The prefects have their own compartment at the front of the train. Sometimes they hold meetings up here and sometimes special guests ride along with them.
Prefects only, please, unless you have been invited in or need assistance!
Oh yeah, Selina knew this baby well because she was, well, old now. This would be her SEVENTH year riding to Hogwarts. Ugh, she now suddenly felt the urge to drink prune juice and retire on the French Riviera. The redhead was not old though, she was just cultured like the old prunes in her prune juice. And besides she had more pressing matters to attend to then just the whole aging problem- she had this silly badge on her chest. This badge was designed for serious, upstanding Hogwartians. Not people who cared around a bat, who was the most BEAUTIFUL BAT IN THE WHOLE WORLD, and had a SLIGHT crazy streak in them. Head Girl was a big deal and Selina was, honestly, terrified.
It was stretching out to a whole new world that she did not know anything about. When it came to interacting with the nutters on the Pitch, she was a-okay. Just scream and stomp a bit and everyone was on the same page. But this badge meant that she had to show self-restraint, which if anyone had ever seen her at the Gryffindor table during dinner knew was an impossible task. She had to be patient and remember to treat all people fairly and nicely and stuff. EVEN the ones she wanted to just yell at for doing silly stuff. Mostly her ickle lions.
What if she couldn't handle it? WHAT IF SHE DISAPPOINTED EVERYONE? And she had none of Kurumi's cookies this term to keep her calm. Except for the one loan tin of cookies that Kurumi had given Selina to put on each of the houses' tables during the feast. Her best friend had sent her off with some cookies, like she had ALWAYS put on the tables herself when she was a student, to wish everyone a good year. Good, ol' Kurumi. Yeah, she wasn't going to be with her anymore...
Life was funny and sad that way.
So the seventh year slumped in her seat and tried to stop her foot from incessantly tapping from the nerves. What was routine at in this compartment. Usually Selina just was her normal, weird self. Did she need to do anything special? MAYBE SHAKE SOMEONE'S HAND? No... that was stretching it.

Meh.
Why did they have to wear the badge again?
Because, honestly, Alice was scared of wearing it. Pinning it to her clothing meant she was in a position of authority, and anyone who knew her also knew that she should not be placed there. She would much rather be Selina's ickle Beater and go around threatening to whack stuff that looked fun to hit. Her word had never mattered to a single person, except Melanie, before she had gotten a badge. Now, whenever something slipped out of her mouth, it was almost law. As it should be. The word of a Queen was ALWAYS law.
It just shouldn't have taken a silly badge to make people realize it.
But when little Alice Fischer dragged her beautiful bat into the Prefect's Compartment, there was a Quidditch Captain badge pinned to her shirt. She was pretty sure she had to be wearing it to even be allowed entrance into this place. PFFT. Yeah, right. She had sneaked in here every time she was on the Express. Maybe being a Student Leader just made her want to follow the rules?
Eh. Whatever. She was still all prepared to mope around the compartment, whacking the seats and the floorboards, until she caught sight of the HEAD GIRL that was waiting inside. "MAMA SELINA." The girl rushed over to her and tossed herself at the redhead, wrapping her arms around her neck, bat and all. "I've MISSED you."
She had.

Yawning, Nessie made her way through the train towards the prefects compartment. She was tired and if there was one thing she hadn't managed to do during the holiday, was rest. In her hands she carried her luggage and owl, Aya. Perched up on her shoulder was her pet pygmy puff, Pufles and on her back was a bag filled with goodies to snack on during the ride.
Checking that her badge was pinned on her short, Ness entered the compartment and looked at it's two inhabitants that appeared to be squishing each other into pieces. Cute. The red head let out a small giggle and then began walking over to a seat, only to pause when an idea popped in her head.
Smirk. They hadn't heard her had they? She hopped not, because then it would ruin her idea completely.
Slowly she took quiet steps towards Selina and Alice and then pulling a scary face went. "BOOOOOO!!!" She said as loudly as she could. She then took her seat giggling.

Never, in all the five years going to his sixth had Daichi thought he would be riding the train in the Prefects Compartment. But now he was here, standing in front of the sliding door with one of his bags over his shoulders with Mr.Duckles his plush duck inside. He stood there for a moment to register that this WAS actually happening and that it wasn't just a dream. Unconciously , the Slytherin pinched himself on his arm and let out a pained yelp when it hurt. Yep, no dream.
Feeling nervous, Daichi took a deep breath and slided open the compartment door. Looking inside, he saw that he wasn't the first one when his eyes landed on three girls, one of them saying boo for some reason . Probably trying to scare the others. The boyish sixth year stood there in the opening and cleared his throat. Why was he so nervous now?! He usually was the life of the party! Maybe it was because he was with other school leaders which made him feel..intimidated even though he was one as well.
"U-uhm...hello" he greeted the people inside the compartment and smiled rather nervously. "Uh..can i sit here?" he asked and pointed to an empty seat.
Spike had a smile on his face as he reached the Prefects' Compartment. He was glad to have seen Prof V, if only for a short while on the platform. It gave him hope that the coming year wouldn't be as bad as it looked set up to be.
Of course, Spike wasn't planning to stay in the compartment long. He never did, if he could help it. He'd barely been in there at all on the way to Hogwarts last term, having got waylaid on the way there. Good job he'd never had to explain to the Headmistress or Board of Governors why. And this term, well, he'd go on patrol just to go see his friends. And try to not dwell on the fact that most of his favourite people weren't there to join him.
Indy. Max. Louisa. Kurumi. Vivi. Prof V.
Siiiiigh. This year, he HAD to write people.
"Hey all," he said, dumping his bag near the window. One advantage of being a seventh year - he now felt like he belonged here, that he'd grown into his position. "Good summer?"
To anyone who wants to pick him (I was about to type 2NE1 lol xD)

So, this is the prefect compartment?
That was.. weird. Gary couldn't believe he could be here right now. Nah, he wasn't sneaking out or something (because he wasn't a stalker person, huh.) But he was here because.. This year he became the Head Boy. Yeah, just see the badge pinned on his jacket. The blonde guy knew that this place was so.. exclusive. He didn't live being an exclusive person, but now.. Yeah, he couldn't refuse. Being head boy somehow wasn't his thing honestly.
Stepping inside, he noticed around. He didn't know people here except.. the Hufflepuff captain and also.. Daichi right? the Slytherin boy that he ever met before, so he's the Slytherin male prefect right? At least he could see the familiar face here.
Hey, what did you need to wait, Gerald? Greet them! Say hello and be (slightly) friendly to them. Clearing his throat, he greeted people around there. "Hello.... everyone." Somehow he felt.. weird. Yeah, maybe because he seemed not too friendly. At least you had tried, Gerald. Then the blonde guy saw a vacant seat and sit there. Seriously he didn't know what to do here.

Not knowing what to do in an compartment with people he basically didn't know, Daichi began to look around while playing with the zipper of his backpack. He wanted to take his plushed animal out but he was afraid that they would laugh at him so he let it in his bag.
With a sigh, the Slytherin Prefect said hi to Spike whom he knew as Indy's brother when he entered the compartment and even waved his hand a little before he lowered it again. They didn't really know each other anyways. Plus, the thought of Indy was too difficult right now. Now that she had left school , left him , to go to that French school...
With a slight blush on his cheeks, Daichi looked up when the door opened up again. And this time he smiled brightly as he saw Gary coming in. Wait, if Gary entered the compartment...and he himself was the Slytherin Prefect...does that mean... Daichi's dark brown eyes looked at the Head Boy badge pinned on his jacket. "Gary~! congrats on Head Boy! We're going to be an AWESOME team!" Now..who was the female Prefect? was it still Sierra or not?
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
Merlin it was good to be off the Platform and into the train, he loved his GeeGee very much, but she spent way to much time fixing him up and making him look presentable. Each time she turned away he loosened his tie, but each time she would notice and eventually just stuck it in place with a flick of her wand.
He neared the compartment he passed by so many times, as he slide open the door he looked around. There was Renesmee his captain attempting to scare some Gryffindor Leaders, Selina and another girl who was probably the new Prefect since Kurumi left. He smiled to her, and saw Daichi. How neat, Daichi got prefected too? This Term may not be so bad now. He ajusted the badge on his shirt and spit shined it a little. "Hi All." He said rolling up his shirt sleeves and stufing his hands into his jeans pockets.
As he entered though he heard a loud thud, and a surprised screech from above his head! Oh Geeze, Valentine was still sitting up on his head!?!?!? How could he have forgotten about his owl! "Uuuuuuuuh"
Oakey shut the compartment door blocking him off from the rest of group and leaving him only with his easily angered owl.
...
after about a minute Oakey reopened the door with Valentine sitting nicely atop his head holding a toy mouse in his beak. Oakey on the other hand had a cuts, and scratches on his hands and and face. "Hi All." He repeated himself and moved into the compartment grabbing a seat by himself.
Belle made it to the prefects compartment. She was happy to be a prefect for her last year at hogwarts. She could not believe this was her last year. Belle noticed familiar faces and nodded to them. She saw the hufflepuff quidditch captain. Belle waved to her. Then she noticed the new prefect of their house. She did not know his name but made a mental note to get that later. Belle looked at her badge, this was the last time she would wear it.
She was also wondering how her seventh year was going to turn out.
Sardines ♥ BHB ♥ Dallie ♥ Grumpy ♥ MY SUN AND STARS ♥ i love julia
Milton felt old. It was weird. He was standing in the doorway of the compartment and noticing that almost everyone in there was younger than him. It was... weird. Especially Alice. Wasn't she still seven years old? WEIRD.
Stepping inside, Milton quietly weaved through prefects and fellow quidditch captains until he made it to the window seat. There he sat, slumped, and hid under his jacket. Once everyone was settled and the train was moving, he was going to find Anya and take a nap and not talk to anyone.
...So, what was the point of the prefects compartment, anyway? Jake had been pretty sure it was just to make the other students wonder what it was for. But now that he was supposed to be in it... he had no idea what to do.
He walked in slowly, first peeking his head in and looking around. He instantly saw quite a few people that he knew by name, but not anything else. And Selina. And Ali. And... yup. Milton. The real reason Jake didn't want to be in here. If he had to spend the whole train ride in the presence of the Ravenclaw Captain Jake was pretty sure he'd lose it.
Realizing he was just kind of standing awkwardly in the doorway, Jake gave a half-wave of his free hand and sat in the nearest seat to him. No words. He'd just... watch people. And wait for a moment when he could sneak away and find Anya.
Selina was in the midst of contemplating the prospects of failure when suddenly she was attacked by a person. A brunette person. Her blue eyes shot open and she reached for Mortimer to attack her attacker. She was NOT playing around. NO ONE ATTACKED HER AND LIVED TO TELL THE- Oh it was Ailce. Well then, that was okay.
The seventh year smiled at the nickname and wrapped her own set of arms around the younger girl and her bat clunked against the new Gryffindor Captain's bat, whose name was similar to her own. She chuckled a little at the bat contact and placed her bat to the side before she resumed hugging her ickle who was now all grown up. Well, at least to the outside world. Selina was still going to baby her like she had NO other alternative because she LOVED her ickles and it was her duty to protect them and make anyone who hurt them sorry. Like hospital wing sorry.
"Hello, sweety." She beamed back at Alice, then she let her go and pat her lap for the young girl to sit on if she wanted. BECAUSE she was a good Mommy and loved her ickles. She would have another knee for Jake too when he got here if he wanted it.
And then someone suddenly snuck up on them and yelled boo. It was not a good idea to EVER do that to Selina. Her way of life was to react first and apologize later, which was what she would be doing! Out of fear and impulse she turned around and smacked the person who snuck up on them... HARD. Her eyes widened when she realized she had just hit Nessie, "OH MY GOD! NESSIE I AM SO SORRY!" That was not a Head Girl thing to do... she SMACKED her...
And then a ton of people loaded into the compartment. She was too busy apologizing to Nessie CONSTANTLY to even look up at the other people. When they all loaded in though, she looked up and saw Spike and Daichi and Gary and Oakey and Belle and Milton and OH JAKE! OH SHE HAD A KNEE FOR HIM TO SIT ON LIKE A BABY ONCE SHE WAS DONE FEELING REALLY BAD ABOUT SMACKING NESSIE! She wanted to tell her ickle prefect that she could buy bottles for warm milk for him and Alice if they wanted them... but that seemed a bit too much.
...unless of course she got them monogrammed. Huh. She would look into that.
Dani's Citrus Duck Spawn | Mama Giraffe | Lemon PATch | Pushed the Red Button
Selina was a bit taller than her, so Alice had a nice view from inside her arms. She saw Nessie sneak up on them and scream. She also saw Mama Selina smack her across the face which was kind of entertaining and noticed Kurumi's duck friend— wasn't his name Deechee or something?— enter the compartment. From her little spot in the Head Girl's arms, she waved to the duck boy and the next kid to enter, one with dark, curly hair, who Alice recalled had a spider named Matilda. And then there was the Head Boy, Oaktree, and the other Hufflepuff female Prefect, who all got a wave from her. Then came Milton. The lioness beamed and waved at him, as well, since she was in a happy mood today. And then Jake appeared, who received a fishface along with his complimentary wave.
Since when was she so happy? No idea.
After she finished greeting everyone, Selina set her back down, and Alice crawled into her lap. It wasn't like she had to act professional now that she was a badge holder, right? She would gladly reside in her Mama's lap, thanks. And so she sat, STARING at everyone from the Head Girl's lap and swinging her bat in front of Selina's knees. Today was a HAPPY day.

Seventh year.
...her final year! *BEAM*
Sierra, unlike most others she knew, was actually ready to graduate. Honestly? Who wanted to live at the school forever? Well, maybe the Ravenclaws, and the Puffers, too. Not her, though! She planned to spend all school year getting ready for the Quidditch scouts, because who cared about Ancient Runes and Arithmancy when what you really wanted to do when you graduated was smack bludgers around?
Heh.
Sliding open the door to the prefects' compartment, Sierra immediately noticed one striking difference. There was no Kurumi Hollingberry inside. Oh...darn. *insert evil smirk* Sierra was going to ruuuuuule the school. "What's up?" she said, making a sweeping glance around the compartment. She gave a Daichi a longer glance and then a smile. "Welcome to the snake leaders team," she said to him.
❄Suaviter in modo, fortiter in re❄| ⚕=equivalent exchange=⚕ | pinned ya!
SIGH.
She was finally a fifth year. Long before, she was ecstatic to reach this stage, but right now, she wasn't sure if she was prepared enough for it. It was going to be such a hectic year with more classes, Prefect duties, Quidditch practices (if she made it through the tryouts), and OWLs...Ugh...the dreadful OWLs. Survival just appeared blurred as of the moment.
Meh.
The Ravenclaw immediately shook off the thoughts when she arrived in front of the door that lead to the Prefect's Compartment.
After hurriedly pinning her Prefect badge to her blouse, Beezus slid the compartment door open and stepped inside. Once in, she momentarily froze. BLINK. BLINK. Almost all student leaders were already there. Were they having some sort of Before Start of the Term Meeting? Was she late?
Errr...."Hey guys!" The brunette said, smiling at her peers. As it looked like there wasn't anything important going on, she went on ahead and scuttled off to where her fellow eagles were....near the window.
"Peacock," Beezus patted Milton's leg before she descended on the seat next to Spike. "Jobberknoll." She acknowledged as she slightly nudged her co-Prefect with her elbow. She owed him.
A fifth year now, a prefect nevertheless, Ira arrived in front of the prefects' compartment, a huge silly grin plastered on her face. Well, she just couldn't stop stop grinning. And didn't see down...
.. her foot tripped on something. So, awkwardly she stumbled into the prefects' compartment, holding on to the side railing to keep from not falling. But her shoe slipped, and her knee landed with a Thud, her face wincing in pain. Seriously? This wasn't how she had imagined her first time entering the prefects' compartment would be. She certainly hadn't planned on half falling. "Aaah!" she softly exclaimed, and got up quickly enough, hoping others hadn't noticed her just yet.
Flushing brightly, she waved hi to all in the compartment. "Hey guys!"
Spike gave a quick glance out of the window at the platform, before turning back to the others in the compartment. It was then he noticed the new Slytherin Prefect - Daichi. Spike gave a smile to his sister's boyfriend, and returned the younger boy's greeting before rummaging in his bag. "Indy said to give you this," he said, passing over a letter and parcel. He gave a slightly awkward smile, realising that he barely knew the boy. He should fix that this year - meet more people.
"She's really going to miss you this year..." he added softly. "I'm sure you'll owl her and stuff, but if you ever need me to pass something on..." As long as it wasn't kisses. Spike drew a line at those.
As Milton entered, Spike shuffled round a little. He had made a big decision over the summer, and he wasn't sure quite how the Ravenclaw Captain would take it. Possibly badly, given that he'd already lost Max and Vivi last term. However, last term Spike had learnt sometimes he needed to do stuff himself, and after speaking about it with his sister, he was pretty much decided. His career aspirations needed to come first.
Spike might have turned away from Milton, but he saw the wave from the younger Gryffie...Alice was her name, right? Was she the new Gryffie Prefect? Spike gave a crooked grin and waved back. "Welcome!" he said.
Why was everyone else looking so awkward? Did they think the returners to the compartment were going to bite?
Spike didn't bite. Often.
And then his Ravenclaw co-Prefect arrived. Spike bit his lip, and his eyebrows furrowed into the slightest frown. Despite her letter, he didn't really know what to feel about her presence in the compartment. He'd been bitterly disappointed that she'd cancelled their ice-cream date, and not even given him a reason.
He'd had some guesses, though. And it hadn't made him feel much better. It was a good job he'd had work to concentrate on.
His expression softened as she greeted him, however. "Nightingale," he said softly, scooting up and putting his bag on the floor to make sure she had enough space. "Good summer?"
❄Suaviter in modo, fortiter in re❄| ⚕=equivalent exchange=⚕ | pinned ya!
While the brunette had been waiting for responses from her fellow 'Claws, the new Gryffindor Female Prefect who also happened to be one of her long time friends, Ira came in. Beezus waved at her and grinned widely, completely oblivious to the girl's series of unfortunate events just a while ago. Although, she did wonder briefly while Ira's face was tinged pink.
Upon hearing Spike's voice beside her, she promptly turned her head towards his direction and eyed him for a few moments. He was asking if she had a good summer.
Meh.
Sighing, she rapped her forehead against his shoulder before averting her gaze to their other companions inside the compartment. "I know you're mad at me." She began, not looking at him. She terribly owed him an apology for bailing out on their 'date'. "And I'm sorry." The Prefect knew that it wasn't enough just to say the words. But as of now, that was all she could do.
He dropped his head as she looked away, and twiddled his thumbs in his lap. At her words, he took a breath, and let it out slowly.
"Disappointed, more like," he said, lifting his chin. He wasn't mad - if she had a change of plans, that was fine. But it would have been nice for her to tell him why - something along the lines of 'I'm staying with my aunt longer than originally planned' would be fine. But no, she'd chosen to leave him in the dark. And that couldn't help but make him feel like she was betraying him. He didn't want to feel that way, and didn't know why given she was only a friend and nothing more, but he did.
"Apology accepted," he said, slightly more stiffly than usual - more than even Spike expected his voice to sound. "You going to tell me why?"
❄Suaviter in modo, fortiter in re❄| ⚕=equivalent exchange=⚕ | pinned ya!
Disappointed. Ugh. That word stung. She didn't want to disappoint anyone, particularly Spike. He was one person she truly cared a lot about. And that directly coming from him, well...it only accentuated the realization she made about herself throughout the whole summer - that she was verily the worst.
She knew that already but if her stupidity was going to mess with the responsibility she was holding now, she would be more than willing to ask Blue, or Travis, or Elise or anyone else who can dance with a bat even Selina to knock a bludger to her head so she'd have some sense. She had to act and think accordingly now with the new badge stuck with her.
"I did not mean to disappoint you." Really. It wasn't in her plans. She nodded and looked back at him when he said her apology was accepted. At least that came through.
"Err..." Beezus bit her lip as she contemplated on how to properly explain the reason why she had to cancel their plans. "..I...kind of..tagged along with a friend in this European tour thing." Was he going to ask further details? Eh.
epic post is EPIC XD try to respond to everyone.. I think.

The first person who recognize himself was of course Daichi since they belonged to the same house. He smiled to the Slytherin male prefect. "Thanks, Daichi." he said. "Also welcome to the team. How's summer?" So typical way how to start a conversation. At least he had tried, okay? Gerald Rush wasn't a very good conversationalist, I told ya. But that's better than he kept silent all the journey to Hogwarts.
More and more and more Prefects and Captain came!
His blue eyes spotted the Hufflepuff male and female prefect (Oakey and Belle) and also the Gryffindor male prefect (Jake). The blonde guy just smiled to them since he didn't know their name. He also saw Sierra, the female prefect of Slytherin. "Sierra." he greeted her.
O__________________O
Did he just see a Head Girl smacked a captain? Really? He couldn't believe what he just saw. My goodness. A Silent Head Boy with scary this Head Girl? Imagine what would be happened with Hogwarts for a year? Seriously, he didn't have any idea about that.
Gary watched another prefect came. Beatrice? Yeah, how could he didn't remember that girl? Who did force him to kiss Juliet at the previous New Year event. So, she's the new prefect for Ravenclaw right? Again, he just smiled to her since she seemed had a serious conversation with the Ravenclaw male prefect. The last person who entered was a girl, seemed like she's the female prefect for Gryffindor who fell down suddenly. "You okay?" suddenly he asked.
Seemed like all of the Prefects and Captain were already here except.. Dylan. Yeah, the Slytherin captain. Now, what should they do next? He currently didn't have any idea about this..

Looking outside of the window to watch the passing by landscape, Daichi's head turned almost automatically to the door side when he heard it slide open again. This time he grinned upon seeing Oakey with a cute owl on his head. He waved at the Hufflepuff enthusiastically but then frowned and lowered his hand when the guy stepped away from the compartment. Because everyone else was overlapping the sounds coming from outside of the room with their voices, Daichi could not hear what was happening but he vagualy saw the shadow of Oakey and his owl in some kind of battle.
When Oakey re-entered the compartment, Daichi grinned as the owl was now neatly on top of his head with a toy. The grin faded though when the Slytherin took note of the cuts and scratches all over the guys hands and even on his face. "O-oakey!" he exclaimed as he watched with an open mouth how he sat down as if nothing was wrong. "Are you okay? You have scratches all over!" Hmmm, he wanted to help, but truthfully he did not know any cut healing spells. Plus, he was afraid to blow him up anyways if he tried hehe.

He didn't know why but the sudden thought of the schools yearbook flashed through his mind when he remembered he and Sierra had been voted most likely to blow something up. The thought made him chuckle softly as he brought a fist to his mouth to cover it up. And THEY were going to rule the school? Slytherin House? He already had pity with those poor first years.

And then Spike spoke, forcing him to shift his gaze to look at him. He watched as Indy's brother began to rummage in his bag and then take something out. Surprised, Daichi took the letter and the parcel from him and looked at it. Was Spike giving him a present? Why? they hardly knew each other? But then he heard that it was from his girlfriend and Daichi sighed with a small smile on his face. His dark chocolate brown eyes looked sad though as he thanked the Prefect.
"I am too" he answered back and lazily looked outside of the window for a second, wondering where Indy was right now and if she was alright. He hoped that she hated the French school she was going to so that she came back next year. 'Cause his friend Juliet was originally from that school too and she had left to go to Hogwarts so, maybe? "I...i can't possibly bother you with things like that" he spoke slowly "But i'll keep it in mind, thanks"

But that's better than he kept silent all the journey to Hogwarts.
With the parcel and letter on his lap, Daichi decided to open and read it when he in the dormitory at school. It was a private package and he didn't want people to ask questions so he opened his bag to place both of the things inside. The letter was easy but the parcel was a little problem. His bag was already full with everything he could push in so he was kind of forced to take something out instead. That something was Mr.Duckles, his plushed duck and as he did so his cheeks flushed a deep shade of red as he tried to hide it from the other school leaders and he quickly placed Indy's parcel inside.
He was startled when he heard his name and looked up at Gary with wide eyes, thinking he had seen Mr.Duckles. "T-thanks" the sixth year stuttered and closed his bag. His summer? "Oh, uhm..it was pretty good, did nothing special" Nope nothing special. Getting Prefected, father taking him out for a rare dinner party, his girlfriend leaving school and saying goodbye to Kurumi. Nope, nothing special at all.... "What about you?"

Belle looked at her badge, this was the last time she would wear it.
She was also wondering how her seventh year was going to turn out.
This time, Daichi's eyes landed on a Hufflepuff he did not know the name of. He knew the others even if it was only by name from having heard it from friends but this girl he didn't know. He knew that she had been a Prefect last year as well but he simply never had the chance to know her.
With a smile, Daichi leaned forward in the seat until he was at the end of it and held out his hand. "Hiya~! I'm Daichi" there, he had introduced himself, the good little Prefect that he was hehe.
Eh.
Spike shrugged, and turned his head to look at her. "I was looking forward to it..." he said quietly. He'd even sorted changing shifts at work if necessary to accommodate when she might be around. Of course he was disappointed. After all they'd been through, it'd been the promise of that icecream that had shown their friendship was there and true.
He twiddled with his thumbs in his lap again, as she tried to explain what she'd been up to instead. Travelling around Europe? Whoa! "But that sounds really exciting..." Why wouldn't she tell him about it? Send him a postcard even to say how much fun she was having, and that she was sorry she wasn't there for icecream with her?
He stopped abruptly as it hit him. He could only think of one reason she wouldn't have told him of her new trip plans. "This companion..." he said slowly. "It'd be Dylan, right?"
He wasn't mad. Even now. He just didn't understand why she couldn't tell him the truth. Did she still believe that it would hurt him...her and Dylan?

"And me," Spike said softly. He'd never totally admit it to her, but Spike was really going to miss having his sister around this year. She'd helped him realise so much last year, and it just wouldn't be the same without her. "She'll be back at Christmas," the Prefect added. "She promised. I'm sure you'll be welcome to visit."
Daichi couldn't bother him? Was he that scary an older brother? Spike couldn't help but chuckle as his lips curled upwards into a smile. "I just offered, and that still stands," he said gently. "And I promise not to peek at anything..."

Oooooh, snap. Guess who's back?
For it to be time for school to let back in, Dylan was in an incredibly good mood. One might even describe it as exuberant. Very out of character for the usually moody Slytherin boy...but he felt ready and prepared for the new term.
Ahem.
Off to the Prefect Compartment for him...and then he'd socialize...Maybe find his teammates, have a laugh with them. Get food...Yea, PLANS. He had plans...
Pulling open the compartment door, he noticed that he was the last to arrive. Well, he really didn't care one bit. He could make more of an entrance this way...and Dylan did love making entrances. Also, he wouldn't have to keep saying 'Hello'...He could say it once and then settle in a seat, talk to Skylar...Grin at Bee some. He'd probably smirk at Spook and Mildew, just cause...
Oh, definitely winks for Sierra...
"Hello, beautiful people." Grins, smirks, winks for the room.
