Presley was almost surprised that the hourglasses still housed the gems. At least they hadn't broken the glass and sold the stones. She really was surprised, however, to see Ravenclaw in the negative. It was only the first day! On the upside, they were even with Slytherin and Gryffindor. Hopefully after classes today they would have more.

Sonea felt confused, she didn’t understood what the cleaning the school had to do with the Astrology lesson she had just followed. Her homework was to clean a few places in the school with the vacuum cleaner she had used during the lesson. But, she wanted to have the house point she could win if she did it correctly so here she stood, with her vacuum cleaner in her hand and searched for dust and other dirty things, what was not a difficult task now that the house elves where nowhere to see…

Sonea found a corner with dust and tapped with her wand on the vacuum cleaner and spoke calm the spell, “Vacavus” The vacuum cleaner made a sucking sound, showing her that it was working and she did what she needed to do and cleaned the dust in all the corners from the room.

Tsk. Tsk.

Gwen eyed the four hourglasses in front of her. The content in the hourglasses seemed kind of equal. With no big differences in house points. But… the blue in one of them seemed to be… well… not so much. The seventh year continued to look at the hourglasses, thinking about lots of random things: the astronomy homework which she needed to finish, the letter she had to write, the leaflets and letters she still had in the Common Room. Mhm. She had to read those too. Gah. There was so much left to do.

And yet, here she was, looking at the four hourglasses. And Gwendolyn continued to think about her plans for the day, putting her thoughts in order.

Continuing from the entrance hall, Sophie pushed the vacuum around and finally reached the hourglasses with the beautiful and... not so shiny gemstones. Gah! Even the hourglasses??

The badger was tempted to clean up the hourglasses too. Not using the vacuum, obviously! But y'know, with a spell. Teehee! And speaking of that, she hadn't had the need to cast the Sucking Charm again! Wooooo!!! Nice! It had worked then!! The spell was strong enooough! Yay!

Sophie kept walking around, pushing and pulling the vacuum back and forth to make sure she got all spots twice. At least underneath the hourglasses she was being extra careful. No particular reason, it was probably because she wanted to spend more time looking at the beautiful, colourful gemstones. They were truly beautifuullll!!!

......."Scourgify!" The fifth year couldn't resist any longer. Not that she was a cleaning freak or had any sort of compulsive disorder, but she wanted to see the colourfulness better. And there!! After the dust was gone, it was easier to see the gemstones.

Lovely! Grin! So she continued to hoover around, peeking over her shoulder every now and again to admire the colourfulness.

Okay so Kat didn't get any food from the Kitchen. She would rather grab a bite at the Great Hall even if she knew and expected there to be porridge. Again. They never seem to run out of porridge in here, don't they? Kat knew there would be ice cream too, but honestly that wasn't what she wanted in her stomach right now. She wanted food. Like... real food. Hogwarts seemed to have lacked it in a way and Kat wanted to know the story behind the mysterious lack of funds.

Look. House points. Kat looked at them for a moment. Hufflepuff was... on the lead. SQUINT. That wasn't going to happen. Not again. Kat was already sick of that bloody tie in the House Cup last term. She didn't want it to happen again and she was going to make sure that Slytherin got that cup. Yeah, sorry for Ella and her Puff friends. They've had the Cup for way too long.

It sort of need a bit of cleaning though. Hmm. "Vacavus!" Kat tapped the vacuum with her wand again and held its nuzzle tight as it went on. Heh, see that shifty cloud of dust over there? It's gone now. Kat's vacuum had sucked it in. And all the grime and stuff. Ewewewew. It was gone now though. Yay. Good job, vacuum.

They were probably some of the most precious items on the list of the things that the goblins were repossessing. The rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and yellow topaz were extremely valuable and that was why they needed to be taken with care.

But Hemlor was very mad that Hogwarts had been in possession of these precious jewels for so long, so she decided that a mess would be worth it. Taking a goblin made sword from her bag she slashed at the hourglass containing the rubies first and had the rubies fall in a ruby rain into her bag.

Sophie made her way out of the Common Room and up to the ground floor. It was time to practise Charms - it was always - time to practise Charms, actually! Heh! - and she decided to go outside.

Before she reached the entrance hall, though, she saw something shining from the corner of her eyes, followed by a really loud crash. Widening her eyes and turning around, the badger gasped at the sight of a... goblin??? taking the rubies from the Gryffindor hourglass!

"Wha---" She was so shocked she did not get any closer to the... scene. "What are you doing??"

You know what Lex liked? Seeing the hour glasses and their jewels. The positions weren't really what held the appeal, more like...seeing them and knowing that she had a part in all that. Mhm.

Conceited wasn't it?

Not that she cared--"Holy Kneazle!! What do you think you're dooooing??" And since when did Hogwarts have Goblins??? Was this one of those things that no one bothered to mention to her? So not cool, something like this would have been entertaining information, still very neat!

But more to the point.

"You can't just take those! The hourglasses won't look as prettiful anymore silly and the Headmistress will be upset!!! What even? Don't you have a vault to go protect?" It was reasons like this that made places like Hogwarts go broke. They were probably off prancing somewhere when the school got robbed and now SHE was suffering.

Oh and HAI Sophie!!!!

From the Transfiguration corridor, Mo had followed the goblin to the Prefect's Bathroom, but once it disappeared inside... well. He couldn't follow it anymore, could he? Instead of waiting around up there (which would have been smart, now that he thought about it), Mo continued down through the school in hopes of running into SOMEONE who could tell him what was going on.

By the time he got to the Entrance Hall, Mo was kicking himself for not staying outside the Prefect's Bathroom. He wasn't doing a bit of good wandering around like a curious crup, and he'd probably lost the goblin completely now...

Oh, hello, another goblin. Mo slid to a stop, making eyes at the goblin with a sword facing off against two girls. "Oi. You." Think think think, Branxton. Use that Ravenclaw brain. "I want to speak to your leader."

Lottie gasped at the...house-elf wannabe...and stared wide-eyed as they STOLE Lex's gems. "Excuse me...," she cleared her throat, "...Whyyy exactly are you taking what isn't yours?" Or did they actually belong to them? She couldn't care less about the yellow hourglass, but the red one was as close to magenta as possible, and rather pretty looking.

"Who are you, even?" Also, Lex, no yelling, yeah?

WHYWASHETAKINGTHERUBIES?! And was he planning on taking them all??? Could they take some as well?

Sophie, you're the oldest, DO SOMETHING.

Eliza was on her way to the Great Hall with some hot water and tea to try and do a reading for Divination, when she saw a commotion at the hour glasses. At first, all she saw was Lex and another girl who seemed to be yelling at something. She took a few steps closer and saw that the Gryffindor gems were spilling all over the floor and into some sort of bag! Oh and now Mo and another girl were getting closer to the hourglasses as well.

"LEX! What is going on here?" she asked as she rushed over, thinking maybe Lex had gone a little too far with her blasting skills. But when she was near enough to see, she couldn't believe her eyes. She nearly dropped her mug on the floor when she saw a short, tiny, long fingered little Goblin standing in front of them with a sword. Backing away slightly, the Ravenclaw grabbed the arm of her lion friend and tried to get her to step back as well. "W-why does the Goblin have a sword in the castle?" What on Earth was going on here?! She looked around, worried, and wondered where Ethan and Min were right now.

She listened as Mo confronted the Goblin as well. Speak to your leader?! That one's probably got worse things than a sword! Imagine what the LEADER might have! She had completely abandoned the tessomancy thing for now and sat her cup down, not caring what may happen to it. She was pretty sure the only symbols she'd see now would tell her she was in danger.

Aquila just came from out in the grounds, picking berries or whatever Good Mother Earth can provide a lanky growing teenager. Suddenly she heard something shatter and her head spun sharply towards the sound.

Oh someone small and ugly broke an hourglass—with a sword!

Oh! Oh! Hide she must! Swords are deadly! She must do something to protect herself...

... so she covers her face with her hands.

But not before hearing the dude asking about someone’s leader

She peeks through her fingers and realizes it was Mo—with Lex and that Badger girl Lottie and all other students milling around within sword’s reach “Moooo! Leeeeex! Youuuu...” she whispered hoarsely at the group “What are you doing??? That ugly elf has a sword!”

Back to covering her face. And no she has never seen a goblin in her life before.

Oh the children.

At least these weren't trying to steal the jewels back like the pesky children that kept trying to steal the plants back in the greenhouses. And one of them wanted Hemlor to take him to her leader. That would be pointless of course. And then one thought it wasn't theirs. Well it was now since the stupid Hogwarts people wouldn't pay off their loans.

"The jewels belong to us," Hemlor said as she swung the sword at the next Hourglass. It was the one with the pretty yellow topaz in it. Sticking the bag underneath to collect the raining jewels she also mentioned to the children. "And silly children, the sword is just for breaking open the hourglasses." It wasn't as if Hemlor would actually use it on the children. She wasn't cruel like that.

She had hobbled, and hobbled and kind of dragged herself into the entrance hall – and then she saw it. The glint of a shiny thing. A sword. Oh merlin. Merlin this was not her day. This was not her day at all.

She was sore, and now standing stock still she watched as Hemlor – the same goblin who had caused her to fall out of that tree earlier was stealing the gems from the greenhouse was in here taking the gems. “Don’t get too close – she’s got man eating plants in that bag.” Because she did, she didn’t think she’d been that slow getting back here. Seriously – she could have bummed a ride in the Goblin’s bag – but then she’d be eaten by plants by now and that wouldn’t be good.

She did wibble a bit at seeing the sword. Swords looked painful – and pain made her think of the tree and falling and her ankle. And the possibility of being shoved by this mean mean goblin lady. She hobbled her way over toward Mo, Lex, and Aquila. "She has m-man e-eating plants." She stammered out as she stood there awkwardly.

A few leaves still stuck to her hair - and even a twig sitting out by her ears.

What in the name of Sweet Circe... Mo was fully distracted from his loud demands for attention by the cowering of little Aquila. Everyone else seemed capable of defending themselves, but Aquila was just... well, she was covering her face like that would protect her from a sword. What did they TEACH in that place she'd come from? Mo sighed and wrapped an arm around the girl's waist, hauling her up under one arm like a sack of flour. She dangled from his grip.

"No way. The jewels represent points earned by students, which means they belong to the ones who earned them. So like these," Mo stepped forward and tapped the Ravenclaw hourglass. "They belong to me. I earned them, I own them now. You can't take them." Ahem. Now he was standing between the hourglass and the goblin.

Not a great choice when one was carrying a limp-doll baby!Claw. "And ALSO... if you were allowed to come in and take stuff, why not announce yourself to the Headmistress so she can escort you? I bet she doesn't know you're here, which means you're sneaking. Why are you sneaking?"

"HEY!" Oops, maybe not the way to approach a goblin, right? But SERIOOOOUSLY, they were not 'children', and they were not 'silly'. Well, not all of them. Hey there, Mika.

So, Lottie cleared her throat, "I mean...," she started, taking two steps toward the goblin, "...what do you mean? Why do they belong to you, (whoever you are)? They belong to Hogwarts." Though, she wasn't so sure when she said it.

"Can I have one of the red ones?" It was worth the shot, okay. "Not the yellow ones, you can keep those."

HEY MORE PEOPLE!!! Let's see, there was Lottie and Mo and Aquila, Eliza and MIKA showed up too!! "Yes! What Mo said, you're leader!" Except the goblin wasn't listening! She was just moving to the next set and taking about the jewels belonging to them.

"Belong to you??" She made a face at the thing, looking at the EMPTY Gryffindor glass. "Um, how about NO. See those? Have those but I wasted effort on homework to get those hourglass jewels where they are." Rude and just no again. Mo man-handling Aquila was disregarded.

"Aren't you listening?" because it was still taking. Lex marched closer and tried yanking on the rude goblin. "Take those and put the red ones back." And Lottie was asking for colours!! Was that allowed??

"Once you've put them back I want one too! Um...one of the blue ones though because they're pretty...Lottie can have one of the reds I guess but you have to put the others back, okay??" BEAM.

Okay. Now these children were asking questions.

And one of them was carrying another like a sack of flour. "Oh do be careful please," she said to the boy that was carrying the younger girl. Even though they were annoying she didn't want one of the children to be hurt because the boy was carrying her.

"I'm sorry dears, but the goblins of Gringotts are her repossessing some of the items at Hogwarts and these were on the list. You will have to find a new way to keep track of points or whatever," see Hemlor could be nice also. Even if she was on her repossessing mission. Moving around the boy who was carelessly holding the younger girl she carefully slashed at the hourglass with the sapphires, careful not to get any glass shards on the two children. Then she filled her bag with the sapphires.

What was going on??? Where had all of those students come from? AND WHY WAS SOPHIE THE OLDEST ONE THERE?? That wasn't good!!

And the kids were all going crazy and speaking rather rudely to the goblin who had a SWORD. "Guys, w--" O______________________O that Ravenclaw boy should NOT be standing there! And... holding that other kid like that. "Um... people," So many of them! And Sophie didn't know all of them either. "Maybe it's some sort of misunderstanding. We should... talk this through, yes?" And get out of there now, Ravenclaw!!

"Um..." Mrs Goblin, ma'am? How was Sophie supposed to call... her? "Hi." She spoke to the goblin, stepping closer. Sophie felt the need to stand between all of the others and the goblin herself. Oh, she also resisted the urge to pull out her wand... just in case.

Smooth... "You don't n--" skdjfnskjfnsd The others were already all over the goblin saying the gemstones belonged to them because they have earned them and dkjfnskjfndjk Merlin help theemmmm!! Oh, a good idea right there! "Yeah, maybe you should talk to Headmistress Truebridge first!" Ravenclaws were really smart, weren't they? "Maybe one of us can get her for you?" The Hufflepuff added, looking around at the others. She herself wasn't going anywhere because the goblin had a SWORD and the others were YOUNGER and she felt responsible.

She didn't like feeling responsible... =S

Aidan hobbled out of the Great Hall towards where he was hearing all this shouting from.

His pace quickened to where all these people were standing gawking at...........a GOBLIN?! WITH A SWORD??!!! TAKING GRYFFINDOR'S RUBIES???? "OIII! STOOOOPPPP!" Those were Gryffindor's!!!!!

Also, he wanted the sword. So if the goblin let Lotus have a ruby, he'd ask for it.

THEN USE IT TO HONORABLY DEFEND THEIR HOUSEPOINTS!

The Ravenclaw's eyes grew even wider when the goblin moved onto the next hourglass. He stomped right up near the gobling...and kept stomping. "THOSE. ARE. MINE!!!!"

Oh noes! There was another shattering sound... Aquila wanted to peek again but decided that she MUST cover her face tighter, because that sound just seem to get nearer... and then there was that voice, nothing like she’s ever heard before and it was all sorts of odd.... doing the oddest sort of thing like using swords to break hourglasses...

And suddenly the ground slid from under her feet.

She squealed, and for a moment her hands broke free from her face and watched the world tilting off on its side, then there was this strong grip around her torso “Wh?.... Mo? Mo whats going on?... why are you—OOF!” yeah that was her head bumping against the Ravenclaw hourglass.

Shiny shiny sapphires blinked at her and for a moment she was all entranced by their beauty. Then she realized that Mo was talking again, but not to her. She turned her head this way and that, her long blonde curls getting in her view, and parted them like a curtain just to see who Mo was arguing with. It was the ugly elf.

Then the elf was explaining... a little hard to understand given that the world was kinda topsy-turvey from her point of view. Re-possessing? Who’s possessed? But before she can utter a confused mumble tehr was another shattering of the glass...

And the pretty pretty sapphires blinking at her earlier tumbled out like a gushing stream.

She gasped. They are soooo pretttyyy and.... they are all disappearing into that sack.

And then... she started to CRY.

GASP!

"Oh, well, there's very little to do, then...," she shrugged, knowing full well that this had to be thanks to whatever financial problems the school had, but this was all nonsense. Why were they even doing this without any official? And where was Milton in all of this? He would've been standing close by leaning on a wall and watching all the shiny gems go away. Or would he have stood there defending his sapphires??

What would Milton, the Ravenclaw, do? EYES ON YOU, MO. Not Mika.

Of course Lex would want a blue one. SIGH.

Seriously, "Mr. Goblin, why's there no one of authority here?" Surely, he was one, was he even a he? She couldn't tell female from male when it came to goblins, sadly.

AND...NO DON'T TAKE THE GREEN ONES! "Please, don't take the emeralds...," didn't he have ENOUGH gems in there????!?!?!?!?

It did cross her mind, you know? To get in front of the green hourglass, but she was no snake. Not officially, anyway.

She eyed Lotus glancing at her. Yeah she knew Lottie didn't like her that much - or at all, but whatever. She wasn't silly. Even if she currently had twigs in her hair and stuff.

Mika just eyed the Goblin as she said they were from Gringotts. “Shouldn’t you be escorted if this is an official reposition?” She asked her eyebrows furrowing. Since it was logical for a repossession team to be official looking...maybe not just stuff plants into a normal extended bag.

"If you are from Gringotts would you be opposed to us say sending the Wizards of Gringotts a letter asking about the reposition?" She asked her tone firm because she'd do it. "We could even send a patronus." She was going to do this.

Wand in hand she was ready to cast a patronus and ask the question.

Repossessing???

MERLIN'S BEARD!!! Oh and AIDAN! his entrance was loud enough to not be missed and he got a smile before she turned her attention back to the jewel stealing goblin. Okay not stealing because apparently they had ...aright?

"I don't think we'll be able to find anything else on such short notice! You should have let use record the point first!" Now they'd never know just how much they were losing by...on second thought...this might not be so bad. Lex let go of the goblin but didn't pass the chance to dip into the bag real quick and pull out both a red and a blue jewel. Yup. This was fine.

She stuck them behind her back and slowly walked back to Lottie, making sure they weren't visible.

She'd hand it to her after if this worked. Now to watch because well...repossession??
