The Ravenclaw table was looking a little scarce at the moment, so Mo decided to just claim an entire bench for himself. He laid down on the bench, arms trailing toward the floor below him, and stared up at the darkening sky visible through the enchanted ceiling. The sun was setting, and there were some stars peeking through already.

Y'know... they should do star gazing in here, if the candles could be snuffed.

He was hungry. He really should have brought a snack, since the Headmistress was a brilliant but cruel woman who liked to make him wait. Where was everyone, anyway?

Even though she was in mourning over Ariana and Kat leaving, Cat had glanced over at the Ravenclaw table every now and then to see if she could spot Mo. The table was empty for quite a while and she'd begun to wonder where all the Ravenclaws were. Were they protesting something?

However, she did spot someone over there, and how lucky was it that it was the boy she'd been waiting for? Lucky Caterina. She skipped over to the table and glanced down at him. "Are you napping?" Naps usually came AFTER feasts, not before them.

Nigel was a tad late or so he thought. He was looking for Blue. But gave up after relaxing on the couch for a while.

Lazy

Now time for Food and maybe starfishing. It was a long table. So when he entered the great hall, he was a little surprised to only see Mo there. Well it was true that Ravenclaws did not like being early to anything really. Even though you would think the opposite.

"You starfishing over there Mo?"

Because that was an awesome idea. Though Cat's suggestion made more sense.

The feast. End of year feast. Which meant that Tora was going to be a THIRD YEAR soon. It wasn't such a huge deal, but it did mean that she was that much closer to being half way there (something that really scared her). However, since she was a good five full years away from leaving Hogwarts, she decided it was the best time to smile and join her fellow Ravvies for the feast. She didn't see any of her personal friends and so decided to just sit down, a little ways away from the older Ravenclaw gathering. Her friends would be along soon! In the meantime she might as well just sit and admire the ceiling (as her Quidditch captain seemed to be doing).

Taylor came to the Ravenclaw table for the last time. A frown and tears were on her face. She had just written in the memory book... wrote a small message to all... Her eyes grew and she winced. Tay just realized that she had forgotten to write a message for Alec AND Wade! She sighed and frowned, rubbing her face. Great... Oops... She glanced back towards the book and sighed, sitting down at the table. Taylor wasnt in the mood to go socialize at the moment... She was feeling mopey since she was graduating. She did, however, glance around the table in hopes of seeing Lily, Nash, Mins, Harvs or any one of her friends. She tugged on a blonde curl with a small pout on her freshly lip-stick coated red lips. She smoothed out her outfit and spread out her nails, glancing to see if there was even a slight crack in the polish on her freshly painted Ravenclaw colored nails.

Brodie walked over to the claw table and smiled weakly. He had a couple memories here... Most of them with Taylor. He looked around and paused, and speaking of Taylor... He went over to her and sat down, gently rubbing her back, "Hey..." He gave a weak smile, "Can you believe it's the last day?" Oh crap... Stupid Brodie, that was probably why she was crying... He sighed and gently hugged her, "Taylor... I wanted to tell you thank you." He looked at her and smiled weakly. Maybe he should focus on this and then say his thanks.

Did she have to come to the feast tonight? Couldn't she just sneak down to the kitchens and have the elves make her something to eat? You know, so she didn't have to face seeing her best friend be all sad and mopey at her last feast...

Apparently not. A very red faced sixth year trudged into the great hall, not even looking around to see what other friends had arrived. She headed right towards her normal spot at the table, wiping tears off her face with her robe sleeve as she went. Lily plopped down in her seat, pushed her plate and utensils out of the way and laid her head down on the table and proceeded to sob, totally unaware that Tay was right there.

All of a sudden someone was rubbing her back and sitting next to her. It did feel good... just a little... a bit comforting and that was what she was needing right now... She glanced up and gave a very small smile at Brodie. "Hey..." Her smile quickly vanished at his question and a few tears managed to slip. A whimper escaped but she was soon engulfed in a hug by him so it was muffled and relieved. She smiled faintly and hugged back then gave him a confused look. "Thanks... for what? You dont need to thank me for anything..." She slowly pulled away from him and then all of a sudden someone was crying right next to her which almost made her cry. "Brodie... we GOT to meet up sometime... this cant be a goodbye... okay? Her face turned into a mess and she tried to wipe her tears away. "I cant do goodbyes very well... if you havent noticed... Taylor pulled him into a hug and she buried her face into his chest. She didnt care what people would think or anything with rumors at the moment... she just wanted to be comforted and Brodie was still a good friend despite them being exes. Nash wasnt around at the moment and Brodie was there so it was whatever. She would find Nash later anyways probably... maybe? IF not then maybe on the train but surely she will see him soon since they were engaged so yeah...



Tay glanced at the younger girl and then her eyes grew, "Lily!" Taylor hugged her tightly and started to cry as well. She pulled away so that Lily could sit up or whatever. "We got to see each other this summer." Her head was nodding frantically at the moment. "You are my bestest bestie bester best friend in the whole wide world, ya know? And and... I want you to be my maid of honor in 2 years when Nash and I get married..." She nodded and wiped her tears, "We got to see each other because I dont want to lose you as my best friend." Tay tried to bite back more tears as she looked at her friend. She bit her lip as she realized that she hadnt told Lily yet about the engagement. "Erm..." She held up her left hand and showed the ring off to her best friend, "Surprise...?" Tay gave a light nervous chuckle, "Nash proposed to me and we are getting married in about 2 years... or that is what we decided on for now..." A small blush came to her cheeks and she ruffled her curls, waiting on Lily's reaction.

He hugged her back and nodded, "Of course we'll see each other still... Both of us being able to apperate, I'd be there in a second for one of my closest friends." He nodded again and held her, wiping her tears away, "But I really do have to thank you. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be here at all... I wouldn't have met the people I have and I..." He looked at her and trailed off, not wanting to talk about Claudette at the moment, "I... I never would've learned how to play guitar without you helping me..." He suddenly felt himself stiffen but he kept his tears back, he wasn't going to be crying now... He needed to be strong for Taylor, she was clearly heartbroken... Well, he was too, but he'd be strong for his friend. He knew he had it easier than most considering he was only here two years but it was still hard. This was home for all of them, and all of their friends were here... He felt a tear slip but he wiped it away quickly and just gently rocked her, "Everything'll be alright, Tay... Just one sad day to say goodbye and think about it... We'll be out of here and planning the rest of our lives." He smiled weakly at her.

Company! Mo sat up when Cat and Nigel appeared, giving them both a broad grin. "Not napping or starfishing," Mo shook his head, although he'd been pretty much starfishing accidentally. Semantics. "I was saving the bench for you guys, obviously." He scootched down to make room for them to join him.

Now that he was upright, it seemed like his whole team was making an appearance. Mo waved enthusiastically to Tora and Taylor and Lily. He was losing Taylor this year, which was probably why she was all sad-faced. No more Quidditch. But at least he had Tora and Lily again next term. "Hey, ladies. Keep practicing over the summer, and I'll see you at tryouts in the fall." Hopefully. If Professor Pretty kept him on as captain and all.

Honestly, Adrienne was pretty excited for the term to be over. Sure, she loved school and everything, and she'd actually made friends over the year she'd miss them, but what could beat months of free time in which she could hang out with her grandparents in her Aix-en-Provence apartment and devour as many books as she could find. Plus she could reconnect with all of her friends (and enemies) in France, and maybe get out her old tuba and try to play a few notes.

But for now, a much more imminent thing to look forward to was the end of term feast. Though last year's hadn't exactly been up to par, she'd heard great things from Papa, and hopefully it would be as delicious as she was expecting. Adrienne casually plopped down in a chair across the table from Tora, giving her friend a cocky grin and crossing her legs.

"So! End of the year, huh? You psyched for summer?"

The school year was already over? It was a bewildering feeling for the girl who had been about as active this yeas as an unre-animated…or well, an unanimated corpse. Yes she had been a brilliant asset to the Ravenclaw name this year. Really, she was so close to getting on the roster for Ravenclaw Stars next term it was unbelievable. Well, as close as one hundred and thirty four points below the last person on the list. She fiddled with her scarf as she made her way into the great hall. Hopefully it wasn’t that noticeable. Maybe she could pretend she had a cold? Well…that would be awkward when is suddenly disappeared on the train.

Glancing around the great hall she tried to spot if she saw anyone…well, some specific anyones to be honest. But they either weren’t there yet, or were avoiding the end of term feast, and her. She hoped it wasn’t the later.

Still she quickly made her way over to the Ravenclaw table and gave everyone a quick smile. “Hey everyone” she smiled brightly. “Hey Mo,” she waved albeit a little awkwardly as she sat at the table. It felt almost foreign being there. “Nigel,” honestly, she did miss her former teammates. “Hey Cat” she quickly said hellos to the people she recognized.

The Ravenclaw had been tucked away in her dorm, with five different books open on random pages surrounding her on the floor, along with a bunch of highlighters. Time hadn't really gotten the better of her because but she left the tower a little later than originally intended.

And clearly she wasn't late by the looks of things. Where the heck were all her fellow 'Claws? There was - what? ten? - people at the Ravenclaw table so she arrived in feeling very laid back about the feast. End of Term wasn't an emotional experience for her usually, it just meant really good food.

It didn't take long to spot the four from her year, naturally, though Mo was....... lying down. Okay. No judgement. Blue wandered over and stood next to Nigel before shooting Mika a smile. "Hey guys." BEAM. "Whatcha' dooooin'?" She gave Cat a once over, very unimpressed with the lack of cannolis.

Once she had finished packing all her belongings, Claudette made her way into the Great Hall for the feast. She was fairly glad to be leaving if she was honest with herself, not that she had too bad of a year or anything besides the love potion. But she was glad to be going back home to France for the summer before she'd begin her final year at her own school. Yep, this was a one term deal and she was glad she had come here.. she had made some good friends and it had been an interesting experience. But now it was time to go home.

The blonde made her way to the Ravenclaw table to sit at it for the last time. As she lowered herself on the bench, she noticed a few familiar faces there that she'd definitely have to say goodbye to and insist that they stay in touch. Mika was there.. she got a smile and a wave. Taylor and Brodie got the same.. as well as a few smiles and nods for those she knew by sight, though maybe not as well as she'd hoped. And, as much as she was up for a last little bit of socializing before the train came, she was awfully hungry.. where was the food?

As Brodie said his goodbyes to Taylor he gave a weak smile to Claudette. He stood and went over to her and gave a weak smile, "Hey." He sat beside her, "So, are you happy to have the year coming to an end?" He figured same as everyone else the answer would be no, but he still wondered. He knew he was probably a little teary eyed from talking with Taylor but he still tried to fight back that sadness. He paused for a moment to just look around again, I can't believe this really is the last time I'll be here... He then looked back to her and gave a weak smile, "But, I wanted to tell you thanks." He smiled.

Heading towards the Ravenclaw table, he walked toward where the few of his mates sat before joining near where Nigel and his friends sat. "Hey Nigel, how's it going?"

With Tay in sight, he knew just how to greet her. Letting his tongue run through his mouth, the familiar kitty-like purr escaped before smiling, "Hey.. Everything alright, Tay?" It seemed like something was up, but he didn't know just what it was.

Another familiar friend in sight, appeared for Wade as he saw Claudette. He gave her a soft smile and wave, "Hey.. you ready for the summer?"

A little bit of relief came to her face as Brodie said that they will see each other again. She tilted her head, "Im one of your closest friends?" A light smile came and a slight blush appeared. She gave him a tight hug. Her smile grew as he wiped her tears away. "Oh for that? That was nothing." Her cheeks blazed with red as her smile grew even more. "You are such a big sweetie pie now!" She kinda started to beam. She gave a nod and sighed, "Yeah... one sad day... though thing is... i dont really know what i want to do yet... is that bad?" She started to frown and tug on a curl. Taylor glazed at him for a few moments, chewing on her painted lip. She tilted her head and just looked at him before hugging him again. It was another tight hug and she seemed to calm down a little bit again at the hug... probably something to do with serotonin being released during hugs... yeah lets just go with that... instead of being close to someone so familiar and safe.



Taylor glanced up to see the Ravenclaw captain waving in her direction. She gave a faint smile and waved back. "Hey." Sadness entered her eyes as she realized that she wont be playing quidditch anymore. A pout formed but then she gave a light smile again. Oh well... i can always play a pick up game sometime somewhere... but im gonna miss being a Ravvie... She glanced down at the table and tapped her fingers lightly against the wood. The tapping turned into a rhythm and she closed her eyes, letting the noise soothe her.



Taylor was looking around yet again when she saw Claudette give her a smile and wave. She gave a very light smile and wave right back at her. "Hey Claudette." Since Brodie was leaving, Tay got up and moved over to her friend. "Anything fun planned for the summer?" Tay tilted her head and twisted a curl around and around her finger as she looked at the girl. Dont think about leaving Hogwarts as being a sad moment... think of it as being a door closing to another opening... I can be whoever I want to be and do whatever I want... She sighed lightly and smiled a little. "So how was your year of the eagle?" She gave a slight giggle then started to look around for people she knew... and maybe a certain hot hufflepuff *cough*Nash*cough* that would cheer her up probably. Taylor tugged on a curl and nibbled on her red lips.



Taylor glanced up with a beaming smile on her face as she heard purring and saw Wade in front of her with tongue sticking out. She giggled and smiled, letting her own tongue hang out a little. Tay let out a small barking sound at him and giggled. She nodded and wiped a few tears away, "Just a bit emotional, ya know? But Im all fine." Taylor nodded and stood up, throwing her arms around him and giving him a big hug. She gave him a slight smile, "What about you? All okay in kitty world?" Tay pulled away and gave him a twirl then hugged him again. "We totally should hang out this summer before university starts and all that jazz." She gave a slight nod and twisted her ring.

"Of course you are." He smiled and hugged her back just as tightly without hurting her, "Even with the fight... Any other time, you have always been there, trying to make me smile and make me forget my troubles." It rarely worked but she still tried, and it meant a lot to him, "And none of them were nothing... I mean, I never would've met everyone I have without coming here, and I had started to think it'd be better to just stay with Mom and Dad teaching. Had I not wanted to come be with you back then and the beginning of this term, I never would've come here." He nodded, "And I'd probably still be that idiot who tried to use you and only cared about himself." He sighed and shook his head before hugging her back again, "And of course it's not bad. I don't know what I'm doing yet either, though I'm trying to find something that'll be fun." He nodded and smiled at her, "But hey, at least you have people there to help you every step of the way." He truly did envy her for that, most of his support would be gone after he left here, "And one of them's right here." He smiled and pointed to himself. "But, if I'm remembering correctly don't you have a birthday in a couple of days?" The now 18 year old smiled at her.

"Hi Nigel." Cat wiggled her fingers in the boy's direction. "I learned a word in Mermish but I think no one around here would appreciate me showing off." Screeching, more like. Oops.

"How thoughtful." Saving a whole bench because he was a very tall boy. Cat certainly didn't mind. In fact, she tilted her head at him after she took a seat at his side, "Hey, did you get like five feet taller overnight?" Grin. Maybe not that much, but still. She made a little show of trying to REACH his face to kiss his cheek.

"Cannoli?" Saved some just for him, she had. Best girlfriend award.

Cat GRINNED. "And hello to you too, Blue. Lovely to see you." She knew that look well, she'd gotten it lots of times through the year. Where was the food? Hmm. She picked up the box of cannoli and offered it to the Ravenclaw girl. "I think this is a tradition now." Or, she'd just made it one.

"Hello." Cat offered the box, "Cannoli?" But look, food! She left the box on the table so that anyone could have some while she focused on food. Hi Ravenclaws. Gonna eat with you today, cool?

Eliza was late, again. That seemed to be her trademark this year, which wasn't in her normal nature. She'd just been so caught up in her research. Really, she just kept losing track of time more and more as the year went on. Maybe I should've been making some alarm clocks instead, she mused as she made her way to her navy friends.

She plopped herself down next to Claudette and sighed. "Hey there," she greeted the blonde as she brushed her auburn hair behind her ears. "Can you believe it's the feast already? I mean, I'm starving, but the whole year... Anyway, are you excited for summer?" She assumed the girl would be seeing her cousin, Ethan, this summer at some point, which would be especially interesting, with everything that had happened.

Eliza sent a wide smile over to Mika and Tora as well, who were both nearby. They hadn't had much time to hang out this year, but she liked them all the same.

She was about to nibble on a bit of chocolate she'd brought down from the dorms with her when the Headmistress began her speech. She put the chocolate down, knowing dinner would come soon, and listened.
Departing professors? Who...? She noticed the look towards Lafay, which she decided made sense. The woman did just have a baby after all. Maybe she wanted to spend more time at home. But then who would be the Head of House? she wondered. She hoped none of the faculty she was more partial to would be leaving anytime soon.

Nigel would have to say that Mo was starfishing. But not like it matter or anything. "That was very gentlemanly of you." Now everyone shows up. just when Nigel was about to sit down. Nigel heard is name and turned to see it was Mika. "Hey Mika. You ready for summer?" Nigel was just happy to be done with tests.

And out of the blue comes Blue. "Don't tell me you are up to your neck in textbooks" Nigel asked jokingly. Now was the time to relax and eat. Eating should first in that order.Just when you start thinking about hair and what not. Wade appears at the Ravenclaw table. Then it hit him that this was Wade's last feast. That sucks. "Hey Wade, Now what is the secret to your hair?"

It was an important question. Nigel's secret was pickles of course. Who would have thought that. The biggest surprise or Nigel should have seen it coming was that Cat now knew some mermish. "Well, we would not want screeching at the feast. Now is it a funny word or just like Hello?"

Time to sit down.

So Dora had been heading over to the gryffindor table. Really she had. But there was a Wade were friends at her own table that she might not get to see much of after the train ride home, so it was to the claw table that she head first. "Textbooks and screeching? You guys always have the most interesting conversations." But please, could they NOT talk about books? She was done with all of that.

Leaving space in between her and Mo for Nigel (in case he planned on sitting there. She wasn't certain), she took a seat and caaaaaasually glanced around. Casually. Her eyes did settle on the head boy for a moment before she let them roam the great hall entirely.

She pulled out a piece of chocolate and ate it.

Oh, and hi friends.

Yay! Kalla couldn't be more excited about the term ending even if she wasn't going on an awesome vacation. Bam! With a pep in her step she grinned around as she made her way to her house table. Sliding in beside Dora she giggled and fought the urge to simply hug people. Hehe!

Also hello Mo AND PEOPLE. YEAH.

A break from school was going to be nice. Even though Sophie really liked her house and her teammates and decided she disliked the other first years only a few times a week, she had grown a bit home sick over the past couple months. She missed her dad's warm hugs and long talks with her mum and having the freedom to lay around and be lazy and SLEEP IN and not go for runs in the mornings, as much as she truly had enjoyed them all the time. The camaraderie she experienced at school was enjoyable, but it would be nice to just be able to be lazy and read up on wandlore and other fun things she didn't have to worry about being tested on for the summer. Some good ol' time of rejuvenation and such in between visits with friends. Good stuff for the soul.

Slipping onto the bench on the other side of Cat from Mo, the first year scooted up close to Cat and nudged her into Mo a little in greeting. "Hi guys." A limp hand raised for a moment to gesture to everyone in the general vicinity before casually plucking a cannoli from the box on the table and offering knowingly with a big, grateful grin to the Slytherin next to her, "Thanks Cat. M'glad you come prepared with the hors d'oeuvres, I'm starving."

She was quite tardy, but just in time for the speech - which Sophie tuned in and out of, finding the headmistress's Hufflepuff bias exhausting. Yeah, it was cool that a house could take all three Cups. Impressive, even. Yeah, Sophie knew it was the woman's old house. But did she have to yell about it? She rolled her eyes to herself, mumbling things about 'next term' and 'game plans' and 'house-wide required morning runs and study sessions' in between bites of cannoli until the speech was over and food appeared. Thank Merlin.

As she finished Cat's treat and helped herself to mashed potatoes, Sophie eyed everyone at the table with a sort of ominous, dreadful feeling pooling in the pit of her stomach. End of term. People were leaving. But which of them? Oh. There was one. Taylor was a bit down the way. She probably needed to give her a proper goodbye. Was... she ever going to get to see her again? How did goodbyes work around Hogwarts? Did alumni ever return, or did they run away and never look back? Sophie's eyebrows furrowed in dismay at the thought and she tried to shake it off. Feasts were supposed to be about celebration and fun, yeah? Sophie averted her gaze from the seventh year and tried not to dwell on that much. There would be plenty of time to be sad on the train ride home.

For now, she took the liberty to distribute rolls from the bowl in front of her. "Roll?" she offered through a mouthful of mashed potatoes, tossing one to anyone who even acknowledged her offer, whether they wanted one or not. Roll for you, roll for you, roll for you...
