A silent auction now, hm? This worked too. Honestly, Atticus thought he preferred it this way. It lessened the competitive atmosphere when a large number of people wanted one thing at once. Writing it down made people a little less impulsive. That was how he looked at it, anyway.

He smiled upon seeing no one else had bid on them yet and picked up a quill to carefully fill out his information.

Once that was done, he moved away but made a mental note to keep an eye on the table for the rest of the time the fundraiser was open.

Silent auction? Jonathan has never done this nor have heard of this before. The usual auction that he has went to or rather, has experienced, well, was the one that held at the platform earlier. Looking at the list, he saw something that he has desired the moment he entered the auction area. These 5 sculptures. Look at them, they're ANIMATED. It's super cool just looking at them. Plus, Jonathan likes collecting rare items.

There were few things at the auction that he actually wanted. But Dash had managed to sneak away for a bit. Staring at the sculptures before his eyes flickered over to the description Dash was...intrigued. Romanos had donated them? And he could make them better.

These. Ivy wanted these, too. She had been waiting for these to come up during the live auction, but this worked better. She mostly just wanted the raven, but the other animals were also intriguing. They were growing on her, so decided to bid.

He had only circled the tables and already someone had bid on the sculptures. Shaking his head, Scabior bid again.

Atticus had noticed a few people approach the table with the sculptures on it a one after the other, and once they were gone and the table was free again, he made his way over. Merlin, so they had been bidding on them too. Well, it looked like he would have to bid again too.

Hah. How about NO?

Ivy had stepped away for a moment to look at the other items, but she saw other people bidding on HER statues again. Not just any two people, though. That lovely man that belonged to Althea (darn) and the other quite attractive one. Their attractiveness was almost enough to give up on the auction... Not.

Ivy stepped back over to the table and upped the bid.

The five items were so interesting looking. She picked up the dragon and petted it, watching it move in her hand. "You know... Genie has been fascinated with dragons lately... she would love this." She gently put it back down. "I just wanted to see this... we can go back if you want."

The Ivy woman was persistent. First the chess set then the statues. Perhaps if they made some sort of 'you take one, i'll take the other' deal it would work out. But Dash didn't do that.

No. Absolutely not. Ivy was not letting anyone else have these. So when that handsome silly Everett man bid again, Ivy just sighed and shook her head before bidding again. "I can do this all day," she muttered to herself.

Nikolai found the little sculptures fascinating, but only by seeing them through Cassandra's eyes, which was slightly disconcerting. It had been over a decade, yet he discovered he was still crushing on the student healer she had been when they had first met.

"They're interesting," he transferred the paddle to his left hand and picked up a pen to write down his bid, "I'm sure I wouldn't mind having a closer look at the mechanics."

Bidding in increases of 10 galleons was bloody tedious.

Cassandra was actually having fun. Which was odd. She hadn't had actual fun since her time in the south of France.

Nik hoped so too, as it seemed that Cassandra was quite interested in the items. He wasn't fool enough to pretend that he was above buying affection. And for some reason, he was trying.

"Actually..." he trailed off, tearing his eyes away from another table to flash a smile at Cassandra, "I see something I want."

He offered his arm yet again. Table 15 was his next stop, and he'd be damned if he didn't install those windows in his house by the coming weekend.

The bidding is getting higher but then again, Jonathan came to this table for THIS specific stuff. So yes, he is willing to bet for as long as he can until he wins the 5 sculptures.

Okay, okay. After stopping and fiddling with the other items on the numerous tables, Beezus finally arrived to where she so wanted to be when the announcement for the Silent Auctions were made. She wanted those, no doubt. Not all of the iterms though, only the winged horse and raven. But she couldn't bid only on those two, now could she?

What's more, when she approached the parchment she felt as though her heart had broke into millions of pieces. She didn't have the money to surpass the bids those selfish adults placed in. Guess she'd just have to give up before she even had her chance to fill in.

Bottom lip wobbling, she was about to turn and leave that table when she saw the most recent bidder on the parchment. O.O Jonathan Kim? HER FAKE BROTHER WAS THERE?!

Beezus quickly pivoted on the spot and then she saw him. *MELLOW* He'd been there all along? And she didn't notice? How.....?! Ugh. Maybe because she was too engrossed with her depression over not winning the auctioned items on this table.

"JONATHAAAAN!" Oh, yes. The Ravenclaw lurched towards the former Slytherin as she flung her arms around him. She miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissed him!

Jonathan placed his bid on the table again and well stood on one corner nearby until someone in this room Scabior will bid higher on the sculptures. Could he just have this one, please? He can't go back to Romania empty handed and besides these sculptures are really cool. He still remembers how awesome they were back then when Professor Romanos showed it them for the first time.

Then he was surprised by the scream of his name. Jonathan has been on the down low ever since he came here. No reason as to why he is but he just did. Odd... His head glanced to see who the voice was and it was none other than Beezus. He smirked at the Ravenclaw as she suddenly decided to tackle him. "Beezus" he said in his most gleeful tone. "You look well" cue pat on the head. Yes, old habits die hard, Castell. It's about time you accept that fact. "I hope you're not bidding for the 5 sculptures." he eyed her.

The person she used to banter with terms ago was the one making her smile a lot today, despite the sinking feeling she had on her stomach because of some things? Heh. She couldn't help but chuckle softly when he patted her head. Yeah. Just like old times. He wouldn't be hearing any complains from her about that though, just because she missed him a lot. Jonathan's eyes blinked for awhile "No snotty remark for the head patting?" he chuckled. It was usually the common reaction he gets from people. Daichi, used to with Beezus and even Louisa. An in college, you don't just pat someone's head, nope, people may label you as the weird guy. Jonathan however, misses the patting of the head and the incoming snotty remarks after that. Sometimes, the violent reaction that comes after the comment.

I want them terribly though. But I'm too poor for them. plus the pouty puppy dog face. Jonathan shrugged as his eyes narrowed towards Beezus. Then his face went nearer to hers "You're not Beezus!" cue more eyeing. Beezus would never wear that puppy pouty face. NO. The thing happening right now is just weird. But then she did mentioned about being low on cash. So that's why she's acting all cute around him and complimenting him. Jonathan smirked as he cocked an eyebrow "And so that's my problem, becauuuussseee?????" he teased Beezus.

When his face went near hers, Beezus had to fight back a snort. He was testing her! ...She was not going to fail. She'd stick by her mission and be cute. Eww. Even inside her mind, those words sounded icky. Anyway, "What are you saying, Jonathan? Pssh!" She poked his nose and chuckled. He was eyeing her. That meant more cuteness was needed. UGGGGHHHHH.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? He leaves for a year and a half, comes back and Beezus suddenly gets all weird and acts cute? Is this because she has a boyfriend? Yeah, that must be it. Most tough girls tends to become to have a cute side when they finally have a boyfriend. Still, this is seriously weird and odd. What happened to the eye rolling or the irritated voice? Jonathan gasped as he could not believe it in his eyes that this Beezus is different from the one he knew. But of course, Jonathan wouldn't act all suspicious about it if it weren't for the sculptures. Yeah, the whole thing that she's doing right now is weird but as for the reason as to why she was doing such thing, is an even hilarious attempt. Jonathan should just play along right? Maybe just a little more.

"what's my trade if I buy you those?" or you know, just give her the sculpture she likes because no way Jonathan is giving her all five of it.

As Messer walked passed table 17, he saw five beautiful animated sculptures. Oh Merlin. He must have those things. But the current bid was on 180 galleons. Hmm. He could always borrow Basti money, right? His uncle said so.
