The plant class.

She walked into the classroom hoping to find the lady inside. But nope, no one was visible in the vicinity. She was looking forward to talk to the plant woman. After all it was her HoH and she had certain issues to resolve.

Which could be taken care of.

She took in the brightness of the room. It looked considerably happier than the whole school. She walked in slowly, very very slowly. She went straight for the seat but thought against it.

Moving towards the corner, she started to examine the plants. She moved from one to another, eying them, deciding which was good and wasn't. Ofcourse she knew nothing about them. And certain not-so-good looking ones didn't give her any interest to know about them.

She glanced at the classroom door, seeing if someone had entered.

Had she read the notice wrong? Was this some punishment place she came in by mistake? And no professor. Few seconds later, she went back to looking at the plants, sighing.

First time in history, the student is early to class. And funny that the student is ME! HEH!

At least something looked normal. Well, most of the grounds didn’t seem quite as off as the castle did, at least not as far as Kendall was concerned. She’d been excited that the creatures sanctuary was back, but first there was classes to worry about. Namely, herbology, so she’d turned her attention away from the COMC buildings as she continued on to the greenhouses. She’d blinked at the rows of stools outside, however. That and the fact Professor Bentley appeared to be nowhere around. maybe things weren’t quite as normal out here as she’d expected, but for now she was going to think positively. Maybe the professor was still getting things ready for the lesson or something, and that was why she wasn’t there waiting for the students. It wasn’t anything bad, and at least so far she hadn’t had to spend anything. Of course, for the time being she’d bypassed the Great Hall for breakfast and instead ate a couple of the pieces of chocolate she had in her school bag, but that didn’t mean anything.

She wasn’t even hyper, or at least not any more so than usual, so she decided to quietly perch onto one of the stools to wait. People would arrive, and Professor Bentley would too. She just had to find a way to occupy her time until then. Therefore, once she was settled onto the stool, she dug around in her bag again and pulled out a sketchbook and a drawing pencil. Flipping to a clean page, she looked around and finally started sketching a bird that was calmly poking around on the ground nearby. As long as nobody startled it, she’d be occupied for a while yet. Hopefully until the lesson began.

She spotted this girl walking into the class. A calm, senior... she eyed the batch, Ravenclaw. Being alone in the plant room with nothing to do was almost boring her to death. She decided that she could as well speak to this Claw. After all Claws were nice. Yesh, her twin was nice.

"Uhm...hello?" she called to the older girl, who had already settled down, pulled some book and was..writing? Eh, too claw-ish.

Well, look who got to keep their plants. Grrr. The Headmistress couldn't have sold them instead of the plates? Really? Grumble, Grumble. Needless to say, Sky wasn't in as good a mood as usual. For one thing, it was her aunt's day to send breakfast and she'd been too busy to stop off at a bakery for something, so she'd just sent pop tarts. Then, she had completely forgotten her notebook and had had to go back to the common room (paying, of course). And now this.

Anyway, she entered the greenhouse glaring at all the plants as if they'd personal offended her and took a seat on one of the stools.

Christmas entered the herbology classroom and smiled and said "Good morning Professor Bentley" Christmas liked her head of house and took a seat and waited for the lesson to start

So far so good. Of course, nobody else had even arrived yet, but her sketch was coming along slowly. Kendall was happy to just continue that way, especially since she knew that once the professor arrived, idle conversation would probably stop. She wasn’t talking, though, just drawing and that wouldn’t bother anyone. Aside from herself, if someone showed up and interrupted her, made the bird fly away. She wouldn’t think about that, and she figured people would show up either way. She’d just deal with that when it happened, and she’d paused in her sketch to loop a pink-streaked lock of auburn hair behind her ear. It was in her way, and it wasn’t easy to draw when she had hair in her eye.

She’d looked up at the sound of a hesitant voice, however, and smiled at the young girl. She thought she’d seen her at the feast, along with another one who looked the same. Either way, she hadn’t actually seen her when she’d arrived at class, but she wouldn’t be rude now. “Hi,” she said simply, resting her pencil sideways on her sketchbook for now. “Can’t find a way to keep yourself distracted while we wait?” That was unfortunate. Being bored was always a bad thing, which was why she always kept things with her. At least it was a way to keep occupied when there wasn’t anything better to do, but maybe the firstie didn’t know that yet.

Niamh entered the Greenhouses with much apprehension. The girl didn't like plants or mud, and Herbology, even when considering the theoretical side of it, was her worst subject. The teacher wasn't here yet, but for Niamh, that just meant more time that she didn't have to get muddy. Although, she had heard from somebody that there was some kind of aquatic plant place at Hogwarts this term and this had sparked some interest in the petite blonde Eagle. Niamh loved the water, and she wondered if maybe she could get away with studying water plants and nothing else. Mud-free Herbology! It can't be impossible, she thought, just highly unlikely.

Herbology. Juliet is quite excited for this subject. Nothing in particular, it's just that Herbology just always had fun activities. Juliet entered the greenhouses and it's nice to see that its still the same old Herbology classroom unlike the other parts of Hogwarts. *cough* common rooms*.

When she walked inside the classroom and did not see the professor in sight. She must be entering a little bit later. She took a seat on one corner and waited for Professor Bentley and the rest of the students to come inside.

School bag in his hand, Daichi stepped outside the castle and walked over the path towards the greenhouses for the first lesson of Herbology. He was wondering what he was going to learn now but he had the feeling that the first lesson was just going to be a theory class, especially judging by the stools present in front of the Greenhouse... But , maybe he had been wrong.

"Hey Juliet" He greeted the other Slytherin as he sat down on one of the stools near her. Hmmm...Professor not here yet?

Herbology time!

Humming happily, Christina walked to the greenhouse. Herbology was one of her favorite lessons, not to mention because her mother worked as Herbologist and became her mentor too. She wondered what would they learn today and hoped it would be awesome; the lesson and of course the Professor too.

Stepping into the greenhouse, she didn't see the Professor. Hmm... Where was she? Well, at least she wasn't late. Christina then took a seat in the middle and waited until the Professor showed up herself.

Despite her love for the greenhouses, Seren was somewhat disappointed to be holding her lesson indoors when the weather was so nice outside.

Dressed in turquoise work robes, black riding boots over black pants, Seren swept into the greenhouse, a gloved hand subconsciously holding her belly.
"Good day everyone!" she greeted, eyeing the students that were present. "We'll wait a few more minutes before we get started."

Okay so Herbology wasn't a class that he was particularly interested in, but being outside had a lot of appeal. Michael made his way down the greenhouses on his own, he would get into less trouble that way.

He walked into the assigned greenhouse right behind the Professor. "Hello Professor." He was just about to walk over and take a seat but he paused and looked at Bentley with a questioning gaze. "Do you have problems with garden gnomes? Because I could help you with them. I've been wrestling gnomes since I was four years old." And he had yet to meet one that he couldn't beat.

Kat was looking forward to Herbology. The lessons they learnt in this class were always interesting and she liked Professor Bentley too. Awesome class and awesome teacher together? Who couldn't like that, hmm? The prefect entered the Greenhouse and saw things were... neat. That was impressive and the fact that it remained untouched was a relief to the Slytherin.

Comparing this place to their common room was... uh, ew. Nothing positive.

Oh, Professor Bentley was there. "Hello Professor Bentley," Kat greeted and went to take a seat. Yep, she was STILL admiring the pretty and clean greenhouses. Now why can't the Slytherin Common Room be anything the same? Cos obviously this place did not look abandoned. It deserved a bit of admiration and praise, yeah?

Sonea entered unsure the classroom and looked around her, she had not been so good at this lesson the previous term and she had a bad feeling that this year would be the same. But… She was a Slytherin and she wanted to be the best in everything she wanted to do, so she wanted to do her best during this lesson! “Hello everyone” greeted Sonea without looking who were sitting around her, she just greeted everybody who was already present and searched for a place where she could sit and do her work during the lesson.

Herbology!

It was one of Gwen’s favourite school subjects, so she was looking forward to this class. Though, as always, the Ravenclaw was running a bit late. Ehh. She always thought it would take her less time to get from the Common Room to the greenhouses. Hmm. Next time she would remember to leave a few minutes earlier from the Ravenclaw tower.

As she stepped in, the seventh year noticed that Professor Bentley and a few students were already there. ‘Hello Professor’, she greeted before making her way to the stools, picking a random seat. As she waited for class to start, Gwen noticed that, despite the way everything seemed to have changed at Hogwarts this year, the greenhouse was quite orderly. As usually.

Okay, Theo had his thinking hat on today.

Because Herbology was by far his worst subject, and he kinda wanted to change that this term. Since he was starting to get the hang of Charms, maybe it could work. Theo stepped into the greenhouses, feeling much brighter having caught up on some much needed sleep.

It was comforting to see that the greenhouses were tidy!!

Even though Mack had never been one to grow anything, she was looking forward to this class. She couldn't wait to see all she could learn, and maybe she would learn to grow things. Entering the greenhouses she was surprised at how many people were already there, she instantly recognized Sonea and walked over to where the girl had chosen to sit "Hello Sonea, I think this is our first class together" The blonde beamed at her friend, they had already decided that they would be study partners so it made her very happy to see her in a class. "Mind if I join you?"

Ky was prepared for this: prepared to face the devils of nature.

It took a while for Ky to find the classroom. When he did, he immediately took a seat, staring cautiously at the oddly-shaped plants around him. Ky's history with exotic plants have not been pleasant. Well...if it hadn't been for Ky's overwhelming curiosity and absurd risk-taking mind, he would not have gotten bitten by the fierce, hot-tempered green monster with spikes, and had to stay in the hospital for days. He will make sure nothing like that will happen again.

Ky ruffled his hair and adjusted his collar as the other students filed into the classroom. Keep it cool, Ky. Keep it cool...

Herbology. One of the subjects Jory enjoyed a lot. Especially last term's with the ecosystem and all. He didn't know what to expect of the Greenhouse as the School was almost in shambles but he was relived to see it was quite clean.

Professor Bentley was already there. "Good day, Professor!'' he greeted. The Puff wanted to know what they would be working on today and couldn't wait to get started. He hurried off to find a seat.

Sarah bounced into class. She was more interested in herbology nowt athat5 she was using it on a more practical level. She walked in and looked around and sat down just before the professor pitched. "Hello Professor, by the way if you need any manure or dung my parents have a farm so they can send, also Kurumi, the former lion prefect, is sending me dragon dung so if you need I can get". Sarah said.
She then opened up her textbook and began to revise what they had learnt the previous term

Derry walked down to the Greenhouse, wearing the boots that she used to wear to muck out the horses and feed the chickens... her dad had wanted her to get new school shoes but since these were black, and she could clean them easily, she hadn't let him spend money on new ones - and it seemed to have paid off, couldn't go around wearing flimsy little shoes when they were doing plant stuff, could she? No.

When she reached the greenhouse she spotted the Professor and, with only the tiniest bit of a stutter, greeted her. "Good D-day, Professor." she said with a small smile, taking a seat on one of the stools and looking around.

Derry liked plants, flowers especially. She wondered if any of them could actually sing, like in Alice in Wonderland... even though they didn't have larynxes (which, according to her mother, made the whole thing impossible... but her mother said a lot of magic was impossible... that's what came from being a half-blood, apparently.)

"Hi professor Bentley." West greeted, noticing that she was holding her stomach but just, y'know, assuming she ate too much undercooked broccoli or something. He gave her a bright smile, from a good couple inches higher than the last time he'd seen her.

He found his usual spot and started unpacking the things that he knew he'd need.

Taylor came in, beaming. "Good day, Professor." She chirped and twirled, "How was your summer?" Tay was full of hyperness.

Walking in the house of dangerous plants. Not all were dangerous really, but that's what Zeke likes to call it. Better be safe than sorry so he was on his guard as he entered the place. At least this part of Hogwarts seemed the most taken care of.

Anyway, as he entered the Greenhouse, Zeke greeted "Good morning, Professor, Bentley." Head of House, gotta behave in Herbology. He's been failing it for as long as he can remember.

He sat down one of the stools and waited, not bothering to look around at the other students. Besides he didn't have much people he knew anyway.
