A random stretch of wall on the seventh floor happens to contain the hidden Room of Requirement. Simply walk past the Room of Requirement Wall three times thinking only of what you require, and the room will reveal itself to the worthy.

Dora had to FIND her gift for Mo, since her pet had somehow managed to make a mess of her things while chasing a stray kneazle that probably belonged to a first year, and then had to.... leave the mess. She left it because cleaning wasn't a priority at the moment, and packed up the necessities in her shoulder pouch.
It didn't take long to get the entrance to appear, and when it had, instead of entering she just leaned beside the door with a medium sized box, awaiting the arrival of her fellow house and year mate.

Dora was one of those people who never looked hurried. It didn't matter if she was late for something, or had a last minute assignment, or was feeling harassed. She just looked composed all the time, and part of that, Mo was sure, had to do with the fact that she simply didn't care if she was late or had something due. The clock in Dora's head just told her that whatever time it was happened to be the right time, and that whatever was stressing someone else was of no importance to her.
It was sort of enviable, especially to Mo, who tried to be early everywhere he went and still felt like he managed to show up out of breath and harassed looking. At least his shirt was tucked in and his trousers pressed. "Hi," he grinned broadly at the waiting seventh year. "Ready for our last party?"

Dora didn't bother with removing herself from the wall when she spotted Mo, she only fixed her face into a lazy grin. Even if he was harassed and out of breath, he was still here and that was all that mattered since nothing could start without them both being present. "Hey." Her eyes flickered to the door briefly before returning to him. "I'm ready for a lot of lasts, but I'm not ready to count this as one. I still expect presents from you post-graduation." She was joking, but only about the presents part. The prefect still hoped to do stuff like this with Mo when they were full fledged adults.
"You should go in first." Dora inclined her head toward the entrance, still not moving from the wall. She'd not been waiting long, but had spent some time thinking about what would appear inside, since she needed things to occupy her mind and this seemed like a safe one.
And what Mo would find when passing through the door is a room covered from wall to wall in blankets, something akin to a blanket fort but with higher ceilings and more space to allow for easier movement. Lanterns lit up the room, showing the numerous comfy couches, couch cushions and pillows for seating, and also a sole table in the center of it all for them to sit at.

Mo just raised an eyebrow in Dora's direction before putting his hand to the door. Of course, they probably would hang out again, although Mo wasn't always sure that Dora would want anything to do with him after they graduated. Forced companionship was one thing, but if she could choose her company... would she ever choose Mo?
"You will always have a present from me, Isidora Yelena. As long as you have birthdays. Deal?" That sort of forced her to keep him in her life forever and ever. "Happy birthday, by the way."

Cris led Jasmine to the seventh floor and to exact location, Sander had told him where he had found the Room of Requirements. Stepping up to the wall, Cris reached out and touched it before stepping back.
"Sander told me that we have to walk past this wall three times while thinking what we want our room to be. Why don't you go first?," Cris offered Jasmine first dibs at picking her room. They could always check out hers first and then they could come out and he would take his turn coming up with a room of his own.

When Cris and Jasmine arrived at the place where the Room of Requirement should be, she was surprised. All of the time she had spent on the seventh floor of the castle, she had no idea that she was so close to it. Charlie would be surprised too when Jasmine told her about it.
Jasmine listened carefully to Cris' instructions for gaining entrance to the room. She smiled when he allowed her to go first. "OK, I'll give it my best shot", she said. Starting to walk back and forth in front of the wall, Jasmine said to herself, "We need a dance studio, somewhere to practice dancing." She pictured a roomy dance studio with wooden floors, walls covered with mirrors and barre running the length of one wall. She visualized two comfy chairs for when they needed to take a break. They also needed something to provide music. All of this was going through Jasmine's mind as she walked past the wall three times.
When Jasmine finished, she looked at the wall somewhat doubtfully. After a few seconds, a door appeared in the wall in front of them. Turning to Cris, she excitedly said, "It worked!". Grabbing his hand, she said, "Come on". "Let's go inside."

Seeing the door appear in the wall, Cris clapped enthusiastically congratulating Jasmine. "Well done, you made the wall appear. Did you wish for a dance studio?" he asked her remembering that she had mentioned wanting one.
But then she grabbed hold of his hand and proceeded to pull him inside the room. Seeing how excited she was, he quickly followed her in.

Jasmine nervously waited for Cris outside of the Room of Requirement. She had lured him there under the guise of having her first martial arts lesson........which she did intend to have. However, she had a little something extra planned for him. Jasmine was a little worried because she wasn't exactly sure how everything would turn out. She hoped that Cris would be pleased. Well, time would tell......

As always on time and punctual. That was Jasmine. Cris smiled as he walked up to join her as she waited in front of the Room of Requirement. Leaning over he gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"My apologies for keeping you waiting, my lady. I had to finish up on my DADA homework before coming here. So are you ready for your first materials arts lesson?" Cris smiled at her as he took her hand in his.
"If yes, lead the way," Cris stepped aside to allow Jasmine to conjure up her dance studio again.

"It's OK, you're worth the wait.", Jasmine said smiling. She was not always patient, but Cris rarely kept her waiting so it was not a problem. "I'm just very glad to see you and yes, I am sooo ready for my lesson."
Jasmine walked up to the wall where the door to the Room of Requirement should be. Then she pictured their dance studio and walked back and forth in front of the wall three times. Before she knew it, the door appeared in front of them. "After you", Jasmine said, allowing Cris to enter the room.

He’s the luckiest boy ever. Ethan wondered how in Hades’ graying pants he survived the school exploration with Josette who is standing sooooo close to him. Today’s activity only comprised a few hours of snowboarding to perfect his skills, while taking advantage of the bloody weather, but then something happened. Something even better than snowboarding. Who would have thought that the girl back in Muggle Studies would also be out in the snow? Who would have thought that she will see him, and remember him from class, then decided to hang out? The Slytherin wore a grin of happiness and pride. He really didn’t think she’d hang out with him, what with her being so shy and reserved? Ethan’s a fun kid, sure, but the boy did not realize that this can happen. And so soon too!
As soon as they reached the seventh floor and opened and closed random doors, they ended up at the left corridor with a blank wall up ahead. “Well, we looked everywhere and apparently there is no music room in this castle.” Ethan sighed and looked around them. All were classrooms, some were trophy and practice rooms, but no space for musical items. “I really want to play that song for you. It has been a while since I last played it.” And the last time he did was during his mother’s funeral. It is a sad memory, but the music was something. It did bring memories of her mother, but the melody surely made room for new ones as well. Though he won’t admit it out loud, he badly wants Josette to be part of that happy memory.

Aside from the fact that there had been a lot of walking & searching going on in this GIANT castle, she had to admit, she was actually enjoying this new adventure. She'd discovered so many different corridors she'd HAVE to visit more often when she had the chance, they were the PERFECT place to do some reading & writing too! Josette would make a mental note for practically everything they'd passed as they searched each classroom & practice room. But that there was the sad part, that there extra classroom & practice rooms that one might want to use to practice their music, but no music room in general. At least, this Ethan boy was with her doing this, because otherwise, she probably would've been lost amongst these new surroundings AGES ago!
Before she knew it they had somehow made it to the seventh floor & were about to head towards an empty wall. She sighed as he spoke & nodded, "Y-Yeah...I guess not..." It was actually pretty sad, because she'd hadn't really gotten the chance to practice any of her playing since she'd left home this passed summer & she wanted to find out if she'd remember anything at all. She heard him speak of the last time he'd played the song & she couldn't help but become curious, "..W-When was the last time you'd played it?" Looking ahead of her again, she'd noticed they were almost by the blank wall. Should they turn around now & end their search?

To be honest, this was really, really, really frustrating. He wanted to somehow…sort of…show off his not-so-perfect piano skills, but alas, NO ROOM FOR THAT. Ethan had to control himself from stomping his foot in disappointment. The Slytherin instead walked towards the massive blank wall, thinking really hard about their piano back home. A small grin formed on his lips as he remembered the time he would bug his mother every single day before breakfast to play that short piece for him. It started his every morning on a different note, and this lead him to learn it from her. Days passed and he was able to master that one piece, and since then, he never failed to play it for his mother while she was preparing their breakfast.
Ethan broke out of his reverie when Josette started to talk. Her voice was so soft, but Ethan found it rather cute. Her question however made his grin fade slowly. Ethan hung his head as they walked and mused if he should tell her or just…you know, change the subject. The Slytherin sighed as they reached the blank wall, turned his back against it and sat on the floor. Ethan turned to Josette and patted the space beside him, gesturing her to sit down. “The last time? I played it during my mom’s funeral. It was her favourite piece, you see, and I knew that she’d love it if I played it one last time for her.” The Slytherin was incredibly close to his mother, and her death did change his life immensely. Thank Merlin his optimism didn’t wither, all thanks to his cousin who was too protective of him. “How about you, Josette? When was the last time you played?” he asked as he held on to the picture of their piano room. “Also…can I call you Jo? Or…do you have a nickname that I can call you by?”

Well judging by the fact that Ethan wasn't turning around, it seemed that the blank wall was looking like their destination. Maybe he needed to take a break from all of their walking? She wouldn't blame him if he wanted to, she didn't mind. As they were nearing the blank wall, she couldn't help but give a quick glance towards the boy, only briefly, before looking at the blank wall once again.
She looked at him as she waited for him to answer her questions she'd asked not too long ago. Josette suddenly noticed his face suddenly look very sad. Had she said something wrong? Did she upset or offend him? She hadn't meant to honest! Josette was mentally beginning to panic as he suddenly grew silent. Then before she knew it he was putting his back against the wall & went to sit on the floor. Should she leave & give him a moment or something? Was he upset with her now? Did he ha-oh, what is it he was doing? He was patting the floor beside him, did he want her to sit with him? Josette hesitated briefly before she taking a second to sit in the place he'd patted beside him. Her eyes widened a little bit as he told her that the last time he'd played was during his own mother's funeral. She couldn't help but automatically begin to apologize, "O-Oh, E-Ethan, I'm s-so sorry..I didn't know..I-I shouldn't have b-brought up s-such a silly question..I-I'll understand if you're u-upset with me...I-I'm so sorry.."
She fidgeted a little bit feeling so terrible for making him bring up such a matter. Father would be very upset with her for being so rude just now. He'd asked her a question, but she didn't look at him, still feeling ashamed of her rudeness. The last time she played, "W-Well..t-the last time I played..was right before th-the summer had ended..." She gave him a side glance as she noticed him holding a picture of room with a piano inside of it. The second year would then hear him ask her if he could call her Jo? Come to think of it, nobody had called her that before, but not that she really minded. She shrugged, "I-If you want t-to..A lot of p-people...have called me Josie...My f-father calls me J-Josie.." She didn't mind.

.....
What was that noise?
Ethan did space out for a while at the mention of her mother. He misses her a whole lot, and more now that his life is suddenly becoming eventful. He’s got questions that, maybe, only a mother could answer? This made the boy realize that he really needs to bond with his real dad. The Slytherin could not imagine what his dad is going through right now. Aldred never knew he has a son, and that he missed at least 13 years of Ethan’s life. It didn’t help too that he will never see his first love, ever again. The man however is slowly realizing that he doesn’t have to wallow in such emotions, if Ethan’s out there willing to spend time with him. Aldred could see so much of Cassandra in his son; his enthusiasm, determination, and optimism to achieve his own goal.
The third year simply grinned at Josette and scratched the back of his head. “Nah, it’s okay. You didn’t know in the first place.” Really, she’s not to blame. And besides, his mother’s in a better place now. “And…that’s not enough reason for me to get mad at you.” He added as he gently nudged her arm. “…let’s not ruin this wonderful day, hmmkay?” Because he’d really hate it if one of them is feeling sad or guilty. No harm done!
Ethan eyed her fidgeting though, and the awkwardness that is slowly enveloping his friend. “Is that so? Your dad must love it everytime he hears you play the piano…” he said trying to make her feel good again. He supposed bringing his dad’s memory into play would help get rid of the awkwardness, yeah? Oh…and he could call her Jo? Awesome! “If most people call you, Josie…I’ll call you Jo then, so you’d know it’s me.” See? Being unique has its perks and whatnot. That also made the boy feel special somehow. It felt to him like he was claiming a right or something…anyway! “So, Jo! Where do we go to, next?” he asked as he leaned his head on the wall. The thing is, he’s not leaning on a wall anymore.
Ethan intentionally, banged the back of his head against the wall once more, and made a face. THUD.“That’s…weird. How come the wall’s gone softer?” If that was possible? Without looking behind him, he got his back off the surface and banged himself against it. Another thud, and a door opened behind him causing him to fall backwards.
THUD.
“What in the world? Where? What? There was no door there before!” he exclaimed a bit surprised as he stayed lying on the floor looking at the room’s ceiling. Hey wait a minute…he knows that ceiling!

How could she be so heartless like that? Really though, she should've just kept her big mouth shut. But at the same time, she found herself contemplating some things of her own in her frazzled brain. What about her own mother? Where was she living now? Does her father ever speak to her about Josie? Does her mother even care about her? Why doesn't she ever receive a letter or any birthday presents? Why does her father always try avoiding talking to the young girl about her own mother? She knows about how her mother left her father to be with some other man, but why would her mother just up & leave without any other cause?
....It just never made any sense to her..
'N-No crying, not in front of Ethan...
...N-No...'
Thankfully, before her eyes could even think of watering, Ethan had distracted her emotional mind when he'd said that it was alright, even though she still found it entirely rude & heartless to say such a thing. Although, she was rather happy that he wasn't mad though. She looked at him as he nudged her & nodded with a half smile. "Y-You're right....I-I'm sorry.." He thought this day was wonderful? ...Her cheeks feeling a bit warmer.
Was he noticing her fidgeting? Oh, drats, better stop, it was probably looking rather odd. As she was untangling her fingers from her hair she looked at him once he'd mentioned her father. Josette shrugged a little bit, "I-I believe he enjoys it? I-I wasn't very good in the beginning..But I wanted to m-make him happy.." Though recently, he certainly seemed to be liking her playing because when she'd play he was always usually asking her to play it two more times for him. Mainly the Classical pieces, one particularly written by Mozart, that she wasn't entirely remembering the name of at the moment, but if she had the keys in front of her, she could probably play it without even thinking twice.
It seemed he was really happy about being able to call her Jo, which she couldn't help but smile as he told her he'd call her Jo, so she'd know it was him. Hopefully it didn't sound like a boy's name though. But it was alright she supposed, it didn't really bother her. Hmmm, where to go next. Josette paused as she shrugged her shoulders & was just in the midst of asking if he'd maybe wanted to meet her owl Edwin, she noticed something.
....
There wasn't a wall behind them anymore. Josette watched as he lifted her back off of the wall & went to proceed banging his back/head against the "wall." Before she even realized it, he had hit the "wall" & was suddenly falling backwards. She whipped her head to look at him, only to see a DOOR opening into a ROOM. Giving a very puzzled look she was so very confused. Josette looked down at Ethan and then into the room.

"Y-You're right....I-I'm sorry.." He thought this day was wonderful? ...Her cheeks feeling a bit warmer.

....
"...W-What is t-this place?"
You know what Ethan hates? Seeing Jo real quiet. There seems to be so much going on inside her mind! The Slytherin wanted to know these things, but then held his tongue once more. What if Jo runs away because of it? Not good, hmmkay?
Ethan however grinned as soon as he saw Josie’s face take a peek on him. “This place looks like my home!...and if I’m not mistaken, there’s a piano over there.” He said as he pointed above his head still lying down. “Is there?” Because if not then this is not their house. “Hmm. But that’s weird though. There was no door a while ago.” He said as he lifted his head and looked at his feet. What he saw was the hallway they passed earlier. He laid his head back down and looked at the ceiling. “This is so cool! This must be some magical room or something!” Ethan didn’t waste any more time and slid his back further inside the room.
Nope. Not getting up anytime soon. Sliding on his back was ffuuuuuuun!
“If you can see a piano, I will play my mom’s favourite song for you!” Mhm! As promised.
And yes, this place feels oddly familiar to the boy.

This place looked like his home? She was intrigued. "..R-Really?" Not only that, there was a piano in the room? Josie looked into the room, then back down at Ethan, taking notice that he was still lying on his back. She smiled at him, briefly, before looking away to focus on the room. He was right, there was a piano in there & he was right that there wasn't a door there before. "I-It..literally appeared out of nowhere..." Did anyone else know about this place? "..D-Do you think it's forbidden?"
Josie took a second to stand up, expecting Ethan might too, but nope, nope she was wrong, he was sliding on his back into the room. Covering her mouth with her fingertips she giggled watching the curious boy do this funny action. Josie soon began following him into the room as she took in these new strange & curious surroundings she'd never seen before.
She nodded at Ethan, looking for a piano. It only took a second before she gasped pointed ahead of them. "I-I see one..Over there.." Getting a little eager, she quickened her pace ahead of him as she made her way towards the beautiful instrument in her sight.
