Another subject that during her time homeschooled her Nana drilled into her head. she walked down the greenhouse two and walked into it.
"Good morning, professor Walton." She smiled and took a seat beside Lux. She noticed Eden and Emmy too of course they got waves. Let's get this lesson started. She started seen some of her friends already there.

Eight am was too freaking early.
Jeez, the boy hardly had enough time to do anything that morning. Part of the fault lay in him for ignoring his alarm and then rushing towards the end to try and find a clean pair of socks. Sitting down and having a proper breakfast was out of the question: he'd simply grabbed a piece of toast and unceremoniously shoved it into his mouth before rushing out of there.
Life of a lazy student, man.

The one long table down the middle wasn't something he cared about a lot. No, it was the lack of things on the table. No plant life in a greenhouse? Weird or what? They were going to work with something, weren't they? Though, if this was gonna be a theoretical lesson, dude wasn't going to be very impressed.
"Good morning, Professor!" he called, giving the man a nod as he headed over towards an empty spot along the table. He placed his bag onto the table and took out some of the necessary items -- quills, ink, journal and whatnot -- before letting his bag drop to the floor beneath the table. Ready, yo.

By some great miracle the Gryffindor wasn't in dire need of her bed. It was no midday lesson like she'd always dreamed of but...well...she didn't know, she was just awake. It was a weird feeling too given her notably smaller intake of sugar with the disappearance of her candy bag. Perhaps it was the jitters? The need for the sugar that was keeping her awake. Not knowing where her baby was was certainly anxiety inducing.
"G'morning Profe--" Pause.
There was something seriously missing. Had the Professor done something to the room? Weeeeeird. Lex entered cautiously, not knowing if this class would be another show. The other two she could appreciate, but with her lack of appreciation for Professor Walton and everything he stood for, she didn't think she'd have been as amused with him.
Then again, the man was too dull and mean spirited to be possessed by a fairytale book so nothing to worry about there. "Interesting set up."

As for her question... "Riddle...riddle..." he mused trying to think of the best one. The perfect one.
"Why is a raven like a writing desk?"
And then they were joined by the third member in their previous get together. "Whoooooooo??" Oh..he almost forgot. The Hatter reached into his robe pocket for the toad that emmited a croak when it spotted his human. "So sorry Dormouse...forgot you were in there when you sleep so soundly." The man placed the creature down on the table as well, opening the top of the tea pot forthis companion if desired.

Kyroh's eyelids were open just slightly as he dragged his feet toward the greenhouse. Yawning the second year took no notice at all the the arrangement of the tables or the covered up plants.
Too early for that. Too early.
"G'oodrmmmd 'Fessor." That was good morning in 'class should not be held at this time' state. Plopping down in the first empty seat that he saw, he wiggled his fingers at the girl and closed his eyes.

Toby had never been bothered by early morning classes, and today was no exception. He arrived with the general throng of classroom having headed straight here after breakfast, and stepped into the greenhouses to see...
... no plants. None.
Would this be purely a theory lesson? Toby... didn't know how to feel about that if it was. He paused for only a second, and then headed inside to take a seat.
"Morning, Professor Walton," the Hufflepuff said simply, as he got his note-taking stuff ready.

You know, Dante was not really looking forward to Herbology. Maybe because of that one class with the fire and such. But if you wanted a strict plant class. This was the one for you. Though Dante still had a nagging feeling he got on Professor Plants bad side over something he does not remember doing.
Weird.

It looked like they could be eating some plant food with the way the tables were set up. It would be awesome. But Dante was sure they would be learning boring theory. Unless it was man eating plants.

Pinocchio came down to the plant place. He had seen a note on board near the place he had been sleeping. It had said something about going to a greenhouse. He had been talking to that girl about emerald city and maybe that was the place. He remembered the song they had been sing inane so he entered the greenhouse, skipping and singing We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz
He saw a really long table with other boys and girls, including that Dorothy girl. She was carrying a basket. He waved at her and grinned. He walked up to her, Did you find your wizard guy?

Still proud of herself for having shown the bouncing bulbs she wasn’t afraid of them, Brooklyn had headed confidently out to the greenhouses after a quick breakfast, still idly munching on an apple while she’d walked. Things were definitely crazy around Hogwarts, but most of her housemates who’d gone insane seemed back to normal. Hopefully nobody would be setting people on fire this lesson and losing everyone points. She knew she wasn’t about to, unless the other person deserved it. Princesses didn’t cause trouble unless it was necessary, and she had no trouble following that rule. Especially when she was the one who determined if it was necessary.
She’d blinked as she’d stepped through the door of Greenhouse Two, though. Where’d all the plants go?, she wondered. She was going to be seriously annoyed if this was going to be another lesson like the last Potions lesson, nothing for them to do but sit there and take notes. Her hand was going to cramp up again if she had to do that. But still, there was hope. And the professor. “Good morning Professor Walton,” she said, dropping the apple core into her bag as she gave the man a smile. Worst came to worst, she could always surreptitiously plant that. An apple tree would be better than nothing. For now, though, she’d made her way to an empty seat, noting that she was the first to arrive of those she had deemed okay. She didn’t see Hady or Ethan, anyway. She saw Dante, and a Gryffindor asking riddles and who obviously thought a toad was a dormouse. He got a dubious glance as she made sure to sit well away from him, ending up fairly close to where the professor was standing. No crazies for her.

Erghh it was too early for classes to be in session. Kace was still waking up. He hated getting up at 7:30 to get ready for class. He even dreaded getting out of his bed. But he was here now and ready to learn. Well....somewhat. As he made his way into the classroom, he noticed there were a few students made it here early. Why would you wanna get here early? Treasure the minutes of sleep you can get.
He saw his girlfriend (Emmy) and Lux and Cinna. He smiled to them all and waved to them. He was rubbing his eyes and yawning. He tried to get the sleepy's out of his eyes. He might even have bed hair but he didn't care. He saw the professor thought in front of the class, "Heyy Professor.." he mustered his smile. He took his seat next to his girlfriend and his crew and he softly rubbed Emmy's back and waited for the lesson to start.

This was probably his least favorite thing about Hogwarts so far. David was SUPPOSED to be sleeping right now, but instead he was dragging himself to the greenhouses for a class. Meh.

"'Morning, professor," he said before finding the nearest empty place, which happened to be beside Grayson. He got a nod because speaking anymore was just way too much effort this early in the morning, okay? Okay.

Heeeeeeeeey! This was like when they went into Potions and Professor C didn't have ANY CAULDRONS out. Cool, cool. That had turned out to be the COOLEST CLASS OF ALL TIME, so Z was down.
She cast a glance around for Lex. MAYBE LEX wasn't completely cuckoo today and she wouldn't get them in trouble.
"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey Professor. Hope you got something COOL hidden up your sleeves today!" Z just kind of bobbed around from table to table, friend to friend, not quite yet choosing a place to stay.

Marigold walked into the classroom and immediately correlated it with potions. Hoping there wouldn't be a troll, she imitated Zahra and didn't sit down immediately. "Hi, professor." He didn't look like he was dressed as a pirate or something, but Norah was saying weird things, and Marigold inwardly sighed.
