Slytherin Boys Dorms

Slytherin Boys Dorms

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/m...98/SnakeCR.jpg

Down the steps to the left is the boys' dorm. There is a dorm room for each year of the house. Students, you will find many four poster beds, all draped with green curtains. Be aware there this Dorm is for Slytherin BOYS ONLY.

.

.

BUT SOMETHING IS AMISS! Your dorm looks filthy... some of the normal wear and tear on the furniture has not been repaired, and there is an awful smell coming from the foot of the beds. The sheets and curtains do not seem to be washed, and cobwebs are everywhere. And where is your trunk and belongings? Don't the house elves usually bring that down for you?

Wait! Was that a rat that just scurried over your feet?

It looks as if the house elves forgot the Slytherin Dungeon was there...

He wasn't prepared for the SMELL. West had to go ahead and cast a bubble head charm, thankful that Dylan and Sierra had taught it to him well enough that he managed with no stress. Only after he did that could he actually handle walking into his dorm room...

...

...................?

Where was his STUFF?

Where was ANYONE's stuff?

Oh wow.

West backed out and hoofed it back to the common room.

Kommoto entered the boys dorm and surveyed the place. It wasn't as glamorous as he had thought it would be. He didn't see anyone's things, so he walked over and claimed a bed. He felt grimy lying on it though. There seemed to be a smell emanating form it, and all the sheets still had dirt on them. He coughed as he breathed in dust. Escaping from the sudden cloud, he made his way back into his common room. If only he had his book. Then he could curl up in some corner and read. But that was packed away with his stuff.

He was HOPING that the boys dorms would be a pleasant surprise. Theo was a very pessimistic person, but this was just pure hope. The boy dragged himself up the stairs as quickly as he could, because he didn't like his feet generally touching this gross floor. He pushed the door open with narrowed eyes...

Please.

Please........ Prayin'.

.............

First of all, THE SMELL. It was worse than in the common room. Theo pulled his sleeve over his nose, kinda cutting off his breathing off a little, but that really didn't matter. He took tiny steps closer to his usual bed, but the smell was just getting worse.

HAD THEY NOT EVEN WASHED THOSE SHEETS? There was a gert spider sitting on his regular pillow, just chilling.

But nu-uh, that was Theo's pillow.

He made a fake gagging noise just for dramatic purposes, even if there was no one here to give him that much needed attention that he craved. Where was he going to sleep? This was all too much. The Slytherin held his hands to his eyes as they started to well up. He rubbed the tears away quickly but it just left a bunch of red marks all around his eyes.

Going back to the common room was the best idea right now, or going to find Dora, but it was a little late for that now.

Theo gave one last sob at the room, and HE SAW SOMETHING MOVE.

A RAT.

A REAL RAT.

He turned on his heel quicker than a cheetah and darted down the stairs.

Kommoto ran into the boys dorm, and threw his stuff down. He tore through his trunk, and pulled out his book. Hopping onto his bed, he began reading. This was his favorite story. soon he was engrossed in the book.

Astro Homework 1

West didn't have long to spare, but it seemed every time he tried to get a vacuum cleaner and lug it someplace to clean something, he'd spot Peeves and have to rethink his approach. That and the excessive amount of doing-things-homework and lack of sleep meant that vacuuming and pretending like he was sucking up stuff like a black hole hadn't been as simple as just doing it. Case in point, the boys Dorm. Still pretty much unlivable and obviously a priority for cleaning from his perspective.

He lugged the vacuum into the dorm and made a face as he looked around. It wasn't even close to being home this year and from what he'd heard they had the WORST dorms out of all the houses. Wasn't fair really.

He got his wand out and tapped the tube part of his vacuum, to tired to mess about as he might've if there WAS extra time on hand. "Vacavus!" He focused on it along with the tap, glad that he had plenty of practice with it by now.

The hoover began making those tell-tale sucking noises and West rather thought he could SEE it sucking dust from the very air itself. He decided to go after the cobwebs, at least that would be a good start. From the corner where his usual bed was, West lifted the vacuum tube up and SUCKED the cobwebs from the very corners of the stone walls, chasing them down as quickly and efficiently as he cou-- which turns out wasn't that efficient. The vaccuuming spell stopped and West made a face, remembering how often you had to recast it. That was okay. No big deal.

He tapped it again. "Vacavus!" It wheeeezed into life again and West continued chasing cobwebs with it. He was doing a pretty good job actually and at least he could get right in the nooks and crannies with this spell. West wondered why the elf hadn't come up and set the dorms to rights yet. It was still unusable, but he was done with not having a sanctuary to go back to and mentally reminded himself to take care of it, even if he had to do it alone, whatever it to-- dammit. The hoover stopped again.

But that was enough for now yes? He hoisted it up and inspected the area. Well at least those cobwebs were gone. Now to take the vacuum somewhere else. West carried the thing awkwardly over his shoulder and disappeared from the dorm.

DADA yoga

With his heavy school bag hoisted over his shoulder, Daichi opened the door of the seventh year's boys dormitory and entered the room. He walked to the far right where his bed was and placed his bag in front of it.

With a loud sigh, the Prefect let himself fall on top of the sheets of his bed and brought his arms behind his head as he stared up at the ceiling. He was tired but knew he couldn't sleep yet. Homework still wasn't finished and he didn't want to fail DADA class. Rolling over to his stomach, the Slytherin dragged his body over the edge of the bed and grabbed his bag.

Pulling out a list, Daichi checked it and decided to try some yoga today. Atleast it was pretty relaxing right? He rolled up the parchment and placed it back in the bag. Crawling to his knees, Daichi then sat down on his behind and crossed his legs as he sat indian style. He sat upright and closed his eyes, arms hanging over his knees and held his fingers in an O formation.

He sat there for...he didn't know how long but he was liking the relaxation and when he opened his eyes again he stretched his arms above his head and moved to the left and then right. Untangling his legs, the eighteen year old stood up from the bed and stepped on the floor.

He walked to the middle of the room and decided to try the tree pose. He stood upright with his arms by his side. Then he shifted his leg until he was standing on one, the other feet resting on the side of his knee. He stretched his arms out above him and breathed in and out heavily.

It didn't take long before he began to sway on the spot and had to stop the pose by placing both feet back on the ground or else he would have fallen down. Mweeeh he was tired already! Maybe he could just do the seated twist pose on the bed and then catch some sleep...yeah...

Tiredly making his way to the bed, Daichi cross his right foot over the outside of his left thigh. Hethen bend left knee and kept it pointed to the ceiling. He yawned as he switched his legs and did the same pose for the other leg.

When he was done, the Slytherin let himself fall backwards on the bed and closed his eyes. He'd take a nap for a few moments before continueing studying for his NEWT exams.

DADA [extra]

Dylan busted up into the dorms, the look of PURPOSE on his face. Several things he wanted to do...One...change the sheets on his bed. Two...clean the windows....Three...scrub the floors...but most importantly, he wanted to change his sheets. Yep, that had been mentally added to the checklist twice. The Slytherin was massively particular about that type of thing...and no, he hadn't been washing them himself. His mother had been sending clean ones from home...and he'd just been sending the dirty ones back to her to wash.

"You wanna get started on the windows?" He asked casually as hie slowly made way towards HIS bed, immediately stripping the bedding. Really, he didn't care about anyone else's bed...but as for his...Dylan wasn't going to sleep on dirty sheets. Absolutely not. The snob in him wouldn't allow it.

Getting the dirty pulled and piled up on the floor, Dylan opened his wardrobe and pulled a fresh set, pausing to rub them against his face. They still smelled like home...and were totally soft...and of great quality and thread count...

Siiiiigh.

Pulling them open to spread them out, Dylan popped them up, grasping the ends of the material to lift them and allow them to slowly drift back down into place. Really, the's the only bit he was prepared to do as far as getting the sheets back on his bed...Drawing his wand, he muttered a quick spell that had the sheets fitting themselves into place on his bed...and Dylan sighed. Hefting the thick duvet up, he slowly moved it back into place over the newly changed sheets...

"You good over there, mate?"

RachieRu 07-30-2013 01:29 PM

His thoughts had been right. He hadn't made his bed in the morning. Nothing changed really though. He would do that later. He bit his lip, listening to Dylan. He figured that Dylan would know more and stuff. He was older. "Sure." He conjured a bucket, and cloth, before heading over to one of the windows. Hopefully he wouldn't see any dementors when he cleaned the windows. He leant up onto his tip toes, wiping away at the windows. They were kind of grimy. They hadn't been cleaned for a while. They must have gotten lazy. He hummed to himself as he cleaned, not bothering to pay too much attention to what Dylan was saying.

Oh. He was talking to him. He paused, glancing over his shoulder. "Yup...very good." Window was looking much cleaner. He could actually see through it.

"I like that you don't talk much..." Really, Dylan did...because the face he showed to others was not really his true face...Of course Dylan could act like the life of the party...but in reality, the Slytherin was quiet, reserved, to himself, and not about what everyone else was doing. He and Clement had a lot in common.

So...he dug that about him.

Finishing up with his bed...the Captain summoned another rag and can of spray for dusting and polishing. He really wanted to make stuff clean...So, he was going to do that....Spraying the rag, he started wiping at his bed posts, putting some elbow grease into it...and he hadn't forgotten about the headboard. That got a good buffing, too...as Dylan moved the rag over things. Then he'd moved onto his wardrobe...making sure to polish it's wooden outsides...He'd even been considerate of his dorm-mates and slowly stepping around the room, polishing and dusting their bedposts, headboards, and wardrobes. So nice was he, in fact, that Dylan had even pulled his wand and scourgified certain areas of the room for them.

He was a totally good dorm-mate.

...and then it was time for MORE scrubbing....He went ahead and conjured up another bucket, filling it with water and soap (again, with magic)...

"Still good?" Dylan chuckled...

Ascanius was really tired after a long day or people watching and lounging and judging. It was a hard business to be him wherever he went because, well, his face warranted such a visceral response from people it was almost like he was holding up some torch. A handsome face torch. Smirk.

Ah well, his day was over so it was back to the dorms to maybe play some drums on his headboard. There was not much else to do IN the dorms save one thing, but hey, he was too tired to cause trouble.

Walking into his dorm he was met with a surprise. Captain was cleaning like an animal and talking to Clement. They both got bro!nods but he had to admit that he was amused by the sight. After all his first impression of Captain Montmorency was of him cleaning on his hands and knees with the Slytherin's all about to help. He had recalled that it reminded him of Snow White and, well, it was nice to see things go full circle. Ahem.

So what did that make Clement? His woodland creatures or something? Yeah, this was all really entertaining.

With his usual smirk, he flopped on his bed and causally threw out into the cosmos, "This could be misinterpreted, Captain. All the cleaning you do." Wasn't that right, Snow White?
