| | |  Gobstones Championship Match: Gryffindor vs. Slytherin
 The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the warm, start of summer air and its surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's final all deciding championship match.
The red and green marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Gryffindor and Slytherin Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping.
Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again for potential updates and changes.

Mr Kitridge had walked in with his hands stuck in his coat pockets against the cold morning air, the Ancient Runes Professor had graciously set up the hall for the fourth and final match so Leo could focus on lighting one of the fireplaces. As the teams assembled he put his wand to his mouth to enhance his whistle to get the players attention. "Good morning and welcome to the Gobstones club, today's our fourth and final game of the season, I hope you're all as excited and geared up as I am for the championship decider." Not waiting for any responses Leo quickly signalled for the teams to choose their representatives for the first shot of the game.
"Let's begin!"

The snakes sent out Grayson Whitlock to meet Zeke Rodgers of the lions. The two boys practiced swinging their shooters experimentally before they really swung their shooters and kicked their stones forward. The green stone rolled over, under and around a series of obstacles before it stopped. The red stone rolled and kept rolling around obstacles narrowly missing to bump into a few. It came to a stop when it had just surpassed its oponent with a few meters.
"The first point of the match goes to Gryffindor!" Leo announced from his place on the sidline next to Professor Botros.

Handing over the lion shooter to Alexa Cambridge, Zeke to a seat on the Gryffindor bench. The snakes kept Grayson on the court. The two players swung their shooters and kicked their stones forward. The green stone rolled and rolled until it smacked straight into an obstacle that loomed up in front of it. The red stone rolled and kept rolling around obstacles until it surpassed it's opponent bypassing the obstacle that loomed up with a very small margin.
"2 points to Gryffindor!" Leo announced from his place on the sidline next to Professor Botros.
