And exams where over, and Darwin was going home.

Which kinda sucked. Obviously not the exams being over part, but he had to go HOME. And home sucked because his older sister was going to be home from university too and she sucked. But he supposed it wasn't too bad. Oskar was going to shoot some film with him, and he's get to see his mum and his dad.

He sighed at the thought of his dad, but shook the thoughts away at once. He was getting better, and Darwin had to focus on that.

OR he could focus on the food cart. The sixteen year old (who acted six) made his way to the trolley and began to complement what he wanted to buy.

Was everything stupid?

On his way back from the Prefect's compartment, Ethan headed back towards the back of the train to sit with Minerva again. He decided to patrol the corridors for a few minutes as he walked, still keeping up with those prefect duties.. he was still a prefect for a few more hours, after all. And then he caught sight of the food trolley as he headed further down the corridor.

The boy slowed his steps, realizing with his growling stomach how hungry he actually was. Maybe he should get a few things to take back to his compartment to snack on since it would still be a little while till he would get home to a proper meal. His hand dug in his pocket, finding a handful of coins, and he got in line, thinking over his selections.

Harvey couldnt believe another year had passed by. Seeing the seventh years only reminded him that he had one more year to go before he too would have to leave, he would leave some of his friends as well as the professors and the adventures he'd had since he arrived here. That made him think of Mins, his best friend, he had known her for a long time and they jad been through alot. But he knew this was probably toughest on her. Harvey decided to relive some of his and Mins friendly hang outs being thankful for a friend like her and entered the Food Trolley. Thats when he saw the girls boyfriend and his friend, he was a good guy and was glad he and Mins had met after all the bad luck she'd had including himself. This was the one guy that was right for her ever since she arrived here. "Hey Ethan. What are you doing here?" Harvey asked Ethan out of surprise chuckling a little not expecting to see him here when his girl was probably waiting for him in a compartment somewhere. He thought Ethan would be hanging out with her even though they had the whole summer together "How you doing? Where is Mins?" he asked him to see if she was arriving here soon meaning Harvey had to run so they could have their private moment together.

Ethan counted out several sickles and knuts, then turned his eyes back to the selection of candy. Chocolate frogs were a given, but he thought he should get a couple more things for variety. Lemondrops were always good and he thought maybe Min would like some peppermint humbugs as well. He glanced down the corridor while he waited in line, just to make sure there were no problems, and he spotted someone familiar approaching.

"Hey, Harvey," he greeted his housemate with a smile. What was he doing here..? Err.. He glanced at the trolley, then back to Harvey. "Well.. buying some candy.." That should be obvious, right? "Doing alright.. you?" He raised an eyebrow when the other boy asked where Minerva was. They weren't that attached at the hip that if one wasn't with the other it was questioned immediately, were they? Shrugging it off, he said, "I would guess she's in her compartment.. I'm headed back there soon." After he had completed his prefect duties and brought them back a snack. "You getting something?" He inclined his head towards the food trolley to gesture what he meant.

Food Trolley. Right. Just for the sake of food. You know, maybe she got starved in the middle of the ride and didn't wanna leave the Prefects' Compartment anymore? Yeah? Kat made her way over there. Hmm... not much people in here either. That was sad. Did they not like food? Who didn't like food anyway? There was no more glee!ice cream here, for Merlin's sake. Her eyes then examined the items on the trolley. SIGHS. They were always the same every year and you know, the prefect was tired of it already. She would get a few pumpkin pasties but like... she had that before. Also those cauldron cakes. They needed to update the menu for this place. Could you believe she didn't want any jelly slugs to lick and throw at the window later? So uhm... no. Nothing interesting in here. She needed a brilliant idea though.

STARES FOR PEOPLE.

"BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaawwwwwkKkKK!" That's right, THE CHICKEN DANCE EVERYBODDEHHH. The blonde started flapping her imaginary wings and stomping her feet around. FLAP FLAP STOMPP STOMPPP WIGGLE WIGGLE WIGGLE.

Why was nobody joining her?! Hellooooooo! Kat continued to flap her wings and stomp. Yeaaah. That's how you DO IT, PEOPLE. "ETHAN, YOU THERE. COME JOIN ME." Prefects gotta work together, right? Riiight? SHE WAS RIGHT OKAY. And then other students she didn't know.

"YOU TOO. FLAP 'EM WINGS, YO." Kat said and nudged the boy Ethan was talking to (Harvey) at the side. STOMP STOMP STOMP. WIGGLE WIGGLE. Hey another person (Damon/Darwin)! Whoever he was. "STOP BEING QUIET. DO THE CHICKEN DANCE WITH ME." C'mon, it was a mob chicken dance! Don't miss the fun, y'all. Don't be such killjoys.

Nope. This was just a few people. She needed more. MOAR.

"EVERYBODY DO THE CHICKEN DANCE WITH ME." Probably people from the front to the back cars could've heard her already. But who cares?! WIGGLE WIGGLE FLAP FLAP.

Ok, something was going on outside. Anyway, Tag needed to restock on his sweets. The bag of candy Cassia had taken from Lex was going low on sugar. So, he excused himself from the compartment and made his way to the food trolly.

As he made his way Tag was getting out his wallet and checked how much money he had. STOP! Wait, what?! What in the world was going on? He stopped right in his spot and stood there transfixed his mouth gaping wide open, one foot in the air, he quickly realized he was losing balance and put his foot down.

What was Kat doing? Then she answered saying she was doing the chicken dance. But why? Why was she embarrassing herself? Now she was asking for people to join her? Tag had a lot of questions to ask but he was too dumbfounded to even ask them. Besides Kat seemed to be having a good time.

Ok! He couldn't hold it in anymore and Tag burst out into laughter as he doubled over and held onto his knees as a way to keep himself from falling forward. With shaky hands the blonde stashed his wallet into his back pocket. Yeah, he wasn't gonna let Katrina go at this alone. She must be turning tomato red.

So, very slowly, the boy came up to her and nodded, shook his head in a slow motion manner and started to flap his arms at his side, moved his head forward and backward while stomping her feet on the ground. "Jeezes." He muttered under his breath. Why was he doing this with her again?

And, people were probably watching by now, but to make this less embarrassing Tag tried to slide a bit to his side in a fancy dance move to make himself, HOPEFULLY, less ridiculous. At least he was trying to make it look cool.

Harvey nodded as he said that he was buying things, well yeah but he wasnt expecting to see him here. "Ah yes of course candy. The first place I came to on my first journey here. Met Mins right here actually" he said smiling as he remembered that day "Time seems to fly by when we are having fun, we need to slow the time down so we can enjoy it more" he said to no one in particular. He was kinda gutted that he was not able to enjoy his time as much as he wanted, but he wasnt gonna mention that to anyone.

He looked at Ethan as he said he was doing ok, he wished he could believe him. He knew there was more to it than that but he just nodded "Im alright too.. just going back to a busy family life now. " cause he knew his siblings wouldnt leave him alone, and he was going to be bugged for things. Plus going back to his bedroom where he had some not so good memories, but he planned to be out all day everyday. Harvey nodded as he mentioned where Mins was "Thats cool, I was just wondering if she was coming here too. But its cool I will see her a little later " he nodded brushing it off. Truth was he didnt know what he was going to say to her just yet. He looked at Ethan as he gestured towards the trolley "Oh.. umm yeah I might as well. Got a bit of a journey ahead of us" he chuckled a bit before remembering that this could be the last time he hung out with Ethan so he decided to thank the boy "Ethan I want to thank you for being a great mate. Do stay in touch, it will be strange not seeing you around now. " he said looking at the friend he had met recently and had become close friends with him in no time at all. What a quidditch player he is, now that Harvey wanted to be on the team again his friend was not gonna be there now. Maybe he would owl Ethan here and there to catch up with him on the latest news for them both. He didnt want to say it but he was kinda gonna miss this guy, ok he was gonna miss him. But that was not something two guys said to each other in public!!



He then suddenly heard someone talk about doing some dance, he was then nudged by her too! Him? Dance? Of course this girl didnt know that he didnt dance cause they had never hung out before. But he saw that some others were doing it too, so he kinda feebly did the flapping motion but very weak and not much energy put into it. He shrugged at Ethan to say he had no idea what was going on, was this girl ok? But he just continued not knowing why he was continuing it

The Food Trolley was where Penelope needed to be right now. Why? Because she was hungry. That should be obvious. And she had a couple galleons she was willing to spare for it. Long train ride after all, and she didn't like going without any kinda food for that long.

But when she finally reached the trolley...strange things were happening. Kat and Tag were flapping their arms and dancing around like crazy people. What in Merlin's name... Had they stolen some of the Hogwarts ice cream to bring on the train to eat? Penelope blinked confusedly at them for a few seconds before finally asking, "What are you guys doing?"

Ethan nodded a bit inattentively towards Harvey as he stepped forward to make his purchases. Chocolate frogs.. lemondrops.. peppermint humbugs.. and some jelly slugs for later maybe. He handed over the silver and reached for his bag of goods in return. "Oh, is that right?" he said somewhat distractedly as he looked up from his bag when the other boy mentioned something about meeting Minerva here. He shoved a few knuts back in his pocket, then turned his attention a little more fully on the younger Claw.

"Oh.. well, that's nice.. always good to get back home." Ethan was rather looking forward to a little relaxing at home after such a chaotic and busy term. He shrugged a bit as he mentioned Minerva again. "Well.. I don't know if she'll be headed out here again.. maybe. But I think I got us plenty of candy to share. I'm sure she wouldn't mind seeing you before we got back to the station, though.." He had gotten the idea that it had been a while since the two of them had spoken, especially since he hadn't seen Harvey in a while either.. the boy always seem to come and go in spurts. He let his mind wander a bit then turned his green eyes back to Harvey, hearing his words. "Well.. same to you," he said with a small grin. "And yeah.. I expect you to owl me regularly." He gave the boy a pointed look. He wasn't kidding.

Ethan was about to add something about summer when a loud noise startled him, making him jump back a bit. Green eyes snapped up to the source of the sound and he stared a bit dumbfounded for a moment. Uhhh....... Had Kat completely lost it? Flapping around like a giant chicken.. Ethan couldn't help but stare.. and then she wanted him to join her? Right. As far as he knew, the Slytherin hadn't eaten any of the ice cream.. and hadn't everyone been cured from that? He didn't know what had gotten into her, but it was actually pretty funny especially when that Gryffindor started laughing and joined in. Eh.. What the hell.. He could do with some fun on his last train ride. "Alright, I'm in.. but we need to coordinate this thing.." Or else they'd look like a bunch of random chickens instead of a streamlined performance. He set his bag down against the wall so it wouldn't get trampled on, then walked over to stand next to Kat, motioning the Gryffindors and the Ravenclaws in the corridor to get in formation.

More and more and MORE people. Kat approves.

"C'MON GUYS. FLAP YOUR IMAGINARY WINGS." Kat said. You know, like this. She then started to demonstrate how a chicken would flap its wings... only that she was using her arms. Like that you know. She was so glad that people were there to join. Especially Tag and that dude (Harvey) and Ethan! Okay that's awesome. That's how you do it, fellow!prefect. You should flap them wings too. And stomp. And wiggle. Yeah, like a little worm. WIGGLE WIGGLE WIGGLE. The others should do it too. Don't just STAND there, you know. Like... do it. DO IT. IT WAS FUN, EVERYONE.

Hmm... Penelope? What were they doing? "MOB CHICKEN DANCE!" Wasn't it obvious with all the stomping and flapping and wiggling? "You should join us!" Please? Pretty please? It was gonna be fun and... see? Others were joining too. It only meant that it was even MORE fun.

"BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaawk!" That's how you DO IT, EVERYONE. FLAP FLAP STOMP STOMP WIGGLE WIGGLE. YEAH.

As he continued to do his weird dance, Tag looked at Kat a lot to see if he was getting the steps right, he smiled when Ethan/Prefect dude joined them. He even went as far as saying that they should become a bit more coordinated. What a lovely way to liven up the party! Now HE was smart. The little blonde haired boy stepped beside Kat and tried to imitate her moves to her rhythm, try to keep it coordinated like Ethan said.

"OH HEY PENELOPE!" Tag said as he stopped the flapping, not the dancing though, to wave at Penelope. "We're doing the chicken dance! Come on, its fun. Join us!" He impatiently waved his hand out in front of him, hoping that Penelope understood what he was trying to say to her.

Tag blinked several times when Kat bawked. Was that really needed? Funny to say though, he'd feel embarrassed if he had to bawk. This was the chicken dance, and the chicken dance usually consisted of chicken noises, yes? Though, for the time being he would not bawk.

OH! IT WAS A MOB! Well, then! Tag mustered up all the voice and lungs that he could and said "DO THE MOB CHICKEN DANCE! WE'LL BE POPULAR GUYS?!" He looked over at Kat and Ethan and shrugged his shoulders. Or really well recognized at the train or school next year.
