If you happen to try one of the doors near the end of the sixth floor corridor, you might just find yourself in a handsome (if not dusty and aged) office of a large size. The faint smell of crystallized pineapple seems to linger in the air of the room, which contains numerous side doors and nooks and crannies... all of which remain firmly locked.
Although the room is devoid of any office-like furniture, or any furniture at all, there is still an impressive, but faded, rug before the large fireplace and long mirror hanging over that to boot. The spare office is still a cool place to hang out, practice some wandwork, or do some light reading. Just don't linger too long; the office's famous owner was only fond of certain guests... and only as long as they didn't ask prying questions.
Isobel strutted into the spare office, vacuum in hand, looking for a place to clean. She'd been fairly disappointed with the Astronomy class- the beginning had been promising, learning about gravity and black holes and all, but then they just learned that spell and sucked up planets for the rest of the period. It was fun, but it hadn't been very informative, and she'd been hoping to learn a lot.
Still, Isobel had full intentions to do well, no matter how much she liked the class, which meant practising this spell and cleaning up the castle. "Vacavus," she said firmly, jabbing at the vacuum with her wand. Cleaning was never especially exciting, and even using an enchanted vacuum didn't brighten it up all that much. She dusted roughly three-quarters of the office before she got bored, decided it was good enough, and left.

Nerida walked into the spare office, looking for any dust. WHATTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had someone really only clean three quarters of the office. How could they. Just because of their laziness Nerida was going to clean it all. If they couldn't finish the room they obviously didn't do a good job the first time.
The Ravenclaw gave a jab towards the vacuum and said "Vacavus" with a loud noise the dust started to be sucked up. She moved slowly around the room getting in corners, under things in tight spots, everywhere. After finishing the room, Nerida whipped the sweat from her face, who knew cleaning could make you sweat.

Nigel walked into the spare classroom just looking for a place to vacuum. Well this place was already pretty clean. But he did see some lint and dirt. So now it was time to vacuum.
Nigel pointed his awesome hoover at the floor and cast "Vacavus".
Nigel was going to make this a quick job. As he moved through the room picking up dirt as he went. He suddenly stopped when it appeared to Nigel that there was none left.
Well that was a quick cleaning. Nigel kicked the hoover to make it stop and looked around. Well it appeared that he is done

Sarah looked around the room she had entered. It was mostly empty, and Sarah took a whiff, and she smelt pineapple. She hoped Greg would not mind the smell.
She put Greg down again."now lets learn some showbiz!" she said.
"take a bow!" she said, Greg bowed halfway to his waist. He looked adorable. "Smile and then bow" said Sarah still not satified. Yet that still did not look right, "raise your hands and smile and take a bow" she commanded. She was glad with the results.
"now skip" said Sarah, Greg skipped forward. "Skip in a circle around your box" said Sarah modifying her command. Greg did so.
"Do a cartwheel" she said, Greg did a better cartwheel then Sarah had done in her life. She then proceeded to move down the list of ideas she had written in the library.She ended with walk on your hands.
By then Sarah was exhausted. "Finite" she cast and then she put Greg back in his box and she left the room

Nerida reached a room she had already been in before but this time she wasn't here to vacuum this time she was here to teach her gargoyle a trick.
Quickly setting the gargoyle down she took out her wand and passed around the room, what to teach him... A smile came onto her face as a thought came to her. "Piertotum Locomotor.".."Do the moonwalk."
She wondered if the gargoyle even knew what it was doing, but none the less the Gargoyle did the moonwalk.
"Now hop like a bunny,"
After doing a few more tricks Nerida said finite and placed him into his box.

"You were meant to close the door behind you." She said lightly as she took to walking around the room.

Ronnie walked with Jory along the sixth floor, hand in hand, when a door she had never noticed before caught her eye. "What's this?" she asked, turning towards it and glancing at Jory. She'd never heard of this place, and didn't remember seeing it on her trips around the sixth floor. Hmmm. How odd! "Wanna check it out?" she asked, slowly turning the knob of the room and pushing open the door to find a fireplace, a rug, and a mirror. Nothing too exciting, but it looked warm and peaceful for them to just hang out and talk.

Melanie used her foot to nudge the edge of the rug in front of the fireplace. Hmm... interesting. She wondered why this room was no longer anymore. It seemed like a perfectly good room to use for a class or something. Or maybe people could turn it into their little dorm room. Oh, that would be charming, wouldn't it. She looked up from the carpet to look at Lex and nodded.
"So you're looking for an adventure?" Melanie said with a little chuckle. Hogwarts was definitely the place to go look for an adventure, wasn't it? Finding something to do definitely sounded like looking for an adventure to Melanie. And thinking about that, Melanie was tempted to hum the Adventure Time theme song, an old muggle cartoon.
What room this used to be? Melanie looked around, doing a quick three-sixty. "Not really... sure what this room was. Looked like it could be someone's room though," she said with a little shrug. After all, there was a mirror and everything. "It would be comfy with a few nice chairs or beanbags and a cup of tea..." she added.
Melanie giggled when Lex complimented her singing yet again. "Thanks, Lex." Really, she couldn't say anything else about it. And then what was Melanie doing her? She looked around the room again.
"Well, I saw an open door... and so I just walked in?" Melanie said, unsure of her answer. Why did she go inside this room again? She couldn't remember. Then as she looked around the room, she noticed a cat-like thing in the middle of the room. "Oh, he's cute, is he a cat?" Melanie asked, starting to walk over to the creature.

She was happy for the company.
"I guess I am, do you care to have an adventure with me?" She asked, giving her a wide grin. Everyone knew you had more fun when you were with someone else. Normally this was with Felix but he was getting acquainted with the rug...
And there went the girl and her brilliant ideas! "We should totally ask Professor Cerulean for some of her beanbag chairs! She has so many, I don't think she'd mind." It wasn't like they were gonna ask for enough to seat a whole class. Just for a hang out spot or something. As it stood this place wasn't very comfy but it was still pretty cool. "I'm not that fond of tea though, maybe ice-cream instead?"
Her reason for coming in was real legit too. "Nah, he's a kneazle but it's fine, he loves attention." Just in case she was wondering about giving him snugglies. The kneazle rather enjoyed those.

The corners of Melanie's mouth turned up into a smile. "It would be a pleasure to go on an adventure with you," Melanie said with a nod of her head. She hadn't gone around the school with someone in a while. There was too much cleaning to do after all. It seemed like no matter how much you wiped away, several hours later, it would recollect in the exact same spot.
Her eyes were fixed on the cat sitting on the rug and Melanie kinda wanted to pet it. She looked up from the cat to look at Lex though and nodded. "That would be nice! She does have an awful lot of chairs doesn't she?" Melanie wondered if the professor transfigured objects or something to turn into chairs because then Melanie would like to know the spell. "We could put a table in here against the wall, clean it a little bit more, add some color," she added, trailing off in the end as she glanced around the room again. There was just so much they could do with this room!

"But tea is nice. They're like little warm fuzzies you wanna keep forever in your tummy," Melanie pointed out. And though ice cream was lovely, it wasn't the same warm fuzzie you got from tea. It was more like a little arctic in your tummy instead. "But we could have both, I guess... just need to get something to keep the two in here." It would definitely save time to store things in here instead of going all the way down to the kitchen... then all the way back up.
She crouched down so she was eye level with the cat and started to pet the fur. Oooh... kind of like Walnut, wasn't he? Except Melanie never felt this tickling feeling in her nose when she saw Walnut. Or at least it wasn't that bad when she did.
"ACHOO."
Melanie quickly covered her nose just as she heard the word kneazle.
"Lex... I think I'm allergic to your kneazle."

"Oops. Sorry, Rons.'' The Puffer had dropped her hand when he tried to keep his germs from spreading, but he now took back her hand. Don't worry. There wasn't germs on his hand.
Jory shook his head. "I hadn't really thought much of it,'' he admitted. He had seen it, sure. But he had not really thought about it. "Maybe it was a Professor's Office or something.''

"Do you know any spells we could use on a mirror?" Her wand wanted something to do--EEEHHHHH?
"You are? Ummm...uh...like terribly allergic and we'd have to see the Healer??" Merlin she hoped not!

"Do you know any spells we could use on a mirror?" Her wand wanted something to do--EEEHHHHH?
"You are? Ummm...uh...like terribly allergic and we'd have to see the Healer??" Merlin she hoped not!
Melanie giggled as she watched Lex doing... whatever it was she was doing. Lex always did seem to be full of energy and that was nice. It was like a giant ray of sunshine poking through grey clouds or something really poetic like that. "They don't work?" Melanie said, confused as she looked at the doors inside the room. How odd. Doors were supposed to open and close weren't they? They weren't supposed to be stuck. "Maybe they need a key," the Gryffindor said, taking a knob and jiggling it. Nope. The door wasn't opening. "Have you tried Alohomora?" Or bombarda but y'know... they probably shouldn't blow up any doors because they were good students.
She jiggled the door knob again before looking at the younger Gryffie. "We'd have to ask to take the stuff and put it in here... but maybe not specify a location?" Melanie offered. Ice cream machine? Could they even get that up the stairs all the way here? Wouldn't that be difficult? Even with magic that would be a lot of work. Melanie thought about it for a second. "But wouldn't it attract rats because we'd need the ingredients to make ice cream for the ice cream machine," she pointed out, glancing at the cat.
Y'know, unless Lex left the cat here then the cat could eat those. Like legit.

"And if we put a bed or sleeping bag in here, if we ever run out of knuts we could always stay here," Melanie added to Lex's common room comment. "We have to keep here clean though." Because if not, it'd get dusty and gross.
Melanie watched as Lex walked over to the mirror. "Uhm..." Spells to use on a mirror? "Scourgify? Confringo? You probably wouldn't want to break a mirror though. That's bad luck." And she probably shouldn't have suggested that either. Melanie looked at the cat which wasn't really a cat again and sneezed.
Then she sneezed again.
"Uhm... a...CHOO." Did Melanie need to see a healer? "No. I'm good. I'm fine. No healer needed." She'd just hold in her sneezes. And the urge to pet the kneazle because really, it was quite cute.

She watched Alexa do... whatever it was Alexa was doing and trying not to feel dizzy for the younger Gryffindor. Because watching the girl spin around and around was making Melanie's head spin and she wasn't even the one rotating in circle. She wondered if Lex felt like a chicken on a rotisserie while she spun.
Minus the being made into food part of course.
And thank Merlin, the girl finally stopped spinning. Melanie had to think for a few minutes to reply to girl. Because nothing really seemed to sink in after watching Lex spin. "Blowing up the door would probably land us both in detention, don't you think?" Melanie asked. Though she would have to say that she wasn't completely against the idea. A little part of her wanted to do it... just because she wondered what was behind the door. A tiny, little part. Really, that part of her that wanted to destroy the door was tiny and barely existed. Yup. She pressed her ear against the door and knocked. "What if it's just a closet?" Melanie asked, frowning as she pulled away and then stared at Felix the Kneazle-not-a-cat.
If it was just a closet that would be nice because more closet space was always nice. Melanie wouldn't mind more closet space at all. But there was this whole issue with getting the door opened first. She jiggled the doorknob again before looking at Lex and trying to not think about not-cat in the room.
"If we want to take the ice cream machine I guess we'd have to ask the headmistress... because it is school property." And the headmistress was in charge of the school so that would make sense. Plus, if they asked the only remaining house elf, the elf would probably say yes being bound to serve and all that. "Your... kneazle...?" Melanie stared at the kneazle again. Because it wasn't a cat. It was a kneazle. And resist that urge to sneeze too. "I guess he could... he won't... shed his fur all around here would he?" Because Melanie might have a slight issue with that. But nothing a lot of cleaning wouldn't fix, right?
Oh, Lex seemed to like the candy machine idea. Melanie smiled at the girl. "Yes, like the ones outside Sugarplum? The gumball one? But maybe with something else." Like... well, Melanie wasn't sure what to put in there but not gumballs. Maybe. Well, they could finish putting the details on this stuff later.
Lex seemed to be doing a lot of staring at Melanie and she wasn't sure if it was a good or bad thing but she just smiled and nodded her head. The smile turned into a grin at mention of being a hero. And that thought made Melanie laugh. "Exactly! We'd be like superheros with the magical power of having a wand and turning an old room into a new common room type thing!" And then one day there would be portraits of the two of them somewhere.
How did one make a mirror epic? "ACHOO." Yeah, the kneazle in the room wasn't helping Melanie all too much. "I don't think either of us would be able to cast any sort of spell that would make us be able to walk into it or turn it into a portal," she said, walking over to the mirror and tapping it. "I think it's best if we leave the mirror alone." Because if they messed something up they'd have to fix it. And fixing a mirror wasn't very high on Melanie's list of things she'd like to do while she was at Hogwarts.

Tag was strolling along a corridor, finally having found some 'alone time'. He needed a little break from things in general, and needed to be out alone for a while. As he began to daydream in spot, while he shook out his legs from standing up so much, he heard soft scuttling noises. What was that?
What time was it? The boy didn't really know. All he knew was that it seemed pretty late when he had walked out of the common room when he had finally decided on this little stroll. What if it was too late and there was a prefect or professor out patrolling the corridor. He inched out more into the corridor and looked to his left then his right, staying very silent trying to hear for those noises. Where was it coming from? If there was someone out there the boy did not want to get caught. Quickly, he found an open door and walked into the room. He stood, close as possible to the wall, waiting for the sound to come back around.

Her cat was a darn hassle since he had finally returned to his cat-like state. He was in and out of the common room more than the students were, and at this present moment in time, she needed him to be in there because she was probably supposed to be in bed or something. But instead, she was running after a scurrying cat and huffing about it whilst doing so. "I assure you, you wretched animal.. I will have your tail for this," Els hissed, finding her way onto the sixth floor, well aware of how dark it had gotten outside. Windows were telltale signs for that.
She took the opportunity of being so close to the cat to dive over him, and scoop him up in her arms. "You're in big tr-don't make a sound." Someone was...was that...no. It was no one, and she was being silly, but she'd wait these light footsteps out for a bit, and scold Gemini behind the door a little bit ahead. The Hufflepuff broke into a run, careful to keep her footsteps as light as possible, and almost threw herself through it, closing it behind her, letting out a deep breath in the process.
"Gemini, you're a dead feline." She could be in bed.

It sounded a bit like the sound might have gone but then Tag heard quieter footsteps. When would this person go so that he could safely return to his common room. Suddenly he heard a different noise, and sharply turned his head to it. The door had closed. No! He was gonna be trapped in here with that prefect or professor? Dread washed all over Tag's face. He'd never gotten in trouble before and it seemed that being out past curfew would be a big one.
No! No! He did not just hear that name. He wasn't too familiar with the name, but he'd remembered the last time he'd heard it. It belonged to that girl. " Gemini. Please no. Please tell me I heard wrong." Tag inched off the wall and looked around. Yep. It was that girl. Elodie, right? The girl that, whenever they rarely talked, got on his nerves. " Wonderful. Just brilliant. " He spoke sarcastically as he sighed. And she had closed the door behind her. He was doomed! " Why are you here!?" Tag said to her, a slightly accusing tone escaping his lips.
