Just behind the Groundskeeper's Hut you will find a mini golf course. There are eighteen holes, all of varying degrees of difficulty. And each week the course changes. So come down and try hitting the ball through windmills, pyramids and over bridges of water.
SPOILER!!: Instructions
How to Play
Mini golf courses have 18 marked lanes that are numbered. Players must complete each hole in number order without skipping any hole. According to Play Mini Golf, using their putter, players are required to putt the golf ball from the tee area and straight into the hole. The objective is to make it into each hole on the course in as few shots or strokes as possible. According to Play Mini Golf, every stroke taken counts as a point. If, after six strokes, the ball has not been holed, one more point is added to the total. A player cannot total more than seven points on any one hole. The player with the fewest strokes by the end of the round wins.
Rules
1. The golf club provided is called a putter. It is used for tapping the ball with, NOT to be used as a weapon. Do NOT hit anyone with the putter.
2. Do NOT use the putter as a shovel and try and dig up the ground with it.
3. NO sword fighting with the putters. It may sound stupid but I have seen people do it.
4. The ball should be tapped lightly with the putter. Do NOT whack the ball.
5. The mini golf course is here for your enjoyment so please take care of the equipment. Any damages and you can expect the repairs to come out of your pocket.
Please ensure that you read all the rules and abide by them. If you are caught breaking any of these rules, you will suffer points being deducted from your house and in some instances you could also find yourself in detention.

She swung her putt back and hit the ball. It hit the diaganal bar on the corner and turned left. Sarah ran behind it and where it stopped -she stopped. "That was one shot, that goes for a point. The aim is to complete all the holes while accumelating the least points." She swung it back again, this time it reached the area right behind the hole. From there she she his it again, the ball rolled over the hole, yet did not sink in. "Oh Merlin!" said Sarah with fustration and she inched the ball forward gently. She did it as not to overshoot again, yet she did it a little too softly and it landed right next to the hole. Sarah shrugged her shoulders... she nipped at the ball again with her putt. This time it landed in the hole. "It took my five shots to get it in, therefore I got five points" She took out a partchment and quill and wrote down her score. "Your turn now!"
Heh. She had even pronounced that wrong. 'I guess it's kinda obvious I've never played before.' Ariadne laughed along, happy that Sarah seemed to have forgotten her earlier sorrows.
'You must come from a large family then. That's amazing.' At least for Ari, who was an only child, raised by a single parent. 'Do you get on well with your siblings? Are all of them wizards?' She couldn't help it. Ari was always curious about big families.
'So who gets the least number of points actually wins?' Counter-intuitive much? Ariadne really didn't get this rule. But it was made a bit clearer when Sarah needed 5 moves to get the ball in the hole. Still, her younger housemate seemed quite skilful. 'Well done!' the fifth year praised her.
Oh dearie. Her turn now. Mmmmkay...'Don't laugh.' Ari said whilst setting the ball on the tee and getting ready to hit it. Completely clueless, she had used all her might to hit the small ball and it took off with considerable speed, eventually landing outside the golf course! 'How much do I get for THAT?' Ari had told Sarah not to laugh, but she herself burst into laughter after her unfortunate shot.

Sarah loved talking about her sibling. "yeah, i have seven brothers... Both my parents attended Hogwarts. All my siblings are wizards. I get on them well, with the occasional sibling rivalry, yet we haven fought in a while. Yet when we fight it is normal fights... the things siblings fight over". Like the time her brother gave her a dead arm after she woke him up in the morning oh-si-cheerfully. "Yeah, that is the way it works..." Sarah laughed off the praise, "that was shocking, if I would have needed one more shot I would of had to forfit!"
She watched intently as Ari swung her bat... a bit too strong and the gof ball landed a bit too far. "accio golf ball" said Sarah using the summoning charm. When she played putt-putt with her brothers' her ball often landed in the water... or far away and they had to run and go fetch it. "Never mind! It was your first time. It is much easier when you put less strength into it." What to do next. "That goes for one, and you have to start from the beginning... Now try again" Sarah said.
Nigel wanted to see this Mini Golf Course for himself. He had no idea that Hogwarts had a golf course and still could not understand how they could set this up in a school. But it was Hogwarts after all.
He never even played mini golf before and wanted to try it out. He grabs a putter and starts to practice hoping he would not hit anybody. Still he should find somebody to play with since he did not really want to play golf by himself.

Olivia sorted through the putteres to find a left handed one, yes she was a lefty when it came to mini golf. She finaly found a left handed putter, it was the only one there. And was a little too long; she would make it work. The bigger the putter, the better the shots she thought.
She grabbed a ball and walked up to the first hole. She started out by putting the ball twards the hole. It almost got in! "point for Olivia!" she yelled, throwing her hands in the air.

Nigel turns from swinging the awesome putter. To see a girl talking to him. He stops putting and starts talking to her.
"Oh, Hi Savannah. I'm Nigel and sure lets play this game" He had no idea how he was swinging the club wrong. But it looked like she played this game before.
"No, I have never played this game before. Have You?"
It would be more awesome if she knew how to play. But if she did not then they would make their own rules

Leaning on his putter he watched as she hit the ball and watched it roll and stop right next to the hole itself. "Awww, te bad!" he said. Setting his ball down on the start he tapped the ball with his putter watching as it rolled its way down the path finally coming to a stop way out of reach of the hole. Wrinkling his nose he shrugged "A little harder mebbe."
Ronnie nodded and shrugged a little. "Yeah." she said as she walked over to her ball and gave it a small nudge with the putter. She smiled as it fell into the hole. "That was two, right?" she asked, looking up from the hole to Isaac.
Ameliah was ready to get her GOLF on. GRIN. Though honestly it'd help if she had ever golfed before. But it seemed fun! Reaching for a PURPLE putter and ball, she looked around to take in the place.

Taylor came over to the minigolf course and spotted Ameliah. She went straight over and hugged her sister, "Hey Am!" Tay grinned, feeling so much better than before. "Please tell me that you played this before... I only played it once and that was before the whole retrograde amnesia thing." Taylor tried to joke around but it came across a little grim.

Ameliah grinned as Tay hugged her. "So I guess that means you're feeling better?" She was glad to have a sister that remembered her again. "I haven't played before... but I know the general idea. You're supposed to use the putter to get the ball into the hole with the least amount of turns possible."

"A little bit." She nodded and smiled. "It will be interesting then." She grabbed a putter and a blue ball, "Shall we play together?" Tay looked at her sister and twirled in happiness. "I feel so much better though it feels weird being single again." Taylor threw back her head, twirled some more and laughed.

Taylor smiled, "Up to you." She started to twirl and dance. She was having a good day and it showed. "How are you?"
Ronnie nodded and shrugged a little. "Yeah." she said as she walked over to her ball and gave it a small nudge with the putter. She smiled as it fell into the hole. "That was two, right?" she asked, looking up from the hole to Isaac.
"Yep, two." he said grinning as she knocked it into the whole on the second shot. Heading for his own ball he tapped it with the putter and watched as it whizzed past the hole just like a centimeter off. Dropping his head, he walked over to it again. Tapping it a third time it fell in finally. "Ok, three fer me."
Taylor smiled, "Up to you." She started to twirl and dance. She was having a good day and it showed. "How are you?"
Ameliah nodded. "I'll go first then!" She hit the ball as nicely as she could, and it got suuuper colse to the windmill. "I'm feeling better now that I know you've been getting better." Taylor really had Ameliah worried after the accident. "I've been writing to Logan... you remember Logan, right?"

Ronnie smiled and picked up her ball. This was really fun, she was really enjoying this! And the whole golf course was really pretty. She really liked it, but she really did miss the Duck Pond and playground. Where had they gone, anyway? It seemed every year something new on the grounds would disappear and the next year something new would come. It was nice but she really missed some places...like the tree house...topiary garden...duck pond...gazebo...and the playground...she had lots of memories there!
"You ready?" she asked, turning to Isaac with a smile.

Ameliah nodded as she tapped her ball into the windmill, where it spiraled to the other side and stopped a few feet from the hole. "He looks like this!" Am pulled out a picture of Logan that she just happened to carry around... and showed it to Tay.

Taylor hit the ball again and it went into the hole. She glanced at the picture and memories of him flash through her mind. One of them made her blush, "Yeah, I recognize him."

Seven brothers? That must be so cool! Minus the fighting part. 'What do you guys fight about?' Ari wondered. If she had siblings, she'd have fun with them all the time and share her stuff without complaint. Or so she thought. It was hard to imagine how she'd behave in Sarah's situation. 'Are any of your brothers at Hogwarts currently?' Not that she'd met an Edwards before, though.
Oh goody. It was still her turn. 'Less strength. I'll try.' the fifth year nodded, taking the put and preparing to hit. But this time she had hit the ball too slowly, so it didn't go too far. Still, better than her first try. 'One more.' Ariadne said, hitting the ball again. It was so close to the hole, but didn't go in. 'Make that two more.' she chuckled, unaffected, and gave the ball a final push into the hole. 'Yay, I did it!' she said happily, jumping up and down like a five-year-old.

There was ots to fight about. Especally as Sarah was not so generous. Fight about. "Well, about who gets to play chess who gets o read the magazine, newspaper or book first. I read fast, yet my older brother Sammy rads so SLOW. If he wants to read the book first, then it will take forever and I will only read it later. I could read a book in an hour and he could take a day. He thinks he gets to read it first because he is older, yet I think I need to read it first because I am faster! And then we fight about who gets to lick the brownies batter. And sometimes I annoy them, especially when I wake them up singing." Yeah, it was wierd they got so angry with her. She just was very happy in the morning, no matter the earliness of the hour.
"Yeah, my brother Gabriel is a sixth year lion and my brother Jonathon is a fifth year Ravenclaw. Sammy, who I told you before is a third year Gryffindor and I have a bother James who is a first year lion cub". Everyone else had finished school by now.
Sarah mentally counted Ari's points. Laughing at the fact that Ari had not got it in as quick as she thought. Sarah wished she were like Ari, taking losing or doing bady in a game so easy. Gabriel said she was a sore loser... Sarah thought sh ewas just competitive... Although she once hit her brother with a beaters back when she lost a game of chess... yet that was when she was younger... "WELL DONE ARI! You beat me on that one.. you got four points... let me see if I can beat you on the next hole." With that Sarah took out her golf ball from the hole, motioning Ari to take hers as well and they made their way to the next hole.
At this hole it was different. Sarah put her golf ball on the tee, told Ari that she was going to be right back and exmained the hole. The winding green led her through a tunnel that had a water fall gushing over it. And then it finally ended in a hole.. Great. Sarah sprinted back to the starting tee and hit off, this time she aimed it properly that it will hit the riht siding to get extra bounce and the ball kept on rolling. Sarah followed through the cave/tunnel and out again into the sun light,l leaving Ari behind. Soon it was at the end, by the hole. Yet not in it.
Ari was far behind and Sarah was debating whether she should just pick up the ball and place it in the hole and it would be a hole in one and Ari would not see it. Then she thought about it and her good side won out. HONEST was good. She hated when people lied to her or cheated on her, so why should she do it to Ari. There for, like a brave lion, she did not cheat and instead hit it. As if it was a sign that Heaven was happy with her for not cheating, the ball landed in the hole. Yay she got it in two, when par was four. She skipped back happily to Ari, who was making her towards her to tell her the good news. "It is your turn now!"
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."
Chace walked towards the miniature golf course with a bemused smirk on his face. Something about miniature golf brought out the little kid in Chace, and no matter what he thought about he couldn't wipe that smirk from his face. There was also the fact that Chace was very good at miniature golf. He wondered if Abby was...perhaps he could help her if she wasn't heh. And he would probably need to tone down his competitiveness since that wasn't attractive around your girlfriend. But then again Abby was an exception so perhaps she would like his competitive fire...

Golf. One of the very few things Abby wasn't good at. She would have protested against his choice of venue but it seemed like Chace liked that sport. Being the super awesome girlfriend that she was, she'd agreed. Although, she was NOT going to be playing. She'll watch her boyfriend play and that was about it. She had no intention of embarrassing herself in front of Chace, thank you very much.
Abby walked towards him, with a smile on her face. Heh. She was happy to see her boyfriend again. "Hello, Mr. Handsome." And, he really looked as handsome as ever.

Chace's smirk grew into a different kind as he saw Abby coming towards him. "Hello Gorgeous," Chace said, bending down to plant a kiss on Abby's lips. Chace had already grabbed one of the miniature golf clubs for himself and Abby, and turning around picked up hers and held it out to her.
"Now before you protest Miss Stubborn, I want you to at least give it a shot," Chace said, a stern look on his face as his eyebrows furrowed down. "I promise that it'll be fun, and if you give me a chance I am sure I can make it enjoyable for you too," Chace said with a mischievous grin.

Oh, no. Abby shook her head, refusing to take the golf club that he held out for her. "I'm not playing, Chace. I know I'm bad at it so there's no point in me even trying, is there?" Abby let her arms wrap around his neck. "Besides, I want to watch you play." Frankly, she'd rather make out with Chace than watch him play a sport but.. whatever. She could spend a little while watching him play. It seemed like he was really good at it.
