The Badgers, reigning House, Gobstones, and Quidditch Cup champions, sit under a slightly frayed black and gold banner representing their house. However, the table is nicely polished and all the place settings are just perfect. If you're an outgoing seventh mirror, enjoy your LAST MEAL EVER at Hogwarts!

So this was it.. This was her final time walking through these doors as a student into that beautiful magical hall. She closed her eyes right in front of the doors and tried to remember back. Remember her first time walking through and seeing that hall and how in awe she was over all that was in there. How she couldn't believe she was not dreaming. It was hard to remember back that far now and not thinking was totally normal. Something she saw daily the last seven terms. Still she tried to think about it. As Minerva walked through those doors she looked around. She was one of the only ones there which was the way she wanted it. She wanted to see the hall empty, to memorize every feature of it.
Wiping tears away that she had already started having as she packed, she made her way over to her familiar table. Touching it and looking down it she smiled thinking of the memories, glancing towards the claw table and thinking of those memories as well. She couldn't have thought about this hall or any of these feasts without thinking about the Claw table. Finding a seat in the middle of her own table she sat quietly thinking, thinking about everything and just taking as much as she could in.
Brodie walked in and looked around. So this was it... His last feast. Sure he hadn't been here long and he still didn't know many people but hey... It had been one hell of a year. With Damon dying, his parents inviting him to move back in, and he was about to graduate from Hogwarts... The school he use to dream of going to. He'd finally been able to scrape enough money to make it there for his last two years and he couldn't be happier. Even if he was alone now. He didn't have Taylor by his side this time, which he didn't mind as much as knowing he'd probably never see has few friends here ever again and that with another months time, Leroy, Charlie, and Nick would all be off at uni, Vik would be in the US for a modeling career, and Vince would be planning a wedding and working at the Ministry. So, maybe he'd be alone with no one to talk to for quite a long while but, eh... For once he wanted to just have a good night and smile and laugh with the few friends he had.
He sat down and looked at Minnie, "Hey." He gave a weak smile to his new friend and looked around, "Shocking isn't it, knowing it's our last time in these spots?" He didn't really know what else to say. He was still in shock. All year he'd been so ready to leave and move on but now that he was here there was a major sadness on his shoulder. He'd had so many laughs here, he'd shockingly made great memories... He loved the school and he was starting to remember why he'd been so thrilled to come two years ago... It hadn't just been to be with Taylor like he'd thought back then, it was for the education. He loved to learn and this school helped him do that.
Laura Walked into the Great Hall, she couldn't believe that it was time to say goodbye to Minnie and Nerida, She totally didn't want to say goodbye to them, why couldn't they have been in her year with Ella and Sophie and. Laura suddenly stopped she hadn't seen Carigan for ages and she just hoped her friend was okay maybe she would see her today if not she would send an Owl to her friend.
Laura sat down at the Hufflepuff table and looked around things were seriously changing at the school, first she had lost Annabelle and Zhenya, though she remembered all the fun she had with both of them and they would always be special to her but Nerida and Minnie had helped her out through rough times especially Minnie who had been there with her ever since her first class when she had lost points.
Laura just looked up at where the Professor were and just hoped that the head would say her speech quickly so that she could leave because she was getting really close to tears, saying goodbye to one friend was one thing but to say goodbye to two special friends that was another.
Laura knew she would see Minnie again because she had promised and Minnie never broke a promise but Nerida she wasn't sure about because she hadn't seen her friend for a few weeks and so her present and card were in her pocket, she was either going to give her them when she saw her take her seat at the Ravenclaw table or more than likely she would give her them when they were on the train.

Alec would been heading down to the feast a little earlier if it wasn't for the simple fact that the dorm was a complete mess. The mess that had been made from the Mags situation seemed to have stayed there and.. well... Alec had been putting off cleaning and re-packing his trunk. That was, until, he had realised that it was almost time for the feast and ended up hurriedly collecting up his clothes again in the hope of a) being properly packed for the train and b) getting down here in time.
Except... a simple glance around the Hall told him that he was here early. Or maybe people were coming later. Maybe. He headed over towards the Hufflepuff table, his grey eyes glancing at the Gryffindor table as he went. Would it be rude to head over there to say goodbye? Even if he was going to see certain people soon enough? Would Jake mind? Was he even coming? But it turned out that no one was there yet. That... was strange.
Deciding to go and badger the graduating lion later, Alec looked over at the Hufflepuff table. Three people. Not bad. "Hey Laura," he called, giving her a small smile and a wave. How was it that he hadn't seen her much this past year? "Hey Brodie." Smile and wave too. Wasn't... he graduating as well?
But one graduate he was anxious to go and see was sitting right over there, towards the middle. So... with a heavy heart, Alec headed over and sat down next to her. This... this right here was one person he didn't want to see go. And up until this moment, he had told himself that the girl wasn't graduating at the end of the year. But now... Frown. "Hey Minnie," he said in a small voice, "You... you okay?" It was a silly question, yeah, but he felt the need to ask it. And tears weren't going to be shed today. Unless... had she already been crying?

One year gone already! Had time practically flown? He arrived at the Hufflepuff table, feeling proud to have been sorted into such an awesome House with even more awesome people. "Hey, guys!'' he said cheerfully to Min, Alec, Laura and Brodie. He did not miss the look of Min's eyes. He knew she had been crying.
As Alec was sitting on one side of her, Adi sat at the next side and wrapped his little arms around her. Min had been one of those Puffers that had made him feel completely at home and he would never forget it.

This really was it.. wasn't it. Wade's brows furrowed as he slowly took his time to the Great Hall. It sure felt like yesterday when he first walked into the Great Halls of Hogwarts. There were feelings that needed to written.. but he could wait a little while longer. Right now he just wanted to enjoy some more time with his friends.
His smile was softer than usual, bordering on gravely as he saw the first five sitting. "Hey everyone.." His smile showed towards Min, Alec, Adi, Brodie, and Laura. It faltered a little when he saw Min looking upset.. but he knew why."We did it, Min.. we really did it." He gave Min a hug, as 'goodbyes' and 'see you laters' were approaching fast, trying to put in that he knew how he felt into it before taking his seat right by Alec.
There were times of being sad and there were times to be proud.. and Wade was feeling both. "What a year.. how are you all?" He then asked.

Goodbyes were never going to be easy for Ells and maybe that's why she'd spent more time than ever organizing and reorganizing her trunk. And then making her bed, and doing her hair, and checking that the room was tidy, and then just sitting quietly on her trunk, stuffed elephant wrapped in her arms. Eventually she'd run out of excuses to stay put and it was only then that she headed to the feast, knowing she had to suck it up.
Fixing a smile on her face, the captain approached the Hufflepuff table slowly. She bit her lip when she saw that two of the people she'd be missing most were there already and surrounded by badgers. Her green eyes then wandered to the Gryffindor table in search of Anya. Maybe...she'd go over there later. Maybe. Right now she had to sit and pretend this was all okay. No tears, that's what she'd decided.
"Hey, you guys," She greeted quietly as she took a seat across the table from the little group that had gathered. Her eyes raked over the faces of each and she smiled faintly, her eyes resting on Alec a second longer than the others. Hi boyfriend, you okay? And then, because she was feeling the sadness set in, she said softly, "Pretty great day to be a Hufflepuff, huh?"
Champions. It felt pretty amazing and maybe they could focus on that.
Laura saw Ella come into the room and smiled at her. "Hi Ella." Laura looked at her friend and sighed, this was going to be one weird end of term feast and Laura had no idea what she was going to do next, she couldn't think of anything nice to do to cheer everyone up like she normally would.
Laura then smiled at Alec. "Hey Alec, How are you?" Laura looked at her friend, how come she hadn't seen him at all much this term well she would have to speak to him more next term, but now she was really sad.
Laura looked at everyone else and just sat there, she could tell Minnie had been crying but she wasn't going to say anything about it because if she did she knew she would break down and cry with her friend. Why was it when you got older everything changes.
Nashville just walked into the great hall just as he finished writing in the memory book, he needed to find Capt. Ella for crying purposes...more like to not cry purposes and he knew very well that there was a HUGE chance that he was going to blubber like a little baby seal...get it? A seal has blubber for skin! Nashville roared with laughter at his own joke as he walked over the the Hufflepuff table. The Brazilian scanned the seat. "I NEED MY CAPTAIN ELLAPHANT!!" he called/yelled over the Hufflepuffs.

Nashville looked harder. Was that her voice he had just heard. Nashville's brown eyes followed the voice. IT WAS HER! Aww. There she was. "SORRY FOR YELLING, I FOUND HER." Nashville made his was over to the blonde and hugged her tightly. "Can you do me a favor and make sure I don't blubber like a baby seal today?" Nashville laughed a his seal joke from earlier. If only people were able to be in his mind twenty-four/seven, they just might go insane.

OH MY GOD! It was Wade. PICKLE!MAN, what a lovely boy Wade was. He was just a boat load of joy. DON'T BLUBBER, the seventh year told himself, blubbering was a sign of weakness but he was leaving everybody so maybe it was normal? "Pickle!Man! Wait, no. ABSIE! What's 'sup?" he grinned at the curly haired seventh year.

It was the Feast already? Marigold was not at all expecting this. But she had showed up her happy self, looking at all the crying seventh years. She would go up and hug them, but she didn't know them. It wasn't like Ronnie. Hey, she should write to Ronnie!
It seemed like this year had lasted forever, and now it was over. Weird feelings. Like next year she would be a third year! She looked around for a leaving person to hug. Or to meet.

Adi's cheerfulness made Alec smile a little. It was... good to know that people could be happy. And the two had grown quite close over their duel long ago. "Hey Adi!" he called, waving back at the guy, "You okay? Looking forward to the summer?" He wasn't hurt from that duelling session, was he?
Feeling someone sitting down on the other side of him, Alec turned his head and blinked a couple of times at the person sitting right there. This... no. This was hard. A lot harder than he had imagined. But he was sitting next to two of his favourite graduates so... the boy was a little glad about that. Reaching up, Alec ruffled Curly Wade's luscious locks. Just for old time's sake, you know. "I'm... I'm okay," Since the boy was asking. "How are you? Had a great year?"
... Girlfriend. She looked sad. Or... well... something about that smile wasn't exactly convincing the boy that she was as happy as she could be. "Hey you," he said, "You... okay?" Did she need hugs? Because he had lots of those. ... And... she was sitting a little too far away, did she know? He reached out a hand towards her, instead. She wouldn't mind, right?
His eyes wandered over towards Laura, who was speaking to him. Was he okay? "Yeah... yeah, I'm okay. How are you?" ... Pause. "And... erm... had a good year?" Since they hadn't talked much these past nine months. Or at all. Looking past her, his eyes landed on a girl (Marigold) who seemed to be all alone and gave her a small smile and a wave. Hey there--
...
And then Nashville Richmond Cash happened.
Not that Alec minded since... hey! Hugs! And this was probably the last time they were going to be hugging at Hogwarts so... the younger Puff wrapped his arms around the graduating badger and hugged him back. Not that one armed nonsense either. A good, proper, squeezy hug. A small lump started forming in Alec's throat when he heard Nash's words. "I'm really sorry, man," he said quietly, patting the boy on his back, "You're going to be brilliant at whatever you do, Pie Man. I just know it."
Brodie looked up people coming. They sure seemed to all come in at the same time. He smiled at Alec the only other Hufflepuff aside from Minnie he knew, "Hey Alec... Happy end of the year." He smiled weakly and looked around, still finding it odd how he had begged for this day for so long, and now, he wanted nothing more then to go back and just relive the entire year. Sure it was crappy, but he'd still be at the school with everyone. He looked down and paused hearing Nash's voice, almost the entire term Brodie went trying to avoid him... And now all he wanted was to apologize for never knowing Nash and yet still hating him just because Taylor had liked him. It seemed so stupid now to him, so childish... So he sighed and went over to his fellow seventh year and gave a small nod, "Hello." He said plainly, not really sure how to add to that. Did Nash even know who he was?
So the end of term feast. This was too surreal. His second year went by really fast. He briefly remembered coming here and ready to start his second year and now he was going to go back for the summer? Well he will be a third year. That shall be interesting. As he approached the table, he noticed his fellow puffs were there too. He saw Minnie, Head Boy Wade, Captain Ella, Alec and Marigold and Nash. He even saw Minnie crying and couldn't blame her. He didn't know how he would react to when he reached his seventh year. He wouldn't think about that now.
He sat down and was enjoying the scenery. He loved the great hall and how it was decorated. He then went over to the seventh years and give them a last chat. He saw Wade first, "Hey Wade." he said and giving him a smile. Then he saw Minnie and said, "Hey Minnie." but he didn't wanna bother her since she was dealing with her feelings. He even saw Nash and why not give him a hello too. "Hey Nash!"

Brodie walked in and looked around. So this was it... His last feast. Sure he hadn't been here long and he still didn't know many people but hey... It had been one hell of a year. Minerva was just looking around she had been alone in the great hall so when she heard the doors open her blue eyes glanced over. Seeing Ariana walk into the room she gave her best friend a small wave when their eyes met. Best friend cuddles would be necessary today even if they were both having a bitter sweet moment. They were both happy to be going home for boyfriend reasons, but that didn’t make leaving any easier. As her mind started to drift to the thoughts of home and the things ahead she heard a voice that made her look up. “Oh.. Hey Brodie. Sorry I guess I was in my own head again.” She had been doing that so much lately. She looked around as he said about leaving, “I’m not really sure it’s really hit me yet that this is it.” They were really sitting at this table for the last time. “I remember thinking seven years in this castle seemed like a really long time once. I was so wrong.” She really was, it was so fast. “How about you, are you ready to be done here?” She remembered him hating it here not to long ago.
SPOILER!!: Laura
Laura Walked into the Great Hall, she couldn't believe that it was time to say goodbye to Minnie and Nerida, She totally didn't want to say goodbye to them, why couldn't they have been in her year with Ella and Sophie and. As Minerva talked to Brodie she noticed someone else coming into the hall and making their way towards the table. Puffy blue eyes landing on her friend she gave Laura a small smile. Thinking about the card and just how sweet Laura really was. “Hey Laura, you ready to be the big seventh year now?” She half chuckled at the words. Laura Hyde a seventh year, it just didn’t seem possible. She was still that first year and Min a second year, wasn’t that how it was like a minute ago? She glanced at the table to watch others joining before turning back to Laura, “So ready to go home?” She couldn’t remember if they discussed what Laura’s summer plans were or not, but she did know Laura would be coming to visit her at least once in Germany.

Unless... had she already been crying?
As the noise started to grow in the great hall Min found herself back in her own thoughts. Glancing to the staff table she half wondered if she should take a walk up there to sit in the healer seat again. Why not finish how she started. Maybe in a little while she would do just that, she needed to see Professor Flamsteed and Hadley at least once more before she left. Hearing her name again she turned her eyes onto the boy or well young man in front of her. She gave him a small smile and half wondered when he grew up so much. In her mind she always had him as her little ickle. That’s how he would stay, she have imagined being old and gray still calling him her ickle. Giving him her best smile, “Alec I’m fine.”
Wow how many times had she said those words to him the last four months. It seemed he was always asking if she was okay and she knew she had put him through all her emotions lately. Putting her arms around him in a hug she hugged tightly, “Thank you for everything you have done for me. You are the greatest little brother anyone could ever ask for.” No he wasn’t her real little brother, but he fit the spot so well. Leaning in she kissed his cheek, “I love you little bro.” She hoped Ella wouldn’t get to mad with her kissing him, but honestly it was a little brother kiss she’d have to deal or Min could give her a kiss on the cheek too if she felt left out or something.

As Minerva was talking to Alec she felt arms go around her. Turning she gave a smile to the little badger who had come and hugged her. “Why hello there” She gave him a gentle hug back. “Thanks” for the hug, but he knew that part she figured. “Are you glad term is over? Not going to be a first year anymore.” Nope he was a second year the minute he walked through those doors. She looked at the door for a moment she wouldn’t be any years once she walked through there. The thought still boggling her she turned her eyes back on Adi, “What’s your plans for the summer?” Why not see what exciting things everyone had to do.

As she talked to those around her she couldn’t help but look up as someone came to stand near her. Kitty had been there for her the last two years more than she could have ever asked, especially the last four months. She really knew who her best friends were and they were the most amazing people she could have ever hoped for. Giving the best smile she could, “We did didn’t we.” They had made it they were done whether that was good or bad she wasn’t able to figure out right now. Wrapping her arms around him she hugged him tightly. “Thank you for everything you’ve done. I couldn’t have made it through this term especially through the past few months without you.” She leaned up giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. Yes he was getting a kiss as well. These two boys were family to her, plus with all the rumors that had gone on this term about the two of them, let the students have something else to talk about she didn’t care. This kitty and mouse duo were just friends and they knew that if others wanted to think differently well just let them think.
SPOILER!!: Ella
Minerva looked up just to hear Ella, “Hey” She gave the captain a smile and a wave, “It’s always a great day to be a badger, especially with such an amazing group of badgers like you all.” chucking up on the last part her blue eyes focused to the table for a second, “Ready to go home?” She figured the blonde probably was, most people were, herself included for some parts. “Hey you know if you ever need anything just owl, alrigh?” She knew they had their ups and downs this term, but she still considered Ella a very close friend and always would.
SPOILER!!: Nash and Kace
Nashville moved walked along the table some more, he really didn't know where to sit but he knew that it would have to be near Capt. Ellaphant so he did know where he wanted to sit, Nashville stumbled upon Minnie and Alec. Tears started to build up in his brown eyes. No, he wasn't going to blubber in front of everyone, he was a man and men don't cry! But what the heck! Nashville wrapped his arms around Alec and cried into the sixth year. "Don't leave me!" he choked up.

All of the sudden there was a Nash and a Nash was clinging to Alec and a Nash was crying. This made the prefect bite her lip and sniffle a bit. “Nash it’s alright.. It’s not Alec that’s really leaving.” Don’t leave me, well Alec wasn’t leaving Nash was. “But you can see him again we all can see each other.” Was she even supposed to be hearing any of this. He seemed to have turned to Alec, maybe she should just let the bro blubbering hug continue and she would just scoot away.. yeah maybe she should do that.
Min turned, because there was no reason to make him feel uncomfortable for crying to see Kace sitting across from them. "Hey Kace, how are you?" Giving him the best smile she could. "Ready to go home? Any big plans?" Let's get the focus off of all the tears, they needed to get this place happening, they had one all three cups this term. She decided right there it was time to stop the tears, if she really could.
His eyes wandered over towards Laura, who was speaking to him. Was he okay? "Yeah... yeah, I'm okay. How are you?" ... Pause. "And... erm... had a good year?" Since they hadn't talked much these past nine months.
Laura smiled at Alec. "I've been good, just very busy with a few things." Laura had missed talking to her friends next term, she was going to continue studying though. "I had a great year, I learned some cool stuff and I learned a lot from the Librarian." Laura had been helping him out sometimes and she thought he was awesome. "So got any plans this summer?"

Laura turned to Minnie as she spoke, why was this so hard she seriously did want her friend to leave but at least that she still had the school and she wasn't going to let go of it, she seriously was glad she still had a few more years yet.

Laura listened to Minnie, had it really been six year since she had come to school. she counted on her fingers all the years, well it would make sense that she was just a year younger than Minnie but seriously were had the time gone. "I'm not ready to be a big Seventh year." Laura pouted seriously were had the years gone. "I can't believe I'm going to be Seventh year next term." Laura was only a year away from leaving and that wasn't fair though it would have been better if Minnie was in her year.
"Oh I'm going to spend some time at home with the family." Laura smiled, she would arrange to visit Minnie some time this summer. "Oh and of course I'm going to spend some time with DJ." Laura blushed a little, she had totally missed him.

Wade looked up as Ella came right over, "Hey Ells," He smiled just as softly back at her as she sat down. "It really is.. job well done everyone." That one was towards everyone too. They had been through it all together to help win the Cups. Turning back to Ella, he continued smiling, "So, any plans for the summer?"
Wade chuckled a little as Alec ruffled his hair, that would never get old, as he ruffled his hair back. "I'm alright, mate. Thanks." As for the year? "Yeah, it was awesome as ever.." At least he wouldn't be saying goodbye to Alec. Not ever. "You excited to go board hunting next week?"
Then another familiar voice sounded, and Nash was right there. He grinned, while one of his brows rose at the new nickname. "Hey Nash.." He saw as he clinged onto Alec, which made him grin wider. He moved his arm around to join in the badger clinging. What was new with Absie, he asked? "Nothing really.. you guys are the best." No thunder sounded, but Wade had a feeling a rainstorm was on the way.
He didn't have to say much, as he smiled hearing Min. They could be here all day thanking each other, not that he minded, so long as it delayed them leaving Hogwarts. He hugged her just as tight before getting her kiss. He only blinked, but not of surprise. They had gotten so close that they were practically family now, "No problem, Mousie." He then kissed her cheek just as quickly back. "You're the best, thanks."Wade and Min knew just who their hearts belonged to, and they didn't care if the school thought otherwise. "So.. is everything all set for you and Ethan?" In case her summer plans had changed or not.
He didn't forget Kace, who had then appeared, "Hey there, Kace." Why not, he pulled him into the badger cling. "Ready for the summer?"

This was...much harder than she thought it was going to be and it was probably written all over her face. She'd never quite learned how to do the hiding your emotions thing right and now was no different. The smile was still firmly fixed, though. That was something to be proud of.
"Hey roomie," Ella said softly as she focused her attention on Laura. "All packed and ready for summer?" Hopefully she hadn't left anything too important on the floor of their dorm because Ella had gone a bit crazy with cleaning earlier. At least they'd leave the room looking nice for the incoming sixth years. ...Because they were going to be seventh years next term. Merlin.
She was right about badgers being amazing, Min was. They were family and selfishly Ella was glad that she wasn't the one having to leave them behind right now. "I'm looking forward to it, yeah." She just needed to get through this first, yeah? "You must be looking forward to seeing Ethan."They were starting their life together so Ella supposed that for Min, this was more of a beginning than an ending of something. As for the offer to owl the older badger, Ella nodded. "I know...and thanks, Minnie. Same goes for you, okay?"
Boyfriend clearly wasn't buying the smile and Ella dropped it, biting her lip instead. He really did know her well, Alec did. "I'm...okay," She said quietly, reaching across the table to take his hand. She squeezed it gently before asking, "Are you okay?" And hugs would be brilliant but Ella figured Min and Wade deserved them more right now. She'd settle for holding his hand, though. That was helping too.
Captain Ellaphant? Ella perked up a bit at this and turned towards the direction of the shouting. A smile tugged at the corners of her lips when she saw Nash headed her way. "Yup, you found me." And this hugging thing was nice. Ella hugged him back just as tightly and whispered, "If you start blubbering, I'll blubber too. We can be seals together." And wouldn't you know it, there were such things as elephant seals so it totally worked.
Then Nash was up and embracing the boyfriend and Min so Ella turned her attention to Curly, trying not to give in to the sad feels. "We've got a brilliant house," She mused, looking around at the others before her eyes settled on the head boy. "It's not going to be the same without you guys, though." Truth, that was. As for plans, Ella didn't have too many. The most exciting was probably the possibility of working in Diagon Alley. "Summer? I um...applied for an internship, actually. What about you?"
And more people were settling in now. Ella gave smiles and waves accordingly, trying her best to be happy about the feast. She casually just avoided looking at the seventh years making their way to the memory book cause that was just...nope. She wasn't going to acknowledge that.
Food...would be a good distraction too. Were they going to eat soon?
Brodie kept the weak smile there and nodded, "Well... obviously can't relate to that but I know it feels like yesterday I walked through these halls the first time." He glanced around and actually got a little teary eyed. Unlike most, Brodie wasn't afraid of crying in front of others but he fought it back, "I..." He gave a small laugh, "I find it ironic but after all my griping about wanting to leave... I want nothing more than to stay here. Just repeat the year again if I could and focus more on the good things, not moping about Taylor, spent more time making friends and not been such an idiot." He shrugged, "But it's hit quite a few times and I dread leaving now... The pass two years this school has been home. It'll feel odd not coming back." He sighed and looked around, "But... I did want to tell you I'm sorry... I was rude and just... thank you." That came out odd but he didn't really know what to say to anyone at the moment.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Wade was next to show up. Another graduating student. Adi was starting to feel sad now, the cheerfulness he had came with was slowly evaporating. Why did two of the best Hufflepuffs had to be leaving? One term wasn't enough for him. "Hey, Mr. Head Boy! What's up?'' the first year greeted. He was going to try to hang on to some cheerfulness.
And there was Captain Ella & Mari! "Hey, guys!'' He looked around. Where was Kace? See, Adi was still curious about his best friend and Mari spending sooo much time lately.
Of course he was okay! A little banged up elbow was not enough to stop him. "I'm good, thanks, Super Seeker. You?'' He grinned at the older boy whom he had gotten closer to. Plus he was grateful for the older boy's patience when he was having a difficult time excelling at the Shield Charm. "I sure am! Though I'll miss you all. What are your plans?''
And there was his best friend. "Kace!'' Adi bounded over. "What's up?''
Adi didn't release his hold on Min. She wasn't going. Nope. She was going to stay. She was going to be back here next year. So, in response to her thanks, he just squished her a little. "Yes and no,'' he said slowly. There was lots of truth in that answer now that he thought it over. "Yes because I'm glad to go home but no because it's the last time you'll be here.'' No one told him he'd get so sad when the older ones graduate. He was not prepared for all of this! And next year it was Ella's and Alec's turn Shaking those thoughts away, the firstie answer the next question. "I haven't planned anything. I suppose I'll just take it as it comes. What about you, Min? Are you going to University?''

Wow! Dylan couldn't believe his first year at Hogwarts was already at an end. It was insane. It felt as if yesterday had been his first day here...and he still didn't know his way around the castle completely. Oh, boy. As he entered the Great Hall, he began to recall the awesome people he had met this term and the fun memories he had made. Like becoming friends with Adi and teaching him the guitar! Or his new best friend Blair, who ate ice cream with him all day not too long ago. Or getting help from the nice older Puffer girl Ella in the corridor a while back. All the memories he would keep forever. He had met such great people, he loved everyone here. He made his way to the Hufflepuff table, his robes brushing along the ground behind him. Smiling, he took a seat next to his new friend, Adi. "Hiya, Adi!" he said. The first year took a look around the table at his fellow badgers and gave each one of them a wave. "Hello, everyone!" he chirped.
*Taking a seat Away from his other house mates and students Romulus filled his plate but didn't eat. He would be alone again this summer. Well not completely alone. With his parents and older brother away Romulus would be spending the summer with his very old grandparents. Granmum Tillsorm was always cooking or making some kind of craft thing. Both done the muggle way. It fascinated her to do those things without magic. While she did that grandfather Tillstorm would go on and on about past magical wars and battles he was or was not in. Rom was going to go mad by the end if this summer. He had hoped he could talk his brother or one of his cousins into letting him stay with them but that wasn't going to happen. Wishing he could spend his summer in the school library he pushed his food around lost in thought.*
Wow. It had been a WHOLE year already. Olly had survived a whole term at Hogwarts and....to be honest, survived wouldn't even be the word she'd have chosen. It had been...fun? Interesting? At least it had been A LOT better than she'd have expected it to be. And honestly, she was just a little bummed to be going home for the summer. A little.
Though the people she'd be missing the most she would probably be seeing them over the summer.
Schuyler for sure.
Speaking of, Olly paused at her own table for a moment to look over to the Gryffindor table. Hmm. Schuyler hadn't arrived yet it seemed. Which was just as well. Just checking. So she simply took a seat at the Hufflepuff table, not really looking where or who she was sitting next to. Now, food, would it start soon? Or was there going to a speech first like at the start of the term? She could of course ask some of the other students but no, that required speaking to people.

Riiiight...... for the first time Sophie entered the Great Hall for the End of Term Feast not so hyper and excited. Well, maybe she was quite excited, since they had won all three Cups again, but it was different that year. It was only at the end of the term that the sixth year realised how distant from her friends she had been all year and that she had missed loads of opportunities to just hang out with them because she was too busy reading about Charms and practising to even do anything else. That was a pretty bad feeling and Sophie did not appreciate it one bit...
So with an odd expression on her face, the brunette made her way to the Feast and looked at the Hufflepuff table only to see moping people all around. Eh... that wasn't going to help... Sophie swallowed hard and walked up to sit near her closest friends. She walked past Marigold and smiled at her younger friend. It had been a while since they had last spoken! And Sophie felt guilty again. "Hey there, how are you?" She greeted the second year while taking a seat nearby. Sophie did wave at her best friends, obviously, and acknowledged a couple more people she knew with a forced smile. Merlin, SO MUCH to catch up on! And she didn't have much time any more, did she? Sigh.
She looked around and noticed a girl she had never spoken to before (Olly)."Hello! I'm Sophie!" Just that simple introduction made the seventeen year-old feel warmer inside. She had said those words over and over again at the Hufflepuff table, and just saying them again at that moment actually cheered her up a little.
Hogwarts was truly a lovely place!

Min couldn’t help but laugh, “Well Laura I don’t think you have a choice, you are going to be whether you like it or not. Plus you are going to rock seventh year. Those professors are going to notice what an amazing witch you are, but remember it’s your turn to start looking after the younger badgers. Make sure they are doing alright. Promise me that.” Not that they didn’t have others, but she remembered someone older than her giving her that advice and she hoped she lived up to it. It was now time to pass the torch to another.
Well she was happy the younger badger was happy to be going home and to spend time with family. This was a good thing since previous years she didn’t want to go home at all. ”Well I hope you have a great summer with them.” Laughing a bit as she talked about Dj, “Of course you will, tell him I said hello alright?” She hadn’t talked to the boy in a very long time, but figured he was doing well since Laura seemed happy.
SPOILER!!: Wade
He didn't have to say much, as he smiled hearing Min. They could be here all day thanking each other, not that he minded, so long as it delayed them leaving Hogwarts. He hugged her just as tight before getting her kiss. He only blinked, but not of surprise. They had gotten so close that they were practically family now, "No problem, Mousie." "So.. is everything all set for you and Ethan?" In case her summer plans had changed or not.
She smiled up at him as he spoke and chuckled a bit at the kiss. “People are going to talk.. again.” She laughed and hugged her friend one more time. “I don’t know about best, but you’ve put up with me pretty well. You did a great job as head boy.” She was a proud mouse, her best friend rocked the badge. Looking around, “I still can’t believe this is it though.” but it really was and well she would get used to it. She bit her lip a bit thinking of Ethan. The excitement and fears all jumping around again. “Umm.. yeah I think so. I’ll know more once home, but I’ll owl you and stuff. Plus you and Indy are coming to visit like all the time, right? Dinner at my place soon.” Of course those two would be over a lot or well she hoped they will. “Keep me updated on your dad and the babies. I’d love to talk to him again about my mom one day.” She wanted to hear more if he didn’t mind.
SPOILER!!: Ella
She was right about badgers being amazing, Min was. They were family and selfishly Ella was glad that she wasn't the one having to leave them behind right now. "I'm looking forward to it, yeah." She just needed to get through this first, yeah? As for the offer to owl the older badger, Ella nodded. "I know...and thanks, Minnie. Same goes for you, okay?"
Minerva was glad the sixth year or well seventh year was happy to be going home. “That’s nice, any big plans?” She always enjoyed hearing what others were going to do with their summer. She honestly wasn’t even sure other than one major thing what she would be doing. She assumed just working and getting things accomplished as the summer went on. No time to really do much else. Her smile grew, “Yes, I can’t wait.” She was getting more and more anxious to see him the closer time got to leaving. It had been since Easter and that was just too long. Giving the blonde a nod, “I know Ella, thank you.” She knew they would still talk after this, but she just hoped it wouldn’t stay awkward like it had been the last few months.
SPOILER!!: Brodie

Min listened to Brodie and gave a small smile, “Yeah, but I don’t’ think it matters how much time you spend here. This place gets to you.” She never thought she’d be so attached to a place before. She had moved around so much as a child with her dad in the military and then being bounced from cousins to her grandparents. This was the only stable place she had ever lived in for so long. It was just odd thinking about never coming back. She listened more chuckling, her I told you at the ready, but then.. then he did something that made her swallow hard as tears started to form, “It’s fine.. really, I’m just glad you finally saw the light and started enjoying instead of fighting what could be and holding on to anger.” She hugged him. Yes everyone Minerva Wheatborn hugged Brodie Livingston. She gave him a hug and then smiled, “No need to thank me. One of my goals this term was to try and help one person. I’m glad I got that chance.” That actually made her night, she hoped he knew that.
SPOILER!!: Adi
di didn't release his hold on Min.
Minerva smiled as he hugged her again and eyed him curiously with his yes/no answer. Her smile grew as he explained. “You see that’s the trouble with being a first year. You will have an end of the term feast six times before it’s your turn and that’s six times you will see people you really don’t want to go, go. That doesn’t mean you’ll never see them again though. You can always owl me.” She was always open for owls and would try to stay in contact with anyone who wanted her too. When he asked about her own summer plans she thought for a moment, “Well I’ll be working and just enjoying some summer events.” Was that the best way to explain what her summer was going to be like. Probably not, but the first year wouldn’t really understand. Oh that question again she sighed trying to think of the best answer, “Well I will, just not in the fall. I’m taking some time off to deal with some family things. After that I plan on going to be a healer.” Did that make sense, well she hoped it did.
