If anything, she was super excited to wear this dress. That was the highlight of her evening. YAY! Pretty dress, and shoes. Hair style,too. That took forever to get ready but with the charm it should hold. Mhhm. She'd totally rush to the prefect's bathroom to fix it if it came loose or something. Priorities. And yes she'd leave the station she was to man, in Kaiden's hands. Why else were there two to man this? Exactly for this reason.

The snake walked over to where she was assigned. No one was there yet. She casually pulled a mirror out of her purse. There was never enough fixing and checking.

Cassia eyed the gondola wondering if anyone would actually ride this thing? Would she? Her only concern was falling off it. Her life was too precious and so was her dress. And not like she had anyone to ride it with anyway.

Squinting ahead of her, she saw that people started arriving at other stations. Good, she was starting to get bored. And though she planned to have a tour herself around, she wasn't going to leave her place now. Maybe later.

Asher was pretty excited when he seen the gondolas. He wasn't going to lie. Growing up in Italy and all, he still liked to ride in them. It never old. Most of the gondola rides were meant to be romantic. So it was perfect for a valentines ball. Kudos guys kudos.

He couldn't believe that no one was in line yet. What??? Where was the valentines day sprint? Where was his valentine? She was coming right? She better be! Nah he knew she would be there. And once she seen the gondolas she would or should know where he was at waiting for her. They've had many of their own gondola rides in Italy.

He walked over to the line but didn't quite start one since he was waiting for his girl. He was feeling pretty good he used the potion from the potions lesson for his winkles and grandpa Romalotti send him some of his herb blend for his bad joints and aches.

He then spotted the Slytherin prefect checking her hair in a mirror. Although he had even spoken a word to her before he walked over closer to her and should socialize some while he wanted for Adeline. Right?

Sure

" You look nice, Cass." That was her name right? Cassie? Cassia? Cassidy? Something Cass he struck with that to be on the safe side.

Adeline couldn't have been late. She couldn't believe it. Did she really take that long to get ready? Adeline shrugged. The seventh years hair was back to her brown color and the wrinkles were going away and it was all thanks the Lux's older sister for getting her some hair dye and anti-wrinkle potion and something else for the pain. Seriously that girl was a life saver.

Honestly Adeline felt amazing today, she felt pretty, there weren't that many aches and pains going on, she was able to wear heels and a dress. She almost felt her age again. She really hated being old. Adeline was just a grumpy old person, Hogwarts really needed to get this sorted out. So whatever Lux's sister got her was working.

Adeline made her way to the Tunnel of Love, that was quite the name. She blushed just thinking about it. She just wanted to see Asher though, no one else just Asher Romalotti. Adeline made her way over to the line and found her Asher. A big grin grew on her face as she wrapped her arms around him. "Miss me?" she giggled.

Adeline was just so happy right now, she would jump up and down if she could but it would best if she didn't. She might break something and not feel it because of the pain reliever.

She was decided it was enough lipstick, and the strands of loose hair were styled in place. She just needed to not move too quickly or do sudden moves. Which shouldn't be hard while she stood here. Alone.

Not for long, though.

Smiling over at the seventh-year, "Thank you, Asher! You look good, too," Like all snakes did. Everyone knew that. Then he was joined by a girl whom Cassia didn't know but she was sure she'd seen her around.

Walking over to one of the gondolas, Cassia motioned with her hands, "You guys won't regret it, it's fun!" She actually had no idea if that was true but she was being a good prefect and encouraging people. They worked hard to plan this thing so it would great to see people enjoying it. She wondered if she should warn them that there was a charm in case they got too ..... comfortable with each other. She decided to let them find out on their own had it come to that.

She was sure there were quite a few students who were more interested in the anti-Valentine's things, but Caterina Moretti was certainly not one of them. She enjoyed all holidays and if this one meant she could make heart shaped pizzas and look fabulous in red, then she was all for it. "Tunnel of amore." She grinned at the boy. Yep. Tunnel of love, yep. Cat was there. With Mo, of course, because who else would she be touring a tunnel of love with?

"Want to?" Hmmmm? She tugged on his hand and wiggled her eyebrows ridiculously. How could he possibly say no to that?

Hope was alone, there was no mistaking that as she approached the Tunnel of Love. One may ask why she was there, but it was obvious right? She was there to ride in a gondola thing. Alone, obviously. There were no rules that said that she couldn't though. Nope. She padded softly trying to ignore all the other couples around her and crossed her fingers that she wouldn't be turned away on the small technicality of being alone. After all, how often do you get to ride around in a gondola in a school?

"You look very pretty," Mo informed Cat, with complete seriousness because such statements could not be made lightly. She always looked pretty, but today she looked very pretty. And red. Like a Valentine.

His Valentine was a Valentine.

"It looks sorta cheesy, doesn't it? I mean... I would obviously love to go with you, but maybe it's too cheesy." Plus they weren't supposed to snog the face off their girlfriends in the tunnel, but Mo wasn't sure what else one was supposed to do sitting in the dark. "I wish we had our rubber ducks with us."

Someone save her. Please? Anyone?

Olly could already hear the music from out here and they hadn't even entered the tunnel yet. The Tunnel of Love. She turned her head to stare at Schuyler next to her for a loooooong moment as if to remind herself WHY she was here. Yes, that. Coming to the ball was one thing. But THIS, this was just............very very pink.

"You do know that if it wasn't for you I'd be waaaaay over there at the other side of the room?" Actually, she probably wouldn't even be here. Or just to see the band. But she'd definitely NOT be participating in any of the Valentine's Day things. So not.

Somehow she was still grinning though.

Looking back at Schuyler she gestured towards one of the gondolas. "After you." Lets get this over with.

An instant grin appeared on her face at Mo's completely serious compliment. "Thank you." She smoothed down her dress and tilted her head, "You don't think I look too casual?" Because goodness, she'd seen some crazy long dresses and Cat was not wearing a crazy long dress. She'd much rather show off her legs than wear a long dress if she had the choice. Long dresses made her look short. She didn't need any help in that department.

Too cheesy? Cat gave Mo looks. "Says the boy who got his friend to dress in a gorilla costume." She kissed his cheek and squeezed his hand. "Maybe it is too cheesy, but that's why we have to do it. We just can't not." Catcus enjoyed their cheese.

"We would probably lose them in there, though." Cat paused and then added, "Don't lose me, though. I don't like the dark." Okay? Okay. Time for a gondola ride.

"Casual? You're wearing a dress, and half the girls are in jeans or skirts. Don't fuss." Mo took Cat's hand and let himself be led toward the gondola. The water wasn't all that deep, since he'd helped build this ride... and it wasn't all that dark in there. Too bad the squirting charms were just as well constructed as everything else.

"We're not single-handedly in charge of representing cheesy to the student body. Just so you know. There isn't any have to do, just want to do. If you want to do it, then we'll do it." And Cat obviously did, so now they were getting in a boat. No big deal.

He still wanted his ducklings.

Cat flipped her dress in his direction. She was indeed wearing a dress. She liked wearing dresses, so it all worked out super well for her. "Maybe I like to fuss." Just a little. Just a little. She did not let go of his hand at all, not while tugging him to the boat and not while stepping inside it, and not even after that. Valentine's Day was a day for holding hands, obviously.

"We could be, though. I enjoy it." They weren't always cheesy. They had serious conversations and such, but sometimes it was just fun to be cheesy. "D'you know what we should do, though? We should take a trip to Venice this summer and ride in a gondola there." She wiggled her eyebrows again. "What do you think about that?"

Now since the noticeable signs of this old person condition, Schuyler had made it her mission to at least LOOK like she was unaffected by it. The way she got up from her seat at times or moved in a sluggish way may have given her away sometimes, but thanks to Culloden's anti-wrinkle lesson and charming her hair color incessantly, Schuyler looked quite like her sixteen-year-old self. If not, a little MORE done up tonight because it was Valentine's and she wanted to look extra good for Olly.

Olly who claimed she would so be an anti-Valentine today if it weren't for her. This earned her a grin. "I'm aware of that, yes." Which made it mean all the more to Schuyler for Olly to come tonight. Plus, she basically had to. It was pretty much one of those rules of dating that they had discussed when they first became girlfriends. Except this one specifically hadn't been discussed. It was common knowledge though, yes?

She stepped into one of the gondolas and took a seat, her one hand oddly closed in a fist all the while. "Apparently we get squirted with water if we make out." Really, Hogwarts? It was VALENTINE'S DAY.

Cassia was glad people were starting to come here! See she was about to get jealous that the other stations were getting more visits from where she was standing. And she herself, planned on paying a visit to the other places. Just not yet. She wanted to go hear the Dead Kneazles playing. She couldn't miss that! As well as meeting with friends.

Seeing that no one needed anything from her, she didn't interfere.

Though as she casually watched making sure everything was under control though what could go wrong she noticed a little girl there standing by herself. Stepping closer to her, Cassia smiled at the girl, "Hi, there," That wasn't annoying, right? "Are you waiting for someone?" Juuuust casually chatting with lil ones here since she had nothing better to do.

Ignoring the fact that this was for couples, Lux dragged Bay along to the tunnel of love. There were boats, and she wanted to ride on a boat, okay? It wasn't like they were going to come back soaked, because she was not going to kiss him. Not even once. She didn't even want to kiss him.

Smiling as she spotted the Prefect in charge of the event, she waited to go on the boats.

Trying to keep a smile on his face while Lux dragged him to this ride… "alright… I'm coming.. no need to keep pulling" he said laughing. Bay looked up.. "errr this is where you wanted to go" he saw the sign that said Tunnel of Love… oh great.. what did Lux get him into now..

Bay stopped when Lux stopped.. oh there was a line.. groannnnnnn……

"i love boats" he said to her… trying to make things a lot easier on him.. this was just as friends and he was cool with that..

Oh, right. The dragging thing.

Feeling bad, Lux let go of his hand. Sometimes she forgot that her friends were a lot older than her now because of the weird ageing thing that was happening.

"I love boats too. I hope you don't mind coming with me on this?" Since... they weren't dating or anything... But it seemed like it was okay, because he went stag. If he was still with Christmas, he wouldn't, right?

It was okay going on this ride with him if he didn't have a girlfriend; even if it was an innocent ride, she would have felt bad otherwise.

"awesome cucumber.. and no ofcourse i don't mind none at all…" he said patting her back.. "what are friends for right" he gave her a wink.

"soo errr how long is this ride supposed to be?" he asked.. for the less amount of time he was in there the better, you know because of his claustrophobia. He hoped it wasn't too small or dark in there.. he started to get nervous… what if he had a freak out in there and poor Lux got pushed in the water or something??

everything was going to be alright… phew… breathe Bay breathe...

Awesome! Lux was happy that he didn't mind coming with her. He was so nice. "I'm not sure how long it will be, but I'm sure it won't be too bad for you." Oh dear, she remembered he was claustrophobic. That was not a good thing... hopefully it wouldn't be too small in there and he wouldn't have a freak out.

He was such a good friend, and on impulse she grabbed his face and kissed him.

Bay had his fingers crossed that it wasn't too long.. and it was very helpful that she was being so nice. looking at the entrance he didn't see it coming… all he felt was two hands on both sides of his face and all he saw was a blur of red hair….

and then something on his lips….

HIS LIPS!!!!!

Bay stood there face and body frozen into place… what the…..everything was going fine to him…why did she kiss him.. was it one of those kissing boy craze that she seemed to be going through or did she like..like..him…..

Bay didn't know what to say he was just frozen he managed to spit on one word.. "Thanks?" he knew his face didn't show it but he was grinning on the inside.

"Good." As long as she was aware of that. Olly tried to give Schuyler a serious look but failed almost immediately. Looking at the Gryffindor just made her lips curl into a grin. It was inevitable it seemed. Her girlfriend clearly had had more success with getting rid of her wrinkles than herself, too. At least Olly had also managed to dye her hair back to its original color.

Not that that made her look even remotely as pretty as Schuyler was.

Following the other girl into the gondola, Olly was about to sit down when..."What?" They weren't allowed to make out in this? And not only were they not allowed, they were PUNISHED too. Automatically. Seriously, what was this boat thing FOR? "What are we doing here then?" She narrowed her eyes slightly and pretended to get out of the gondola again.

This truly was ridiculous. What did they think would happen?

Okaaay, this was awkward.

Turning slightly red, Lux looked anywhere but at Bay now. Why had she kissed him? It was breaking her promise, even though it was not to kiss other boys. Maybe it was okay because she had kissed him Whatever she knew, it was that she did not enjoy the kiss one bit. Nope.

"So umm...you're welcome?" Could she just crawl into a corner and hide?

This moment couldn't be more awkward… errrrrrr……whats….. Bay couldn't even believe what he said "thanks" he just thanked a girl who kissed him… wow.. real smooth Bay.. he just shook his head at himself.. and oh great she said "your welcome" this night couldn't get any better… right…

Bay was still in shock… but he had to ask "errr what was that for??" he had the right to know right….

Oh, why was he asking her that? Lux was still feeing so awkward, and she figured that he had not liked it at all. Could the line move already so they could get this over with???

Looking at her feet, she bit her lip. "I don't know... I just really like you and you are taking me even if you are claustrophobic." And he was special somehow. This was soo very very awkward.

Schuyler was seated, waiting for her girlfriend to join her. Really, she couldn't say that she was surprised that this non-snogging business was deterring the Hufflepuff from getting into the gondola. Perhaps she should have mentioned that part after they were both seated. "Olly," she said, dragging out that last syllable with a smile. "Think back to pre-Halloween last year. We survived without make out sessions all the time then, right?" Schuyler neglected to mention that it seemed nearly impossible to survive longer than a day without Olly snogs now. But that wouldn't help her argument much, so.

"Anyway," she said, smoothing out the part of her dress that covered her legs. "I don't mind getting a bit wet just for you." If one little kiss or two equaled one spritz of water, they could tough it out.

She patted the place beside her. The tunnel of love was waaaaaiting. And these pink flowers looked much too pretty to pass up now.
