........................ "But," Mason only let one word escape his mouth before he had pointed to where the suit of armor had gotten up off the podium and did some strange dance out of the room. Like OMG, WHUT WAS THAT?! "How do you explain that?" He was still staring at the spot the suit of armor once was still trying to understand how THAT armor cam to life when Addy pointed out that they wouldn't talk back. "I mean... he didn't talk, but.... he moved!"

And dangggg! That armor had some moves!

He shook his head a little bit before turning back to his friend. "It's interesting," he replied. "It's different than home but different in a good way." Except he did miss his parents. A lot. He furrowed his eyebrows now as he looked at her. "Allergic to people? Is that even possible?" He chuckled some. "Though, I guess if you can be allergic to animals, you can be allergic to people."

Addy didn't ogle the suit of armour the way Mason was... she tilted her head to one side and smiled. "I am sure it's Charm work." She was SURE it was. And anyway, it was HOGWARTS. Everything was capable of coming "to life" and moving, wasn't it? Heh.

"Yeah. Different, for sure. The jury's out for me as to whether it's a good different or not, though." She was homesick and lonely up in that tower most of the time. "Figuratively speaking, Mason. I mean to say that there are some people here who I have come to dislike and would prefer not to be around," she said with a chuckle. "Making friends, though? Having fun?"

Ronnie walked with Adam to the second floor. BETTER BE SOMETHING AWESOME HERE. OR SHE'D CRY. Well, not really. Not in front of Adam. No wayyy.

Ahh, the suits of armor! She'd been here many times. All because of Oliver. He always was up here on the second floor for some reason. She didn't know why. If only Oliver could tell her...but he was a cat, he couldn't really say anything. *sigh*

Ronnie sighed and looked at the suits of armor. "Aren't they just...awesome?" she said with a sigh, running a hand on one of their arms. She'd always loved the suits of armor. Ever since she had came across them...which...was a few years ago? She wasn't sure. But she had come here a lot of the time ever since she came across them. She turned to look at Adam with a smile. As she looked at him, she realized how amazing his eyes were. Wow. Had they always been this...this...dreamy?! And..his hair was...perfect. Absolutely perfect. Well, it was perfect to her. And the shape of his lips...was...just...jeez, his whole face was soooo amazingly perfect! She couldn't take her eyes off him at all. She stood there, her hand still on the suit of armor, her eyes fixed on his. Uhh...what were they talking about?

Laura couldn't believe she was turning 14, where was the time going, she really wished that things could be a lot different and that time would just stand still before long she would be getting really old like Professor Vindictus and Professor Lafay which just wasn't on, seriously they both were old.

Laura had decided that she would have a little picknic to celebrate her birthday but since it was cold outside she didn't think it would be right having one out there so she had decided to have it on the second floor where the suit of armour was, she had also made sure she had brought the baskets that were full of sweets and drinks.

Laura settled down on the floor and took out one of the sandwhich that she had made herself earlier, she had no idea if anyone would turn up she had told her friends but they could all be busy so she was going to enjoy herself even if she had to do it on her own and who knows maybe her twin sister Lana would turn up.

Adam grinned. "Soo I picked good then?" This was his favorite place to hang out. He was getting his French-confindence back. Suddenly he noticed that Ronnie kinda trailed off... Turning from the statues to face Rons, he noticed she was kiiiinda staring at him. This made Adam grin again, and he noticed he happened to still be holding her hand. Heh heh. So uhm... yeah... whaaaat was going on? Ronnie's hair. That was aaaaall Adam could see right now.

Ronnie laughed, nodding. "Yup!" she said with a grin. "Ya sure did!" she said.

Ronnie finally caught herself staring and quickly looked down at the floor, slipping her hand out of his, her face red. What was her problem?! She was probably freaking the poor guy out! She needed to cut it out NOW! This was so embarrassing! Merlin's beard, what was WRONG with her?!

Adam kinda pouted as Ronnie looked away and let go. NUUUU. He lifted her chin a little so he could see her again. Not like he was creepy or anything... "Hey, no need to look down like that," he said with a grin and a wink. THATS RIGHT. Adam O'Dare was getting his confidence back. Heheh.

Ronnie's face grew redder as he lifted her chin. Her eyes darted away from his and to his chest as he spoke. Wait...what'd he say?! She slowly looked back up at him, smiling shyly. "I...I...uh...I...s-sorry." she muttered with a small shrug. Her cheeks felt very hot right now. Was it hot in here or...?

Minerva walked up to the second floor. She never really went to the Armor that much so this would be a nice change. It didn't take her long to find who she was looking for. "Hey Laura, Happy Birthday!" she smiled at her friend. "Your not planning anything crazy in here right?" Minerva knew she had changed for the most part, but she was still staying on her toes. She didn't want to get in trouble just for being a good friend and coming to a birthday party. "Oh I'm a the first one here?" she smiled and sat down next to Laura. "So how have you been, and how was detention?" she grimaced even saying the word. That was a place Minerva had never even come close to be around and she wanted to keep it that way.

Adam smiled. "That's better." He just so happened to notice Ronnie bluuushing... And she was nervous. Heh heh. Soooo did she like Adam? That was the question. She looked soo pretty. Heh. "Soooooooo you wanna find a different place or stay here?" *HINT HINT* STAY HEEEEEERE.

Laura smiled as Minerva came and spoke to her. "Thanks." Laura then gasp as her friend asked if she was planning anything crazy. "NO I'M NOT." Laura looked at her friend, half offended, she hoped her other friends wouldn't be like this. "It's my birthday, I ain't going to do anything crazy, I just decided I would have a picknic and since it's bad weather outside I decided that here would do." Laura giggled.

"I'm fine here. I really like just standing here...with you." she said. It took a moment for her to realize what she had just blurted, and her cheeks grew more red. Ay yi yi! Her face HAD to look like a tomato right now! She wished there was a way she could hide her face from him...but there was no way to hide her blushing face without making her look more stupid.

"But if you wanna go somewhere else we can..." she added, nodding slowly. What was with all the random butterflies in her stomach?! It was really bugging her, and so was her stupid heart that was thumping wildly against her chest. . .Could he hear it?!

Adam couldn't help but grin. Yup. Ronnie liked him back. "Nah, I'm cool staying here awhile with ya." He rubbed the back of his neck a little and looked to the side, cheeks going slightly pink. Soooooooooo... what nowsers? However confident he normally was with girls, he had NO IDEA what to do with Ronnie since...well, he actually LIKED HER LIKED HER. GAH. This was gonna get akward fast.

Ronnie smiled. If only there was a spell or something to get rid of her stupid red cheeks. "So..." she said. This felt kinda weird. She didn't really know what to say right now. She sighed. She had to tell him she liked him at some point, right? And it was probably really obvious to him with her blushing and holding his hand and staring and all. Heh.

"I...I've st-started to...um..." she looked down at her shoes, her face growing red again. Might as well just get this out and over with. "I've started to...re-really like...y-you, Ad-Adam..." she finally finished, not daring to look up. She just couldn't. This was so weird. She never really told someone they liked them right away. That just wasn't her. But she just did.

It took a while for her to realize again what she just said. O____O WHATINTHEWORLDWASHERPROBLEM?! NO! She was such an idiot! Ugh! Why did she say that?! Oh no, oh no no nooo...this was...bad. She never said stuff like this! Oh no...he'd probably NEVER talk to her again! She probably just ruined their friendship! UGH. She was just so...stupid!

Minerva smiled, "Oh Laura lighten up. You know what I mean. You usually did crazy things, it's still an adjustment." She took a sandwich, "Thanks, but shouldn't we be giving you food not the other way around sine it is your birthday?" She smiled at her friend, "Well I'm glad we are not out in the cold. I'm not a huge fan of cold weather. I love snow, but hate being cold." she knew that sounded weird, but she didn't care. "Anyway, how was detention?"

Adam watched with interest as Ronnie blushed and looked down. "You do? YEEEEEEES!!!!" He did a fist pump but immediately looked to the side and added quietly: "Uhm...I mean...uh...yeah... I like you too. A lot." COMPOSE YOURSELF, ROMEO. She was probably all weirded out now. NICE. But...he couldn't really help it. Just her saying that made his stomach all twisted and he had to make an effort to breath. Merlin, this is what it's like to have feelings for someone?

Hm. That suit of armour. I like that suit. That's a nice suit.

Ronnie blinked at his excitement over her liking him. The way he said yes and the fist pump...jeez! She swallowed hard, looking at him with a shy smile. He liked her too?! A lot?! Ronnie smiled widely. She just couldn't help it. She'd never really felt so happy about something before. And she'd never liked someone like this.

She immediately pulled him into a hug, squeezing him tightly. She couldn't let go. She just couldn't. She could hug him ALL day!

Adam grinned and hugged Rons back. Of course, he'd hugged her before (a lot actually for reasons... ), but it still made his heart race all the same. Ronnie's hair smelled nice and Adam put one of his hands on the back of her neck, hugging her tighter. This was awesome! Now... he was actually kinda glad he broke up with Ameliah. She needed the time (though she appeared to take no time in going to Logan), and Adam never actually liked someone like he liked Ronnie.

Ronnie grinned as he hugged her back. This was amazing. She wished she could just stand here hugging him all day. She so would. This felt like a dream...it was just too good to be true. She could not believe he liked her back. It was crazy.

Laura looked at Minerva and giggled. "I knew that would make you say that." Laura nudged her friend. "No since I've decided to have a birthday picknic here." Laura really thought it would be a good idea. "I'm no fan of cold either, though I do love snow ball fights." Laura really did like them. "Oh detention, was okay, though I hate Alexa." Laura sighed. "She destroyed my wand." Laura didn't like having no wand.

He'd supposed he should come along to the previous crime scene picnic Laura had arranged for her birthday since they were friends again. And he even brought her a present! How good was that! Plonking himself on the floor opposite Laura, he smiled at her, waiting for the girls to pause so he could say hi. He definitely wasn't rude, so he just sat there rather awkwardly with the wrapped present on his lap.

Adam finally broke off of Ronnie, still grinning like an idiot. Suuuuu what now? He wasn't exactly experienced with relationships flirting was a different story but he didn't want to sound it... "You in the mood for any more exploring then?" Now that everything here was settled. And Ronnie had a real reason to hold his hand.

Ronnie shrugged. "Sure. I don't really care." she said, taking his hand in hers with a grin. She didn't mind what they did. She just wanted to hang out with him for as long as possible today! Teehee. "Wanna go to the kitchens? All this exploring is making me hungry." she said, giggling.

Minerva laughed as Laura nudged her, "Well it was funny to hear you were in detention.. When I heard it was from that Alexa girl I couldn't help but laugh. I figured if anyone could bring the old Laura out in you it would be her." Minerva smiled at her friend. "Oh I know what you mean, I love snowball fights, but I hate being cold. They should make warm snow.. that would be awesome." Minerva noticed someone watching them and looked up. It was a Puff boy that Minerva wasn't sure she knew. She felt her cheeks blush a bit and she smiled, "Oh umm. hello" she looked at Laura to see if Laura knew the boy since he seemed to be here for her birthday.

Laura looked at Minerva and blushed. "Well she did snap my wand in half, so I decided to call her a coward." Laura really still didn't see what she had done wrong after all Alexa had been the mean one. "The only strange thing is I haven't seen her since the detention." Laura sighed, she just hoped that everything was alright, Alexa and the Headmistress didn't seem to get along, or that was Laura's impression, suddenly she saw Minerva blush and say hi to someone, looking around she smiled.

"ED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Laura looked at her friend and smiled, "Have a sandwhich Ed." Laura decided it was time to put the things out, so she quickly sorted it out and made sure everything was ready and in perfect order, there was loads of food and butterbeer for them all to share. "This is going to be a great day." Laura was already enjoying herself.
