"Oh I'm sure it was an accident, it happens around here quite a bit, being a really busy place and all." he nodded and offered a kindly smile. "Well hello Lottie, I'm Vincenzo-- Vickers, I go by that most often." he said then offered a handshake. She looked really young "Are you starting your First Year in Hogwarts this term?"

Resting her hands on her hips ,Cassia was really enjoying the chat with Ari. As a talkative girl she had been worried about waiting for the train alone. But that fortunately didn't happen which was a delightful thing. "No I actually I only know one girl besides you," Cassia said remembering that in her first weeks of Hogwarts last year she had encountered a Gryffindor girl who was nice and led Cassia because the clueless firstie was lost as usual, "Her name is Ronnie," Cassia told Ari. Though Cassia didn't remembered coming by the girl any other time.

Shaking her head," No actually I don't know him," Cassia answered when Ari asked about a boy named Mordred. "I haven't met many older students," Cassia explained. Probably older students don't like spending time with firsties or talkative ,curious firsties when it came to Cassia."By the what what year are you in?" Cassia asked she guessed that Ari was older but by how many years?

Cassia watched how Ari put Pluto into its cage and couldn't help herself not ask, "Erm..Could I you know play with Pluto at Hogwarts?" Cassia was so fond of cats and she longed for her two cats back at home. And she loved her owl a lot too but her favorite pet was a cat she just thought like having an owl would be a nice change which was but that didn't decrease her fondness of cats. She hoped Ari wouldn't mind and she seemed to be a nice person so hopefully it would be fine by her.

The twelve year old understood Ari's excitment. Probably as an older student and having spent more time in Hogwarts than Cassia, Ari ould miss the castle even more. Cassia grinned a toothy childish grin at Ari's comment, "Yup I'm no firstie anymore. And I'm so eager to meet the new firsties," And she had already met one and enjoyed being older. It was great feeling!

The excitement was activated when mentioning the cool hidden stuff that are happening," Yeah I bet there so may things going on and we don't know about them." Cassia agreed. "I hope in this up coming term will have more excitement," Cassia said enthusiastically. The girl could easily be excited about the simplest things.

It truly was. A complete accident! A terrible one! No one but the trunk was injured, so it was... quite a disappointment, come to really think of it. No, honestly, good thing her luggage didn't fall on top of an annoying little kid, because there would've been crying involved and a lot of rolling of the eyes on behalf of Lottie. So, yeah. Good thing.

"It was," she said, faking the saddest tone she could muster. It was her first time, you know? She was doing amazingly well, even getting someone to help her without asking for it. Smirk. Oh. Vincenzo. That was kind of an exotic name. Funny she ought to think that. "Vickers." SMILE. They were on those terms. She wasn't calling him Vincenzo when she'd rather have him call her Lottie. "My name's actually Lotus, but I go by Lottie," she nodded, feeling the need to explain this because of the way he introduced himself. GRANTED, she only went by Lottie by some people, not everyone. Mostly family and the ones she considered cool enough to address her this way.

Oh? A handshake? Well, no. Her eyes looked curiously at the hand, she placed her fingers on top of his, "I'm a girl, you're supposed to kiss my hand," not shake it. The sweetest innocent smile on her face as she said this. Her words followed more words as she answered his question, "First! Yes!" she BEAMED, obviously excited over this fact, "I mean, yes, this will be my first year at Hogwarts...," she eyed him, blue eyes scanning him, "...is this your last?" the tiny hint of sadness in her tone wasn't faked at all, it was real this time.

Waiting to see what his friend had thought about the coffee flavoured chocolate really had been the most interesting thing that Patrick had dealt with over the summer seeing as it was business as usual at the shop which really had been quite nice seeing as it had meant that there was nothing that could have possibly stressed him out. Taking a piece of chocolate from the box, he popped it into his mouth before listening to Kendall talk about people that had ones to follow rules; of course he had already thought about that so there wasn't a point in reiterating it. As soon as he finished eating the chocolate, he thought about what to say seeing as there wasn't a point in being random for no reason. "It really is, I mean it just spoils any real fun and I'd rather not be like that." Sure he was a rule follower when it was necessary like in classes or whatnot but in everything else, he wasn't going to let rules to stop him from being able to just go on to do whatever he had wanted. Getting on the train was definitely going to be amusing considering at the rate they were going with the different kinds of chocolate, there was no chance of them being able to sit still but that was perfectly alright with him considering just sitting there for a certain amount of time was no fun either. "Oh there was a few things that I added, but I was wondering if you could sketch out what he'd look like from my description cause I was probably going to dress up as my superhero for Halloween this year. I brought a few things with me." He wasn't going to randomly wear it when there wasn't a point, although the cape would have come out at times just because it could.

Once she had mentioned about him holding onto the boxes of chocolate that he had brought from the shop for now, he nodded before speaking. "Sure, I'll just section it off from the rest of the chocolate so that I know to give it back to you later on." He carefully set the boxes back into his bag before focusing back on the whole experiment that was going to be pretty much a scientific breakthrough if it had worked since it would have give people more energy and the power to start bouncing off walls like a rubber ball, not that that was entirely a good thing at times but it wasn't exactly a bad one either. Taking another couple truffles, he had popped them into his mouth one after the other and just letting the flavours dance across his palate; they really were good even if he had known that already thanks to testing them before packing them in the box. The mention of the healer being around had made him wonder if she was seeing things but once he had turned his head and noticed the woman, he couldn't help but chuckle. "It is, huh.. maybe she knows we're around." Of course that was a joke but he couldn't help but wonder why she was in the station after all.

Sophie did not like the sound of that. She frowned at Oakey as he tried to explain himself, not doing a very good job after Jarvis' comment.

Oakey's reactions weren't helping him either. If that Felicity girl was really a nobody, why was he getting so nervous then? The girl didn't take her eyes off Oakey while he tried to explain himself better. Sophie eyed his hand on her shoulder before looking back at him. "When are you telling her?" She asked seriously. He WOULD tell her, right? He had to! Since Felicity was a nobody, what was the harm, eh??

Sophie didn't like this story one bit. "Look, Oakey, if you want to be with that Felicity person, who you spent your summer living with..." How weird did that sound?? So weird! "...just be sure not to hurt Laura's feelings." Or he would have to deal with Sophie herself, Ella and Carigan, she was sure. Even if they weren't on the greatest terms, Sophie knew they wouldn't like it if Laura was hurt.

John listened as Sophie stood up for her friend, who that kid was probably cheating on. When had she gotten this... menacing? She hadn't said anything threatening, but that was a very disturbing look on her face. He wasn't used to seeing her acting that way and got even more worried. Though that probably meant she knew how to stand up for herself now as well, right?

And that was good.

He shook those thoughts form his head as he looked at Jarvis Toombs. Where did he know this name from again?? John watched without much enthusiasm as the man showed him a sickle and started his mini speech. "Right." He looked down at the sickle that Jarvis was playing with when he was asked if it looked tampered. "No, it doesn't." He answered casually, still looking at the coin.

Was this man normal?? He seemed like a character that came out of a book...

Oakey could tell Sophie was not the right person to tell first. He imagined Mordy would have probably have been the better person to inform before anyone. His best bud would have helped him figure this out."It's not like that!" He shot a glance back to Jarvis, who made him slip up and admit to having spent a whole summer with Felicity. "Sophie, our summer was a bit more complicated than that, but if you want me to tell Laura than fine!" Oakey stormed off in the other direction. Leaving Jarvis with the Campbells, and Oakey's Luggage.


Alright, good. Jarvis responded as John said his sickle was not tampered with. "So my trick will be to make the coin teleport." Jarvis clutched the sickle into his right hand and held it out. "First thing I need you to do John is grab my wrist, like this." As Jarvis moved his left hand under his right wrist he quickly dropped the sickle into his left hand. He watched as Oakey stubbornly stomped off back towards the way they came.
"Oi, Oakey! You have to put your stuff into the trains! Where you going

Oakey stopped about just as Jarvis called him back. "I'm gonna go find Laura!" Oakey called back angrily.

"Then get your stuff onto the train at least! I'm not doing it for you, I'm busy!" Jarvis called back, couldn't Oakey tell he had an audience.

Oakey quickly stomped back, and gave Sophie a look of annoyance. Not towards her specifically but with the situation had gotten himself into. It seemed he would have a pretty lonely ride up to Hogwarts this year. He mumbled something about Jarvis' tricks being stupid and lame while he loaded his stuff onto the train. He was done talking to everyone here for now.

Elliot smirked and chuckled a little. She felt like she was clever, having to explain to him all this stuff. Hmph. "Well, basically we have a hat that looks at your head and tells where you belong. And the houses are..." she stopped, and thought for a moment. "Well, the Ravenclaws are the smart ones. That's where I am," she smirked smugly. "Gryffindors are brave," and foolish, but she left that part out. "Hufflepuffs are...er, nice?" she guessed. But not ALL of them were. "ANd Slytherins are...cunning? Ambitious. Somewhat similar to us Ravenclaws. It builds camaraderie between those of us in the same house and apparently creates enough competition for us to try hard and stuff..." she finished explained and smiled. Yep. She hoped he had a general grasp of the house system, now. And he never went to boarding school?! "Well, Hogwarts isn't just any boarding school...but you'll figure that out on your own," she said with a sigh.

Starestarestare. She caught him staring into her eyes. It made her feel...well, she HAD to look away, because she was so close to just bursting out into uncharacteristic giggles it wasn't even funny. But she did manage a small smile. He called her nice. PHA! "No, no, Ezra. I am nice to you because I actually enjoy your company. But to those who aren't lucky..." her eyes became cloudy. "I can be pretty nasty. But hey, that just means I don't let people step all over me." Yeah. Elliot wasn't someone who was easily convinced of something, nor was she someone to really mess with.

Elliot had to cover her mouth with her free hand to stop herself from convulsing in a fit of laughter. "Oh no, Ezra, I'm not a princess." She stated boldly, putting her hand on her hip. "I like to go by Empress Elliot." Yeah, Elliot liked to be in charge. And princesses..were rarely in charge. Plus Empress sounded so much more powerful.

The blonde haired girl watched the boy's interaction with his...bat. It was strange looking, really. But Ezzi was so sweet to him. Elliot almost longed...to be like that. Almost being the key word. "I will pet his head, though," she said, and she pet the top of his head gently. He started to lick her hand, and Elliot giggled. GIGGLED. ELLIOT NEVER GIGGLED. At the sound of it, she immediately stopped, and put BOTH her hands over her mouth. OH NO! "S-sorry. But it did tickle..." she said softly..giving Ezra one of her majestic gazes. ANd a few blinks of those blue eyes of hers.

Her name is Lotus "Like the flower..." his smile widens a bit. It fits her he thought, but has resolved to address her as Lottie since thats what she said first, a preference he thought the same way he did with Vickers.

Then she lay her hand on his but not in the usual manner of a handshake, and the next words from her got him blinking again, not to mention slightly agape. "Kiss your hand?.." he murmured, still incredibly polite. But within him his inner OCD-ish nature squirmed as his memory sped through years of nagging advices his Grandmother taught him about etiquette. They werent in a formal gathering, and he had just met the young girl and that... well she was a young girl. Whoever greeted kids that way in this day and age anyway?

But manners are manners and they are in a public setting. "Very well..." he says as he grips her hand lightly and bows low from his waist, hovering his head over the knuckles of her small hand, his lips close to it but not touching. He remembered this was how the older fogies greeted his Grandmother at an event and she had gloves on.

He straightened up and gently let go of her hand before she insist on him actually kissing it, nodding his head and smiling when she confirms that she was an incoming freshman. But that smile falters a bit when she asked if this was his last "Yes.. I'm on the graduating class this year." and he's been trying not to feel down about that, at least not yet. "But as Freshmen you'd get to ride the boat across the lake towards the castle-- its a tradition of Hogwarts to welcome new students that way. And then of course theres the Sorting Ceremony."

As she spoke, Ace's mind took notes.

Canary. First Year. Micha. Foreign, shy.

"It's my first year too," he admitted, shaking her hand after a moment or two. His grin turned amused, knowing that she felt nervous, as a new kid would. "So I guess we will never know how long the train is going to take. We're both useless."

He stepped away from his luggage and leaned over to the bird. "What's the name?"
Pets. One thing he could never understand the appeal of. Birds in particular he could possibly manage to like. They were generally friendly creatures that could be quite useful. Especially owls.
Even still, he could never own one himself.

"Are birds your favourite?" That could tell him a couple more things...

Lottie could very easily correct him. It was a common misconception, not like the flower but like the plant. Then again, the flower was also named after the plant, so, what needed correction? Nothing, apparently. So, she smiled, "Exactly like the flower," smart boy, this one.

Her smile only widened because of his... and faltered as soon as his. She heard him. Why wouldn't she? She had excellent hearing. And so Lottie nodded as a way of reply. He could see why he'd hesitate. This was the sort of thing men did on formal gatherings when introduced to some women. They were neither. Doesn't mean he shouldn't pick up on a few things, right? Etiquette and manners didn't seem to be present when she giggled after he followed with her request. He was kind of funny. Also, good call on him, not kissing her hand, because she kind of forgot about the touching bit a little...

... clearly, Lottie didn't think it through.

Nothing was said. The giggling was enough, yes? But then she took her hand back and did a little bow of the head. It was indeed very nice to meet you, Vickers.

Was he sad about leaving? Her eyes scanned the platform until they landed on her father. She could understand why he'd feel a bit sad about leaving something behind. But..., "I'm sure this will be an incredible year for you, and what comes after even more incredible," she said, all matter-of-factly. Incredible year, yeah, because he just met Lotus Acacia Wisteria, and there was always something exciting when one left certain things behind. Like... in her case, magic.

Oh? The boat ride? "Yes, so I've been told," by her family and the rest of the acquaintances that have gone to Hogwarts, "Do you think the Giant Squid will make an appearance, Vickers?" Otherwise, the boat ride might be kinda dull, you know? To an excitable eleven year-old, anyway.

Yay! Someone her age! Ronnie smiled. "Same." she answered, nodding. "I swear, there are barley any people at Hogwarts that are fifth years. Heck, I feel like I'm the only fifth year Gryffindor!" she said with a laugh. Sure, Jordan and Rose were both Lions and fifth years but they had totally just disappeared out of nowhere in their third year. Ronnie was real curious about where they went...maybe they transferred to a different school or something?

Ronnie smiled. "Sure!" she said, walking up and gripping the trolley. "Ready?" she asked, looking at Logan.

She gave a sigh of relief. It was Ace's first year too. Maybe they could be clueless together. Micha relaxed a little and managed to smile. "I suppose not," she laughed. Of course, they could always ask somebody standing around, but that was another matter.

She looked over at Norman as Ace gestured to the cage. "His name is Norman," she explained. "Do you like birds?" she asked. From the way he was looking at the cage it was hard to tell.

She shrugged. "I don't know about favorite, but I do quite like them. They're smart." Micha had trouble picking favorites, so generally she tried not to. She liked most animals, and most colors, and most activities- most everything, really. She couldn't just pick something and stay with it; variety is the spice of life, as they say.

Though people tend to be a different matter. She could stay around the same people forever.

"You know Jacen, the sooner you start acting like a responsible sixteen year old, the sooner I'll lighten up on you." Pointing her wand at his feet she removed the jinx. "Now you can stand without falling on your face." Well he could stand anyway. The falling on his face depended on his own coordination.

She then pointed her wand at his clothes and rid them of the blood stains. "Don't say I never did anything for you."

"Have you ever seen a responsible 16 year old?"
*Dusting himself off Jacen smirked over at her. Standing up he looked around. For the first time ever he realized he was missing something. His friends. Back at Durmstrang to say he was popular was an understatement. It was something he took for granted.*

"Do you really have to watch me like a hawk? Id like to try and make friends."

Now it's time to back to Hogwarts again.

The blonde guy walked around the south platform. He didn't have a very nice summer. At first he thought that he could spend his summer time with Zhenya, his girlfriend. But she was dissapeared since last term and no one let him know about her condition, including Dimitri her stupid brother. Huh. He couldn't resist to stop thinking about her even just for a second. Why?

Sigh.

Gary just exhaled. He stopped walking for a while and tied up his shoelace. His blue eyes spotted someone so familiar who was standing not too far from him. Tiffany. Talking about her, suddenly he reminded about what happened to them at the last train. Did she got mad at him? Because suddenly she left him when they were talking each other. And know, should he come to her? What if she didn't want to talk with him anymore? And if she was mad, what was the reason?

He walked closer to that girl and tapped her shoulder gently. "Tiffany.." said him softly. And what should he say? The blonde guy cleared his throat and braced himself. Thinking what should he say to her.

Kalo gripped her trolley. The south end was much less crowded, so she had made her way down. He parents had seen her off outside the station, so she was alone. She watched people interact and tried to guess what houses they were in to pass the time. Her parents of course, had told her all about the four houses of hogwarts. She hoped Angel would get here soon, she was one of the only people that didn't annoy Kalo, though she did ramble a bit much...

Angel had barely been at the station for 5 minutes, but she'd already lost her brother... again... oh well, she figured he'd show up soon enough, afterall he had to show up before they got to Hogwarts... didn't he? She figured he'd have to at least... now would Alexa be here? What about Kalo? She'd run into the other girl while she was shopping... conveniently that was also without Andrew... did she even know of her brother's existance?

Oh well... looking around she saw that Kalo was actually there holding onto a trolley, almost grateful for once that she had Andrew who was taking her trunk for her. Running over to Kalo she held onto the cat in her arms that seemed to be annoyed at the new speed, so she pet it's head as she ran to somewhat console her.

Jumping to a halt she grinned at Kalo, as she fought to stop Lofty jumping out of her arms. She'd gotten it recently, from a muggle pet store, a parting gift from her parents who'd bought it while she was in diagon alley with her brother. "Heya Kalo, how are you?"

Kalo blinked at Angel, shcoked by her sudden closeness. She rolled her eyes and smiled a little in return. "I'm fine," she replied a little stiffly. Then her eyes found the cat in Angel's arms. "It's... so cute" she mumbled, reaching out to stroke it.

Zarifa moved slowly to the one of the edges of the platform. She was all alone and had all of her things plus her cute little purple owl in her cage which was slowly hooting. "Its okay" she told mauve while sticking a finger through the cage to pet her head.

she looked around to see alot of people, none which she knew.

"As a matter of fact I have. I've seen plenty of them and I expect you to be one too." That didn't mean she thought he shouldn't have fun, she just wanted him to be responsible and at least try to do the right thing.

"I'm afraid you're stuck with me by your side until we get to school. I promised your mum I would make sure you got there and that's exactly what I'm going to do. You'll have plenty of time to make friends at school. Who knows, maybe you'll even meet a few on the train." Just because she was there didn't mean he couldn't talk to other kids. She was sure some of those kids would love to know what he did to land himself stuck with the evil healer by his side.

"You know what people say about expectations..."
*Jacen mumbled as he looked around at his new fellow students. He could careless about being a good and responsible person. That was Cecelia's role in the family. Jacen was just fine having fun and doing what he wanted.*

"I doubt I'll be making many friends on this train ride."
*He had no doubt that he would meet people but none that would be friend worthy. The ones who would sit with a healer on the way up to school were most likely sickly nerds. Yes Jacen was known as a popular person back home. But this wasn't home and riding to school with a teacher let alone a family member made him look like a baby and was social suicide.*

Zarifa wasnt watchin where she was moving, she was mostly interested in not getting trampled dor run over when she didnt notice a boy infront of her. She ended up setting on his toes with her heels. She didnt know what to say she just stood there with a shocked look on her face.

Still...the train isn't arriving and not so many people did come to the south end of the station, at least not those familiar faces though. Maybe she should go back to the north where her mum was waiting at and people seem to like the north end more since it was more crowded there than here. Tiffany pouted a bit as her eyes darted around. One last look, to find someone she knows.

All of a sudden, she felt like someone has tapped her on the shoulder. The lioness turned around as she was guessing who it would be when she saw the Slytherin standing behind her. Her smile vanished all at once as she remembered their conversation at the last train. It was him, Gerald Rush. The boy who was really stubborn that didn't even know his problems when she told him about that directly. Tiffany has told herself by then that she was not going to talk to him anymore because she just couldn't put up with him for even one more second. After that ride, she has nearly forgotten all of that and filled herself with the wonderful moments spending with her family during the summer. But now she saw him again, which reminds her of it.

She wanted to just pretending that she didn't know him and walk away like she did last term but she didn't want to be that rude. After all Gary was her friend and the only emotion she felt right now, was not frustration. She wasn't even mad at him. It was just so awkward. The kind of awkwardness that she hasn't feel that with anyone else. "Hi,"she replied as she tried to avoid any eye contact with him. She didn't know what she should way other than 'Hi'. There was nothing she wanted to say, not a single word.

Choosing to ignore Jacen's little comment Cece put her arm around her little cousin's shoulders. "Come on now, it won't be that bad. I promise." She wasn't going to make him sit right next to her after all. He could sit across from her.

"If it'll make you feel any better, we could say you're accompanying me to school. After all, not only did I promise your mum I'd make sure you got there, but I believe you promised your dad, my uncle, that you would make sure nothing happened to me." Looking down she knew he knew what she was talking about here.

Oh. Wow.

Logan smiled as she said she was the same age as him. The more the merrier. "I know. I know Ness and my brother and... that's about it." Too bad neither were lions and could keep her company. "If I become a Gryffindor you will have me." And he would be her friend even if he wasn't because this girl was just nice.

He waited for her to grip the trolley and nodded when she asked if he was ready. Carefully he started pushing it forward.
