Buzzzzzz.

She'd heard it loud and clear, the buzzing as she walked towards the Groundkeeper's hut. Curiosity had gotten the better of her too and she walked directly towards the sound, wondering what it was.

Bees. Lots of them, from the sound of it. Interesting.

The blonde inched closer to the fence, observing the bee keeping equipment with a small smile. She didn't know much about bees other than they could cause a lot of damage to those who were allergic to them. She'd seen her Granddad blow up a time or two because of it. She wanted to know more though, of course. And wasn't it going to get quite cold soon? What happened to the bees then? Questions, Ella had lots of them. For now, though, she stood with her body pressed against the fence and continued watching.

Hm.

Loud buzzing noises had drawn his curious attention towards this place. Whatever it was. He knew it was close the the Groundkeepers hut but that didn't mean he knew what was making those buzzing sounds.

It didn't take long for him to find out though, bees. Not being scared or nervous at all, the Gryffindor walked along the fence until he stood next to an older student who seemed to be observing the bees as well. "My parents never told me there were bees here" he said, more to himself than her as he watched the flying creatures.

She didn't even flinch when she heard a voice next to her, that's how fascinated she was by the bees. Was it true that honey bees died when they stung humans but not when they stung other things? How did the bees elect a queen and what happened when said queen died? Could she have some honey?

...See? Distracted Ella was distracted.

She did take the time to glance down at the younger boy and say, "This is new. The groundskeeper must have set it up when he arrived." Cool, wasn't it?

It was about that time again, for Orsino to collect some of the last remaining stores of Summer Honey. He bounded over to his fence and spotted two students already observing the Bees. "EXCELLENT!" the Groundskeeper exclaimed in a booming tone. "I could use some spare hands, if the two of you would like to help collect some Honey with me!?" He didn't give them much option to say no, not yet anyways as he picked up two full white Beekeeping suits for the two of them. Both of which were clearly to large for them. "Shrink those if they don't fit." He said while slipping over his Protective Mask, and Gloves on his hands. He removed his wand and grabbed some tongs from the fence. "Come in, Come in." He ushered them to follow him in by waving his large arm in towards the Hives.

Ah! The bees were new so that was why his parents hadn't told him about it! That explained a lot but he still wished he knew about it though. He hated going to this school, thinking he knew things but in reality he didn't. This was not how he had prepared himself.

"Yeah, pretty cool" he answered back as he looked at the bees buzzing behind the fence "I like snails better, i used to paint their shells in different colors and why am i even telling you this?!"


The booming voice of the groundskeeper made Kevin turn his gaze away from the bees. Wait....help? what? He actually wanted HIM as a help?! OH THIS GONNA BE GOOOOD! He grinned from ear to ear as the man picked up two beekeeping suits and he put one of them on without hesitation.

He looked ridiculous though because the suit was way to big for him. He tried rolling up his sleeves and pants but it slided down each time he had finally secured it. Oh right! Shrinking spell of course! Grabbing his wand from his wrist holster, the boy pointed it at his clothes and didn't do anything. "Ehm....how do i use the shrinking spell anyway?" He hated knowing what the spell was and what it did but not knowing HOW to use the spell.

Snails, huh? Ella raised her eyebrows and glanced down at the younger boy, curious. She didn't find anything particularly interesting about snails but to each his/her own. "So you're a painter, then?" And she smiled a little at him to let him know it was fine that he was sharing stuff with her. She wasn't bothered.

And then a VERY large man was approaching them and before she could even ask questions, Ella had a beekeeping suit in her hands. "I...really?!" She was going to get to help?! ...But yeah, really, since she already had the suit. How awesome was this? She couldn't wait to tell Alec!

After tugging on the giant thing, Ella noted how large it was and smiled a little to herself. She definitely looked like a little kid trying on a parent's clothing. She quickly got out her wand and shrunk it down to size before looking over at the snail kiddo. "I can help." And she did, NONVERBALLY too cause she had been practicing and Sophie was going to be SO proud. BEAM! "All set." And now neither of them would trip and fall into a bee hive and be stung to death by crazy honey bees. Mhm.

Ella wasted no time pulling on the gloves and then the mask and following the groundskeeper dude inside.

Best. Day. Ever.

No. No he was not a painter. He frowned at her as she said that and as she helped him with his bee keeping outfit he noticed that she wore the Head Girl badge. So this was the Head Girl eh? He looked her up and down once with a judging look before shaking his head. "No, i just get bored really fast" he said "Thanks by the way" WHY was he being nice? He'd already gotten in to trouble with 2 Professors and the first week had only started! Maybe he was just tired and didnt want to get in to trouble today.

Or he was smart because he didn't wanted to get stung by the bees out there. Yeah..better stay close to those two and get cover behind them when the bees attacked. "How does this suit protect us?" he asked to the Groundskeeper as he too stepped through the fence. "I mean, don't the needles just go through the suit?"

Excellent!! The older Head Girl girl was very good with her spells. "Now that you're both properly suited..." He stopped briefly as the small kid asked about the suit. "They have protective layer thick enough to stop a bee's stinger from getting through, but light enough for maneuverability. I normally wear one, but I wasn't going to be too long." He handed the young Gryffindor a small spray canister. "Right so what I'm going to need from the two of you is to produce a smokescreen that'll calm the bee's. Head Girl," he stopped because he never caught her name "...you're excellent with your spell work, so you can produce one with your wand, can't you. To do so with the canister you just need to pull on the small finger trigger." He inched closer to the first beehive "When I take the 1st one out you'll smoke at the hive...away from me." With his tongs he slowly pulled the first hive out and away. The bees began to swarm around the boxed hive as he did so.

He knew he had asked the question himself but his attention was slowly turning away from the Groundskeeper as he spoke to him and towards the beehives. His words went one ear in and the other ear out although a few of them hung around in his mind like that the suit was light enough to move fast in it. Good, he was a Gryffindor but even a brave Gryffindor needed to be a fast runner when bees attacked.

"Ah...okay" he said and took the small spray canister from the older man and looked at it. He then looked back up, his left hazel and right dark brown eyes rolling at the next thing. "I know how to spray a can you know" duh, he wasn't stupid!

The praises to the hufflepuf head girl made him jealous though. Just a bit. And he looked at her, wondering if she could REALLY perform a spell like that. He was going to laugh so hard if she cou----

The beehive opened and Kevin quickly fumbled with the can before spraying it towards the bees......accidently or on purpose they will never know muwaha sprayed a bit in the direction of the Groundskeeper because he had been too fast.

"Oops! sorry!" his voice sounded like he was in panic but he had to hide a grin.

Head Girl?

"Ella Bishop, Sir." Just so he knew for future reference. Y'know, if he let her hang around the bees and such which she was quite interested in doing. Huh? That...was presumptuous. The man was going to release bees in their direction and assume she could do the Smokescreen Spell? ...Cool.

The blonde's eyes widened a little but she tried not to panic. She'd read about the spell before. It was defensive, used in dueling though she'd never gotten the chance to give it a go. She'd always been pretty good at that so she could do this. ...Totally.

Bees! What...was the incantation? Fumos? ...Yeah.

"Fumos!"

A cloud! A cloud of smoke had emerged from the tip of her wand and in the bees general direction. She was too focused on that to see what the little guy had done to the groundskeeper but if she had, she totally would have laughed.

Ehehehe.

Not even a split second had occured when his face was being hit with the smoke that The Little Gryffindor decided to shoot it all at him. Not even a chance to ackowledge the Head Girl by name, or ask the Little Lion his.
He stumbled backwards and flung the hive forward at the two students as he tried to clear the smoke from his face. "In..."-he loud cough interupted his warning-"...coming!" He continued to cough as he rushed forward toward the Gryffindor still spraying the smoke in his face.

A grin of pure evil of amusement was visible on the Gryffindor's face as he was still 'accidentally' shooting the spray in the direction of the Groundskeeper. He looked at the Head Girl and noticed that she wasn't aware of what he was doing and in those few seconds he too wasn't aware of what the Groundskeeper was doing. He only heard the words 'in coming' and when he looked back his heterochromia hazel and dark brown eyes widened at the sight of a BEEHIVE coming his and the Head Girl's way.

He flicked his wrist and his Phoenix Feather wand flew out of its holster and in to his hand. But even with the wand he didn't know what to do so instead of using a spell, he covered his arms over his head as protection despite wearing the protective suit and ran behind the Head Girl for cover. "ARE YOU CRAZY MAN!?" He shouted , trying to keep his voice controlled. He was a RAWRING Lion after all!

...........Uhm...was it just him or did the buzzing sounds became LOUDER?!

WHATINTHENAMEOFMERLIN?!

One minute Ella was carefully warding off bees with smoke and the next, a GIANT BEEHIVE OF DOOM was being FLUNG at HER by the GROUNDSKEEPER of all people! The blonde's green eyes widened considerably and she didn't really have any time to react properly, or to scold the younger boy who was currently using her as a HUMAN SHIELD. Merlin, Child! Wasn't he supposed to be a Gryffindor?!

And maybe it was Quidditch reflexes or the fact that Ella was afraid the bees would be hurt but she caught the thing. Caught the beehive and then clearly looked scared because CRADLING BEEHIVE, WHUT?

'WhatdoIdonow?!"

...Help?

Orsino wasted no time in snatching the cannister from the Little Lion Man's hands. "Watch what you say, Kid." He moved one large index finger directly over the boys chest. "Not only did you spray the smoke in my face, AFTER I specifically said not to. You call me Crazy. Not wise Little Lion Man, not wise. 5 points from Gryffindor. You show respect to your Professors, and Staff." He jabbed his index finger lightly onto the boys chest...
Now was he forgetting something?

"ow"Orsino felt a small prick on his right arm and looked to see the bee's swarming about the 3 of them. "MY BEES! ELLA BISHOP, YOU SAVED MY BEES!" He grabbed the Hive and shoved it toward the Little Lion Man, So he could lift the Head Girl up and give her a Massive Bear Hug. He did remember to hold back a little this time too. Not crushing her like he did an Arrow Teammate. He set her down and scratched his head..."Oh...You're okay too I assume?" Right Student Safety first, he did make them wear full suits so any stings that his Bee Budies tried on the two Kids, were all for naught.

"It was an accident!" Kevin defended himself as the Groundskeeper snatched the can out of his hand. 5 points for an *accident*?! Kevin glared at the man and then had to take a step back to balance himself when he jabbed his finger against his chest. Not that it hurt he just wasn't very good on standing firmly on both feet. "And well, you kinda are crazy, i mean you just THREW a beehive at us!"

His glare changed in to a look of panic when the CRAZY man shoved the beehive in to his hands and out of instinct the boy held the hive in his hands as the man went in to give the Head Girl a hug. He looked at them, a feeling of hurt went through him because no one had ever hugged him....apart from his parents and people Always like another person instead of him when he was with others and ....SOFTY ALERT! The Gryffindor shook his head and the frown came back. Luckily he was wearing the suit. "And WHAT do i have to do with THIS?!" he called as he held the beehive up in to the air and SHOOK it.

WHATONEARTH?

First he'd thrown a beehive at them which sort of made him and Kevin even, mind you. -5 points was a little much and THEN he was waving the thing around again before lifting Ella up in the air. To say this was the weirdest experience she'd ever had with a member of the Hogwarts staff would be an understatement.

The Hufflepuff let out a little shriek when she was lifted and hugged. HUGGED. Never before had she ever felt muscles like that, MY GOSH. And she was actually surprised that it hadn't hurt considering the size difference but yes, she'd survived the bear hugging groundskeeper. Something to tell the kids about in the future, for sure.

...Were they okay?

"I...uh...here." Ella took the beehive gingerly from a panicked looking Gryffindor and held it out gingerly to Mr. K, green eyes wide.

"I thought beekeeping was a more relaxing practice, honestly."

GOODNESS.

"Accidents are all easily prevented with a little use of your ears and eyes. That Beehive would have stayed firmly in my grasp had you listened to where I asked you to spray." Orsino retorted to the Little Lion. "I ALSO asked you to watch your words. I will NOT warn you again. You really need to learn not to speak your mind, Kid. His whole face was going red with anger as the kid started to shake the hive around with no care for his Bees. He would have had an outburst had the Head Girl not saved his Bees from the Evil Grasp of that Kid.

"Apiculture is supposed to be very relaxing. It normally is for me at least." He was sure this was the most action-packed adventure he's ever had at collecting Honey. He was now considering an age limit to helping him Beekeep.
"The Next thing we need to do is..." He pointed to the boxed Beehive the Head Girl was holding. "...Scrape off the wax seal from the Honeycomb." He paused for a moment then pointed his wand to an open window from his Hut "Accio Bucket" A Large White Bucket flew from his Hut, and into his hands. "Little Lion Man. Can you Hold the Bucket, while Ella here scrapes the wax off? I'll need you to catch the Honey that spills from the Hive." He held th Bucket out for the Kid to take from him.

Learn to not speak his mind? Kevin laughed at those words. Not long, just a short laugh. "If for everytime someone said that to me i would get a galleon i'd be rich now" he said with a shrug of his shoulders and looked at Ella when she took the beehive away from him.

This whole bee thing was supposed to be relaxing? How BORING! He was pretty proud of himself then if he had turned a BORING activity in to something so exciting. Must be his Gryffindor side. He then looked at listened what the Groundskeeper was explaining to Ella and he stood there, waiting not so patiently for things to do himself. He could help out too!

And it seemed that the Groundskeeper thought the same thing 'cause a few moments later a large bucket flew out of the window of the Hut. "You can't do non-verbal spells? that's pretty lame" he said before he quickly added. "Oh right, not supposed to speak my mind" or whatever. He grabbed the bucket and held it in his hands. "I can do that! And my name is Kevin, not little lion man...although it does sound cool...."

Well then, was Head Girl ready as well?

Mr. K was kind of scary, did he know? It was probably the muscles. Ella gave Kevin a look warned that he should most definitely not anger this man further because he'd probably get Hulk Kirby smashed or something and then focused her attention on the instructions being given.

..And the Gryffindor was saying things he shouldn't again. "Don't be rude," She said quietly, hoping the groundskeeper had missed the boy's comment. She didn't want him to lose anymore points, even if they weren't in the same house.

Anyway, time to scrape off the wax? "Alright, so just like...?" And the eighteen year old slowly started to remove it, making sure the beehive was over the bucket so that no honey was being wasted.

Did this Kid have a peanut sized brain? Orsino was seconds away from tossing a silencing charm on the Gryffindor. "No more Comebacks from you. Listen to your Head Girl, or I'll have to take more points." You want to test him, go on Little Lion Man show us why Gryffindors are so brave.

Orsino watched as the Head Girl started to removed the wax off from the hive, and the honey started to pour down into the bucket. "Excellent! This is a good batch. How about a jar for each of you for your help?" He'd rather not reward the Boy, but well he came down at least curious about the Bees. Might as well reward THAT curiousity. "Just a bit more from this one, and you two can be off."

Research. That's what Josephina was out here for if anyone asked.

That and she hadn't seen big-man Orsino in a few months and she wanted to make sure he didn't eat any children or trip on one of the small ones or something.

Not wanting to disturb his hut though, the muggle studies professor slipped quietly to the back of the hut, thinking she would just get a quick peek inside the window. Make sure he was alright and all. Unlike Annie or Tiara when she saw them at the match - seriously? Wrinkles? Gray hair? She didn't think they were THAT much older than her.

But before she got to the window she heard something ...... buzzing? Turning in horror at what her ears were telling her was behind her she blinked in shock. Ycch !! Beekeeping?!? He was supposed to keep the GROUNDS, not BEES that could HURT people..........

Turning around all too quickly and backing up, she stumbled and backed right into the white fence. Hopefully her sudden movement against the fence wouldn't activate them .......or the beegroundskeeper was near?

Sitting, eating Honey, and doing the occasional Arm Curl with the nearest Weight by his foot. Kirby had grown a horrifying Gut in his lazy seclusion from the rest of the school.

The Honey he was eating stuck over onto his now grey beard.
He kept his Head Bald, but this did not hide the fact that where there was once hair had receded back. Dark brown spots also marked up the top of his forehead to the back of his head. Dark circles, and wrinkles found their way under his eyes, and wax not the bee kind and tiny hairs took over the insides of his ears.

He had been keeping a close eye on his bees from his spot on the couch, then stood suddenly when he saw someone enter padt his gate, without HIS PERMISSION . Nearing the window he pressed his face up close to it, and so someone leaning against his fence near his bees! HIS BEES! HIS BEES! Some crazy student must of tried to steal his honey! Well then Winnie the Pooh! Prepair yourself for a a much more terrifying Bear! Swinging his window open Orsino then grabbed his wand and pointed it at the intruder! "You've got 5 seconds to leave my Beehives. Or Else! GET OFF MY PROPERTY!" He waved his wand around threateningly!

Buzzing. No. It wasn't buzzing that she heard from behind her ..... it something WAY more terrifying. The thundering voice of the giant of a groundskeeper. Eyes bulging slightly, she stumbled upward using the fence behind her for support and squinted ahead toward the groundskeeper poking out of his window? Well then... someone was playing hide and go seek, we're they?

"GOSH! 'sino! Is that how you treat a fellow housemate? That's rude!" Hadley shouted back at him, wiggling her own wand back. "And you've got honey. Stuck up there. In your beard, Pooh bear." That was meant to be a helpful comment, of course, not insulting. And speaking of beard ... was it GRAY?!? Should she dye her locks gray, cause apparently that colour was in ...

He did not ask them to start a conversation with him. Kirby asked them to leave. He could barely make out what they were saying anyways. "Five!" He started his countdown. He ceased waving his wand around menacingly and kept it as steady as his old feeble hands could. "Four!" Less Talking to him, more getting out of his beehives. Were they even being safe? He squinted at them to see if they were at least wearing any of his protective ge...Oh oh! Oh whoops! The Grumpy Groundskeeper pocketed his wand. That was the Muggle Studies Professor! "Phina! PHINA! get yer butt over to my Window before you scare the bees any further!" Or at least put on some of the gear he provides. "What has you poking around my Bees?" Because still, she may be stealing his Honey.
