Goose.

There was a goose staring her in the face. Welp. Ella stood up a little unsure and smiled at the creature before she looked up at the extremely handsome Creatures professor. "Wasn't waiting long at all, Sir. It's not a problem." And she nodded at his instructions to go into the office, wiping her feet before she did.

The office was brilliant, by the way. The blonde badger did a slow circle and took in the space, a curious smile playing on her lips. "Nice place, Professor." Really.

"Oh um, I'm Ella Bishop, by the way."

Y'know, in case he was wondering.

Lala could only let out a soft honk, in approval before following the new girl inside the office with Javy. She liked her, yes she did as of now.

Shutting the door behind him, Javy deposited his carrying belongings before sinking into his arm chair, as the head girl seemed to be taking in everything. "Why, thank you." Smiling back, appreciating the compliment on his quarters. Then gesturing towards one of the seats in front of his desk. "Go on and have a seat then." Her name did escape him as he had only looked through the student roster sheet once. That would change, of course as he would know everyone's names before the first class began.

Waiting for her to sit, he went on ahead to pour some tea from the kettle into the cups. Leaving one out for her to drink, as Lala decided to take a little nap in her little pen. "So what I can do for you, Miss Bishop?" He was all ears now.

"You're welcome!"

And then was being asked to sit and the blonde obeyed, heading over towards the chair and flopping down gently. She then sat up a bit straighter and smiled nervously at the man in front of her, relaxing a little when she saw there would be tea. She didn't know why but she felt pressure to impress this particular professor given why she was here. It was important to her that he liked her.

The blonde reached for the cup and wrapped her hands around it so no nervous fiddling took place. "Thank you." For the tea, that is. "Actually, I came by because I'm thinking about continuing my care of magical creatures research after Hogwarts." Nodnod. "We haven't really had a consistent professor in this area and I just wanted to meet with you to, I guess, get some advice?" And reassurance too that they'd be learning lots this term...and that he wasn't going to leave.

"I hope it isn't an imposition."

"You're quite welcome." Tea had its benefits whether enjoyed or not. There was no dilly dallying with this one, Javy noted. He could certainly see some of her qualities that helped earn her student leadership. The drive for academic and career success that clearly motivated her to plan on ahead. Oh, and her vocabulary was a nice touch to that.

The corners of Javy's lips curved upward at her politeness, "It's never imposing to ask for advice." Just so she knew, he was quite alright with helping out. Carefully sipping his tea, he listened to her mentions on the previous professors short stay. Was she secretly worried that he would follow the same path? "Devoting to working with creatures is a serious commitment, for one. Depending on the work, you'll find that you will be using more than just what the textbooks provide. Skills that you may be surprised to know that will be useful, which you'll uncover before long in my class." Just a little hint, in case she had any doubts. He then set his cup down.

"I trust that you have spoken with your head of house, Professor Hadley, already on your desires?" That was optional of her to answer, since it was the beginning step anyway. "Often the next step for delving more into the subject after graduating is Wizarding University, for Cryptozoology or Magizoology." Now this one had to be answered, as Javy's fingers interlocked together around the cup while resting on the desk. "Now Miss Bishop, is there a certain creature.. or two that you particularly favour more out of than any other in the world?"

That was good to know. Ella smiled a little wider now, feeling a bit more at ease. She didn't feel bad for seeking advice this early on anymore. As for the hint about what his classes would be like, the blonde's interest was definitely peaked. "I'm looking forward to it, Professor." Care of Magical Creatures was her favorite subject so she was excited to see what was in store for them this term.

Hadley? Ella nodded her head and sat up a little straighter after setting her cup down on the desk. "We've talked, yeah. I just thought...well, that you would also be a good resource given you're the creatures professor." And it couldn't hurt to have lots of advice going into what she knew was going to be a busy and important term. Speaking of, Ella listened intently as Thompson mentioned the areas of study she'd want to pursue, nodding along. She'd figured as much. And then the question she'd been expecting. Ella smiled a little and nodded her head. "I've always been fascinated by dragons, Sir. And I guess at first they were the only creature I could picture myself working with." Well, beside elephants which weren't magical at all except to Ella, of course. "But more recently I've been reading about unicorns. I think it'd be amazing to work with the foals and see them grow up." She knew from her research that there were reservations through Great Britain though she didn't know how far-fetched her wanting to work with them was.

When she had finished talking, the blonde reached for her cup again and took a sip, if only to give herself something to do.

"Glad to hear that," Taking another sip of his tea. He would have to send a few owls back to make sure everything would go according to plan in the upcoming lesson. Yep.

Javy nodded slowly, listening as she explained her desires. Dragons and Unicorns. "Interesting choices.. Choosing to work with dragons will offer a variety of job options all around. Depending on what your other strengths subject-wise are.. they could also open up from merely controlling and cross-breeding studying to healing, which the reservations are always open to accepting." Pausing merely to let it sink in, in case she also had anything to add to her interest. "With regards to Unicorns, they are perhaps one of more difficult jobs in the field to get into for anyone, as their own protection takes higher priority." Javy wasn't going to lie on this, given their importance it was all the more reason selection on those working with them was strict.

But Javy wasn't trying to discourage the Head Girl for following her desires. "However, as with any other, continually building a strong background on working with other magical creatures at places like shelters and magical zoos in addition to your grades following graduation will help increase your chances.." Taking another sip, "So Miss Bishop, have you had any other experience of working with creatures outside of Hogwarts?" It was good if she already did, but not too late if she hadn't already. There were always other options available.

Sander made sure he scrubbed his shoes against his pant legs to remove the dirt on them. He frowned when he discovered he had a tough time keeping his leg up. This should have been an easy task to do, but for some weird reason, he was already feeling winded just from that small effort alone.

...But wait now he had dirt on his pant legs so he brushed off the dirt from his pant legs with his hands and then brushed his hands against the outside wall of the Professor office before stepping in.

.....okay all clean now...Sander thought to himself as he took a quick glance in the mirror to make sure he didn't have any hay in his hair. Wait was that a grey hair?? Sander quickly leaned forward and stared at that errant piece of hair. No that couldn't be a grey hair. He was only 18 years old. Way too young to have grey hair.

Not wanting to be caught examining himself in the mirror and be considered vain, Sander quickly turned around and greeted the Professor. "Good morning Professor....um...Professor..." Sander knew the name. Yes he had been told the name. So why couldn't he remember it?

Sander quickly made up for his lack of memory and said, "Good morning Professor, thanks for agreeing to see me."....yes just leave the name out.

"I was wondering is it a requirement that staff who teach Care of Magical Creatures here in Hogwarts should be able to see the Thestrals? I mean we all know the only way that one can it is if they witnessed a death."

"So what happens if you don't and you can't see them? How does one take care of something they can't see?" Sander asked. He knew he had other questions he had wanted to ask but for some weird reason he couldn't seem to remember what they were.

Gwen followed the older boy into the office. He was the one who had been in the stables earlier and had caused most of Gwen's questions. She eyed him nervously, not sure she wanted to ask all of her questions while he was here. Oh well. She stepped in, wiping her feet before she did.

"Thanks for seeing me, Professor Thompson. I'm Gwen, first year Ravenclaw." Because it seemed that all of the teachers wanted to know that about their students before each class, so it made sense to introduce herself that way, right?

Her questions. "I...um...I'm muggleborn, sir," the American girl began. "So I don't really have any experience with most of these animals, and I had a few questions if that's okay? It's just, you seemed like the best person to ask."

She wanted to smack her forehead. What a first impression to make. She wasn't always this awkward! Was that a goose? A regular goose, or did it do something magical too? Gwen mentally tucked that in the last position of all of the questions she had to ask.

Now was the time to listen and take in everything Professor Thompson was saying and Ella did just that. She occasionally sipped her tea as she did, never taking her eyes off the man as he spoke first about dragons. Her face lit up a bit, nodding along to what he'd said. She'd taken special note of the numerous job opportunities he'd implied there were in this field. That was something important to consider. "Cross-breeding sounds interesting. The hybrids have always fascinated me." As for the unicorn stuff, the eighteen year old had suspected as much though her face did fall a little when he fears were confirmed.

But there seemed to be a bright side to that little hiccup, apparently. Ella set her tea cup down once again and nodded, digesting all of the information. A strong background with animals, she could handle that. "I actually have had some experience with creatures, Sir, though not the magical kind. I've been able to volunteer under Mr. Silvia at the London Zoo. He's in charge of the elephants." Which were her favorite. If Thompson stuck around, he'd probably learn that much soon enough. "I've been working with him for the past two summers but again, I'm not sure how this would help on a magical creatures application, though I think many of the skills needed for magical and non-magical creatures are the same."

So the Head girl did have an interest in cross-breeding, "For hybrids, in addition to maintaining at least an "E" in this class, and Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms, I recommend also focusing on Transfiguration regarding theories as there would be a lot of experimentation." There was definitely a reason why they were the basic core classes.

After listening to her experience, Javy could merely comment. "I can see you're very passionate on the subject Miss Bishop.. While Elephants aren't entirely magical, they exhibit traits that make them require careful handling and respect as you said. Very impressive." For recruiters sake, at least. Speaking of muggle animals, he couldn't help glancing at Lala who was no longer snoozing but cleaning off her own feathers. "So you worked for two summers with them.. Was there something about them that attracted you?" Javy was curious at times, so it was only natural. "What I can also suggest for you as of now, is to start documenting on all of your experience. Finding a way to connect them will open doors for you."


After making sure the two were inside, did Javy close the door after himself. He merely glanced as the older student was checking on his own appearance in the mirror. Javy didn't think much on it as he finally turned around and did not seem to know his own name. Perhaps he wasn't only new arrival at the school. "Thompson.. and what is your name?" Right now, he only had the names but the lack of appearance to match up at the moment until the first class began.

He then said softly, "Go on and have a seat then." Gesturing to one of the stools by his desk. He could definitely use some tea by the looks on things, making Javy summon the kettle and two clean cups for the tea to pour in. They were free to take it now.

To Javy it seemed like this was a question the older student had been holding onto for a while, despite it's dark tone. "Hmm.. I believe only Headmistress Truebridge would have the answer on the school's hiring process." For one, he couldn't answer on how the previous staff's experiences were like.“However, you'll find that any individual who pursues studying and possibly teaching the subject of magical creatures would have some experience with as many magical creatures as possible.” To put it simply. As for how to take of something not visible. “It's not very common to express concern and care for something one can not see." Javy could get even deeper into this, but he knew students preferred a condensed version. "When you have anyone who can't see Threstals, their knowledge on them can only go as far as what they are instructed and taught. Some are tamed, like the ones here at Hogwarts while the ones that aren't, have their own set of behavior and personality that is unlike any other.." Pausing mainly to see if he was still with him on this. "If I wasn't able to actually see them, the most I could do with the best of my knowledge is to simply give them their space and respect for what they have done and are capable of." Hopefully that cleared things. Javy waited though, in case he had other pressing concerns.


Ah, now this young one knew his name. "It's no trouble, Miss Jensen, go on and have a seat.” There weren't many first year Ravenclaws named Gwen, so he recognised her name off the roster, easily. Waiting until they were situated did Javy enclose his fingers while resting his elbows on the desk. He listened as she seemed to have concerns. Nodding as she mentioned them. “It's refreshing to have a young mind eager to expand their knowledge.” In case she had any hesitation, she had picked the right time to get started. “So what would you like to know?”

He knew her last name. She hadn't told it to him, how did he know? Maybe he already knew the names of every student, and Gwen had just looked silly introducing herself. She brushed it off. Some things were more important.

"I went to go see the horses the other day, sir, and," oh where to begin with all of the questions! "Well, they all have wings, but that boy," she gestured to Sander. "He was brushing the scary ones, you know the ones that are black and bony and a little scary-looking?" Now might be a good time to mention that he might want to feed those horses. Or maybe she ought to keep that to herself. "Anyway, he said that some people can't see them. How come?"

"Also, I wanted to know about the grey horse in there. What's his name? He's really pretty, and super-nice." At least, he'd been nice to Gwen. "Are students allowed to ride the horses, sir?" Whoa, too many questions all in a row. There were more that she wanted to ask, but she took a breath for now, giving him time to answer. "Sorry. I talk fast when I'm nervous, or excited. Annora says she can't understand me when I talk like this. She thinks it's a nervous habit." There she went again, babbling about nothing. Of course Annora couldn't read her lips when she talked this fast. Gwen took another breath and sat straight at the edge of her chair, waiting anxiously for some answers.

Ella nodded slowly, mentally storing this information for later. Care of Magical Creatures and Defense Against the Dark Arts had always been the subjects she'd excelled in so it was reassuring to hear that they were important to this particular subject. As for Transfiguration and Charms, she'd managed to do well on her OWLs in both of these subjects so hopefully she could manage that again on her NEWTs. Fingers were crossed, that was for sure. "I'll definitely keep that in mind, Professor."

Passionate was probably an understatement but Ella merely smiled and nodded again. The badger blushed slightly at the 'impressive' bit, not knowing how to react to it. She wasn't good with compliments, never had been, but knowing Professor Thompson thought her work was impressive made her feel...just...really, really proud. "Thanks, Sir." Really.

And then Thompson made the mistake of asking Ella what attracted her to elephants and she just couldn't help but bounce a little. "They're just... completely brilliant, Professor! They're extremely intelligent and their social structures are fascinating. Like how the female elephants care for the young and how they've been known to grieve the loss of a fellow elephant." Her face lit up as she talked about them, clearly in love with the topic. "They're... my favorite animal. Always have been." And gosh, he probably thought she was an elephant-crazed lunatic or something. Not the best way to leave an impression.

Documenting her work? "I'll definitely do that, Professor. Do you think it'd count to add my time working with the creatures here at Hogwarts? I've signed up to help with them each term, really."

Sander immediately felt like a fool for not introducing himself,"Hello Professor Thompson, my name is Aleksander but most people call me Sander." quickly correcting his earlier mistake. Then he quickly took the seat that the Professor had offered him, making himself comfortable but sitting upright and straight nonetheless.

"Thank you for the tea, Professor Thompson," Sander thanked the professor as he picked up the cup with both his hands. He immediately felt its contents warming his cold hands. Then he listened carefully as Professor Thompson explained the complexities of taking care of the magical creatures even those one couldn't see like the Thestral.

Sander nodded in understanding. "So basically the best way to take care of these creatures is to truly understand and know each of them intimately. Just being able to see the Thestrals doesn't ensure that you will be able to take care of them the way they should be. Am I right, Professor." Sander asked Professor Thompson.

"I guess I'm only thinking of their welfare now, is because I can see them now. Before I did, I just took them for granted. Invisible beings that pulled our carriages back home. Never fully recognizing their true potential and what they did for the community." Sander explained the reason for his question.

"I guess I want to better learn how to take care of all magical creatures. Not just the ones that we can see or think are more significant. Not just the ones we think are more important and useful to us." Sander hoped that he was making sense.

"My father wants me to take over the family shipping business. After I graduate I want to be a Professional Ice Hockey Player, but even then I know my days are numbered. I can't play the sport forever. I want to learn something else that I can enjoy doing when that time comes and I believe that is the study of magical creatures. Professor, I was wondering whether you can advice me how I can best achieve that." Sander humbly asked him.

Leo stood up with relief when finally Javy opened the door followed by a goose. The goose got a long stare before he snapped back to attention. "Hello, Javy! I need your help." Leo greeted as he his made over the threshold and into the other man's office still cradling his little companion he glanced around fleetingly. The office looked inviting and a sense of home came towards him.

Holding up his puffskein which Javy probably had already noted the state of already Leo said worriedly. "Can you please take a look at Wilhelmina? She had a bad altercation with Madonna. I fear she might have broken something aside from the bleeding scratches."

At long last Professor came out of his office and recognized Tag. You know, he wasn't tiny anymore. Not so tiny, ok. It shouldn't be that difficult to spot him anymore. He probably just blended in too well with the surrounding or something.

Anyway, Tag got up and followed Thompson into his office and took a look around the second he sat down. Wow. It was kind of nice in here you know. Secluded and peaceful. And, ok. If Tag's eyes weren't deceiving him that was a goose standing nearby. He, Tag, even shook his head at the sight of it. Very very different.

"Hello Professor! I was wondering if you could help me with some things. For after Hogwarts. An, I figured, and Bentley suggested you to me, that you're the most resourceful Professor I can go to for this." The blonde started off.

So this what she's been holding. Javy knew all too well on that excited look. Smiling back at her enthusiasm.“It's not often a witch can admit to loving an animal more associated with muggles.” Merely an observation, it was still impressive either way. "If I were to compare, your enthusiasm is like mine with birds. I used my previous experience with them to tie in with winged creatures, before tackling on the others." Examples were lovely.

Then it was now onto her portfolio, “Detailing the elephant's size and empathsising on their strength will definitely gain you trust with large creatures." As for adding her time at Hogwarts, "Oh yes, be sure to include every minor detail of interaction, even if you feel its unnecessary to add." It was always better to have more. "Now Miss Bishop, did you have any other concerns?"


"You were able to see them too then?" Purely optional to answer, since she described them enough to prove true. "Those "scary-looking horses" that you're describing are quite gentle Thestrals." Javy answered calmly, "The only ones who can see their appearance are those who had witnessed a death and had later on accepted the circumstance." Given her age, it was quite tragic for a young girl to be able to see them already.

Javy looked for a moment at the questions, before chuckling. “It's quite alright, Miss Jensen.” Now for her questions. “Majority of the horses there don't have a name just yet, did you happen to have one in particular you wished to call him?” As for riding the horses. Hmm.. He then took the time to conjure out of his drawer with the flick of his wand the current sign-up list. It only took a few seconds before he found the matching name and house, “Yes, you're clear for riding one..” Javy said after finding her name on the sign up list, before looking at the both of them. “Not that I don't trust you have the capability, but given your size I would suggest you have another one present to assist you onto him.” A taller student, perhaps.

Polite and humble.. Javy at least knew some of the better attributes commonly found from Hufflepuffs. Nodding curtly at his thanks, the young man really needed it from his current body language.

"Quite right, Mr. Strand." Another curtly nod to him. In amidst of his talking, Javy was anticipating where he was going with this. It didn't take long before it came finally. It was on the whole sports versus studying, but first things first. "Are you asking for advice on how to handle both or whether you want my opinion on which of the two you should pursue first?" He asked calmly. It was important to get everything straightened out before tackling head on. "Now did you have a particular creature in mind or two that you find most fascinating and wish to pursue more into studying?"


The sight of the injured creature, had Lala honking. "Lala, shh." Who merely flapped her wings at them before hopping onto the couch to watch again. He'd have to play her song again later on, but first things first.

One of Javy's brows rose a little at the mention of Madonna, the scratches he noticed definitely matched that of a Kneazle. Hmm.. he could only imagine what could've caused her to react that way at a Puffskein. "Sure, set her down here." After clearing the nearest table, he laid down some of the older Daily Prophet articles for padding. Taking his wand out after Leo did so, before running it over. "There's a bottle of dittany in one of my desk drawers, mind getting it?" Sure, he could summon it over, but the last thing any pet needed was to see its master at high stress, so he could at least feel included on the helping.


Ah, that settled it. "Of course, have a seat then." Gesturing towards one of the chairs by his desk before going to get some appropriate drinks. "Do you care much for chocolate?" Pouring himself some hot chocolate from the kettle since he was out of tea at the moment, he waited for his response before bringing the cup(s) over.

Sitting himself down afterward, he looked through his files in the drawer before finding Tag's records. "I'm going to assume you're interested in a career with Magical creatures." Since he was recommended to come here after Seren's recommendation. "Your previous grades left from this class shown are satisfactory, so you're on track at the moment." Glancing over the grades before setting it back down. Now came the one question always asked to the students. "So Mr. Kildare, did you have a particular creature or two in mind that you fancied researching more into?"

Thestrals. That was an interesting name for a horse. She gasped. People could only see them if they'd witnessed a death? "I've never seen anyone die," she said slowly, wracking her memories for something like that. Nope. She'd been to viewings for funerals and stuff, but she'd not watched those people pass away.

A brief memory flashed across her mind, driving past that accident on Fifth Avenue, where the cab had hit a pedestrian. That had to be it. Though it hadn't really been that traumatic. She was only seven when it had happened. "Never mind. I guess I did see a guy get hit by a car." He had most likely died.

She grinned, the horse didn't have a name, and he was allowing her to name it. "Um," she thought for a moment. "Can I think about it for a few days and let you know what I decide?" Names were important and she didn't want to mess that up. Names meant things. She couldn't give him a name like Finn, meaning fair when he was a pretty grey color.

Also, who was she supposed to convince to help her up onto the horse? She nodded excitedly. "Thank you so much! I'll let you know about the name as soon as I think of one." She had so many more questions, but it was looking like a lot of people needed his attention, so she would ask a different person, or wait for a few days before plaguing him with her insatiable curiosity. She stood up and held out her hand to shake his. "Thank you so much for answering my questions Professor Thompson."

Upon Professor addressing Tag to sit down he did so. Of course. He wasn't going to stand up during the entire talk. "I'm a Gryffindor Professor, I enjoy most foods. Chocolate is pretty high up on the list. Yes, please Professor I'd like some chocolate." Tag answered kindly to his Professors question.

"Yes, magical, or even muggle. But seeing as you're the "magical creatures" Professor I suppose as of right now you'd be able to assist me with that some more." He was talking a lot. Not so quickly though, he'd been more nervous to talk to Bentley cause he had no idea what to talk about. An so the boy sat silently while the man in front of him riffled through and examined Tag's records. " Satisfactory. That's good." Obvious Tag speaking the obvious.

And the minute he asked Professor might have regretted it, because Tag started now. "Unicorns have interested me since forever. One of my nicknames is even based off that. Mr. Unicorn." That... Wasn't important to the answer it just sort of came out of Tag. " Crups as well. Kneazles. I've got a kneazle too! There's also Griffins that interest me. Can you work with leprechauns too? Or is it a big more difficult with them cause they're tricky?" The boy stopped talking, mostly because those were the creatures that interested him, and took a long breath while smiling at Professor Thompson.

How funny would it be? A leprechaun working on leprechauns- if that were possible.

Leo was momentarily distracted from Wilhelmina by the honking goose. Why did Javy have a goose for a pet? There was no time to dwell on that as Wilhelmina made a hurt noise again and Javy took charge of the situation giving him instructions.

Carefully and with big caution as to not give Wilhelmina more pain Leo strode over and laid her down on the table on top of the newspapers. Trying to keep his calm, he headed over to Javy’s desk to retrieve the bottle of dittany as instructed. He rummaged around a little in the drawers until he found the bottle.

Fetching it Leo walked around the desk and held the dittany bottle out to Javy. "Here you are. What do you need the dittany for?! Eyeing his distressed pet as she kept making sounds he murmured. "I hope you can cure her. I got her at the adoption fair in Diagon Alley over the summer. I'm really fond of her."

He was smiling which meant he knew the feeling, yeah? That was good to know. Reassured Ella that he didn't think she was a nutter or anything. She wore a sheepish expression as she listened to his reply, "My family are muggles, Professor. So...I guess that's my excuse?" Though she couldn't see why anyone would discriminate. All creatures were fascinating, magical or not. And Thompson was a bird lover, then? Ella smiled at this and nodded her head. "That's a good way to think about things, Professor. I hadn't considered narrowing down my options like that before." Helpful guy, Professor Thompson was.

Size and strength. Ella nodded seriously, locking away that bit of information. She was keeping in mind all of the minor details too. She actually couldn't wait to go back to her dorm and start organizing her previous experience. Couldn't hurt to get a jump start now.

Any other concerns. "Not at the moment, Professor. I actually feel really excited about things now. Like, I have a better idea of what I need to do to prepare for after Hogwarts." And a lot of that was due to him and all the information he'd shared. "Thanks for talking with me. I really appreciate you taking the time. Would it be okay if I checked in again sometime? Just, if I have questions or anything." Hopeful looks for you, Professor.

"As are mine, Miss Bishop." Not that only muggle-borns felt that way. It was just more common compared to other creature enthusiasts. "From what I've heard and seeing as of now, I'd say you have a good head on your shoulders." Opening one of the drawers Javy took out a slip of parchment to write out. "Before your work gets heavier Miss Bishop, I recommend you see Le- Mr. Kitridge the librarian and see if he has this book in stock." Passing it to her, the slip read 'Monsters: The bridge between all Magical and Unmagical Creatures by Rona Spellfield'. You could see why he declined to just say it. "In case you need any more help tying your favorites in."

So how did she feel now? "Excellent." Nodding at her appreciation, "Of course Miss Bishop, you're welcome again anytime." It was nice for Javy to see his students get something out of what they asked for.


Unfortunate.. Javy didn't need to press on with that. As for naming the one of the winged horses. “Sure thing, just be sure to get his approval first.” Smiling a little, Gwen was a bright enough student to figure out what he meant by that. Hm? Did she have any more questions?

Some hot chocolate for the Gryffindor and little less for himself. Javy didn't need much of the stuff to get him going again. Setting the two mugs down, so Tag could help himself to it. Javy had gotten comfortable while listening to.. all of what he was saying.

Unicorns, Crups, Kneazles, Griffins, and Leprechauns..Javy nodded a little, as the left corner of his mouth curved upward into a small smirk. “Planning for a busy and exciting career, aren't you, Mr. Kildare?” That was optional to answer, but he figured a little sign of amusement would loosen the boy. “Seeing as you're open to vast amount of creatures is a good starting point. After Hogwarts, what usually follows is working at an entry-level for the Ministry or studying further at the Wizarding University for a wider variety of job options afterward.” Hopefully he was taking this all in.

"Before I tell you on how each creature will fair, share with me the rest of the classes you're pursuing NEWTs-level with." It was easier to tie favorite classes with the choice.

“Thank you,” Uncorking the top, Javy replied before tipping it to allow a few drops over it, "Not to worry, I'm just sealing the wounds from the scratches and then she'll be as good as new.” Whilst dressing the wounds with his wand, Javy heard about where Leo got her. "Shame we missed it-" As in him and Lala, of course. "So what's her name?"

Ella smiled wider at this news. It was always comforting to find someone with which you shared this particular trait. Mostly because Ella's experience here had been quite different than those who had always known about magic and it was nice to find someone else who understood this and could identify with her interest in things non-magical. As for her having a good head on her shoulders, the blonde's expression turned sheepish and she nodded. "I like to think so, Sir." It was nice that he agreed. The eighteen year old watched curiously as he then instructed her to go to the library. She reached out and took the slip gently, glancing down to read the title. Hm, that sounded quite interesting. "Thank you for the suggestion," She said and she looked back up. "I'll be sure to go as soon as I can."

Open invitation to visit? Careful what you wish for, Professor Thompson. Ella liked to make visits. Perhaps she'd bring him some cookies for his help? Yeah, that seemed like a nice idea. Standing, the blonde smoothed her clothes and smiled. "Well, I'd better be going. Studying isn't going to do itself. Thanks again and for the tea!" And with a salute, the Head Girl headed out of the office, slip in hand.

There came more smiles for the Professor when he handed Tag's mug, which he took and slowly, and very carefully started to drink the hot chocolate. "Thanks, Professor."

Tag hoped he hadn't lost his Professor, or bored him with the listing of magical creatures. That was all Tag could think up of, right now, that would interest him. Maybe he'd find some more later if he were willing enough to open his textbook. "I.. oh yeah. I suppose. I'm just really into animals."He answered sheepishly, giving a very small, embarrassed smile. Upon hearing the Ministry being mentioned Tag did have a small thing to bring up. It could get in his way, but he hoped there were other options besides the Ministry. "I don't think I'm fit for the Ministry, Sir. That or I might get bored of being stuck in an office all the time. I need to be up and around and doing things you know?" So, there was his thoughts on that. "Where's the Wizarding university at? And are there more than just one? Is there any particular universities that just specialize in creatures?" All the questions.

Oh. Tag was somewhat confused as to why NEWTS mattered. But he supposed if he was going into university it did matter. But, wouldn't CoMC only matter? Anyway he wasn't going to disobey the Professor. The boy started drifting off and looked out the office, from his seat as he started to think. "Care of Magical Creatures. Charms. Ancient Runes..." Hopefully he'd actually do good on that. "Muggle Studies. History of Magic and Divination, I think." He was still attending all of those classes, but he wasn't 100% sure if he'd be taking their Newts.

Bart just looked at Professor Lameo as he called him Mr. Maroon. They were still on that now were they. He stood listening and waiting until the professor asked them in. He gave a small smile, look with girlish eye, right. Not sure how to do that he just stared awkwardly at the professor and walked into the office.

Could he sit somewhere or would he just get yelled at for sitting in the wrong place with this man it seemed like it could happen. He just focused on Professor Culloden. He said not to say anything let him do the talking and that was exactly what Bart was going to do. He could put money down that Professor Lameo was not going to let him near the squid either. Which in that case Bart would just do it on his own some how.
