Astronomy. BEAM! Ella was a big fan of this particular class. The blonde cheerfully used the lint roller to de-lint herself before entering the classroom, a smile playing on her lips.

Stars! Lots and lots of stars. Ella smiled at the jars before looking up and smiling at the man standing near them. "Hello Professor, nice to see you!" BEAM! Then walking a bit closer and bending down, the badger located Little Treyen and whispered, "Hello there, little guy. You're looking particularly twinkly and yellow today. Be good during class, okay?" Little Treyen and his jar got a hug too before she set the jar back in place and took a seat in the middle of the semi circle.

Anya quickly lint rolled herself. And by that, she meant she rolled it along one arm and figured she was good. She'd just say the Professor was being weird if he actually noticed any lint on her.

Hehehe. And that sign. She was half tempted to just wait by the door to see Mo's expression.

Buttttttttt... she was seriously distracted when she caught sight of her ickle star Blakey.

"Hello Professor." she half greeted as she slung her coat that she was told to bring over her shoulder. The Professor obviously wasn't as important as her STAR.

"Hey Blaaaaake..." she cooed softly giving her star's jar a quick comforting rub. Lookatit. 'twas still alive and kicking! (Or whatever the star equivalent of that was.)

After staring at her star for nearly two minutes, she decided to go find a seat. And so she took one near the dead center of the semi-circle.

She then gave a small nod in greeting to Ella. Which, normally wouldn't happen. But some things you can't experience without being friendly to one another.

Still chuckling at the sign placed near the lint roller, Sky entered the Astronomy classroom (having used said lint roller) and immeadately went to check on her star jar. She didn't say anything to it, as talking to a star was weird, but she did check to make sure it was still actually a star. Though it would probably be noticed if it wasn't, since she was pretty sure stars turned black holes when they died. Anyway, once she was sure, she said "Hello, professor," before finding herself a seat in the semi circle of desks.

Eddie couldn't say she was particularly gifted in Astronomy but she enjoyed it, and did decently. In any case, she did better at it than she ever did at Potions of Transfiguration. There was a girl ahead of her and Ed paused to observe the classroom, waiting for her turn to use the lint roller. The set-up was interesting enough and she squinted at the covered frames, wondering if this had anything to do with talking portraits too. That would be a really weird coincidence.

The jars of star caught her attention next and it took a while to find her but Edistar was rather bright looking today--that or it was her obvious bias. She shot her star a wink for her flashy display before grabbing the lint roller. Her only pet was a rat and Muppet didn't do much shedding but there were kneazles (kitties) everywhere and sometimes she'd find herself with cat hair in her mouth of all places--not that she could use the lint roller there.

Happenstance placed the lint roller down and smiled at the Professor. "Hello Professor," she chimed. "They all look great lined up like that," she admitted with a wrinkled brow about the collective jars, glowing together. Ed turned and made her way to the far left to snag an empty seat before the class started filling in more.

Alyssa entered the classroom and immediately noticed the jars with stars glowing in them....and a lint roller!! Were they supposed to use that? Alyssa sighed reaching for it and obediently rolling it over her clothes even though she knew that she was lint free. Then she replaced the roller back where it lay, and quickly walked over to greet the Professor.

"Hello Professor, thanks for the loan of your lint roller and for taking care of our stars for us." Alyssa thanked the man before quickly walked over to the rows of jars and looking for hers.

When she found the bottle with the star's name written on the label, Alyssa smiled to see that it was still glowing yellow and bright "Hello Yvaine it is good to see that you are still doing good. I missed singing and taking care of you." Alyssa whispered to her star, gently stroking the side of the jar.

"I've gotta go now but I'll see you later." Alyssa told Yvaine before looked around. She noticed that the Professor had arranged the desks in a semi-circle. Walking over to one of the desks, Alyssa sat down, took out her writing materials and waited for class to start.

Astronomy was okay. Ezra hated they had to use spells for that assignment, but he still thought Astronomy was okay. There were worse things to spend his evening doing than talking about outer space.

Stars were cool. And so were planets.

Moons, too.

"Hiya, Professor Flamsteed." He grinned, and blinked twice and the brightness coming from all the stars. From his seat next to Happenstance, he thought he could make out Jefferson Arnold. Maybe.

It would be a great lie if November tried to convince anyone she was sad the long-term star project had come to an end. Not that she would tell you she had a connection or a bond with her star - she was pretty certain it was not that, really - but just that it had been rather fun. Though perhaps the fun was more because she was often checking on the star with Eddie and Ezra.

Things were always more fun with them around.

Unless one was going through tunnels, but those, November told herself, did not count.

After using the lint roller, she frowned down at herself, one part curious why the Professor was having them tidy themselves so (a guest speaker? someone of prestige who turned their nose up at ratty-looking students?) but mostly dismayed at how the lint roller left behind so many hairs.

Where did the hairs even come from? She didn't have a cat or a kneazle or anything with fur!

The frown still creased her brows as she took the seat beside Eddie, though not before admiring the stars. "It's like a tiny galaxy," she mused out loud. She couldn't be sure if she saw Cosmo - from here, the label looked rather familiar, but if she looked at too many stars, they all began to look familiar. She was just fairly certain hers was not a particularly red-looking star, and that, in the end, was what mattered.

HE GOT TO SEE HIS LITTLE STAR AGAIN!

... He was just a little excited.

Having de-linted himself, Alec stood there for a minute, grinning at the line of stars-in-jars that people had made. They all looked really awesome, actually. All yellow and... glowy. It again reminded him of the song he had sung to his own star as part of the assignment star-making business. Look at the staaaaaars......... look how they shine foooooooor you....... And everything you do........ Yeah, they were aaaaaall yellow!

Perfect song was perfect.

"Hello Professor!" he said, grinning at the man as he walked over towards the wooden table. He bent down and glanced at the tags, searching for his familiar scrawl. When he found it and the jar that contained his star, a wide grin spread across the guy's face. He gave the top of the jar an affectionate pat, feeling as though the two had some sort of weird... human-to-star connection. It was as if the star was his little puppy and he was the owner and the two had been separated for some time -- like a day or two -- and now they were meeting up again.

... Was that too much?

"Nice to see you doing so well, Becky. Keep it up!" ... Becky. Nickname? Or Becks? Straightening up, the Hufflepuff gave the Astro Man a nod and another smile before turning around and...

The desks looked different.

And he should sit next to... a certain blonde haired girl. "Hey Ells!" he whispered once he was within earshot of the girl. He sat down in his seat and started rummaging through his bag, taking out his things. His currently grey-blue eyes wandered up to the chalkboard at the front and he tilted his head, letting his bag drop to the floor. This was going to be... interesting.

Astronomy. Jake looked forward to this one. It had actually become his favorite class, since the first lesson and the star project... Plus, Flamsteed was... a reasonably alright professor. True, he was a nutter, but that made things interesting. AND he hadn't been eaten by a plant. So that was a perk, too. And probably something to be mildly proud of.

He used the lint roller on his clothes slowly, reading the sign outside the classroom. Not for use in hair. Right, Branxton. That was for you. Jake laughed lightly to himself and set the lint roller down.

Once inside the classroom, he waved at Airey. "Hey, Professor Flamsteed." He took a quick glance up at the stars, but decided he didn't want to find Twinkle in the mess of all those jars... so he just took a seat at a desk toward one end of the semi circle.

Oakey was suprised at how decent he was doing this year in Astronomy. He figured he'd have dropped the class after the first one, especially after what Professor Flamsteed put him through in the Fourty-Eight hours following the class. The well dressed professor made it up to him though. Hot chocolate and building Mechas. Well partially building mechas, Oakey was sure he had pieced together the one Flamsteed gave him wrong.

Anyways...Oakey moved over to the lint roller and rid himself of the lint he may, or may not have had on his uniform. Then walked over to his star. "Hi Gene Simmons" Oakey respectfully named his star, as he could not think of a name to give it until after playing the bass beside it for a while. After his quick hello to his star he grabbed a seat. "Hello Professor." oakey said as he pulled into his chair, and set his bag down beside him.

ASTRONOMY!!!

Lex bolted as fast as she could across the seventh floor corridor--because for once she had that class after a break which meant she was already in her Common Room instead of some unbelievably far distance away--the Professor was getting it. She liked that.

Anyway. The reason for her running was because she would get to see her baby today!!! The Professor said they'd be using the stars next class and he promised that Jeffery would be there too, so Jeffery had to be there with his friends, reunited and happy and...and hopefully not black anymore...? She dashed into the classroom and was immediately greeted by the sight of the stars on the table.

"Eeeeep!!! Jeffery!!!" She ran over to the black star and squished the jar in a hug. "Did you miss me?? I missed you so much. I mean, I know I got NOT Jeffery but I promise I loved you more--"

She stopped talking suddenly when she realized that NOT Jeffery was sitting in the jar right next to him.

Oh dear...

Slowly she lowered Jeffery. "I...this isn't what it looks like...I love you too, honest..." She took him up with her free hand and gave him an earnest look. "Don't go getting upset, kay...? These last few weeks we had together...they were really magical and I did grow to love you." She looked at them both, suddenly feeling really awkward.

"I love you both...?"

Rishi pushed himself toward the door, not at all willing to attend such a dreadfully boring class. Astronomy had never really been a interest of his and he wished it were a choice to attend, not a requirement. Nevertheless, he reached the doors of the classroom, spotting the lint roller nearby.

Ah, yes. Professor Flammyseed...Flammel Steeds...or whatever his ridiculous name required us to use this strange thing as well. While Rishi did like the idea of keeping himself clean and well-dressed, he found the lint roller to be quite difficult to use. The last time he had used it, he found himself using more than he probably should have as the roll kept unwrapping itself every time he rolled it on his clothes. He prayed it wouldn't happen again. Picking it up, almost wincing at the thing, he rolled it on the areas that had the most dust and dirt on it, and to his surprise, it actually worked. No unwrapping, no confusion, just a simple roll. Roll, roll, roll.

When he finished and looked much more presentable, he dropped the lint roller back where he found it and stepped into the classroom with caution. He recognized a few faces, like the two boys from the Astrophysics lab and the girl who introduced them to him...and also, who pushed him. Noe. He wondered if he should take a seat next to her but decided against it almost immediately, instead choosing to sit right behind her. After pushing his glasses up with a finger, he slid around the classroom, inching up the seat behind Noe and dropped himself into the seat without making a noise.

Kat was on her way to the next lesson, which turned out to be Astronomy class. So far with the new professor, Kat was okay with the subject. In her honest opinion, it seemed better that Professor Flamsteed taught Astronomy rather than Professor Burbage. That lady's singsong-ish voice was a bit distracting when it was during class and Kat couldn't concentrate too well. However... rest in peace, Burbage.

She was going to see her star again, and Kat bet her galleons that Geronimo had missed her lots too. DUH, she was a good mother to him and even sang him lovey dovey songs Kat would never sing to just anyone. Geronimo was just a lucky little star. Mhm, he just HAD to agree at that fact you know.

"Hello Professor," Kat greeted the Astronomy professor and entered the classroom. The Slytherin found her star with that parchment with her name on it and carried the jar with her. She took a lint roller too and took a seat somewhere not in the middle of the semicircle. Kat pet the lid of her jar and peered at her star. "Yeah, yeah. I know you missed me, Geronimo." Her star did, and it was obvious by the way it was shining brightly in the colour of yellow.

And now we wait.

When it was his turn, Jory took the lint roller and carefully used it on his clothes. Once he entered the room, the first thing he noticed was that something was covered with black velvet. But before he could ponder on what it could be, his attention was diverted to the Stars in the Jar.

"Starry!'' he thought, hurrying over to the jar. He found Starry's jar in no time. "Hi there, Starry. I'm glad to see you're in good health!'' Really, he couln't help but worry something would go wrong after he was done with the project.Now to go find a seat.

Turning, the Puffer saw Professor Flamsteed. Oops. He had noticed him before. "Hello, Professor in the Suit,'' he said, hoping that the man wouldn't mind. The idea to call him that came form one of his favourite shows even though the guy was referred to as The Man in the Suit. "It's great to see you again.'' He went off to find a seat.

Belle was excited for another astronomy lesson. She loved the previous lesson. She wondered what the professor had in store. As Belle got into the classroom, she noticed Alec and Ella and she waved to both of them. Then she noticed Oakey and smiled to him.

As Belle looked around the classroom, she noticed the desks were in a circle...well semi circle. Belle was curious what was going on. Then she saw the pictures covered. She wondered what was under them....

Then she saw Professor Flamsteed. "Hey Professor! How are you today?" Then she got out her notebook and quill and ready to take notes for the lesson.

Okay it was time for Astronomy. Hopefully, you know, they wouldn't need to go all anti-gravity ninja this lesson. The last lesson she had a crick in her neck for weeks after and she played Quidditch, which was the KING of neck pain. AND she really hoped that Flamstead did not make any of them sing. It was kind of, um, a bad experience. Tone deaf Selina was a sad Selina.

Walking into the room, she nodded at Professor Flamstead and nodded, "Hey Professor. Good morning thus far?" She hoped so. He was a cool dude AND a snazy dresser. Like seriously, did he even own a pair of jeans? Yeah, she totally didn't think so.

Collecting herself, she went to her usual seat and waited. Time to get all starry eyed... AHEM. Pun.

It was time...The time of all times. TIME to make an entrance...and everyone knew how Dylan loved his entrances.

Making sure everything was in place (robes and gloves and all that), the Slytherin hiked his bag further up onto his shoulder and entered the classroom. He was personally glad the Professor had decided to move it from the Planetarium. It was gorgeous there, sure...but too much of a good thing and it got old. And he really didn't want anything about Professor Flamsteed's lessons getting old. If he were being honest, the Captain respected the man a great deal. Especially after Alice had informed him of the cruel and unusual punish that had been dished out for hers and Sung's mini-tea party.

Served those two right. Food in a lab? There were chemicals and natural elements in there. Dummies.

Already seeing a good deal of his peers assembled, Dylan settled his bag down at one of the table-clusters and grinned up at where the Professor was standing. Oh, and he had their stars set up on a table next to him!

Lookit! There was Castor!...He hoped that he'd be able to make a second one and have the complete Gemini set. Dylan needed Pollux, too!

"Professor Flamsteed! How are you today?" Also, was he allowed to remove his robe?

Astronomy was by far one of her favorite classes. Things were always interesting in this class and she hoped today would be no different. Nell sauntered in and found an empty seat. She was kind of disappointed that they wouldn't be in the planetarium. A new lesson could be fun though right?

Oh, NOVA. Mo tried to be extremely cool as he sauntered across the room (quickly) and gave Nova a little nuzzle and a pat on the top of her jar. Prettiest little star, and she was DEFINITELY getting bigger. He could tell.

"I lint-rolled my shirt but not my hair today, Nova," he whispered to the jar, giving shifty looks all around before patting her again. He hurried off to find a seat before the professor showed up and made faces at him.

As soon as Sophie stepped into the room, she noticed many things. Lots of people were already there AND their stars were there also! The girl decided to greet her own yellow star while she waited for her turn to use the lint roller.

"Hi, professor!" She spoke to the man before talking to her star. It would be a bit rude to greet the star before the professor, right? She thought so.

The badger touched the jar lid and taking a better look at her colourful name tag thingy before she eyed her star. Teehee. Pretty. "Hello there, Lumi!" She said with a smile, but soon let go of it, as it was her turn to use the lint roller on her uniform.

There, that seemed to be good enough. Professor Flamsteed was no professor Bellaire, riiight? She didn't have to look oh so perfect for his class. Not that she was a mess, but still. WELP. She thought that was enough, so she went to take a seat next to her boyfriend.

Leaning on the table a bit more, Airey inspected the tops of the jars to make sure that they too were still lint and dust free. Not that he doubted them too much since they had just come from his spotless lab.

He then turned his piercing blue gaze forwards when he heard the voice of one of his students. "Miss Ella, good evening," he grinned while flicking his wand towards some heating devices to help keep the room warm.

He did like the smile on this Hufflepuff. Almost as bright as her star. Or was that too corny a thing to think at the moment?

And here was the Gryffindor with all the awesome points! Also he had heard rumors about this one that caused him to raise an eyebrow or two. "Evening, Miss Phillips," he said with a nod while the little lioness went over to look at her star. He was about to ask her how her brother's campaign was going for the Board of Governors when another student entered, taking his attention.

Shame it wouldn't last, but it all was for the better.

It was almost too much yellow in the same room. Good thing he hadn't worn his yellow suit this lesson. Nope. Just gone with a simple grey pinstripe one.

As for her lint roller comment...had she not familiarized herself with his classroom rules? There was no thank you needed for a requirement.

Grinning at the young Gryffindor as he entered, Airey took a few steps back towards the table and leaned over a bit to check on the stars and make sure none of them were suffering just yet. Being out of their controlled environment of the lab was sort of risky business. "Mr. Carver, good evening."

Furrowing his brow at this one's lack of a greeting, Airey decided that he could forgive her since 1) he had never been the sort to greet professors when he had been a student and 2) she had done well on her assignment.

She DID receive a nod as she took her seat though.

Of course this one had something to grin about. He had just BARELY squeaked by against Miss Greenwell in the last Quidditch match. Obviously those Gryffindor Beaters were not doing their job as proficiently as they should be. Maybe he should have a talk with their biting captain? If it was done subtly enough....

And it was thoughts like this that made it obvious as to why he had not been allowed to play for Gryffindor when he was a student.

"Mr. Summers." Was all this Puffer got.

Astronomy. Jake looked forward to this one. It had actually become his favorite class, since the first lesson and the star project... Plus, Flamsteed was... a reasonably alright professor. True, he was a nutter, but that made things interesting. AND he hadn't been eaten by a plant. So that was a perk, too. And probably something to be mildly proud of.

He used the lint roller on his clothes slowly, reading the sign outside the classroom. Not for use in hair. Right, Branxton. That was for you. Jake laughed lightly to himself and set the lint roller down.

Once inside the classroom, he waved at Airey. "Hey, Professor Flamsteed." He took a quick glance up at the stars, but decided he didn't want to find Twinkle in the mess of all those jars... so he just took a seat at a desk toward one end of the semi circle.

Airey felt the need to do something with the prefect when he walked into the room, and was without any of his usual gags and magic tricks on hand. ALAS! "Evening, Mr. Keller. I suppose we should all be watching you?"

Just a bit of dry humor there. He did enjoy reading the school's gossip rag. He had even made an appearance in it this term! The astronomer just wished it hadn't pointed out his cat food incident at the opening feast.

He figured he'd have dropped the class after the first one, especially after what Professor Flamsteed put him through in the Fourty-Eight hours following the class. After his quick hello to his star he grabbed a seat. "Hello Professor." oakey said as he pulled into his chair, and set his bag down beside him.

Gene Simmons?! As in The Demon?! 67686785 awesome points to Mr. Gunter for his name choice!

Grinning at the prefect as he took his seat, the astronomer couldn't help but give the boy an out of context two finger salute. "Evening, Mr. Gunter." Pause. Oh! "Do try to keep up this lesson, yes? I don't want a repeat of the last one." Not that he would be taking gravity away again or have meteors pelt themselves at students. Today had something entirely different on the agenda.

Anyway. The reason for her running was because she would get to see her baby today!!! The Professor said they'd be using the stars next class and he promised that Jeffery would be there too, so Jeffery had to be there with his friends, reunited and happy and...and hopefully not black anymore...? "Eeeeep!!! Jeffery!!!" She ran over to the black star and squished the jar in a hug. "Did you miss me?? I missed you so much. I mean, I know I got NOT Jeffery but I promise I loved you more--"

She stopped talking suddenly when she realized that NOT Jeffery was sitting in the jar right next to him.

Oh dear...

Slowly she lowered Jeffery. "I...this isn't what it looks like...I love you too, honest..." She took him up with her free hand and gave him an earnest look. "Don't go getting upset, kay...? These last few weeks we had together...they were really magical and I did grow to love you." She looked at them both, suddenly feeling really awkward.

"I love you both...?"

Ah yes, Miss Cambridge. Despite her track record and the warnings that he had received from some of his colleges about her, he actually found her to be one of his favorites. Not that he would ever say that out loud...at least not until she graduated that is. She had shown him a lot with this assignment and she should be proud of herself.

"Good evening Miss Cambridge. I brought them both, just as I promised," he said with a smile. "And you are allowed to love them both." Which was very good to hear considering the attitude she had had at the beginning of it all.

Ah, yes. Professor Flammyseed...Flammel Steeds...or whatever his ridiculous name required us to use this strange thing as well. While Rishi did like the idea of keeping himself clean and well-dressed, he found the lint roller to be quite difficult to use. The last time he had used it, he found himself using more than he probably should have as the roll kept unwrapping itself every time he rolled it on his clothes. He prayed it wouldn't happen again. Picking it up, almost wincing at the thing, he rolled it on the areas that had the most dust and dirt on it, and to his surprise, it actually worked. No unwrapping, no confusion, just a simple roll. Roll, roll, roll.

When he finished and looked much more presentable, he dropped the lint roller back where he found it and stepped into the classroom with caution. He recognized a few faces, like the two boys from the Astrophysics lab and the girl who introduced them to him...and also, who pushed him. Noe. He wondered if he should take a seat next to her but decided against it almost immediately, instead choosing to sit right behind her. After pushing his glasses up with a finger, he slid around the classroom, inching up the seat behind Noe and dropped himself into the seat without making a noise.

.............Ravenclaws.

The boy received a nod and an eyebrow raise.

"Hello Professor," Kat greeted the Astronomy professor and entered the classroom. The Slytherin found her star with that parchment with her name on it and carried the jar with her. She took a lint roller too and took a seat somewhere not in the middle of the semicircle. Kat pet the lid of her jar and peered at her star. "Yeah, yeah. I know you missed me, Geronimo." Her star did, and it was obvious by the way it was shining brightly in the colour of yellow.

And now we wait.

"Evening, Miss Hudson," he greeted before removing a lint roller from his charmed breast pocket. There had been some kneazle fur on one of the black velvet fabrics you see.

"Good to see you again as well, Mr. Stonewall," the man beamed at the young Hufflepuff. The boy had brought up some brilliant points in his previous lesson. Good choice of song lyrics. Very good.

Making sure everything was in place (robes and gloves and all that), the Slytherin hiked his bag further up onto his shoulder and entered the classroom. He was personally glad the Professor had decided to move it from the Planetarium. It was gorgeous there, sure...but too much of a good thing and it got old. Already seeing a good deal of his peers assembled, Dylan settled his bag down at one of the table-clusters and grinned up at where the Professor was standing. Oh, and he had their stars set up on a table next to him!

Lookit! There was Castor!...He hoped that he'd be able to make a second one and have the complete Gemini set. Dylan needed Pollux, too!

"Professor Flamsteed! How are you today?" Also, was he allowed to remove his robe?

"Mr. Montmorency," the astronomer greeted the snake captain. The man's key eye for fashion caught something that certainly did not look like the fabric of a Hogwarts uniform under the boy's robes - not unless pinstripes were a new thing - but didn't say anything just yet. He may have smirked however. "Doing quite well, thank you. Did you happen to put that notice up like I asked you?"

He had been the one to have found her after his office had been broken into and he just knew that Pebbles had taken a liking to the young man.

Just one more peek outside the classroom....

"We will wait just a few more minutes before we begin," he announced as he began to walk back up to the front of the room where his covered photo framed chalkboard stood and checked his sundial for a moment. "In the meantime, if you notice that your star's color or condition needs tending to now OR during my lesson, you have permission to get up and tend to it yourself. No need to raise your hand and ask for permission. BUT, you are expected to do so quietly and without disrupting the lesson." Otherwise there would be consequences. "ALSO! As some of you are aware, my Carolina blue silk tie has been missing for quite some time now. If you know anything or see anything please inform me immediately." And there would be serious rewards.

He then removed his lint roller again and began to roll it over the black velvet fabric on each frame just to make sure there was no fur whatsoever on them. He just had the feeling that Medea had put some somewhere as part of her revenge. She had been rather cruel outside his office...but he wouldn't put it past her to have some hidden hairs here somewhere.

Once he was done and had returned the roller to his breast pocket, he walked over to his sundial and checked the time.

Just ignore that it was now dark outside. Once again rendering his sundial useless.

He turned his attention towards the class once more. "You are also welcome to try and guess what is in the frames. The only hint I will give you is that it something that relates to both you AND your stars."

Anya's hand shot up. "OOH!" she said excitedly. "Are they family pictures? Because we haven't been allowed to take our star bundles of joy out of the lab?!"


Because. That would be awesome.

"... andddddd if it's not that... could we take pictures? Because. You know. That would look great on my nightstand." True story.

Airey was awfully smiley and that made Ella quite happy. It was always nice to be in the presence of a Professor who was in a good mood. Maybe he had on one of his most favorite suits? Or...well his hair did look particularly nice today and good hair days were definitely something to smile about. Ella smiled quite often for that very reason. Just saying.

The nod from Anya was a bit unexpected but Ella appreciated the gesture and gave a small nod and faint smile in return. Then Alec sat down beside her and she turned and BEAMED at the boy, her cheeks turning a little pink. There was no real reason for the blushing but hey, she did like the boy a whole lot so she'd blame it on that. Mhm. Grin!

So they could tend to their stars if they needed to? This made the blonde very happy and she scanned the jars, noting where Little Treyen was amongst the twinkly ones at the front of the room. You best believe she'd be up there with wand in hand if the little guy started to go downhill. She had her eyes on him and any slight color change meant OSTS! Operation Save the Star!

Missing tie? Hmmmm. Sounded like a case for Nancy Drew Ella Bishop! The fifteen year old smiled a little and casually started doodling a tie on her parchment, wondering where a missing tie might have disappeared to. Did they have washing machine monsters at Hogwarts too? Cause the one at her house ate all kinds of socks and she supposed there could be some kind of magical equivalent. Just a guess, though.

Whatever was in the frames related to them and their stars? Hmmm... That didn't exactly help narrow it down now did it? The badger stroked her imaginary beard and tried to figure out just what might be there.

At the professor's comment, Jake looked over at him. He flicked his eyebrows up, smirking. "Always." Honestly, he had no idea what kind of gossip the Aparecium had on him. But he was kind of excited to read about himself. Call him conceited, but it was the truth.

He leaned back in his seat and folded his arms. He kept silent as more students came in, and as Airey started talking. He was missing a tie? How sad. Everyone knew how important the man's suits were. He was probably devastated. And Jake sort of felt bad. Maybe he'd start looking for the tie.

Until then, though... there was class to be had. Jake turned his attention to the picture frames covered in velvet. What was behind them? They could be anything, really. "Are they pretty star pictures?" Because... that totally had something to do with him and Twinkle. Sort of. Not really. Oh well.
