Default the Office of Professor Flamsteed

Perhaps the first thing you notice as you enter Professor Flamsteed's office is that it is...clean. Ridiculously clean. While he is not exactly obsessive compulsive about cleanliness, Professor Flamsteed highly values organization and keeps everything in a specific location. Needless to say, if one of his quills is at an odd angle ... he will notice. The wood cabinets above his desk are filled with all sorts of reference books on all branches astronomy on the left side while the right side is filled with works of muggle science fiction ranging from Douglas Adams to H.G. Wells to Robert Heinlein and everyone in between. His desk is mostly empty except for some black accents and a comfortable looking pink pillow where the professor's pet rock, Pebbles, is currently resting. Beside this is a plant in a unique looking planter.

On the walls are a few framed pieces of abstract line and paint splatter artwork that Professor Flamsteed has collected over the years along with a drawing given to him by a former student in a black frame. Beside it is yet another drawing, this one signed, in another black frame. There is a black sofa up against one of the walls with a pet house on the floor beside it where Pebbles sleeps when not on the pink pillow on the desk. To the right of the black sofa and is a wooden closet where Professor Flamsteed keeps a few freshly pressed suits from his extensive collection, just in case, and to the left of this is a rather impressive looking tie display case. Located opposite of Professor Flamsteed's desk is yet another display case, but this one is filled with all sorts of muggle science fiction models that he has built and painted himself - a hobby of his when he is not busy teaching, grading, or researching. To the left of this case is what appears to be a muggle telephone booth, but upon further inspection of it you will find Herschel scurrying about within.

OOC: please do not post here without having been invited in by Professor Flamsteed from the waiting area or else risk your post being unceremoniously deleted.

Which really made no sense because there was a clear canon timeline for who was to become the captains and not once had there been an Airey Flamsteed mentioned there or anywhere within any crew on any ship. Alas. Childhood dream crushed. "Once I was old enough to accept that that dream was just a tad beyond my reach, I turned to the next best thing - an astronaut."

And how many people could say that becoming an astronaut was their back up plan? Hmm?

He nodded. "Definitely a good idea," he agreed. Standing in the very location would help confirm that it was the place for her. Miss Wisteria was driven and knew what she wanted, so he had no doubts that she wouldn't be successful wherever she ended up...but he had opinions on where he thought would be best. "I believe so, yes." See? Strong opinion.

He took another long sip from his tea before speaking again. "Not sure how she manages it myself," he said with a small shrug. He was fairly positive he wouldn't have been able to do it himself, extra distraction and all. He was good at keeping himself distracted with no outside help. "But as long as my students, current and former, continue to grow and are passionate about what they do, I can't complain." And there was an added grin there, just for you Miss Wisteria.

NEW YORK?! Did that mean she went to Broadway?! Surely she must have. It was THE thing to do in New York, you know? "Really? Something for me from New York?" A something she had maaaaaaaaaaaaaaade? Would it be terribly unprofessional if he went all grabby hands towards...whatever it was?

HOW ADORABLE WAS THAT?! Merlin, just imagine a 4 y-o Airey running around and telling everyone he was going to captain a starship! Not just any starship, by the way, the USS Enterprise. It was all very cute, and suddenly the models and everything made sense. It hadn't before, until now. "Must have been quite a sight." And the sixth year couldn't help but laugh. If only she had stories like that to tell about her brother...

...anyway, "It was the most logical choice." An astronaut. Yet again, we're being selfish enough to consider his crushed dreams a blessing for Hogwartians.

Best idea ever, truth be told. It was another country, she couldn't just make a decision like this one without even seeing what the place was like. Traveling was one thing, but education that will keep her occupied for a couple of years was another. "Of course." A good idea, indeed. And she would do the same with the universities nearby as well, this wasn't just because California was too far away, okay? There. Stanford was the best, according to him. And no one knew better than him. Sooooo...., "I'll keep that in mind," she replied, with a smile.

Precisely. That was Lotus' point all along (as of a few minutes), how could you possibly focus when you had more pressing responsibilities, hmmmm? Not her problem, anyway. She merely nodded and drank more tea. There was probably another comment in her mind but she just noticed they were talking about Alice and NO. No more. He kept on talking, though, and she beamed at that, "Well, I'm definitely passionate." Just ask her boyfriend. Or not, never mind. Kidding. Passionate about the sky and stars, yeah, of course.

Yup, NEW YORK CITY! And, yes, Broadway, too. "Why, of course! I attended an Illustration course and we had this project of our choosing... so I chose to do something... Astronomy related. For you." Yes, this was a present, she had a duplicate back home and plenty of other projects, so he could definitely keep this one. It was, after all, made for him. With a smile, she set her cup down and handed the rolled-up parchment to him. He could go ahead and remove the silver ribbon and keep the illustration forever.

Your gift from the States, Mr. Flamsteed.

SPOILER!!: SIMON!

Yes, he was going to spending a whole day relaxing with a cup of tea or hot chocolate near the fireplace with several blankets on. That would be a very, very good day for the boy. He'd try his hardest not to read through it as quickly as he could.

His mind too wandered back to the Star Trek conference. "I'll try to work on my dad so that he can take me to the conference next year," he exclaimed. He didn't know how to ask his next question without sounding a little weird. "Uhh.. I don't know how to say this without sounding a little strange but err... Do you generally go as Spock?"

Insert awkwardness now?

Please no.

Ooooooh, next year was going to be absolutely STELLAR! He had already been given a sneak peek at the guest list and everything, which is why he leaned in just a bit and lowered his voice. "It's been confirmed that the granddaughter of Sir Patrick Stewart will be a guest speaker," he smirked. Charming woman. He had had the pleasure of speaking with her on a few occasions at various conventions. Not to mentioned a few merchandise booths selling some Original Series memorabilia still in its original packaging. He had been saving his muggle money for quite some time in preparation of this.

"Nonsense, strange would be asking me if I used tweezers to pluck my nose hairs," he chuckled, taking another long sip from his tea and giving his cup a casual swirl. "I do not, for the record." In case that had actually become something the young man was curious to the answer to, although he couldn't imagine why. "I do. Exclusively really. Tried going as Data once, but the paint was a little too much for me."

Slightly sensitive skin when it came to such things.
SPOILER!!: Cassiopeia! *waves bye bye*

She loved to read during her morning tea.

He would speak with her, oh good, see it was just a misunderstanding. “I’m so glad I came in.” she said as she stood. “I knew it just had to be a misunderstanding, you are a very bright man, so I just knew those unprofessional words couldn’t have come from your mouth in front of a student. Just because we don’t teach the same things doesn’t mean we don’t respect each other’s differences.” She was just beaming and snapped a bit.

“I won’t keep you any longer Airey. It was a wonderful visit though. Maybe you could stop by for some tea sometime. I can show myself out.” Turning her purse flipped off her shoulder and Aries one of the kitties popped its little head out and meowed. “Sorry “ She patted him on the head and double checked to make sure Gemini hadn’t fallen out. Luckily the Kitty purse was designed to protect them and be a comfortable ride. Grinning back towards him one last time she opened the door and headed back to her own tower.

"Certainly," he nodded. Just some of us prefer our facts scientific rather than those of allegation or stipulation.

He simply nodded. Misunderstanding, sure, that did seem to be the buzz word of the conversation but the astronomer was still unclear as to the full picture of what had occurred during the woman's lesson. Answers to uncertainties that he would surely receive from Miss Cambridge when he eventually spoke with her. "Of course," he replied, through slightly gritted teeth mind you because he had not an ounce of respect for the topic of astrology but he was trying to maintain a professional air about him. One that ought to be kept in front of students as well...but the way Cassiopeia repeated certain words and thoughts had him a bit concerned that she had, perhaps, said some of these thoughts in front of students in her classroom.

Oh, hello migraine, where had you come from. Good Merlin he needed fresh air...even if it was the freezing sort.

Before he could say anything else, THERE WAS A FEROCIOUS BEAST BEING SUMMONED FROM THE DEPTHS OF HADES, ROARING AT HIM FROM THE PORTAL BETWEEN THEIR WORLDS IN THE FORM OF THE DIVINATION INSTRUCTOR'S PURSE. HE COULD SEE IT'S FANGS. THE SORT THAT WANTED TO TEAR HIS FLESH FROM HIS BONES...AND THOSE EYES. EYES THAT PIERCED HIS SOUL AND DEVOURED IT WHOLE!

Shrieking like a little girl he leaped backwards, shoes still on and all, on to his desk and curled himself into a ball by hugging his knees to his chest as the woman made her exit...and took the BEAST with her.

He was going to just stay up here for a moment...just to make sure there were no other monsters in the room or else he would be sending a patronus to Medea to come save his life deal with the dark creature.
SPOILER!!: NUMERO UNO! Is that what they translate that line to in Spanish? o.o *sticks with Number One*

Yes, it was quite the site. His parents even had some muggle video footage of it all, not that he thought Miss Wisteria would want to see that. Seeing your professor as a young child scurrying around in his Star Trek briefs was probably a traumatizing image.

"Certainly was, and quite the dream to chase after as well," he recalled fondly. On many levels really. The schooling, of course, had been fascinating, but so had the people he had met. Even met a fellow that went on to teach at Hogwarts, although that was before Miss Wisteria's time. "I expect nothing less," he chuckled. On her keeping it in mind that is. "I sincerely hope you feel that connection to the university. I can really see you achieving greatness there through their stellar academics." Of course, she would achieve greatness wherever she went, but it was like those first years sitting and waiting to be sorted. Each house would help them on the road to greatness, but one house in particular would give them the necessary extra push to go beyond. Highlight their best qualities and such.

"I know you are," he winked. One look at her assignments and it was obvious. The attention to detail. The well thought out yet concise answers. Brilliant work.

And he still didn't know about the boyfriend, so let's be sure to keep it that way, yeah? It would only end poorly and with disapproving looks.

Oh, well didn't that sound fascinating! It was obvious, based on previous drawing and charts used in his lessons that had been drawn by himself, that he was no artist. Not unless he was using instruments like rulers and protractors to draw diagrams that is. Mathematical art. He could do that. "How very generous of you to think of me," he grinned as he picked up the rolled up parchment and, like a little boy on Christmas morning, removed the silver ribbon by pushing it off the scroll - not untying it - and eagerly unrolled it.

His jaw dropped. Once he had entirely unrolled the large piece of artwork. "Great SCOTT," he exclaimed, smacking the top of his head with the palm of his hand. After being rendered completely speechless for a few moments, he finally tore his blue eyes away from the artwork to Miss Wisteria. "Pick a spot on my office wall and I'll hang it up immediately."

Cue a giddy, and perhaps somewhat misty eyed, grin.

THE GRANDDAUGHTER OF SIR PATRICK STEWART!?!? Now, he HAD to go. Simon's jaw dropped. If he'd be a cartoon, it would have nicely been resting on the very clean floors of Airey's office. "WHAT?!" he exclaimed with blue eyes widening. "That's amazing. Sweet Merlin! I'll have to go now." He didn't know who he'd be but he'd decide once he would get there. "Do you know her personally?" he asked all of a sudden becoming very quiet and leaning in as if they were speaking about taking over the world and didn't want anyone to hear- not even Flamsteed's pet rock.

Uhhhhhhhhhh..

Smile and wave, Simon. Smile and wave. Or nod. Yeah. Smile and nod at the Professor who just told you something about Flamsteed using tweezers to pluck his nose. Okay, a bit too much information, dear fellow Trekkie. PLAY IT COOL. Play it coool. He just nodded and smiled at the Professor. "Of course, I was wondering that actually," teased Simon with a chuckle. Oh wait. What if he didn't take that as him teasing Airey? Uh.. Uhh... "Well.. Not exactly but anyway.." he added rather awkwardly.

His eyebrows raised when he heard that Flamsteed had tried going as Data. "Seriously? That must have been so tough. I'd imagine that all of that paint would have made it quite hard to interact," he said, imaging how quickly the paint would start to crack. "Did you go with the beard or without the beard?" He took another sip as he remembered the episode when Data tried to get people's opinions about his beard.

*sappysapper* MAJNOO, YO!

Oh my word ....

Noel's eyes were wide as he stepped into the Professor Space's office. It was the FIRST time he had ever gotten into an office of any teacher. Were they even allowed to do that? To just visit and look around the office.

Professor Space was like really really cool if he was allowing Noel to just look around cause Noel had asked. So perfectly epic.

"Professor ....... do you realize, how very cool you are?" he asked, staring at the science fiction models. "I mean .. wow"

This probably was the best day at Hogwarts so far, even with the flu!

SNEEZE.

Noel was sure - it wasn't just the sneeze that was weakening his heart, the professor and everything that was awesome about him was doing that as well.

"I am so glad I decided to come here, I feel half therapized already," Noel rambled, looking at the numerous collection of his books. How long did it take for him to collect all these?

Personally? Oh of only he knew any of the decedents of the greats'. But alas, his personal connections were more drawn towards astronomers than actors and actresses. "If only I were so lucky," he lamented. "I've simply run into her and others at various conventions."

...really? No wonder the Aparecium was so popular with students. They were actually curious about professors' grooming habits. And, for the record, this random bit of information better now show up on a piece of parchment any time soon. Not that he really went out of his way to read it. Needless to say, he sort of missed the whole bit about the Slytherin not being serious. Too caught up in contemplating the absurdity of students really wanting to know this information.

Oh yes, cosplay talk. Pity he had missed Halloween this term. Perhaps he should schedule a lesson on Halloween next term...work it somehow into his lesson. Although it went against the standards he held for his lessons. No party and no real distractions. Hmm...he was going to have to think on this. "Just the standard Data," he confirmed. Another issue had been Data and his feline...and with the astronomer's ridiculous fear dislike for them, well, it was hard to be convincing.
SPOILER!!: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooel...uhoh XD

Chuckling as he shut the door, the professor made his way towards his teapot and gave it a tap with his wand to fill it up and begin heating it. "Cool?" he chuckled with a quick glance over his shoulder. "I've been called many things over the years, but that is one of the more uncommon descriptions. But appreciated nonetheless."

Popping a teabag of the special Flamsteed Flu Brew into the pot, he made his way towards the sofa and threw Hershel a quick nod before grabbing a blanket off the sofa. "Here, Mr. Wallace. Wrap yourself up in this to keep warm." Blasted Heating Charms.

Hufflepuff say what now? Therapized?

He simply stood there for a few long moments blinking at the young man, only coming to when the soft whistle of the heated teapot brought him back from his confusion.

He probably shouldn't ask. No, he KNEW he shouldn't ask. But there he was opening his mouth and producing sounds that come out sounding like, "You are in need of therapy?" Didn't the boy just have a cold? A cold that was going to be rectified by the tea once it had finished brewing.

Noel did not hesitate and took the blanket from the professor. Because 1) he was really really cold and 2) professor space <3.

When professor space proceeded to state the obvious, Noel just SIGHED and collapsed down on the comfy sofa. "Yes, professor. I am afraid I do. Hogwarts is out to GET me. I just ..." he sneezed, excused himself and then spoke again: "First the sorting hat sorted me into Hufflepuff, and then people keep telling me Hufflepuffs die. Particularly Ravenclaws." All the FEEELING he had. Oh God. "And then this ... killer flu. Is this a sign, professor? Am Ii really going to die a hufflepuff death WAY WAY before my time?"

Therapy? Yes.

Of course, she would achieve greatness wherever she went, but it was like those first years sitting and waiting to be sorted.

No, no, we probably wouldn't want to see that, so, it's the best if the video stays out of Miss Wisteria's knowledge.

The smile was on her face was a clear indication that she agreed with his words. It was quite a dream, wanting to become an astronaut, definitely. Rather wicked, it'd be, to see what space is like without having to rely on pictures alone. What a pretty thought. Nothing less. Heh. Precisely. She is considering this, Flamsteed, no worries. Her smile simply widened, she immediately saw a couple of people who would prefer no connection would be made with this particular university, but, "We'll just have to wait and see. And you'll be one of the first to know, for sure." That list wasn't too long, however. She may have blushed a little at greatness, but it was hardly noticeable. Or so she thought. "Thanks, Professor!" GREATNESS, I tell you.

Only that wink was out of line, and she laughed, softly, before clearing her throat and drinking more tea. Best not to comment.

Now Lotus was beaming, "It's nothing, really." She was about to tell him that this had originally been Tag's idea, but decided against it at the last minute. One, because it was unnecessary information; and two, it was neither her nor there. Her spare time was hers to be spent as she wished. This includes the conversations held with others.

Then came Airey's reaction and she did her best not to bounce in her seat like an overly excited five year-old. But her smile was still there. And her eyes were fixed on the Professor in front of her. He liked it, then. Good! "Glad you like it." Since it was for him, after all. Wait... immediately? She had to stand for a moment and look around..., "Definitely not next to Oakey's drawing...," though she had made peace with that one former Hufflepuff, she didn't want her illustration to be next to his. "How about above the sofa?" she asked, but then quickly added, "Or wherever you or anyone who steps inside would see it clearly." Ahem. Favorites get a special place.

Ooooh, she didn't know Ella had also drawn something for him... that was cute.

Simon frowned slightly when he heard Airey’s response. Man, that was too bad. “Perhaps you’ll meet her in the random place in the world? Like on a vacation somewhere?” he offered with a kind smile but maybe Flamsteed wouldn’t recognize her. Or maybe he would. He didn’t know. All he knew was that actors did like to hide in public so that they wouldn’t get a bazillion fans coming over to ask them to kiss their baby, sign their photos, or pose for a photo. The boy supposed that it must all get really old quite quickly. Poor actors or relatives to actors.

Nice. If you did end up having the Data beard, it would have been quite itchy,” he said with a grin. He could have imagined putting a fake beard on would be sort of really itchy. Simon didn’t know what it was like to grow facial hair at his young age but he had heard ALL kinds of stories about growing beards and moustaches. It seemed cool to him but the boy enjoyed his smooth baby skin at the moment. It was easy to maintain. Simon went to take another sip of his tea when he realized that he was all out.

Ah, it must be time to get going then. “Well, I have to be off. I have to go finish some homework before my next class. Thank you Professor Flamsteed for the book, the tea, and the chat. It was really awesome,” he said with a grin as he carefully stood up, cradling the book in his arms.

"Oh no, I'm fine where I am," he nodded. He only sat in HIS chair and it was currently being occupied against his better judgement. But his slight frown was turned upside down by Mr. Scabior's inquiry. "The probability will certainly increase depending on the subject matter, but I would hope that I am a rather tolerant man that encouraged curiosity." Within reason at least.

Seer. Twitch. No...certainly not that, but to a first year like the boy in front of him who - at least from his observations - did not seem to know too much about the muggle world it WAS the logical conclusion to come to. Even if he had not too positive of opinions on Seers. "Visionaries, would be my preferred term. Scientific and technological visionaries who tapped into their creativity and applied it to the technology of the time and saw ways to improve it." Not Seers, okay?

He placed both hands on his desk again, after giving Pebbles a few taps on top of her rocky head, and leaned against it. "My interest in solar system stuff," he said, using air quotes around the boy's term. "Came from watching Star Trek, but it is certainly not the sole reason why I enjoy it, but my adoration for the franchise comes from something else entirely." Was he seriously about to share some of his feelings with a first year? An endearing and inquisitive first year, but still a student that he was not too familiar with yet. Sharing this side of him was...quite personally really. "It gave me something to aspire to. To boldly go where no one has go before."

Kyroh pushed off doing a measly little spin as the Professor decided not to sit? Maybe old people liked to stand sometimes? His gaze landed on Flamsteed, digesting the idea of the man being TOLERANT. "Then why don't you like glitter?" What kind of tolerant person didn't like glitter? The FAKE tolerant person that's what kind!

...The first year was onto you Flamsteed. You and your fake levels of tolerance.

It was a shame. Because Kyroh had- before entering the office - believed that Flamsteed was the grown up to GO to for problems and stuff and he wouldn't feel bothered at all.

So who would he go to now?

".....What if they were visionaries who were secretly seers?" Stare. Stare, stare. I mean, Muggles had superheroes. They didn't NEED anything else, and the visionary seers just tried to improve stuff, yeah? He spun again.

OOHHH go where no one had gone before? Something to aspire to? Kyroh STOPPED spinning and RAISED his hand. "Can I HELP you sir? I'm a good helper and I can figure stuff out and help you go where no one has gone before. But not if you mean like under the Black Lake cause that's frozen."

Therapy? Yes.

Hogwarts. The castle. The inanimate object that was Hogwarts castle was out to get him.

............okay then.

He gave Pebbles a small shrug and one of this 'I dunno' looks.

Pinching the bridge of his nose and shutting his eyes tight, he took a few deep breaths while he processed everything. Ravenclaws. Why was it always Ravenclaws? At least he hadn't said something absurd like the boy had seen the Grim in his tea leaves or something. "I can personally guarantee to you, Mr. Wallace, that Hogwarts has no personal vendetta against you." He took a peek into the teapot, added a few ingredients including some chili flakes, and poured some of the spicy and sweet liquid into a cup. "Here. Drink this. Flamsteed Flu Brew. My grandmother's recipe."

Rather ... ironic though, wasn't? Being concerned that he had come down with a deadly flu, yet refused to go to the Hospital Wing. Clearly wasn't really all THAT afraid now, was he?

Ooooh, she didn't know Ella had also drawn something for him... that was cute.

He gave the young woman before him a friendly nod. Wait and see, yes, this was important. He had more sound advice on the matter, but trusted Miss Wisteria to already know she needed to put her wants before others. Merlin had his mother been upset when he had said he wanted to be an astronaut - all the dangers and came with the profession - but he hadn't let his ambition waver and expected the same from the future astrophysicist. He was, of course, basing his assumption based on what he had observed in class; her focus and driven nature. "Stellar," he grinned, not noticing the blushing. Not that noticing it would have mattered anyway.

Nothing? NOTHING. Sweet solstice he hadn't taken Miss Wisteria to be the modest sort when it came to her achievements. How incredibly Hufflepuff of her. Heh.

Ah yes, Mr. Gunter's drawing. The one that had briefly made him feel a little subconscious about the size of his forehead. He had since been convinced otherwise, however. So he simply chuckled at Miss Wisteria's comment and nodded some more. "Over the sofa is perfect. That way I can always admire it from my desk. I'll just move my Rorschach test artwork elsewhere." He was going to need more wall space in his office soon...or perhaps just be more selective with what he put up so as to avoid a cluttered appearance.

Wand out, he levitated the framed artwork down to the sofa, setting them there gently, and then conjured a large frame for his gift from Miss Wisteria. A few moments later, her artwork was mounted on the wall...which he was now painstakingly adjusting by the tiniest of movements to ensure that it was straight. "Yes, that looks quite nice there," he nodded.

Now he just needed to figure out where to put these other pieces. Maybe on the wall by his tie display case.

Vacation...summer vacation was soon. Although it was looking doubtful that they would be able to leave the castle. Real pity too, he had some real exciting vacation plans. Starting with the field trip with students. "Would be a happy coincidence if it did," he winked. He was a lot of things, but not a stalker. Just in case such thoughts were implied somewhere.

"Facial hair and myself don't mix well," he laughed. No, but seriously. They didn't. In fact, when he had aged last term he STILL wasn't able to grow a proper beard. It was more...grey patches here and there, but nothing that resembled a true beard. He had hardly even needed to shave really...but the shaving he had done had been a mild disaster. Little bits of tissue all over his face to cover up all the nicks and razor burns.

"Oh, you are quite welcome, Mr. Simon. If you ever have the need for more Star Trek literature...you know where to come," he said while offering the Slytherin a quick salute that then morphed into a Vulcan one. "Live long and prosper."

They were still talking about glitter? "Have you ever gotten some glitter in your eye, Mr. Scabior? It is a rather unpleasant experience. Same for unintentionally swallowing it." Glitter belonged in those muggle lava lamps and on tiny children's artwork. Not on pants...or all over his seating area, for the record.

Oh sweet solstice, stop with the Seer talk! Again, the fear of tears kept the astronomer calm and collected. "That is a possibility, although true Seers are extremely rare." EXTREMELY rare and even then he was not really a believer in the whole predicting the future game. Firm and stubborn believer in self fulfilling prophecies. "There have been many witches and wizards in history who used their magical abilities to get by in the muggle world." Including some professors as well.

Oh WOAH there...there was a hand being raised. Not a classroom setting, so really not necessary. The enthusiasm was appreciated though."No no, not the Black Lake," he laughed with a small dismissive hand wave. "Although where Star Trek goes would require us to be able to leave the castle and travel to outer space...which means we would be in need of a rocket ship." Which would be rather impossible for them to construct to full scale, obviously. But if the Ravenclaw was in need of a hobby to keep himself occupied... "How are your constructions skills?" he teased.

Interesting. When has Lotus placed someone else's wants before hers? Exactly. Though, there's always a first time for everything, this was her future they were talking about, and she deserved the best. No sorting hats to mess things up this time around. Focused and driven, that's right. But now there are plenty of things to consider, too, Flamsteed.

ZOMG! His next words! The sofa wall was indeed THE BEST one so far, because he could see it whenever. Talk about favorites and constant reminders. So as long as he doesn't decide to move it later on, then everything was okay. So, she smiled again, and nodded, "Seems like the perfect place, then." Perfect place was perfect.

She watched, quietly, as she sipped the remainder of her tea, if there was any left by now. Once it was placed on the wall the sixth year nodded in agreement. "It looks brilliant up there." Almost as if it was meant to be there all along. And it was relatively away from Oakey's, too. WIN-WIN.

"Thank you, for everything, Professor," she said, after a few moments of admiring her own work, "You've been of great help. Always." Cue sweet smile. From day one, yo! But now it was time to leave, yes? Probably, yes. "Let me know about those home school courses once you're able to get in touch, yes?" Important, it was.

Picking up the other pictures from the sofa, he tucked them both under his right arm and took a few steps back once he had adjusted the left side just a tiiiiiiiiiiiiiny bit more so that he was sure it was perfectly even. "It certainly does," he grinned as he flashed the artwork to big thumbs up. Yep, you have been approved you inanimate object you.

"Always a pleasure, Miss Wisteria. The moment it looks as though an owl could survive the flight that request will be on its way," he said with a salute. His floo was not nearly consistent enough to use...not to mention that his connection resided in a muggle town and did not have his fireplace hooked up to the floo. Rather bitter fellow, really. Being a squib that had disowned the wizarding world so to speak. But details that were certainly not all that important to the topic at hand. "You have a stellar rest of your day."

Good to know they were definitely agreeing on this, because now that it was mounted and everything, it looked like a masterpiece up there. Don't ever take it down, Airey Flamsteed. It's quite a brilliant artwork. If, however, Airey decided to leave Hogwarts one day, then he was more than free to take it with him. Actually, he ought to.

Another wide smile went his way, and she kept on nodding as he spoke. Quite frankly, the weather better improve soon. They'll all freeze to death if it doesn't. Not to mention they could run out of food quite soon. "Excellent!" As soon as the weather warms up some, then. "Same to you, Professor!" One final look at the artwork was her cue to leave.

Though, surely, this wouldn't be the last visit. Yet.
