Are you ready for the Valentine's Day of a lifetime? If so, Welcome to the Half-Hearted Ball! Our prefects and captains have been working tirelessly to deliver you an event that will accommodate both the gushiest and grumpiest of characters. So do have a heart or half and join the fun!

[♥] Where is this all taking place?
The Great Hall is the setting for this event, split in half right down the middle; one side for you mushy lot, and the other for the heart haters.

[♥] Who can come?
Only Hogwarts students and staff may attend.

[♥] When is this taking place?
IC: On Sunday, 14th February, 2083.
OOC: From the 22nd of February to the 1st of March, 2014.

[♥] How will your character hear about this?
Students will hear about it through notice boards, student leaders, and chatter around the school.

[♥] What actually is all this craziness?
Like every other year, your student leaders work hard in order to create an event for Hogwarts students. This year we have gone with the theme of a ball!

Main Stage and Seating Area - Located at the front of the hall, this is where you first arrive. There are tables and food here to satisfy your hunger needs. Beside this there is a dancing area, directly in front of the staff dais. It has been transformed into a stage for your very own student band, the Dead Kneazles!


The remainder of the Great Hall is divided further into two sections.

Kisses for Kindness – Step right up to the Kissing Booth of your choice and take your pick of the Prefects to peck! Will it be Gryffindor’s candy-lipped Alexa Cambridge or Theodore Kinsley, Slytherin’s hottie with the Quidditch body? All it’ll cost you is a couple words of kindness- give a compliment, get a kiss!

Tunnel of Love – Do you little lovebirds want to get away from the crowd for a while and marinate in your romance? Mosey on over for a ride in the Tunnel of Love, but do be aware that if any snogging ensues, you're in for a wet surprise!

Stupid Cupid Game Center – Come enjoy the disastrous readings of Hogwarts' very own love tester machine! Afterwards, try your hand at a game of 'Shot to the Heart' along with a trusty bow and arrow. Not much of a sharp shooter? Feel free to express your Valentine's Day hatred with a whack to a piñata at 'Break-a-Heart'. It's the perfect spot for all you Scrooges!

Magical Photo Booth – Want to capture the moment on camera? Step up to the photo booth, conveniently located right beside an old trunk filled with all your prop needs. Once you’re ready, slip behind the curtain and get comfortable on the bench by yourself or with friends, and start making some memories!
