Presley was confused. "Like to live there forever?" Awar had told her at the wedding that they were planning on staying the rest of the summer in Valencia, but this sounded really...permanent. "Come stay with me and father in Geneva whenever you'd like," she offered. She knew that Awar liked Spain, but it was nice to have somewhere else to go.

The sixteen year old nodded. "It always does." She took a bite of her egg. "So, what are you up to today?"

Awar nodded, "She told me the day that we were suppose to come back to England that she was going to stay in Spain and asked me to stay." She smiled at her cousin warmingly, "Thank you, but Manolo said he'd stay in England with me, so I wouldn't leave school."

"Hmm...I don't know. I don't know if I feel like going to any classes today. I feel a bit...sick." She drank her orange juice.

Presley laughed. "I wasn't suggesting you stay to avoid leaving school. Besides, Geneva is in Switzerland." How could the twelve year old not know that after years of visits?

The moment the s-word escaped Awar's mouth Presley instantly turned into her own mother. She felt her cousins forehead. "Sick how?" she asked. "Like you feel like you could get better after a nap, or you need medical attention?" Presley was planning to study to be a healer after Hogwarts after all.

Awar blinked, mentally slapping herself for not remembering where she's been as a young child. Her head was not in the right place. She had been fine all summer with Manolo, but now the fact that her mother had left was starting to hit her. "Right...sorry. I knew that." He chuckled slightly.

Awar lowered her cousin's hand from her forehead, "No, no. A nap is just fine. Maybe just ate too much or something."

Dylan snuck into the Great Hall quickly before Laura to prepare for his comeback on her for her 'girly ghost' act she pulled on him! He didnt want to get into too much trouble so this was more a tiny baby prank, nothing too serious or elaborate. Just to teach her a little lesson, he brought along with him a wooden chair that he had tampered with. All four legs had been cut into a bit so that it was unstable, he covered it with a nice cloth so that the legs could not be seen. Below the chair he put a whoopee cushion and on top of that a stink bomb that he had bought over the summer.. making sure the chair, cushion and bomb were level.. he wait for Laura to enter the great hall. He knew she would cause she had to eat some time.. and he had all day to wait for her. So he sat down at the puff table with the chair nearby and kept an eye out for Laura.

Presley was still concerned. Whatever the girl said she was going to worry. Twelve year olds didn't know what was best for themselves. "Okay," she conceded. "I have to get to class, but promise me that if you start to feel even a little bit worse you'll head over to the hospital wing?" She stared Awar down. The kid was too self-sufficient for her own good, and Presley couldn't keep an eye on her all day. She could of course send people to check on the girl periodically, but that might get annoying.

Awar gave her cousin a reassuring smile, "I promise." The least thing she wanted was her cousin to worry. She stood up and hugged her loving cousin tightly. "Now, you go and get smarter!" She laughed, playfully nudging her arm.

It was a great morning indeed, as Wade sat down taking a bit of orange juice into his goblet before eating a small scone. The sweetness beneath the slighty crunchiness was the best, making his breakfast wonderful.. He was going to have an eventful day coming up, whether he was ready or not.

*So far it had been a very good morning. Jacen was up in time breakfast. Most of the time he slept until five minutes after his first class. But not today, nope Jacen Tillstorm was very awake. He had even gotten a date for the upcoming trip to Hogsmeade. Well he was pretty sure she had said yes. As far as he knew a good snog meant yes.
Walking over to his house table he filled up his plate with eggs, and bacon. Almost no one was at the tables yet. Looking down at his watch Jacen saw that he still had a good 45 minutes before Charms class.*
"Maybe I'm getting ill..."
*He mumbled to himself. He never get up this early on his own. He'd go see the healer but would probably end up leaving with a real sickness. Like a Cece lecture...*

Healer Tillstorm entered the Great Hall planning on grabbing a quick bite to eat before heading to the infirmary. What she wasn't planning on was seeing a certain Puff sitting there eating.

Better stop and say hello.

"Good morning Jacen. You're up early today. What's the occasion?" Was the world coming to an end? As long as she had known this boy, which was his whole life, he never got up early for anything.

*With a mouth full of eggs Jacen sighed. He knew that voice. Cece was more like an annoying know it all older sister than a cousin to him. So he spent a good amount of time avoiding her. But she had found him, and he had no where to run. Oh well he thought. He should have known that only nerds (Ravenclaws) and staff were ever up at this hour. Finishing his mouth full of food with a big gulp he turned to her with a polite smile.*
"It's a Tuesday. Isn't that occasion enough?"

Oh someone was in a sarcastic mood this morning. "For normal people Tuesday would be occasion enough, but for you, no." Something was up with this boy and she was going to find out what it was.

Sitting down next to him she looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Spill it. What's got you getting up early enough not only to get to class on time, but to also have time to eat breakfast first?"

*What in Merlin's beard was she doing?! Nooo she did not just sit next to him! It was social suicide to be seen buddy buddy with professors or staff like this. Didn't she know this? Didn't she care about his reputation? Before he even fully formed the thought he already knew the answer. Thankfully no one was really up yet. So he just shrugged and told her the truth.*
"I don't know, I just woke up ready for the day I guess. I thought I might be coming down with something, but then I'd have to go see the healer."
*He said with a smirk as he turned back to his food.*

When was this boy going to learn he couldn't hide anything from Cece? "You just woke up ready for the day?" Yeah right he did. "So tell me, what's her name?"

That's right Jacen, cousin Cece can tell when there's a girl involved.

*Jacen didn't even bother to deny it. He just smirked and shrugged. He had been telling her the truth. It was true he woke up early and awake. He had not planned on seeing a girl or asking her out. It just so happened that he saw her, thought she was fit, and asked her out. She knew who he was right off. But Jacen couldn't remember ever seeing her before. Wait... He didn't even remember her name. Oh we'll no need telling Cece that.*
"Pfft like I'd tell you. I know that mum and you owl daily. Last thing I need is you lot pestering me about my choice of companion."

Lex lazily walked into the Great Hall, munching on a licorice wand as she did. It was time for breakfast and though she was only half awake she still needed her daily fill of candy. That was how it worked you know. She got her candy then she had her breakfast then she had more candy. This worked best when it was Saturdays like this one where she didn't have any classes she needed to be running off to. For today she could just relax.

She walked over to the Hufflepuff table and had a seat hoping she'd run into Lottie. The girl wasn't there but it was still kinda early so she figured the girl might have been back in her Common Room trying to wake up. Not very likely seeing as Lottie was super good at waking up early but whatever, she'd lie to herself and wait while helping herself to some muffins.

This is where the candy went on hold for food. It wouldn't take long.

Lex reached across the table and helped herself to a chocolate one and a blueberry one. Just as she was half way through the one made of chocolate she watched an owl swoop in and drop a ...red envelope in front of her. She made a face at it. Ew. Why couldn't it have been blue? Blue was a very prettiful colour you know. That wasn't the only thing that got her suspicious. Something about the look of the envelope was familiar...nothing she'd ever gotten but the description was like something she'd heard someone talking about. Oh. And another...regular envelope. Two letters before breakfast? Didn't people know she didn't like reading, especially before breakfast? This warranted a scowl.

Alright, let's see... She reached over and opened the first (red) one and suddenly everything got REALLY LOUD.



Blink. Blink.

Her father...he...he YELLED at her. HOW RUUUUDE. She would need to have a word with him about this. The indecency of it all! How dare he send her a howler! That's what it was, wasn't it? Not sure she could really hear anything anymore she reached over and peered curiously into the second envelope.



Yeah...after reading she realized something very important. The Healer would NOT be getting this letter. No way! She stuck it in her robe then tried getting back to her muffin. A howler; seriously! She would NOT stop eating candy. He wouldn't even have to know.

Cece rolled her eyes at her younger cousin. Yes, she rolled her eyes. "My dear little cousin, when are you going to learn I always find things out, even when you don't want me to." Meaning she would find out who this girl was that had caught the boys eye. "And for your information, your mum and I do not owl everyday." Maybe once a week but certainly not daily. "But would it kill you to owl her once in awhile?"

Before her cousin even had a chance to answer, Cece heard yelling. Looking around she seen just who was getting yelled at.



Spotting Alexa at the Hufflepuff table Cece gave her an odd look. Why was she eating alone at another house table? Oh never mind that. The girl was getting yelled at by a howler. That was the more important thing going on here right now.

Oh, and the howler mentioned the healer. Looks like someone's father got her letter. She sat there listening to what Alexa's father had to say to her. Just as she suspected. The girl's father had no idea just how bad her candy eating habits had gotten. Merlin! Cece hadn't even realized just how bad they were. Really, begging the grandparents for money, telling them her father wasn't giving her enough for school. No wonder the girl didn't want her father to know about the request she had made to the healer, who was again mentioned in the howler.

A letter for the healer, that Alexa decided was okay to read.

Unacceptable!

Turning back to Jacen she excused herself. "Excuse me Jacen, I'll be right back. I have something I need to take care of."

She got up from her seat just as Alexa was sticking HER letter in her robe pocket. "I'll take that," she said as she snatched the letter from her pocket. "You do realize that what you just did is against the law right." That was more of a statement than it was a question really. Who in their right mind didn't know that opening mail addressed to someone else was punishable by... well in this child's case, detention.

Right after she got rid of that candy there on the table.

Slipping her wand out of its holster she pointed it at the candy and vanished it. After all, she did hear Mr. Cambridge tell Alexa no more candy for the rest of the term.

There were no such things as howlers. There were no such things as howlers.

What she saw and HEARD just now was a figment of her very overactive imagination. Her father would never send one of those to her and he would never expect her to go the rest of the term without candy. THAT most certainly was NOT how things worked. It's a good thing the letter shredded itself before she had a chance to incendio it because she would have, she really would.

Ignoring the stares from everyone in the hall she tried starting on the second muffin when she heard the voice she least wanted to hear at the moment.

Slowly her eyes moved away from her plate and to Healer Tillstorm. There was no point in asking if she heard because everyone would have heard, EVERYONE. She blinked up at her. Take that? Take what? The letter that she wasn't planning to hand ove--HEY! That was stealing! You couldn't just go into someone's pocket and take their stuff! Even if it WAS hers to begin with. How rude. How very rude. "Against the law?" She asked, tilting her head just a bit. What was against the law was sending a howler to a 12 year old. Yup.

She waited on the woman to explain but her breath caught in her throat just seconds after. "Eeeeeeeek!!! My candy!!!" Give it back! It was HERS!

*Jacen listened to the howler and tried to not laugh. He really did feel bad for the kid but it was always funny when a howler came, as long as that howler wasn't for you. Jacen waved Cece off glad to be rid of her questions. Cece was like a blood hound when it came to figuring out his secrets.*
"Yeah I think you better go. Who knew you stealing my candy and cake as a kid was preparing you for this moment." *He smiled at his cousin with a smirk.*
