Welcome to Hogwarts! You enter and leave the castle through two great oak front doors to stand in the majestic Entrance Hall. There are numerous doors and staircases leading off from the hall as well as the four house points hourglasses. filled with rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and amber gemstones.

She was looking up at the sign which again made her laugh a bit. Sitting up slowly she looked around and that's when she noticed that the floor looked like ice. "What the heck happened in here, who could have done this?" Oh really please don't let it be a puff. Without getting up for fear of falling yet again she looked at the other two girls, "How do we get this ice off the floor so we can stand without falling again." That's when Minerva felt her arm sting, she wasn't hurt bad, but it just stung. Getting on her hands and knees so that she did not fall again. Minerva crawled carefully to the Slytherin girl first since she was closer, "Are you hurt?" Then looked over to Kurumi to see if she was badly hurt at all.
Hannah's body hurt. Her right arm/hand was throbbing where she caught herself. Everything was zooming in and out of focus. It was then that she noticed the huge banner about the Quidditch professor. 350 years old? Merlin...maybe she hit her head harder that she thought. She was still splayed out flat on her back and just couldn't move not that she was that hurt...more in shock than anything.
She blinked a few times trying to clear her head. She heard a voice that she did not recognize asking if someone else was alright. Apparently she wasn't the only one that fell. This had to be a prank and as soon as Hannah found out who did it they were going to get it. Then it sounded like the voice was asking her if she was ok. She looked in the direction of the voice and she could have sworn it was a puffer. She wanted to scream not to touch her, but nothing came out.
She wasn't exactly in the best position to be mean to anybody so she swallowed her pride for the time being. "Er...argh...oh." What just came out of her mouth? Merlin it was like she was speaking jibberish. Was somebody going to do something or was she just going to wither away here for crying out loud!
I can;t help it. I'm jumping in. too many opportunities to be mean here.

Elliot was heading back to the common room after a pretty loooong day of classes. And hellish classes, too. Not fun, like Transfiguration or anything.
She was minding her own business...her thoughts maybe drifting to Maxwell a bit...when she heard a commotion. Hmm. Curiosity got the best of the Ravenclaw and scurried to find out what the heck had happened! She turned the corner, and saw...Hannah...on the ground...St. Kurumi-berry...heehee, that was a nice nickname! How brilliant!
And...the ex girlfriend.
Great.
Elliot bent down over Hannah and said, "Hannah! Are you all right? Get up! you look like a fool!" she said, just trying to help. She glared at Kurumi..."Did you do this, St. Kurumi? Hmmm? Trying to take out snakes now, are we?" She snarled, clearly peeved.
Hannah was her best friend! She then shot a suspicious look at Minnie...be civil...be civil...be ci-"And what are you doing just standing there? Help her up!" she said hysterically, and she offered a hand to Hannah. Hmm.

Dylan was looking at the poster that he had just made not realising what was going on behind him, he had no idea that someone had arrived and was tampering with the floor. He also hadn't seen her hide after creating the icy floor, but it was not long before he heard someone shout out his name that meant it was someone that knew him. He had almost jumped out of his shoes, he recognised the voice too!! Oh no this was not going to be good, he turned around to see.. yes it was her... she was there.. actually there.. Kurumi! Why did she have to be here? she was sure to punish him again and after they were getting on with each other after the train thing at Kings Cross. Time to do what he planned to do if he were to get caught... protest your innocence and sell it to her! "Kurumi it... it.. wasn't... wasn't me! I.. I just found it like that. honest! " he was about to protest his innocence even more when to his horror his prefect seem slip on the floor and straight onto her back.
He started to go over to her when he too started slipping around "What..? " but luckily he was able to hold onto something so that he could regain his balance. He then slipped and slid his way over to his prefect side and sat down on his knees "You ok Kurumi? " he asked a little concerned, he may have not been fond of his prefect at the beginning of term after she punished him but being in the same house as her can change that and it had done. He was not happy at seeing her on the floor like this, if only she hadnt come over. Just as he did that he heard another thump and looked round to another girl who had fallen as well. But he did have one thought on his mind as these two girls lay before him on their backs in pain as was very much possible.
Who had done this to the floor? he thought he looked over to the other girl when he saw another older girl come over, man he was always surrounded by girls. He watched as in horror as the third girl also fell onto her back, he sighed he heard her question the floor "I.. I have no idea.. I am not responsible for that" even if he was responsible for the sign. He then heard he question how to get the ice off the floor, he had no idea so he shrugged he was a first year so how was he supposed to know. He watched as the older girl who was a puff went over to the other girl on the floor, that was good she goes to her while he was with his prefect to make sure she was ok as well. "K.. Kurumi? Y.. you ok?" he was sooo going to get the person who did this! They were ruining his fun and making it more dangerous!! and that was NOT allowed!! he just wanted to people to see the banner not get hurt!! Just then he saw another girl come over to and to the other girl on the floor, well at least they were all there to make sure the two on the floor were ok.. well he was only asking Kurumi mostly since he didnt know the other girl at all.. but even then.. he should really ask if she was ok.. but the others were asking for him and he was listening so he would know soon enough though he did think that he heard her moan in pain which was natural of course

Minerva looked at the slytherin girl who seemed to be badly hurt. Gosh darn it, who could have made this mess and why would anyone want to do something that would hurt students. That was just wrong. Looking around she didn't see anyone else there, which meant she was going to have to get up and try to walk slowly out the door to find a professor or the Healer.
Right as she went to try and get up from her crawling position she heard a voice that she did not want to hear. It was that girl. Looking up she saw Maxwell's new whatever. Rolling her eyes, really you can't tell this girl is hurt. "She is pretty hurt and if you don't slow down on this icy floor your going to be the next one down." Did she really just say that Minerva was standing. Looking at the ground where her hands were she chuckled so the girl was full of herself and dumb, great combination. "Umm I would love to help her, but since I had fallen as well and am trying to get up it is kind of hard, but since your standing it would probably be a great help for both this girl and Kurumi is you could go find a professor or the healer to help out. " Was it even worth asking this one.
That's when she saw a boy looking freaked out and frantic. He looked like a first year, could he be responsible for all of this. 'You didn't do any of this did you?" she didn't mean to accuse, but it was very weird that he was there being so scared at that moment. Shaking her head, maybe he was just upset seeing students on the ground. Minerva looked up at him, "Maybe you could go get a professor or the healer to help this girl and Kurumi. They might be hurt." Well the Slytherin really seemed hurt, but she wasn't sure about Kurumi yet.
Elliot whipped around, hearing a little boy's voice...MERLIN. more troublesome first years! She narrowed her eyebrows..."DId YOU do this, kid? seriously?" She spotted the banner...oh, so he WAS trying to cause chaos! She didn't see the other Gryffindor there..the girl...her eyes were all for the first year! She had half a mind to curse him on the spot! She growled. "If they're seriously hurt, you're going to get it!" No one messed with Lockwood. NO one. Not Elliot's closest friend in the entire world.
Her loyalty was showing again...oops.
She then raised an eyebrow at Minnie. She felt anger bubbling...just below the surface..."Listen, Minnie, is it? I understand you're trying to help." Really, Elliot did. Buuuut- "So I am going to withhold mean comments. For now. But I don't like you." She said it bluntly. OF course she didn't. She had a reason...she was Maxwell's EX. Which made Elliot VERY anxious. "For now, we can work together." Puffers. "Who's office is closest?" because it didn't seem like the kid was going to help...she turned back to the kid...
"You! Kid! You're coming with me to explain WHY these people are hurt..." she ordered, her eyes daring him to contradict. Heeheee.

Hannah lying there looking at the ceiling going in and out of focus suddenly heard a voice that was familiar. She heard her tell her to get up because she looked like a fool. Really? Like she was happy to be splayed out on the floor.
She felt like she was starting to come back a bit because things were starting to make a little more sense. Then she heard Elliot yelling at the puff girl to her Hannah. That sounded like her friend alright. Still she didn't want help from a puffer. She seen Elliot offering her hand, but Hannah could get her arm to cooperate.

Hannah heard a boy saying that he didn't do anything and he sounded really nervous and scared which meant one thing in Hannah's mind...he was guilty. He should be scared though because once Hannah was better he was going to pay. Hannah would make sure that he never lived down this little prank of his. Then he would learn not to mess with Hannah Lockwood!!!!

He was surrounded by girls!! he shook his head "No! I did not do any of this!" well maybe except the banner but he would deny all of that! cause he didnt want people to know he had put the banner up. He just looked at her "P..professor? erm... I mean... yeah! thats sounds good. Yeah we wouldn't want them hurt" especially Kurumi but did he want a professor around with the banner? even if they did see it they couldn't PROVE that he did any of it! He nodded and was just about to get up when one of the other girls started to talking to him rudely.. he looked at her and frowned at the tone that she was using...

She spotted the banner...oh, so he WAS trying to cause chaos! She didn't see the other Gryffindor there..the girl...her eyes were all for the first year! She had half a mind to curse him on the spot! She growled. "If they're seriously hurt, you're going to get it!" No one messed with Lockwood. NO one. Not Elliot's closest friend in the entire world.
Her loyalty was showing again...oops.
She then raised an eyebrow at Minnie. She felt anger bubbling...just below the surface..."Listen, Minnie, is it? I understand you're trying to help." Really, Elliot did. Buuuut- "So I am going to withhold mean comments. For now. But I don't like you." She said it bluntly. OF course she didn't. She had a reason...she was Maxwell's EX. Which made Elliot VERY anxious. "For now, we can work together." Puffers. "Who's office is closest?" because it didn't seem like the kid was going to help...she turned back to the kid...
"You! Kid! You're coming with me to explain WHY these people are hurt..." she ordered, her eyes daring him to contradict. Heeheee.
He shook his head "No! I did not do this.. maybe you did it and are trying to put the blame onto me!" cause he most certainly did not do this! "Why do I get it? I didn't even do anything! I didn't cause the icy floor so not my fault!" he said folding his arms. No way was he going to confess to something that he didnt do at all! At least the hufflepuff girl had asked him in a more kinder tone and was more nice to him than this older chick even if he had done which he hadnt! He listened as the rude chick talked to the nice hufflepuff girl, so her name was Minnie? ok got it! Minnie it was then, wait this rude one didnt like the nice one.. Minnie? so it was not cause of the icy floor she was just naturally rude. Maybe she should be on the floor instead of Kurumi! He then looked at the rude chick as she had turned back to him and was telling him now that he had to explain why they were on the floor? He was about to answer when the other girl on the floor yelled at him. What was with everyone yelling at him for no reason. Now his turn to yell if thats what these two wanted he would! Cause he wasnt one of those scared little firsties.

It was as if Elliot's screaming was somehow managing to bring Hannah back. She used all of her strength to bring herself up in a sitting position. Man it felt like she was hit by a truck. She blinked a few times in an attempt to clear her mind.
She looked around trying to piece together what happened. "Elliot!!!" Why wasn't her friend trying to help her up? "What happened?" All she remembered was walking into the entrance hall and then everything went dark. She had a horrible headache and her right arm was hurting.
She looked over at the young lion. "Did you do this?" Because frankly somebody did this and that meant that somebody was going to pay and if he wasn't on the ground hurt then why was he here at all? She wanted answers and she wanted them now!!!

Minerva listened to Elliot, but decided the best thing to do was to keep calm and as nice as could be. "Thank you Elliot for offering to get help and I think that's a great idea that the boy goes with you." She looked over at the first year, "Please go get help, because this girl seems to be really hurt and Kurumi hasn't said a word, so I'm afraid she could be badly hurt as well." Minerva looked over to Kurumi again.
Then the Slytherin girl sat up, "Are you okay? Does your head hurt?" Minerva wanted to make sure she didn't have a head injury first, if she did that could be very bad, the other injuries could be fixed easier. "Do you need help? My name's Minerva by the way." she tried to smile at the girl. Looking back to Elliot and the boy she thought..oh how she wished she could do a patronus so she could just send that. Looking at the ice on the floor she looked back at the boy, "If you say you didn't do this, then did you see who did?" She was sure he had to have done the banner or the ice or both, if not he had to have seen something.

Kurumi sort of just stayed there....on the ground...looking up at the ceiling and wondered what her life had just become. Sadly, she really wasn't registering any sounds - and that was NOT because she was unconscious or anything of that sort - the fall had caused her to hit her head and her ears were sort of ringing from the impact. Two head traumas within a month? This had to be a record for her. She hadn't even done that badly when she had played Seeker.
Although...flying and crashing into the stands had done more damage to her than this had.
Eventually, Kurumi did begin to stir a little, mostly twitching her fingers a bit, and felt the floor underneath her which was...unusually cold. No, wait, not just cold. It was icy. "Glacius," Kurumi muttered to herself, shooting Dylan a look. Nope. He hadn't been the one to have cast it, and everyone else had arrived after so it wasn't any of them either.
Pushing herself up off the ground, Kurumi's eyes sort of crossed for a moment as she reoriented herself. "Everyone can stop pointing fingers...no one here cast the spell that caused us to slip," Kurumi sighed as she took out her own wand - her back cracking in the process. Ew. "THAT, however," Kurumi said as she thrust her finger towards the sign on the wall. "Is another story." Yeah, we were giving you looks, Dylan.
Rolling over, Kurumi cast a silent Finite on the floor to remove the ice. There, now no one else would slip and fall.

DJ looked at the rude chick as she was now asking who had done this as if he knew! if he had wouldn't he have told you already to end all this accusation at him. "How am I supposed to know who did this? its not like they came upto me and said 'Hey I am gonna ice up this floor so be careful!'" gosh even as an older student and that too a claw they weren't too smart at figuring it out that he didn't do it! He was now getting more and more upset with all these accusations that were coming his way cause he had not done this. He so wanted to roll his eyes but he didn't knowing that she would probably have a fit "Yeah you go get the professor and I will tell them what I told you cause its the truth!" and he was not going to say anything other than that!

Dylan looked at the other girl on the floor as she asked the same question, why was everyone asking him whether he had done this? Did he seem like the kind or person to do this? Did they really think he knew the spell for this icy floor thing? maybe they needed to really open their eyes, he was a first year! how would he know the spell. They were all older so it was obvious that they would know the spell, so maybe one of them did it he looked at them "For the last time, No! I did not do this! I dont even know the spell! I am a first year dont you all forget that, even though I may look a little older." he chuckled at this before looking at them and stopping. Yeah no laughing matter he got it!

Ok he got it her name was Minerva but nicknamed Minnie. He then looked back at Minnie as she calmly asked him a question, See! now thats how you ask questions and you will get the replies you need "No..er Minnie? I did not see who did this, if I had I would have honestly told you" see she got a nice answer, he then heard someone new speak as he looked over at her glad to hear something from her.

He raised his eyebrows as she said that they could stop pointing their fingers, he looked at the others, see! she is finally talking some sense! so no more accusing Dylan! He watched as she sat up and he got ready to to help her if she needed it but she seemed to do fine on her own. He then saw Kurumi point at the banner and say that it was different story, cause even though no-one there had done the spell the banner had been done by one of them there. He put on an innocent face so that no-one would suspect him but he kinda realised that maybe Kurumi knew that it was him that had put up the banner since she was the one that had been around when he was looking at the banner "Thats a different story? I had no idea I thought both were part of the same story" he said trying to persuade her to include the banner in the ice floor story.
Hannah...Elliot frowned....whaaaat? Hannah had to be hurt. If she didn't remember...what was going on?! Elliot's heart fluttered in a panicked way around her chest...Merlin..."We just had this discussion...d-d-don't you remember?" PLease remember. Because if not Elliot was going to freak out. And possibly spazz out. And do all sorts of foolish things.
She narrowed her eyes at Minnie. Merlin, Elliot was trying to be MEAN and she was being all nice. Ugh. It totally ruined Elliot's plan, that's for sure. She didn't even grace the hufflepuff with speech...whatever.
Maxwell's ex girlfriend was NOT in good standing with the Ravenclaw...at all.
And then Kurumi made the ice go away...oh..."Yeah, good job, St. Kurumi. You're so smart," she said, a bit sarcastically and bitter...for good measure, Elliot hadn't even thought of that...but hey, she was distracted...by being angry...and mean...and stuff.
Gosh.
She then let her eyes land on the kid. THe Gryffindor kid. "Fine. You didn't do it, kid. And what in Merlin's beard does your banner say?" because she was kind of curious now. The Ravenclaw in her was showing...well, she was a ravenclaw...but she had looootts of curiosity. Lots.
Oh. Yeah. Hannah was hurt...and the saint.."Hey, you two on the ground...do we need to go to the hospital wing? I think you two hit the ground kind of hard." And may be some permanent damage..hehehe. Not for Hannah...but maybe St. Kurumiberry. Kurumiberry...heehee.

The young lion was already managing to get on Hannahs nerves. Was there an off button? Fine... he didn't do it whatever. The point was that somebody did do it and Hannah would find out who. "If you didn't do it, you didn't do it." In other words you were no longer important to Hannah. He was however guilty of something. Hannah could just tell.
Then the puff girl introduced herself to Hannah. Even through it all she was still being nice to Hannah. "Names Hannah." Her head was sure ringing. "My head and arm hurt." She didn't want to go to the healer though. Was that a good idea though?
Then there was Elliot. "I'm so confused Elliot." Was she just nice to a puffer? Is this real life? "I huurrrrrrrrrrt!!!" she wailed. Fix it! Do something. "Somebody is going to pay!" Find out who did this. Hannah was not going to let this go. She thought the little lion knew something. Maybe he was trying to cover for somebody.
The the Gryffindor prefect was awake and she got the floor to be not icy anymore. Yay! The damage was already done though. Stop pointing fingers? Bossy little thing wasn't she? "I want to know who did this!" They deserved punishment from the professors and from Hannah! Gah...she needed this prefect...to well...prefect!

Once the ice was gone Minerva got to her feet glaring at Elliot for a second she turned her head to the two on the ground. "If you both hit your head maybe you shouldn't get up until we get the healer. You might have a concussion or something." she looked back and forth. Why did it always seem professor were every where until you really needed them. Shaking her head she looked at the boy, something seemed off about him. If he didn't see anything then why didn't he fall when walking across the floor. It just didn't add up, but looking back at both girls she wondered what they would want. "Kurumi do you think we should get a professor or will you two be ok? I could help both of you up if you think your ok to stand, but only if you really think your okay." She didn't want anything serious to be wrong with any of them.

Laura had decided it was time to get something to eat, she giggled at the banner that was on the wall, well whoever did that she would be friends with but she knew if she stayed here for too long everyone would blame her even though she hadn't done anything, she was walking around when suddenly.
Laura bumped into something as she was rounding the corner away from the scene of the bannister, she had no idea what it was but all she knew was that she had hit something that felt like a truck. "What the?" Laura looked up to see Arabella. "What you doing here?" Laura sighed.

Lily was still kinda cradling her right wrist with her left hand while she stood, warming up within the hall. She kinda shrugged at Taylor's question. "I wasn't really upset.... I've just been trying to... um... avoid someone..... and it's just... I dunno... it's hard to avoid this person." Lily said searching for words at some point before blurting out something to try and make Tay feel a bit more comfortable "But it's not you.... I mean... that... I'm not trying to avoid you." So don't think that. If you had it probably be a little hard since we are in the same house and I would be bugging you, trying to figure out what I did to upset one of my best friends." Tay smiled at her then looked around, not wanting to run into a certain hufflepuff. "Hey, wanna head up to the common room?" Where I cant possibly run into the one i am trying to avoid.
All Lily could do was nod in response to Taylor's comment. She had been avoiding someone all day and had done a pretty good job at it. "I wouldn't try to avoid you.... without you knowing that you did something wrong." She added simply. The comment about having it be hard since they were in the same house struck home with the redhead, since the girl that she was trying to avoid was in her house... but was also part of the school leadership so was likely to be anywhere in the castle at this point.
"Sure... I need to take my winter coat off when we get up there." In reality, the claw was going to take her outer cloak off and check out her wrist, which was still very painful...but Lily did her best to not let it show. "Okay... lets head up there." She said, starting to head up the stairs.
Taylor laughed and smiled, "That is good to know." She hugged Lily then nodded, "Yeah i think everyone takes their winder coat off inside." Tay giggled, "Okay." Taylor headed up there as well.

It was so cold.
Why did it have to be so cold? Considering Hogwarts was a school of magic, and there were a numerous number of capable witches and wizards inside the place, there should be no reason for it to be so cold. Vanora really didn't care if people liked the snow. She didn't, and that was all that mattered.
And why couldn't she have her food delivered to her? Not by a house elf, of course. Those little creatures worked hard enough; she didn't need them working any harder just because her hut was so far from the Great Hall. But a student. Yeah! Perhaps she should talk to the Headmistress about getting some kind of delivery service going. She'd do that later, since she had already made the journey.
Stepping into the Entrance Hall, Vanora let her coat slip off her shoulders and began to stomp some of the snow from off her boots. It was kind of difficult to do anything, though. Wearing five sweaters makes a person heavy.

Ella was out of breath, it had been a while since she'd gone for a run and doing it in the freezing winter air wasn't an easy feat. The third year BURST into the entrance hall, the sudden feeling of warmth overtaking her small body. Without even looking she continued on, running SMACK into the exact person she was sent to find.

"P-Professor!" She stammered, green eyes wide. She stopped, placing her hands on her knees before taking a few deep breaths. Steady now, you're alright badger. Get your head together. "P-professor I...we were at the barn...the Jobberknolls...screams...itwasawful." MEEP. "They've...they've all...THEY'VEALLDIED." She managed to get out, standing up straight again. It was clear she was frightened from the way her small body was now shaking. She lifted her small hand up and grabbed the Professor's sleeve, tugging on it gently. "P-please come to the barn...they... they're all dead."
