Of course Penelope was gonna go to the area that had food first. It wasn't really surprising. The only question was, was she allowed to take more than one basket for herself? Or was it only one basket per person? Or multiple people for one basket?

Merlin, no. One basket per person made more sense than multiple people with one. She couldn't possibly only eat half - or less o_O - of these things. They weren't THAT big. She needed a whole one for herself definitely. Yes. So she picked one up.

Awar was close to tears at the sight of the glorious food packed into this cute picnic baskets. She picked one up and held it close to her chest as she took a big whiff of the amazing delights.

Looking around, she noticed it was just her and this other girl there. She smiled at the other person as she made her way to one of the blankets on the grass.

Homework can definitely wait, she thought, biting into one of the sandwiches. Those house elves are culinary gods!

Kace decided he wanted to walk on the grounds today. He wanted to enjoy the fresh weather. It was beautiful outside today. Why waste it indoors? He smiled and was smelling the flowers. Then he saw a girl eating sandwiches by herself. Awww that is NO good at all. He went over and wanted to join her.

"Hey there can i join...." then he realized who it was. It was Awarlesta! He met her briefly at the feast. He hadn't seen her in SOOO long. He jumped and went down and sat next to her. "Hey Awarlesta! How have you been!? It has been like ages since i have seen you." he told his friend.

"You enjoying those sandwiches?" he asked with a big grin.

She had just taken another large bite of her sandwich when someone came up behind her. Awar, with overly stuffed cheeks, looked up and saw one of her friends, Kace, right in front of her. "KERCE!" Putting down her sandwich, she opened up her arms for a hug. "Hurr awr chuu??"

She swallowed. How unladylike of her to talk with a mouth full of food! Her grandmother would've scolded her like a dog. "Yeah! The food in this basket is awesome!" She gestured to a spot on the blanket, "I've had a nasty flu." She sniffled a bit to show she was still recovering from its last sickly wrath. "What have you been up to?"

Whoaaa there was a whole picnic area! Dylan had to keep himself from squealing in excitement or jumping up and down like crazy. Smiling widely, he made his way over and grabbed a picnic basket for himself and found a spot on one of the blankets that hadn't been taken. Ahh, this was brilliant. And it was a gorgeous day out. He glanced up at the clear blue sky and squinted a little bit and the brightness of the sun. Smiling, he turned his attention back to his basket of fooood. The first year eagerly opened it and pulled out some pumpkin juice and took a swig. He then glanced around himself for any familiar faces to enjoy this picnic with.

This was the end of all the brain and guts for the foreigners but there was one more small act Gaston felt was necessary before leaving the English Wizardry School. It was a simple act and much like his first, just with a bigger variety of potential victims and therefore more variety of chaos.

With a slightly different love potion hidden in his jacket pocket, Gaston made his way towards the grounds. He looked around for a while, even interacted with a few people girls here and there and then eventually got to his last 'task'. The sixteen year old neared the picnic area and then headed towards the picnic baskets. He wished it were a served table instead and heaved a quiet sigh because this would make things just a bit more difficult. But he wouldn't stop, he never gave up.

He opened a basket and took out the small bottle of potion whilst making sure nobody and that meant nobody was watching him. He poured a few drops of the potion into the lemonade of the basket as well as the pumpkin juice. He then closed the basket and repeated the process with a few more baskets still making sure no-one was watching.

Now this potion was slightly different to the first, he had managed to found one that would make him much less suspicious. When this potion was consumed the drinker fell in love with the first person they laid eyes on rather than the actual giver of the potion. And this would be perfect to get any suspicious eyes off him.

So...where was the love?

Minerva finally got a break from the Gnomes and maybe she could get some ice for her hand. It still hurt from the stupid Gnome bite. Her blue eyes glared as she saw him. Gaston. She marched right up to him and tapped his shoulder. Her foot was tapping in annoyance. "Who do you think you are? Did you think you would get away with it?" Yes she was still fuming. "How dare you give my friends love potion. How dare you tell Alexa to give one to me. Couldn't handle a girl denying you? Is your ego that big that you had to force people to love you since one wouldn't kiss you?" Pathetic really. Honestly there was probably girls here that thought he was cute without a potion.

She stepped closer, "If I ever find that you go near Claudette or Alexa again you will be sorry." She glared some more, "Honestly, who does that? Who needs to give a love potion to people. Does your own classmates not like you so you had to make sure you had a cheering section at the last task? Well I hope it was worth it, because it was quickly figured out." Of course it was Alexa didn't share chocolate, nor wear dresses, and Claudette never acting crazy.

She shook her head and looked at the food, "You need to get what you want and move along. I don't trust you near the food nor the drinks." She opened the basket with the juices, "Go on pick what you want and move along." She crossed her arms and still tapped her foot. He needed to pick his things and get a move on. "Plenty of blankets over there for you to eat on." She wasn't leaving this spot until he picked his drink and food and left.

Claudette had only just started showing her face around the castle and grounds again lately after that whole embarrassing love potion incident but she was still very much on edge about it all and worried about what people thought or how they might look at her. But term was almost at an end and she had heard about this party, wanting to attend.

Taking some very tentative steps through the grounds, green eyes looked this way and that, briefly glancing at every person along the way, wondering if they were talking about her and the spectacle she had made. She supposed what was done, was done and there wasn't anything she could do now but hold her head high and move on. But she was still very embarrassed and furious with the boy at the center of it all.

The first area in her sights up ahead seemed to be a picnic area. There were blankets and baskets on the ground along with a few people. And two of those people were rather familiar. One she rather liked and was glad to see.. the other? Well, she was glad to see him too for other, more vengeful reasons.

"YOU!" Claudette marched up to Gaston, her wand drawn and poked him in the chest with it. "I have a few choice words for you," she said glaring. "Just who do you think you are, poisoning girls so they'll fall for you? Can't get a girl based on your own merits? Pathetic." Yes, she had been mortified with her actions, ones that he caused, but now she was channeling that embarrassment into well-placed anger. Her wand still poking him in the chest as she gripped it tightly, she added, "Give me one good reason not to hex those disgusting lips off your face."

And yes, she was still aware that Minerva was standing there, but she knew her friend would agree that she had every right to say what she did. Still keeping her eyes on Gaston, she quickly glanced to the corner of her eye. "Hello, Min.. you didn't.." Wait, there was food here. Her eyes glared accusingly at Gaston. "Min, you didn't eat or drink anything from here, did you? I wouldn't put it past him to tamper with the refreshments here either." She jabbed her wand at him. "You put something in the food and drinks, didn't you? Is that why you're over her??" Well? Was it? "I don't trust him for a second."

He was being attacked two girls at once with their words. This was not good but it was too late for them to see he had already spiked the drinks with his new potion. So it was easy for him to act like it was not him and his new potion would surely help him get away from the suspect target.

"I was given the chocolates from someone else and I do not really believe they are healthy so I wanted to give them away and I thought to you all would be kind. " He lied confidently. He had already practiced what to say if this were to happen. "I did not know there was love potion inside. I am truly sorry. " Or was he?

As for the baskets beside him not all of them were spiked and the ones that were, they did not need to know about. "I promise I did not use any of that love potion in these baskets. I was just choosing one for myself. " He was careful with his words using 'that' and not 'a' for the potion because that way it was only a white lie . "It disgraces me how such beautiful women could accuse me like this."

With that he took a non-infected basket and left to sit on his own.

Still keeping her wand on him, Claudette narrowed her eyes and set her jaw at Gaston as he attempted to make lame excuses for the love potion incident. He really was pathetic. "You don't actually think we believe that, do you?" she practically snarled at him. Honestly. None of them were stupid. Maybe a naive first year would believe such nonsense, but certainly not her. "Potions is my best subject. I have my own personal potions lab at home and my mother is the head potioneer at Hirondelle. I know how a simple Amortentia works. You brewed it. And you tainted the sweets with it." And even if she was clueless about potions, it was all too coincidental.

What? He promises? Claudette didn't even bother to fight the imminent eyeroll. "And we are just supposed to trust your word?" Right. Like that was going to happen. And then she glared some more. "You should feel disgraced. What you did was vile and despicable." And he still hadn't given her a valid reason for not hexing him yet. He should feel lucky she was even letting him speak and allowing him his say.

OH NO HE DIDN'T.

He was not seriously walking away just now. "Where do you think you're going?" she raged at his retreating back as she felt her blood boiling. "Get back here, we aren't through with you." She pointed her wand and cast a Bat Bogey Hex directly at him as she stalked off towards him. "You messed with the wrong person," she said through gritted teeth. "I am going back to Beauxbatons next term.. I will be haunting your every footstep until I feel like you've made up for my humiliation."

They'd be announcing the winners, money would be given out, blah blah blah. The only good thing to come of yet another event being hosted by the prefects was the FOOD and the fact that the Foreigners would be leaving shortly after. Good riddins to them when they were gone. Those students didn't know how to act in public. Rude and stuck up, that's how they'd been this whole time. Alexa was a sociable girl but even she had her limits and they had reached it.

Today she would be looking for her friends. If she couldn't find them she'd go looking for random Hogwartians. Anyone but them. The Gryffindor wasn't interested in talking to them anymore.

Lex walked over to the picnic area, ready to grab a basket and help herself to the entire thing on her own...unless of course her friends showed up, when she spotted both Min and Claudette using forceful language--and hey, wand jabbing. At first, she had no idea who'd been so unfortunate but then she heard the voice and the figure came into view the moment he'd taken his seat away from the two. Him.

Hexes where being cast and they weren't by her.....YET. "Bet you thought you'd get away with it, huh?" Lex asked, stalking over to him in stride with Claudette. Without warning she kicked at the basket of food he had.

His face would be next.

Kace chuckled by the way she pronounced her name when she had a lot of food in her mouth. "Hey Lesta!" he smiled and went over to give her a big bear hug. Everyone likes bear hugs right? As he broke away, he replied..."Oh i am fine! Just been exploring the castle, getting all my assignments done and getting ready for summer." he said loving the weather outside. So much better than being indoors studying.

Oh she gestured? I guess he could sit down. He sat down on the blanket and he heard she had a nasty flu. "Awww i am sorry to hear that...well i am glad you are feeling better now!" he said brightly. Then he took a sandwich because he got really hungry. He took a big bite and then Lesta asked him a question and he held up his pointer finger and chewed and swallowed and then answered.

"Oh i haven't been up to much lately. I just been chilling and focusing on my studies lately. But i hope to play Quidditch next term." he told Lesta. He wondered if she remembered him playing last term. "But i have been hanging with Mairgold a lot lately and that is going well."

Well in a matter of seconds this scene changed quickly. She was in Gaston's face wanting answers, ranting at how he was annoying and egotistical to need so many girls falling for him and the next moment Claudette was jamming her wand into his chest. Not that he didn't deserve it. "Hi Claudette." Min left her wand in it's holster for now, but she could grab it quickly if needed. Did she what? It took a few seconds for it to register and she had already started on the food. "No.. no Thank Merlin no. Could you even imagine how bad that would have been if I would have eaten any of that." She glanced at the food, "I agree that's why I want him away from it, but do you think he already did something." She glanced at the food, maybe she needed to get a professor here.

Before she could think of that again Gaston was going off, "Are you kidding.." She didn't get to finish Claudette was already started on him about how much of an idiot he really was thinking they would fall for someone else did the love potion. If someone else would have done it the girls would not have been super in love with Gaston like they were. "Gosh you are so full of yourself aren't you." She was agreeing with everything Claudette was saying, but she blinked when she heard Claudette send a hex at the boy.

Now she was torn, "Claudette be careful. You don't want to land yourself in one of those horrid detentions over this jerk." She wanted to see this guy hexed into next week, but she was a student leader and had to keep order at the same time. She probably would look the other way for just a few hexes though. Moving closer to where the boy was sitting Minerva then saw Alexa and couldn't help but grin. Oh Gaston did not know what just hit him with the three girls together. He wasn't getting away with any of this now was he.

She was glad that Kace was going for quidditch again next term. He was very good! He never got around to teaching her more about quidditch like he said he would though. Oh well, maybe next term.

At the sound of Marigold's name, her ears perked up and she leaned in slightly, shifting her eyes side to side. "Soooo....are you and Mari...a thing?" She whispered. Oh, she hopes she didn't miss it. She's been rooting for these two for aaaaagggesas!

Dora wasn't here because she was hungry, she was here because she was bored. The didn't often happen, except her best friend was playing with chalk and bubbles, and her boyfriend was no where to be found. Actually a lot of her friends were manning the games, having friends with badges could suck at times and this was one of them.

There wasn't enough boredom in the world to have her over there with the Gaston boy, even if he was pretty. He came off as a prick. Penelope though, she was interesting and all. Dora sidled up to her casually, peering at the basket behind shaded eyes. "You suppose they all have the same things in them?"

Kace chuckled when she asked. "Uhhh i do not think we are 'a thing' yet..." he said putting finger quotes around 'a thing'. "I literally have no idea." he told Lesta truthfully. "But i know i like her that is all..." he said. "But how about you? Do you like anyone?"

Kace is such a cute kid! She couldn't wait till Mari and Kace become an actual "thing". She'd probably explode from adorableness. Speaking of Mari, wonder where she could be...

Awar blushed, quickly hiding it behind her big hair. She lowered her voice, "I-I began to feel something for...um, Alec. But I thought it was silly. It's just a silly crush. He being with Ella and all...they're happy and I'm just being silly. I'm being silly right??" Those cookies look absolutely delicious!

Prize money?! Cutty was so there! He was quite glad for the weather to have started warming up. It meant that his plan to lake bathe in his pants and show everyone in the common room his bare naked bottom was that much closer to being realized. Nothing like a friendly mooning to wish one's friends a Merry Summer and a hearty Don't you forget about me!

He looked on at the display of sweeties & snackery things, but did not partake. He had business. The messy haired boy drifted deeper into the the grounds like a well-trained niffler.

Once Kace mentioned crushes, he saw Lesta blush. He tried to make her feel comfortable and he wouldn't judge her in anyway. OH she liked Alec huh? Well he was a pretty popular dude. He could see that. That was true he was dating Ella. They were like an inseparable couple come to think of it. They ruled the school. When she asked if she was being silly, he shook his head and grinned. "No you are not being silly. Sometimes we can't help or choose the ones we like. We just do." he shrugged.

Woooaahhhh now he was quoting his older sister. This was a new one. Good thing Belle wasn't here to hear this. She probably wouldn't let him live it down. "But i can see why you like Alec, he is a pretty cool dude." he winked and nudged her playfully. "Your secret is safe with me!"

Picnicking sounded like a BRILLIANT idea.

Stuffing his hands into his pockets, the boy headed over towards the picnic area and over towards the baskets. This... was the first place he was coming towards which was a little surprising since, if he wasn't mistaken, there was talk about a broom game going on. Maybe he was spending too much time with a certain leprechaun. ... Yeah... MAYBE.

As he walked, his eyes found the small group of people around a French boy which included Blondie, Minnie and Candy Girl. And... he was slightly amused. Because it didn't look like the girls were in trouble. And he certainly didn't want to cross that group. So... he looked away, still pretty much amused.

... Baskets. Right.

Coming to a stop near the basket area, the boy had a look around at each of the baskets, trying to size them up. ... They... were the same size, right? And had the same things inside of them? Which meant no spinach whatsoever? Could he have a quick peek inside them or...?

... Probably not. So he stood there. Still trying to size each of the baskets up.

Her stomach was doing the grumbling thing. The kind of thing that called for sweets or a sandwich or anything delicious and edible, really. This whole student leadering thing was sure a good way to work up an appetite. Mhm.

Ella was allowed to take a food break, right? And Wade and Kat wouldn't be too mad if she slipped over to the picnic area as long as she didn't stay away long, yeah? Or at least that's what she was hoping as she made her way over to where the baskets were situated.

And the baskets definitely weren't the first thing that caught her eye. She was more focused on the tall figure standing in front of them, seemingly deep in thought. Ells would recognize that hair anywhere, y'know, and so the smile was immediate. Boyfriend! GRIN!

Quietly, the seventeen year old walked up beside him and nudged him gently. "If it makes you feel any better, I think they're all filled with the same thing." Completely helpful, she was.

Hi, Alec.

He didn't really know how long he was standing there for but... it was only after a while that the boy realised... picnicking alone didn't sound great. Not at all. Maybe he'd find someone to sit with. Or he could observe whatever it was that was going on with the Frenchie and the group of girls. Except... he wasn't a creep.

... Right. Observing the baskets... observing...

... jump.

Alec turned around wildly to look over at the person who had nudged him. They were filled with the same thing? "Which means no spinach, right?" Because girlfriend person knew how he felt about that. And she was a student leader so... she had to know what were in the baskets, right? He had a feeling that students leaders tended to find out a lot and knew pretty much everything. Probably.

Oh... GRIN. "Hey! ... Erm... you're not waiting for anyone are you?" She couldn't POSSIBLY resist the urge to picnic with him. Unless she had to be somewhere. Or was meant to be meeting someone here.

Was it too soon to use the puppy dog eyes to make her stay?

She was always making him jump, did he know? It was only cementing her belief that she was an extremely stealthy badger and so she completely approved. Completely. "Did I scare you?" Grin!

Spinach? Ella wrinkled her nose and shook her head. She did know how he felt about that and she felt the same. "Of course not! Ham and Cheese, I think. Turkey sandwiches too. Hopefully something sweet for dessert!" She wanted chocolate. Or maybe...gummy worms. There probably weren't gummy worms in these, though. Sad days.

Didn't he know there was no one else she'd rather picnic with? The captain smiled and tucked a rogue strand of hair behind her ear before answering. "Just taking a break from bumper brooms, actually. Are you waiting for anyone?" Or could she steal him for a bit? And by steal she was thinking kisses but sharing food would be good too and her stomach grumbled as if on cue.

The blonde stepped forward and grabbed a basket at random, holding the handle with both hands. Whether boyfriend was joining her or not, Ella was planning on eating all the things and soon.

Did she scare him? ... Maybe. Was he going to tell her this? Probably not. Strong man wizard, remember? "I... boyfriends are for kissing, not scaring," he said, a sheepish expression crossing his face. Hint hint, Captain.

NO SPINACH. Ham and cheese... and turkey! "Sounds great!" Probably not as great as BLT sandwiches but tons better than... spinach-y. Something sweet for dessert? "Did you manage to tell the person making the food to include gummy worms?" She DID seem to know everything that was in here, though. Smart Bishop was smart.

... And... it turned out that she was sneaky enough to know what to use against him. His eyes widened a little as they followed the movement of her hair. ... Right. Yeah. She was talking. FOCUS. "I... I was going to come there later, I think. How are things over there?" he asked, trying his hardest not to look over at her hair again. SO BLONDE.

"No... think you want to picnic together?" he asked, watching as she took hold of a random basket. Were they meant to share the basket or... one each?
