Minerva, in her favorite Minnie Mouse Onesie, Minnie mouse slippers, and of course holding her teddy bear that Ethan got her. She looked around knowing she was going to be one of the first ones here. Assuming she would meet up with her group of student leaders once she got down to her station. She was so glad Kat put her at this station with the two other girls and not the build a stuff animal station. She knew that one would be hard to see the couples, but this.. This was going to be epic seeing people get into pillow cases, jump around like crazy, fall, and someone win.. Yes fun she was totally joining in.

Picking up the pillow cases they were using as sacks, Minerva placed them in a line right where the start was going to be. Looking around she saw the fire and froze. Thinking about last term, maybe she wouldn't go over there at all tonight, but that was where the food was. She would have to see.


Now.. Where were all the fun students wanting to race...

Beezus couldn't help but grin upon arriving at their Event. Everyone was suited up in either adorable pairs of pajamas or wearing the cutest onesies in town! She could tell that the atmosphere was full of excitement, and she was excited herself. At least she was trying to be.... She'd admit it. She was missing people. People whom she had the most fun during these kind of activities but then again, she figured that now was not the right time to dwell on nostalgia and such. She was here to have a good time while still attending to her responsibilities as Prefect.

That's what it supposed to be.

So, flip-flopping with her bunny slippers, the brunette beamed some more and headed to her station. She'd be with fellow seventh years there, Dazzler and Minerva. It ought to be fun.

"Mini!" She called out as soon as she was near. The Hufflepuff was wearing a Minnie Mouse onesie and she just looked so...UGH.. Beezus wanted those ears! "Cute mouse, you are." ...If Kat was also going to be in a onesie, she was so going to change too, Beezus thought to herself.

Before Kat went inside the huge tent they borrowed from Flammy for the Prefects' Event this term, the Head Girl totally went over to the bonfire first. Because food. She'd be manning the Pillow Sack Race for most of the night and she'd most probably starve while sitting there and watching them all race for the prize. But of course, she didn't just get ONE smore. She got two smores and cookie that didn't have chocolate chips (especially for Bee!), because she was very thoughtful and brought some for her fellow Pillow Sack Race man-ers, Bee and Min.

Speaking of them, they already beat her into getting there first. Kat made her way towards her two fellow student leaders.

"Hey, girls!" the Head Girl greeted them with a smile. "I got you both something to eat." Was it weird for her to actually act this way? No? Okay, cool. She handed the smore to Min and the chocolate-less cookie to Bee. Kat didn't know what the cookie was made of, oatmeal or peanut butter or whatever, but at least there was no chocolate. Bee and her chocolate disease allergies, of course. Then she bit into her own smore. She might need more soon.

Minerva heard someone coming near and looked up to see it was Bee, giving her a big smile and a wave. She looked down at her onesie it was so comfy she loved when she got to wear it. "Oh thanks, Kitt.. I mean Wade had gotten the entire team onesie's last term. They are great." She really had to stop calling him Kitty now that he was head boy, but she shrugged it off. "I really like your pajamas as well. This was such a good idea." Who didn't love a good reason to wear your Pj's places.

Looking up when she heard another she noticed Kat coming towards them. The Head Girl got a wave. She had a tank top on for pj's. Min was hoping she wouldn't get to cold. "Hey Kat" Oh she brought goodies, this excited the puff. Smores were always an ooey gooey great treat! "Thanks so much Kat that was nice of you." Taking the treat Minerva bit into it. Feeling marshmallow get all over her face. She laughed a bit wiping it off with her hand.

"Everything seems set and ready.. So who wants to race?" Minerva grinned at the other two. Hey by the looks of it people were taking their time coming to their station so why not a friendly competition between friends.

The brunette made a beeline to look at the rainbow-themed pillow cases they had before returning Mini's smile. Oh, what? The onesie was courtesy of the Head Boy? Beezus couldn't help but chuckle. "Oh...yea, I saw him wearing a onesie too. You think I could get him to get me one?" Because they were cute and heck, Beezus wouldn't mind wearing one when she sets of to Africa after graduation. "....Heh. You know the bunch of us loves having our sleepovers from time to time." How many times have they organized something like this before? The Balloon Spotting, Stargazing..... Merlin, she loved having an Astronomy subject.

"You think we could hold something like this for the seventh years....before graduation? .....If we graduate, that is." She chuckled.

And hey, the Head Girl was here. "Hey, Dazz." Were those...s'mores? Beezus accepted it hesitantly somewhat. She knew those things had choco in them at times, and she haven't had her dose of antillergen potion. She didn't want to suffer an allergic reaction tonight. Not tonight. The treat got cautious looks from her. "No chocolate.........right?"

Taylor wandered down to the sack racing event thingy majiggy. She never did a sack race so she eyed it. Tay stayed at the edge of the event, not sure whether to join... or even how to join it. Taylor was looking around, wondering if she knew anyone there or if she was all by herself in this strange place. Taylor was still happy though and it showed as she sort of danced on the outskirts of this event, watching it. Tay had nothing better to do at the moment so she beamed a smile at everyone there.

Claudette wandered around the pajama party, looking for the next activity. She remembered Min told her that she was helping with the pillow sack race, so when she thought she saw it in the near distance, the sixth year turned off in the direction. A pillow sack race could be fun.. as long as she didn't fall flat on her face, she supposed.. and she giggled at the thought.

The blonde hung back at the side wondering how it started or who she could race against. "Hello," she said brightly as she noticed the other girls assembled there. She waved at Min, then smiled at the others.. Beezus, Taylor, and she wasn't sure who the other girl was.. "So.. how does this work?" Well, besides the obvious, of course..

Yeah, of course. It was kind of her. Katrina Hudson was a Slytherin, but she sure knew how to be kind and friendly. Otherwise, getting hold of such a high ranking position would've been pretty useless. Kat shrugged at what Min said. "Sure, no problem," she replied. She could be kind whenever she wanted or whenever she needed to be. And who didn't like Smores? Whoever didn't was clearly missing out some marshmallow-y goodness.

Kat gave Bee a look that somehow meant 'I'm not stupid'. She was aware of Stunner's allergies when it comes to chocolate and she wouldn't want to embarrass her with whatever might happen if she did eat chocolate. "No chocolate, I assure you," she said. "And just in case you don't like it, I also brought a cookie. With no chocolate too." Because she was a good friend and, why not? Maybe the cookie had peanut butter or oatmeal but surely Bee wasn't allergic to them either, right?

Kat totally noticed the random and awkward girl who looked like someone from her year. The Head Girl gave her some side-glances because she was just... staring at them. Well, did she know that staring at people even if they didn't do anything was rude? In return, Kat stared back. Merlin, she looked too happy to be real. Beaming at everyone, you know. That was strange cos Kat knew that nobody in the whole world, wizard or muggle, was that happy. Clearly the girl had something in mind. So, was she going to come over here and play in the pillow sack race or what?

Hmmm. Kat watched as another girl came over to there activity or station. At least this one didn't, you know, stare and act like a weirdo like the other girl from earlier. As the girl approached, Kat tried her best to put on a pleasing personality (heh) and a smile. She didn't wanna look like an emotionless Head Girl and make a bad impression of herself, you know? It was important to keep it cool because you may never know what people think of you. So that's what she was doing.

"Hi there," she greeted. Okay, so Kat was supposed to explain and stuff. "Well, it's really similar to the normal sack race, except we use large-sized pillow covers. You just have to race and hop around the big teddy bear over there..." she pointed at the huge bear at the end which served as the marker. "... And the first one to return wins. We got prizes, just saying. Are you interested?" And if she had questions and stuff, she could totally approach either her, Bee, or Min. They won't bite, promise.

Minerva laughed, “I bet he would. He got the entire team theirs last term. He seems to like buying them for people.” Minerva would put a little bug in Wade’s ear. Maybe a good Christmas gift she could help get Bee this year. Minerva nodded, “We do like sleepover and Blanket Forts.” She chuckled thinking of the blanket forts, But that might be the puffs.” Her puffs loved their blanket forts, but honestly who wouldn’t. Minerva tilted her head in thought, “A seventh year party? That is an awesome idea Bee. We should seriously ask our heads about it. I’ll help plan it.” That would be amazing. They could have so much fun together.

Eating the smore she couldn’t believe she was getting it all over her hands. “Oops” she laughed, “Kat these are great.” Cleaning off her hands she listened as Beezus and Kat talked about the chocolate thing. “Oh that’s right you’re allergic aren’t you.” She frowned at this, Bee probably didn’t mind it so much since she was use to it, but Min just didn’t know what she would do without chocolate in her life. “So Kat.. Bee was asking about the oneises want Wade and I to get you one as well?” She tried to picture what type of onesie Kat would wear.

Looking up she started waving as Taylor and Claudette showed up. “Taylor get over here closer.” She waved her friend over looking at the two other student leaders. “Bee probably knows these two already, but Kat this is Taylor she is another seventh year and this is Claudette. She’s new this term and Ethan’s cousin.” Well she was… Smiling back at the two girls Minerva kept waving them closer. Listening to Kat talk to Claudette she pointed towards the sacks like some sort of game show model pointing to the prizes. Maybe she was being a little goofy, if anyone asked she was blaming it on Kat for the sugar rush of the smore. “Come on you two grab a Pillow Case and get to the starting line. I’ll totally race you..” because she could race, right? She wouldn’t win the prizes, but she could play with her friends and all. They were allowed to have fun too… She looked at Kat and Beezus, “Want to race?” Come on girls.. it’s on.

Yep. It was a good idea. A seventh year party, exclusive only to seventh years of course. She'd totally ask Professor Pretty if that was possible. She gave the Hufflepuff a wink just as Kat began to handing out noms.

GREATNESS.

No chocolate. She really didn't want to deal with the most ridiculous set of allergic reactions afterwards. Beezus only grinned at the Head Girl when she was given a look, "Hey, hey. Don't look at me like that. I was just making sure." Prevention was better than cure. She also nodded at Mini, "Yep. Allergic. It's kind of absurd, really. But I don't hate chocolates as much as I did before." Chocolates were actually VERY tasty."I'll have some of the cookies too." She said, grabbing the treats and nomming on them immediately while the two other girls conversed.

Look it. Two 'Claws bounding over.

HULLO.

Nodnodnod when Mini introduced them to Kat. She was still eating but she totally knew the two already. They were Ravenclaws. Duhh. And whaaa? They were going to race? All of them? ...Beezus quickly swallowed. Ooooh. Why not? She'd totally love to have some fun in their own station. "I'll race! I'll race!" And before anyone could complain, she pushed the girls over to where the pillowcases were.

Race?

Forrest was here. With his ambition and everything.

Was someone going to dare challenge him?

Kat definitely smiled at Min. Smores were great! "I've never tasted a gross Smore before, so yeah they are tasty," she said. It was a pity that Bee couldn't have one. Well, she could have one... but not with chocolate. It tasted better with chocolate though since Kat had tried tasting the differences when she was younger. She was quite curious and adventurous back then, ending up tasting even the weirdest combination of food. But, hell, it was fun. And then they were talking about onesies. She blinked for a bit, trying to imagine herself wearing a onesie. Merlin, that looked so awkward. "You caaaan surprise me." She liked all animals, you know? Get her a crup onesie if there was one and she would be forever thankful. Now, moving on to introducing. Kat gave a polite nod and smiled at the two Ravenclaws. "Hey... are you both interested in pillow sack racing?" PRIZES AWAITED THEM.

Ooooh. Hungry Beatrice was hungry? There was no chocolate in the cookies, okay? So if anything bad happened to her due to allergic reactions, it wasn anything but chocolate. "Easy there," she said as she watched Bee nom on the cookies. "I wouldn't want you choking." She'd have to prepare that thing Ella did on Theo last term if Bee did choke on too much food.

And they were going to race? Kat would race, but then she'd rather not. Not after eating, of course. She didn't want to disturb digestion and that stuff. Bad things might happen in there if they start doing rough or jumpy activities after eating too much food. "You both wouldn't get prizes though, even if there would be a tie." She stuck her tongue at the pair of them. Save the prizes for the other students, yeah? "But you both are free to race. I can be the judge." She would make a good judge, just saying.

And then, HIM OVER THERE. Kat noticed the younger boy. She gestured for him to come forward. "Do you wanna race and win cool prizes?"

The answer was too obvious.

Race against Bee and Min, yeah? Let's see who WINS. Or if not, he could race against Claudette and Taylor. He'd still get prizes, so C'MON.

She was done eating. So she was ready, to race. But Kat wasn't going to race with them. She narrowed her eyes at her friend but didn't say anything else just yet. They DID need a judge though, she was right. And this was when she retorted, "Pfft. Just admit it, Dazz. You're scared of losing against us." She also stuck her tongue at the Slytherin before bouncing over to grab a green, and silver star-speckled pillowcase. Personal choice? Kind of. And then she was calling over Mini and the other two Ravenclaws. "Come on, come on, you guys." Hurry, people. She wanted to get some hopping done so it won't be too cold out there.

And would you look at who passed by? "Forrest! Hello. Wanna join?" Beezus beamed at the younger Hufflepuff, throwing a red and blue striped pillowcase at him.

Okaay. So Clement looked totally cool in his snakey jammies. He had a onesie upstairs, but he really wasn't into wearing that. So he just had his snake jammies on. At least everyone would know what house he was in. Okaay. He needed to decide what he wanted to go do. Maybe he'd go find his Kat. Because he hadn't seen her for ages, and he could see her now, and have fun at the same time. Ooh. There she was. Over at the pillow sack racing. Well that seemed pretty cool. He was totally up for that. So he snaked over there, looking ultra cool in his snake jammies.

"Hey beautiful." He grinned at Kat, coming up behind her and giving her a little kiss on the cheek. Oh. There was other ladies there too. "Hey ladies..." He shrugged a greeting that them too. Because it would be rude not too really.

Surprise Kat.. hmm Minerva thought about this. She would be talking to Wade soon about their Onesie's maybe all the leaders should have them. Yep that would make it a great thing. She would help Wade get them and stuff. Her thoughts of Oneise distracted by the group that were finally forming for Sack Racing. Grabbing a purple pillow case Minerva got into it. "That's fine.. I don't want prizes anyway.. It's the fun I want." Yes she was in need of fun with the way this term had been going.

Looking up just as Forrest was coming over Minerva waved at him. "Forrest we were just going to start. Grab a pillow case. Beezus and I are racing too." Yep Taylor, Beezus, Claudette, and now Forrest was joining. Oh this was going to be fun and she hoped she didn't fall and embarrass herself to much at least.


Looking over she thought she saw someone else. Squinting in the dark she realized it was a snake by his pj's. Well how very straight forward. Snake Pj's for a snake. Cute.. Trying to make out who it was Minerva realized it was another seventh year. What was his name again. She had not really met him met him, but quidditch so she knew him. "Hello, have you come to race us as well? We are pretty fast, think you're up for it?"


Waddling inside her pillow case Minerva made it over towards the starting line. "Are we ready?" She was at least...

Claudette gave the other girls a friendly smile as Minerva introduced her.. oh, and Taylor was here as well? She hadn't seen her in the dim light of dusk, but now that several of them were willing to race - the student leaders too, right? - the 16 year old knew this was going to be fun. It was just too bad there weren't some boys there too, then they could race boys against girls. That would be even better.

She nodded as Kat explained how it all worked, green eyes following her pointing finger. Seemed easy enough.. "Ohhh, prizes? Can someone win that teddy bear?" She looked at it all hopeful, but figured that was part of the game setup and would be staying. Still, she'd like to know what she could win. "Alright, you're on!" she grinned excitedly as Minerva challenged them all. She giggled as Beezus pushed her towards the pillowcases and she grabbed a pink one before rushing over to the starting line.

As she stepped into her pillowcase, she saw the cutest little boy come over to join them. Awww! Was he going to play with them? "Come race with us," she beamed at him, then noticed another boy, this one older, heading over as well. Ohhhh, this one must be Kat's boyfriend. She gave the girl Snake a knowing smile as the boy kissed her cheek, then returned his "Hello." Alright, let's get started? "So, should we all race together?" That would be more fun, yeah? Claudette was ready..

Yesyesyes he WANTED to race and win cool PRIZES. Win COOL prizes. WIN cool prizes. See? He was that excited. He nodded anyways, in case they misinterpret his face and caught the pillowcase nimbly. He was normally afraid of things thrown towards his face, but today he was too eager to cower away.

So.

Nervous grins. Even though he was going to compete against Minerva, some girl he didn't recognise and the former-Quidditch-captain Dylan's girlfriend Beezus. But this was a race. He wasn't going to be kind to them just because they were girls. He nodded again to show he was ready. Talking distracted him usually, so he turned ahead and looked at that turning point determinedly.

WIN COOL PRIZES.

Definitely.

Beezus was all prepped up for this race they have going on, green pillowcase with silver stars on. She'd tried this kind of racing before with Ira and Isaac and they WON so she was confident that she'd do a splendid job at this one. Plus, she was really getting cold. Some physical activity was needed. And teddy bears? Oooooh. She wanted that too. It was too bad the Prefects couldn't get a prize. Psshhh. "Maybe, maybe not. You'll see." They had LOTS of prizes, y'know.

And who was this......?

STARE.

Yes. Beezus was staring. Did he just call Kat beautiful and kissed her on the cheek as a greeting? ...He did. MEH MEH MEH. MEEEEEEEEH. It felt awkward seeing those gestures and so as soon as she got a hold of herself together, the brunette quickly turned away, not even bothering an acknowledgement back at the Slytherin she didn't know. He had just reminded her of stuffs, okay? That was not cool.

Best to get rid of those thoughts though.

After taking a deep breath, Beezus toddled next to Minerva, forcing out a grin. She was going to have a good time tonight. So, yeah....ready. "I'm all set." She said.

Minerva was standing in her sack at the starting line for what seemed like forever. Once the others started to hope over she smiled getting excited. "Are we all ready?" Yes.. yes they seemed ready at least. Now could they go. Looking over at Kat who seemed to have moved her focus from the group at the starting line to her what looked to be boyfriend Minerva rolled her eyes a bit, laugh and looked to the rest of the group. " On the count of three...." She bent her knees a bit to get ready herself.


"1....2....3.. GO."


She yelled for the rest of them to start and let them go before she started bouncing herself. This was hard and after just a few bounces she felt tired already. Maybe they should use this for quidditch training. Still bouncing she lost grip of the sack and it fell tripping her up a bit. Quickly trying to gather it back up Min started bouncing towards the other side again.
