Gwen was making her way back to the Common Room, and casually walked around the first floor corridor in order to get to the staircase. On her way, she found herself passing by the portraits. Erm. Yes the portraits... For some reason, the discussions she had with the painted people were erm... odd? That was probably the right word. Odd.

She remembered the time when she had been here for the first time. First year at Hogwarts. When she got lost around the corridor and the portraits were giving her directions, which turned out to be useless. Erm. But that wasn’t nearly as bad as what happened a couple of years ago. When she had been here with Lex and the other Ravenclaw... and one of the painted people accused them of stealing some snake from one of the portraits.

Ehhh.

Gwen just shook her head a bit at that thought. Memories. So anyway, she made her way along the corridor, heading to the place with the portraits. ‘Hellooo’, she greeted them, smirking.

Jory had been wandering the castle wondering where to begin his Astronomy homework. He had collected it earlier from the wodden cabinet outside of Professor Flamsteed's office earlier that day but now he had actually gotten time to get started.

He was on the first floor, flexing his arms and pretending he was sword fighting with it. But he kept and eye out for anyone. Wouldn't want to injure anyone. Jory began humming to himself as he randomly headed for The Portraits. He remembered the had once talked to some during a Divination class. What fun that was.

"I wonder if any of them are here,'' he thought. "Ohh looky! Someone's there as well!'' Maybe they were doing Astronomy homework too? He approached the person. "Hello, there,'' the badger said not looking at the person. He had work to complete after all. "Don't let me disturb you.''

The badger whipped out his wand and that's when he happened to glance at the person standing there. It was Gwen. "Gwen!'' he exclaimed. She bust be thinking he was rude! "Sooooooo sorry! I didn't really pay attention to who it was. How are ya? I'm goood! It's a brilliant day isn't it?'' He grinned a big goofy grin. It was a good day to be happy!

"Excuse me while I clean this place a bit.'' It was dusty but not as much as was the chaos in the Hufflepuff boys dorm and Common Room. He seriously hoped the Portraits won't mind the noise. They would have a cleaner surrounding after all.

''Vacavus!'' Jory said tapping the vacuum. As it started up, he began to hum again. He really didn't mind manual cleaning. Nope! He was muggleborn and that had it's advantages.

The seventh year aimed the cleaner at the wall first. WHIIIIR WHIIIIR WHIIIIIIRRR! it went eating all the dirt just like a black hole would. He passed it around the Portrait's edges and even over the Portraits themselves. He really tried not to disturb the occupants. About five minutes or so, Jory stopped the cleaner and turned back to Gwen.

"Soooooo, Gweny,'' he said, setting down the cleaner on the ground. "How's life?''

Jake's idea to come to the portraits seemed like a great one, to him. He knew they were old and not a very popular place to spend time, and so he figured they would be dusty.

He was smart, Jake was.

Getting his vacuum situated, he looked over the portraits. Then, figuring one was as good to start at as another, he aimed the hose at the frame and, tapping it with his wand, murmured, "Vacavus." He smiled to himself as the dust started up the hose as he dragged it along the frame of one portrait then another. "Hello," he said to the occupants as he did so. "Sorry to bother you. Just doing homework."

Hmmm.

No reply from any of the people from the portraits yet? Odd. Gwen was about to say something when she heard some footsteps. Drawing her attention from the portraits, the seventh year spotted… JORY!

GRIN.

She just stood there, with her arms crossed, wondering WHEN the Hufflepuff would actually notice her. It was so funny seeing Jory’s reactions right now. It was payback time for last year. When she had been at the library and took no less than five minutes to notice that someone (Jory, in this case) had taken a seat at the same table where she was sitting. Heh. But now the Hufflepuff seemed to be taking some time to notice her.

‘Hi!’, she finally said, after hearing the Hufflepuff call her name. ‘It’s alright’, she chuckled. See? See how hard it is to take notice of someone when you are concentrated? ‘I’m----‘, she started saying, but didn’t get to finish, because Jory went on talking. Good. Brilliant day.

Jory was like a hyperactive firstie.

That made Gwen smile. Hehe. Jory was being funny. But… what was he saying? He was excusing himself… No need to do that. ‘The place can really use some cleaning’, she commented, eyeing the frames of the portraits. She was thinking of going to get a vacuum cleaner and continue her Astronomy Homework. Then again, it was Jory’s idea to come and clean this place. And Gwen wasn’t going to steal his idea.

She was still smiling (because let’s face it, she was obviously happy to see Jory) until… she heard him say something. Gweny. That nickname. A nickname no one had used until earlier that day. She immediately thought about the person she had talked to at the library. Zeke. And now she was just confused. Ughh. Which made her nearly miss Jory’s question.

She drew her attention back to her friend. ‘Great! Despite all the changes at Hogwarts, I’m really glad to be back’ Mhm. She was. ‘How about you?’ Well, maybe there was no need to ask that question, since Jory seemed to be really happy. Heh.

After the little talk Nashville had with Mika and Minnie he just had to clear his head. They wanted him to break up with Christmas because everything just went so face between the two of them but he DIDN'T want to break up with her and he WASN'T going to break up with her. He wanted to make this craziness work and he will do anything that he can to keep being with her but he didn't know how. Maybe a date? Maybe just something. Nashville would have to think about that for some time and then when the time comes he would do what he would plan to do. But if she wanted to break up with him then that was a different story and he would just have to deal with it because no one every wanted to talk, date or ever think about Nashville Cash, that's how it always was and he knew that is how it always would be. Nashville sighed and looked at the paintings on the wall. They were so cool, they never had much of this at Durmstrang. It really wasn't all that cheery at Durmstrang either but it was nice just the castle was soooo much smaller that Hogwarts. He would just have to get used to that.

Christmas was wandering along the portraits when she saw her boyfriend and said "Hey Nashville, you look a bit preoccupiedis it about how quickly we started dating and maybe we should have a date the first hogsmeade weekend and we can get to know each other better and well i have been busy trying out for the gryffindor team and we still need to race each other"

Nashville glanced up from the portraits. It was Christmas. He sighed. So he had to talk to her and it didn't mind talking to her but he was just so damn hyper that he would just start say the most random things in the world. Tryouts were understandable because he to was at tryouts for the last week or two and now they were finally over and he was now just waiting to find out if he got on the team then that would be the greatest thing every. Pie and Quidditch. Every time Hufflepuff wins he wold make a new pie. That sounded like a really good plan. Nashville grinned at Christmas. Nashville let out a deep breath slowly. "I was just thinking about that!" Nashville said in a VERY excited voice. Their first date and how it was going to happen and when they were going to get to know each other and then he just blurted this out. "I was also thinking that maybe we shouldn't be dating because normally a first date show happen before someone starts dating and normally a date happens once the two people know each other really well and I'm just not feeling this relationship and I know that you have been busy with tryout and I have been too but...yeah..." Nashville scrunched his nose. "Yes. I am breaking up with you." He blinked, his heart was racing a mile a minute and he really hoped that it would stop at some point but not like stop as him being dead. How was Christmas going to take this news? Was she going to cry or hit him or kick him or what?

Christmas blinked and said "Well if you want to break up that is fine but why i know we haven't known each other long but really i want to get know you better and well i know that things have been a bit hectic with tryouts but i was really hoping that we would have got to spend a lot of time together but i suppose if you want to break up then i just have to accept it" Christmas was upset because she had already made so many plans for the Hogsmeade trip but know she was lost and she didn't like where it was going she was upset and she felt like she was going to cry but she would have to stay strong but she did have feelings for Nashville but if he wanted to break up then it was fine but Christmas was falling apart

Today was a wonderful day to be up and about around the castle. Granted, she still had tonnes of homework to do but see, THAT was why she was busily humming away as she made her way from portrait to portrait scribbling silly expressions on them. "There you go, trust me, this marker's doing you justice." BEAM.

She continued humming along, skipping down the corridor and scribbling more and more. They were already dusty, this wouldn't really affect them now would it? "Do try to keep up Felix, we need to fix them all up, they need to look their best." She said to the feline trailing behind her.

Finally she came to the last portrait in that corridor and gave it a wicked grin. "I haven't forgotten about you." Definitely not. Scribble scribble scribble. This one even got a bow tie! Wonderful!! BEEEAM. Lex stepped back to admire her hard work before bending over and handing the marker to her kneazle. "Be a good sport and put this somewhere far away, okay, lovely?" Felix took the marker and was off.

She knew she liked him.

“No, you can’t walk Little princess", said Sonea while she tried to prevent her rat to jump from her shoulder. “Until I know what is wrong with you I will not let you walk too much” Sonea wondered what professor Barlow would do when she saw Little princess. She wanted to know as soon as possible what was wrong with her little friend, but she was also afraid for the answer, she hoped that Little princess wasn’t really sick…

Just when Sonea had ordered her pink rat to sit still on her shoulder she noted all the portraits all around her, they were covered with dust and she wondered when they had been cleaned for the last time. Sonea stopped before one portrait who looked a little silly, the person on the portrait looked REALLY old and had a big nose, Sonea would have called him ugly if she didn’t had heard somebody speaking a few meters away from her.

The young girl looked around her and saw that she was not alone, a girl was walking before her and she had a feline with her. Sonea looked immediately worried at Little princess who still sat on her shoulder and hissed quickly to her little friend, “Stay with me!” Little princess blinked with her eyes as if she wanted to say, “okay” and pressed her little body closer against Sonea.

“Hi, what are you doing here?” Asked Sonea when she walked closer to the girl.

Lex took another look at the portraits before turning to face the voice that had joined her in the corridor. The first thing she noticed was the rat...the girl was noticed afterwards. Good thing she'd sent Felix away, otherwise this wouldn't have turned out well.

"Hello there!" Lex said, offering the girl a wide grin. "Me? I'm just walking...walking and enjoying the portraits. How's about you? What are you doing here?" Just a curious question.

It didn't seem like the younger girl had seen much; she could live with that. Plus, she wouldn't have to obliviate her. Good good.

"And I remember seeing you, last year when the trophies went missing. Don't think I caught your name though. You have one right?" Everyone had a name...unless she deemed them unimportant then that was made debatable.

Sonea smiled while she looked around her, she had saw a cat when she first had looked at the girl, but now the cat was nowhere to be seen! Relieved that Little princess was safe she spoke softly to her rat, “It’s okay.” Sonea knew that there were a lot cats at Hogwarts, and that was the reason why Sonea didn’t liked it that Little princess would walk freely.

“Oh, I was done with my homework for today so I wanted to walk a little and explore Hogwarts, I still haven’t seen everything from the castle. But now that I’m walking here I see that I haven’t missed anything, all the portraits are covered with dust and they are really old…” The young girl looked at the portrait next her and wondered how old they really were.

“I hate dust and dirt, so when the house elves are back they really need to work here first” said Sonea disapprovingly and wondered worried if there were spiders behind the portraits…

The young girl looked surprised at the older girl and tried to remember if she had seen the other girl before. “Oh, have we met when the trophies were lost? I don’t remember you, sorry” said Sonea slowly while she tried to do her best with remembering where she had seen the girl before.

“Yes, I have a name, and I suppose that you have one to?” grinned Sonea while she offered the older girl her hand, “Hi, I’m Sonea Duvessa”.

At first Lex thought the statement might have been directed at her and she was set to ask what was okay but then she realized it was the rat to whom the girl was speaking. Lex made a face at it. "What a horrid colour." She muttered more to herself than to her company before directly looking to the girl. "Was it born that way or did a spell go terribly wrong?" Either way, it was a pity, a real one too.

So that was it. "Oh, well there's more to the castle than simply the portraits. There's tons more to see and besides, they can't help that they're dusty." And that they were now covered in sharpie maker. Heh. So far they were being quite lovely about it as well.

Lex frowned a bit. "Yeah, the house elves. They used to do a lot, now poor Toddles is left doing everything." He was only a baby, he couldn't have been expected to keep every inch of the castle clean. "I hope they get back soon, Felix hates the dust too and I don't want him getting sick." He was especially miserable when he was sick.

And there was that question. She shook her head. "We haven't; not formally. You were standing with the other snakes and you were accusing most everyone else of taking the trophies." She remembered, yup, she did. "Other than that, I've only seen you perhaps in a class or randomly walking by." Something along those lines.

Lex giggled. "Mhm, I've got a name too!" She said after the girl had introduced herself. "Alexa Cambridge." And she stuck her hand out to shake.

“I’m sorry, did you said something?” Asked Sonea while she heard how the girl mumbled something, but it was too soft for Sonea to hear it. But the girl looked at Little princess, so Sonea had a suspicion that she was talking about her rat, she probably liked her and her rat and the color from Little princess! Sonea smiled even wider when she thought that the girl would make a compliment about Little princess, but…

“No, Little princess is not born like this, she was brown when I first saw her, but I knew immediately that she would be pretty when she had become pink! And nothing has gone wrong, my maid has done it perfectly and Little princess is now the best and prettiest pet at Hogwarts!” The young girl pouted and folded her arms.

The young girl was still annoyed now that the other girl didn’t liked Little princess and looked quickly at her rat who still sat on her shoulder, “don’t listen to her, she doesn’t know you, you are really pretty” said Sonea softly to her rat and looked again at the girl when she spoke. “I know, but I always get lost when I’m trying to look around in the castle…” The young girl remembered all the times she had been lost in the castle, she had been searching for the common room for one whole hour! “I know that they can’t help it, but I still don’t like it! I’m thinking to come back when I have time to clean something, I have learned a few good spells I can use…” Sonea looked again at the dust and she realized that she hated dirt more than cleaning, so why not?

Toddles… she remembered that name, she had seen the house elf in her common room at the start of the school year. “I don’t worry about the elves, as long as they are coming back to Hogwarts, and I’m sure that the house elf, Toddles, can handle it now that all the students are cleaning their own common rooms…” Sonea had really no idea how much work the house elves were doing!

“Is Felix you cat?” Asked Sonea while she looked again around her, checking if the cat was still not here to kill Little princess. “That’s a nice name” said Sonea nodding.

“Oh, you’re right, I have seen a lot students there!” Sonea now remembered where she could have seen the other girl and nodded again. “Yeah, I really thought that they were stolen” The young girl shrugged while she thought back at the trophies.

“Hi Alexa”said Sonea and shook Alaxa’s hand.

Jory wondered why the Portraits had not chastised him as yet for disturbing their peace. But he figured they were probably grateful for the cleaning. A thank you would be alright. But he didn't mind. He was in a good mood.

After finishing up with all his vacuuming, he shut off the cleaner and turned his attention back to Gwen. Something was different. She was smiling. A lot. "Er... how come you're smiling so much?'' No that she didn't smile. But she didn't. Not that much. The seventh year remember when he first met her. She had been sketching at the time and he had actually thought she was being rude to him. He had even decided to avoid her if he could but thing went differently.

"I'm glad to be back too,'' Jory replied, with much enthusiasm. "The Castle looks horrible, doesn't it?'' That's why he didn't mind going around and using his vacuum to clean random places. Then he realised Gwen's smile had faltered when he called her Gweny. "Why so glum, chum?'' he asked jokingly. "Don't you like the name Gweny?'' He liked calling people nicknames.

Jory paused for a moment. His stomach was making small rumbling sounds. He was hungry. "I'm hungry. Are you hungry? I want ice cream!'' Yes! Lotttttts of ice cream!

Turns out there was very few yellow features in the whole Castle. Outside of the Common Room, that is. So, obviously, she made a tactical decision by going to the place elves wouldn't have bothered to clean before actually leaving. The Trophy Room.

However, as Lottie made her way up there with 'Darkness, the black vacuum of doom', her eyes took turns between portraits. She had been wondering about that Dorian Gray business, but she'd come to the conclusion that there was no way she could figure it out, because there were too many portraits at Hogwarts and she'd have to keep an eye on them for a very long period of time to make sure ONE of them was changing.

See? Very exhausting and pointless research.

The girl did notice something. DUST. All over them.

Since her mood had increased considerably, then she'll do them a favor, okay? That's when darkness came around, and her wand, too. "Vacavus," she said, while tapping the vacuum and directing it to all the dusty portraits she could reach, and the spaces between them that seemed too dirty as well.

Whoa. Some portraits even looked different in color once perfectly cleaned. She probably would've used another spell on them, but since we have the vacuum...and need the practice...well, it was obvious.

She kept going after a while. Off to the Trophy Room, yeah?

Well… she was smiling a lot. Which was completely unusual for Gwen. Gwen, the person who you much rather would see rolling her eyes than actually smiling. Heh. So what was the reason why she was smiling a lot?

Hmm. Was it because:

A. she was simply in a good mood
B. she was happy to see Jory again
C. of everything that happened earlier that day at the lake
D. all of the above?

Yes, the last option was probably the best. Heh. ‘I’m just happy’, she said, realizing that she hadn’t actually given an answer to the Hufflepuff. Until now, that is.

‘It does’, she mused, after hearing Jory say something about the castle looking awful. ‘Any idea what happened?’ Just asking. Gwendolyn drew her attention to the portraits for a moment. Did they know anything?

Hmm. Maybe it wasn’t that obvious that her mood suddenly changed as Jory mentioned that nickname. Wrong. The Hufflepuff noticed. ‘Umm… it’s fine’ Yeah. Gweny was fine. ‘BetterthanIcePrincessanyway’, she mumbled under her breath. Well, yeah. She could see from where she got that nickname, being so cold and rude and blah blah blah. But still.

Just when she was about to distract herself from thinking about that certain Gryffindor, Gwen heard Jory say something else. Ice cream. First the nickname, now this?! Hmm. Maybe Jory knew something. Resisting the urge of narrowing her eyes suspiciously as she looked back at the Hufflepuff, Gwen just shook her head a bit. ‘Not really’ No, she wasn’t hungry. Hmm. Ice cream. She didn’t have ice cream. However- ‘How about a chocolate frog?’, she said, taking a couple of chocolate frogs from her bag. Hmm?

Glittering GREEN vacuum in hand, Dylan was off to complete his Astronomy homework. He figured he'd start at the bottom and work his way up...so that when he finally finished with the chore, he could just drop off his report. Easy peasy. Just like that. The Slytherin felt rather proud of these ideas of his. There well, in all actuality, brilliant.

Slytherin brilliance. Everyone needed to get some.

Figuring everyone had thought of the more central places, he started with the First floor corridor...right in front of the Portraits. It was another thing of brilliance, too...because if no one believed he'd cleaned...they could tell the Professor as much. All the portraits in Hogwarts talked, right? Dylan didn't know...

Brandishing the nozzle of his vacuum, the Slytherin Captain tapped the vacuum with his wand. "Vacavus!"...And then he got to work, starting in the creases where wall met floor. His mother had always said it was important to get....around baseboards? That's what she'd called them...So, he was following her advise.

After finishing with those, he moved the hose and turned the suction on the floor itself, tapping his vacuum again. "Vacavus!" Moving it over the floor, Dylan was hoping to get any excess dirt or whatever else got tracked into the castle. It was hard to tell....since so many of his peers came and went. There was probably even some animal dung stuck around here.

ZOOOOOOOOOOOOM ZOOM ZOOM ZOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Deciding it couldn't hurt, Dylan pulled it wand and tapped at the walls, whispering "Scourgify." He was already down here. Might as well just do a full service job...

...but he kept that vacuum going..."Vacavus!"

ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

After about thirty minutes of the hardcore cleaning...he allowed his vacuum to finally die...and decided to move to another area of the castle.

Nashville just had to speak the truth and that was what he was going to do. "Why? Because the times that i have been talking to you, you just ignore what I have to say." Or at least it felt like that to him. "You also seem to like to talk about yourself and your life but I can't talk about me or mine. I just don't want to feel like I'm being ignored." Nashville sighed and looked at the portraits. This was just to hard for him to say to her but that's how he felt and he knew that if she was going to keep on making him feel this way then he had to get out and get out now because it wasn't good for him and his friends kept telling him that he deserved better than Christmas but he didn't think he did. "I understand that both of use have been busy with Quidditch and all that other stuff but still." Was he done? Yes. Nashville couldn't bare to say anything else to her. All of this happening was starting to make him mad because it just felt like she just started caring out of nowhere and he couldn't do the same back.

Jory looked at Gwen suspiciously. Something was different, he was very sure of it. "If she doesn't wanna tell me, I'm not gonna fuss about it,'' he decided. He was curious but anyway... more pressing thing occupied his mind. Like all the homework he had to get done. And then there was studying. He was sure he was going to have to stay up extra late tonight. He had to do the DADA homework plus do the write up for Divination.

"The House elves,'' the Puffer replied simply. Gwen should know what was going on in the castle, after all. He did wish the house elves were here. But most people in the castle seemed to be handling it well. They had even formed a Cleaning Club."Better than what?'' Jory asked, distracted by the other students not far from them. Even they were doing their Astronomy homework. Nothing like doing the homework almost close to the due date. He grinned to himself as he watched them.

He looked back at Gwen. She was now looking at him weird. What had he done? But he noticed the chocolate frogs. Hey,it wasn't ice cream but it was something. "Thanks,'' the seventh year said,taking two and unwrapping one. He bit off the frog's head. "I'll have a biiiiig dish of ice cream tonight,'' he decided.

"So, heard from Ari lately?'' Jory asked casually.

Lex blinked over at the girl. Had she said something? Yeah she had but it was hardly worth repeating now wasn't it? As it stood she didn't like repeating things too often, repetitive things were boring and annoyed her half the time so she simply shrugged at that question and continued watching the horrid coloured rat. Poor thing.

The next thing she said had Lex kinda wrinkling her nose and making a face. Merlin, the thing use to be normal and she ruined it. Now she especially felt bad for the poor little thing. It was a shame really. The only people she could see appreciated that rat were the Headmistress, Lottie and obviously this girl here. She thought to correct her on the whole prettiest pet thing but was interrupted by a sudden rubbing at her feet. Glancing down she saw the kneazle had returned without the marker she'd used to colour the portraits earlier. "Good boy! Extra treats for you later!" Lex said, swooping him into her arms. It didn't seem like he'd noticed the rat. Good.

Oh but now the girl was...reassuring the rat? Riiight..."I get lost too but usually on purpose because that way it's more fun and gives me something to do, plus I have Felix," she gestured to the kneazle now snuggle in her arms, "he's real good at directions."

"How can you not worry? They all left poor Toddles and now he's the saddest thing ever." He was just a baaaaaaby.

"And Felix isn't a cat, he's a kneazle." There was a difference and the kneazle was now offended. And NOW he noticed the rat. Lex gripped more firmly to him and muttered a quick 'behave' before shaking the girl's hand. Yeah, kneazle under control, all was good; in theory.

The young girl watched Lex when she talked about Little princess and had answered her question and she was NOT happy with what she saw! Lex seemed to… not like Little princess! Sonea had problems to believe it, Little princess was really cute AND she had a nice color. But, Sonea knew that not anybody liked pink as much as she did, but still, it was not a good thing that she seemed to not like Little princess! The young girl was also not sure if she liked the other girl now that she seemed to NOT like Little princess! But, until she had more proof of that she kept her doubts for herself.

With a sigh she looked again at the portrait next her and just when she did that she saw that the cat from the other girl returned! She looked immediately worried and tensed, she was not sure if the cat would hunt Little princess if he saw her, so Sonea already prepared herself to defend Little princess if it was needed! But when Sonea observed the cat she saw that… she carried a marker? That was strange… But, Sonea was NOT like Lex and gave her a compliment about her cat, even now that she DID not like it that her Little princess was in the presence from the cat! “She is cute, is she trained?” Sonea hoped that the cat was trained and that she would not hurt Little princess! But, she didn’t needed to worry, Lex took her cat in her arms and Sonea felt a little more relieved now.

“Why do you want to get lost on purpose? I can think of plenty other things to do instead of getting lost” said Sonea not understanding what was so funny about walking around in the castle and without knowing where you were… “Oh, so you cat is also smart?” smiled Sonea. “Little princess is helping me also when I’m lost, she can smell it when we are almost back to or common room.” Sonea smiled proudly when she talked about her rat and grinned.

She frowned when she listened to the other girl while she talked about the house elf Toddles and she was really NOT sorry for the elf, why would she? The elf was here to clean and to obey and nothing more, a elf was not supposed to walk freely, he was born to serve! “I don’t know… I suppose that knew what he need to do, he is a elf after all” Sonea frowned when she talked, she wondered why Lex was so worried about the elf, Toddles.

“A kneazle?” Sonea looked closer at the animal and suddenly knew that Lex was right, it was really a kneasle and not a cat! “Oh, sorry!” said Sonea quickly while she did worried a step backwards when the kneazle suddenly saw Little princess…

Tumplin approached the portraits with her head held high, hoping that would make her feel better about the repo job. Or at least, imply authority over any students or staff who try to stop her.

She stared at the first portrait she came to, tried to forget about the occupant, opened her carpet bag, and shoved the portrait inside.

One down...bunches to go.

Ella was out for a stroll. She had her wand in case she saw any dusting that needed to be done. She was actually getting into this whole cleaning thing around the school. It was her second home so it wasn't that weird that she'd pitch in to do some chores of sorts. Besides, she figured the portraits weren't particularly fond of being dirty and so she headed that way first.
