This was only the most logical stop for the Gryffindor before resigning herself to the Prefect's Compartment later or compartment hopping. After a long term of nothing but snow and castle walls, one could only expect that Alexa had run out of candy, most depressing of all, chocolate. Of course she could have waited to hit the station then a proper candy shop but what would she do on the ride back? Snacks needed to be had.

Felix shuffled about restlessly in her arms, changing this way and that until he was able to find a position comfortable enough to suit him. It was just as well he did, this line was ridiculous. You stop to get rid of a trunk and suddenly the entire Hogwarts population has a spot infront of you in the line.

The nerve of it all. Were she in a bit more of a hurry she'd have minded but there was still miles of nothing but train tracks before them so.....just waiting.

Angel had no idea why she had decided to come to the food trolley, it wasn't like she didn't have any food already. With all the bad weather most of her stash of food was still in her trunk. She had a lot of muggles sweets in her trunk, she had Mars Bars, Twix's and a few bar of chocolate left.

Angel was thinking about why she had come here when she suddenly saw someone that she knew but hadn't seen much. "Hey How are you today?" Angel looked at the older girl. "Can I say your the most awesome prefect I've ever met." Angel hadn't really met many. She knew this girl was one of the Gryffindor Prefect but she didn't know who the other Prefect of Gryffindor was.

Despite there being nothing but green countryside just outside the window of the corridor she stood in, Lex found her full attention drawn there or rather her gaze considering the Gryffindor had zone out. Thoughts of King's Cross, her father and one Alice Fischer waiting there had he true focus. Not even Felix stirred in warning of new company. He must have been just as fixed on the idea of finally getting away from the castle. At least at home he'd be able to roam.

Lex's gaze fell to the Gryffindor with Aubrey's face. Angel wasn't it? Funny how she hardly ran into this one but her sister seemed to be all over the place and the other, practically non-existent. "I'm grand actually. I'm officially of age today, means I can do what I want even after we get back to London." Lex enjoyed all her birthdays but there was something EXTRA special about this one and she couldn't help but grin as she thought about it.

Oh? Compliments too? "Reckon you can say anything you want." Far be it for Lex to try telling her otherwise, especially when she liked what she was hearing. "But it's nice hearing it, let's me know I haven't done a crap job this past term." So long as you didn't count her abandoning her post....

Angel looked at Lex and smiled. "That is awesome." Angel had no idea what it would be like to be of age. In some way she thought it would be awesome because she would be able to do anything she wanted but in other ways it meant that she was growing old and that meant she had to work herself and it meant she would be nearly time to leave school and she never wanted to leave Hogwarts.

"So what are you doing this summer?" Angel beamed at the Prefect. She was so glad that she had finally met the Prefect that had helped Gryffindor win the house cup. She was going to try and help Alexa win the house cup for Gryffindor next year because she wanted this prefect to win the house cup in her last year at the school because she was that awesome.

Lex nodded her agreement. "More than awesome, but I don't suspect you'll see it for what it is til you're a bit older." What did Alexa want at 12? She found herself wondering this now. Back then it was all about chocolate frogs and having her father get them for her. She didn't want to be old enough to have to get them for herself. Man, what had she been thinking? The new freedom she felt COULD be compared to a large stash of chocolate frogs. There was a certain power that came with being old enough and she now had it. "You'll get it one day."

Inquisitive one this one. For a moment Lex tried to remember if Aubrey asked half as many questions? Usually the girl was too busy DOING. Interesting. "I've got quite a few plans. Annual sleepover with Cassia, heading to California with Lottie for a week and gonna go sky diving then amusement park enjoying with Aidan." At least...those were her major plans anyway. "Outside of that, I'll probably waste my time around Diagon Alley until we have to visit my grandparents in August." So yes, she was in for a VERY busy summer.

"What about you? Anything epic?" And look, the line was finally starting to move again. It was about time.

Being on the train had finally hit Adelaide that she was done with Hogwarts forever. She still wasn't super upset and wasn't on the verge of tears or anything, but she hadn't gotten a chance to find her favorite little Hufflepuff at the feast. She'd been so busy hanging out with her snakes for the last time.

That's where she was headed: to find Lux. But first a stop at the food trolley. She could go for a chocolate frog. Not to mention she'd depleted all of her sweets stores by handing them out to professors and what not. Her eyes scanned over the trolley trying to decide if a chocolate frog was all she wanted.

Her stash of Chocolate Frogs seriously depleted, Lux decided to make a stop at the food trolley to pick up some more before heading home. Maybe she would grab a few other sweets as well.

Joining the line, the little redhead was pleasantly surprised to see one of her favourite Seventh Years right in front of her. "Addi!" Eagelry she wrapped her arms around the older girl. "I was hoping I would find you."

Speaking of her favorite little Puff...there she was. Adelaide wrapped her arms tight around the younger girl. "I was just on my way to look for you. I got caught up at the feast and wasn't able to say goodbye there." Even though it wasn't really going to be goodbye. They still had the summer and Hogsmeade weekends for now.

She let go of Lux. "You hear to stock up on some sweets too?"

Penelope wasn't really as hungry as she typically was on these train rides, but that wasn't gonna stop her from buying something one last time from the food trolley. She could get these sweets from anywhere, but it wasn't exactly the same, y'know? So it seemed right to buy at least one thing from here one more time.

Once it was her turn, she decided on a couple sugar quills, and once they were paid for, she turned to head back to her compartment.

Time for a snack! She was certainly needing one, especially since Sebastian was sleeping back in the compartment, so it was perfect the opportunity to grab a snack while her cat was sleeping. And hopefully she could possibly buy something quickly before her mischievous cat would wake up & try disappearing on her again. For now, she stood in line as she awaited her turn to purchase some sweets.

Come to think of it, what snack would she buy?

Hmm....

Kace went down to the food trolley because he could really use a snack. His tummy was making the rumblies. He massaged his stomach and promised it he was getting food. As he waited on line he noticed the girl he met at the castle. She lost her kitty or something like that. He smiled and made his way over. "Heyy did you happen to find your kitty you were looking for?" He was concerned for the animals health and just plain curious.

Angel wasn't sure if she would ever want to do anything else other than being a kid, because she would have to buy her own shoes and clothes and she would have to work and do annoying things that her mother had to do. She would have to work and she's have to do a few things that she didn't think she would like to do but she wasn't going to say anything to Alexa about that.

"That sounds like a great summer." Angel wished she could do things like that. "Oh I'm just going to spend time with my family and I'm going to just hang out with a few friends." Angel had no idea what else she was going to do. She hoped that her family would go on holiday like they normally did but she wasn't sure.

Lex's summer would be more than great but she didn't feel like correcting the Firs--ah, wait, Second Year Officially. Words were words and Alexa didn't much bother with them. She knew what her summer was going to be like and in fact when she thought about it, words wouldn't have done it justice anyway so the Gryffindor merely nodded. "I take it you made yourself a decent group of friends this year, huh?" It would have been nice to know. Lex didn't see this one much but the kid seemed to do alright for herself.

"Just think it's gonna be nice seeing the sun again. I don't care how much hotter London feels, I'm ready to be back there." Even heading to the train this morning, she couldn't deny that it felt a bit nippy. YOU WERE NOT MEANT TO FEEL THAT WAY IN SUMMER. "And Felix will be glad he can run about again, we both will be." Locked inside for months, that did strange things to a person's mind. Could try most to insanity.

Angel smiled at the prefect. "I've made a few great friend, though for some reason my best friend is a second year." Angel didn't know why that had worked out but she was glad that she had met Leah and she hoped that they could meet up soon.

"I know how you feel." Angel really couldn't wait until they arrived at London because then she could actually do stuff that was approved for summertime, like swimming and playing at the park and she couldn't wait for that.

It was so awesome now they had both been wanting to see each other then BAM ran into each other at the food trolley. Candy was awesome like that. "I should have stopped by at the Slytherin table, but I didn't have the time to." What with one thing and then another. Lux knew that Addi would be cool with it though.

"Of course I am." Giggle. "I need more Chocolate Frogs." This girl never had enough.

Huh, would you look at that. "That's neat. Back in my first year, I had a Second Year for a bestfriend." But Lex wouldn't go on to mention how horrid it was when you hit your sixth year and your bestfriend was leaving. Angel still had a few years to figure that out on her own. Still plenty of adventures to be had.

And another nod. "Hopefully they proper get rid of the cold before we get back. Usually the problems disappear over the summer." Kinda like making way for new problems that were sure to come later on.

It was a cycle.
