:choochoo: All aboard! :choochoo:

Front of the train getting full? No worries, there's plenty of room in the back cars. Mind your step and take small children by the hand. Kiss your Ma and your Pa, get the last jab in at your younger siblings, but don't dally!

The Hogwarts Express will be pulling out soon, headed to Hogwarts for another magical year. You may RP your character boarding the train here, saying their goodbyes, and meeting new Hogwarts students.

She sounded as though, for some reason, they couldn't still do all of those things. "It can be a happy occasion. We just... have to have the right perspective. Now isn't the time to be sad." Though he certainly felt sad himself. He watched her for a few moment before adding, "It's not the end. Right here, right now, this is the beginning of a whole new adventure. It's going to be what we make of it - so let's make it good, okay?" He was smiling now, and he nudged her gently in the side with his elbow as if to say, Cheer up, bud.

Did he have a pet? Well... "I'm not much of a cat person" - as he looked at Louisa's basket, he remembered why he preferred his crups - "and owls aren't my favorite either." They were mean and they POOPED and they pecked at fingers and they made little kids BLEED.

"I had an owl my first year. That was enough of that." Bad experience. "But, I mean, I have pets at home, if you could call it that... my dad's a Magizoologist, y'know." Did she know? He wasn't sure. "But I spend enough of my time at the Magical Creatures Sanctuary, so it's okay. I get my fair share of time with 'em." He didn't want her to feel BAD that he didn't have a pet with him. He just... didn't want one. Or, at least, any of the permitted creatures.

Max looked at her cat basket once more and gestured to them. "Sorry if this is a silly question, but... cats? Two?" Sounded like two. But why? It didn't MATTER, but Max was curious nonetheless.

Louisa didn't understand how he had the strength to talk so lively and think so optimistically. Was she like that too? Her eyes were looking at him sideways as he insisted they could do that still. Well HE could. "I don't know.. maybe as a Head Girl I can't go around telling firsties that the sorting hat will poke through their brains?" Which... was her original idea. Horrible? It sounded fun few months ago. AND HE NUDGED HER. Louisa instinctively, moved away with a panicked face. She recovered quickly when she saw the smile and controlled her breathing again. "S-sorry. I... am jumpy a bit." More than a bit. She didn't seem to let anyone get so close to her, no hugs, no playful nudges, no hair-playing, no nothing. She didn't bear it.

Then the beginning of a new start speech started, now that made the girl shift on her trunk to look directly at the boy's face, interested. Yeah.. new start... the beginning of their next adventure, or whatever Max said. Only... Louisa's face was concerned then, "But.. what if... you can't start a new journey? What if you're not ready yet?" What if the dark wizard's hand still twisted your hair painfully in your dreams? What if your friend was probably dead because he had to save you? "Like, you can't let go of certain things." She added as a clarification, a bit more quietly.

It turned out that he didn't have a pet. But he did stay at the sanctuary a lot, and his dad was... she gasped faintly surprised, "A Magizoologist? I didn't know that. That's cool." She wasn't very fond of creatures, other than for experiments purposes but she still found it cool. "I don't know what mine's job is. He says it's a secret." She stated coolly, "I actually just met him this summer so it doesn't matter. My stepdad, however, publishes books." He was a boring muggle with a boring occupation. Her whole family was boring actually, and she thought that she was the balance for their cool meter.

Her eyes followed his to where her cats' basket sat. "They were three.." she said quietly, again, before clearing her throat and explaining, "Kitty died five years ago. Viola was my fifteenth birthday present from one of my friends and the third little kitten was given to me in my seventeenth birthday this summer. I haven't named her yet." She shoved her hands in her hoodie's pocket, along with the wand. "Cats can be really cute. Viola's incredibly stubborn, Paulie thinks we don't get along because she's exactly like me." Max knew Paulie, right? Their former Head Boy. "Are you more of a dog person then?" She asked, feeling VERY at ease with this light subject taking most of their conversation.

*Pulling his trunk along with him he loaded it onto the train. Turning back to Cece he put his hands in the air like the trunk had disappeared.*
"There. You can go now Cece. I don't plan on jumping out of a moving train today."
After handing a flyer to the woman she turned to the older boy and offered him one as well. "Here you go, this girl is going crazy about her bat, maybe you've seen it." Not that she cared whether or not that girl found her bat because she had yelled at her and threatened her for no reason.

Felix shifted a bit in her hands. "Oh hush, you have no reason to be complaining, I'm the one doing all the walking." she said with a roll of her eyes.

Really, someone was looking for a bat that wasn't even missing yet? Glaring at the child she handed the flyer back. "If I see this bat in ten years I'll let you know." Seriousley, how could someone know the exact date a bat would come up missing ten years from now?
When she heard the woman speaking again she turned her attention back to her. At first she was a bit confused by what she was saying. The bat wasn't going to be missing, it already was. Her brows crinkled as her eyes fell to the flyers still in her hand. Her eyes skimmed the contents on the page until she saw it...2088...

"HAHAHAHA!!!"

She stopped laughing for a bit then looked down at the paper again before snickering. "Stupid older kid, not so smart now huh?" She muttered, not so anyone could hear but then if that was the case she should have said it quieter. She shook her head, remembering how intimidating the girl had looked while shouting up at her but in the end she wasn't that bright.

"That's classic, then they called us stupid for climbing the train while she's out looking for a bat that technically isn't missing," according to this piece of paper. This all had to nullify her punishment...right?

*Fine if she was going to follow him around then she better keep up. Cutting into the crowd he tried to lose her.*

Let the games begin.

Pulling his luggage behind him, Ace casually brought himself beside the girl. Setting his luggage steady, he stood there for a bit, pretending he was just waiting for the train beside her and stealing a couple glances now and then.

"So..." He began, leaning a bit on his luggage and staring out in the direction the train should be arriving from. "How much longer do you think it's going to be?"

Taking a look over at her, finally, he grinned largely. "People call me Ace. What's your name?"

And what could you be useful for?
Micha looked over as a voice came from her side, stirring Norman from his slumber. "Shh," she hushed the canary quietly, "go back to sleep." And as for the voice...

The girl turned, looking the boy over. She shrugged. "I'm not sure," she answered, trying to hide her accent, "it's my first year." He seemed nice enough. He had a big smile.

"I'm Micha," she said, extending a hand in greeting. Did they shake hands here? Or was that too formal? She considered dropping her hand, but left it raised for fear of the motion becoming awkward. Aheh. "Nice to meet you, Ace."

Max knew Paulie, right? Their former Head Boy. "Are you more of a dog person then?" She asked, feeling VERY at ease with this light subject taking most of their conversation.

...HEAD GIRL?

"Head Girl?! No way! That's awesome, Louisa!" He would never tell a soul, but he had always hoped Louisa would be Head Girl over Kurumi. A big grin was back across Max's face, until... he realized her problem. "Oh," he murmured thoughtfully. He paused for a long moment, looking down at his hands and leaning back against the wall. Finally, he said slowly, "I think... just because you're in a position of power doesn't mean your life needs to be boring and lack fun and... and spontaneity, right?" His eyes rose to meet hers now and he rubbed the back of his neck, trying to find the right words to soothe her worries.

"I don't see why you can't playfully tease, then help them..." Right? "If anything, I think you could use this to your advantage - first years will see your badge and trust your opinion, so they'll be really gullible and believe anything you say. I mean, it's not necessarily mean because you'll ultimately calm their fears and tell them the truth, right? Maybe even joking around with them will make them realize how silly their fears actually are after you mess with them a little, laugh, and reassure them, 'No, I'm definitely kidding, everything will be fine,' or whatever. Right?" Maybe?

Max wasn't trying to get Louisa into trouble, by any means - he just wanted to help her feel better. And he did believe Louisa should be able to enjoy herself, even as Head Girl.

When she jumped at his gentle nudge, Max's eyebrows shot upwards and he frowned. "Sorry, I didn't mean to..." To... tickle her? Is that why she jumped? But she looked... horrified that he had come so close to her. Was she jumpy because of him? He wasn't sure, but he knew he wasn't going to come too close to her again. Did he smell? He turned his gaze downward and looked at his clothing. He had definitely showered and put on fresh clothes before his voyage to the train...

He was glad she managed to recover well, though, as she didn't seem to have a problem talking to him, at the very least. "Hmm." Those were excellent questions. Max cleared his throat nervously, not exactly knowing what the 'right' thing to say was. "Well," he began quietly, "I know it can be really hard to... let go of things. Anything, even the smallest problems. But... when you say you can't let go of something, that's when you're in trouble. Letting go of something... is all about mindset?" He looked at her, hoping he was treading lightly enough that he wasn't going to upset her or undermine her feelings at all. "When you say you can't let go of something, you've made up your mind that you're not going to be able to let it go. But if you change the way you think about these... 'certain things'... and say to yourself - even though it probably won't be easy - 'Hey, I can try to let go of this'... then... maybe you'll be able to make small steps in the direction of recovery?"

Max's face was droopy with concern and empathy as he looked at Louisa. She was sad, so he was sad. He rubbed the knuckle of his opposite thumb in circles and added, "I know it can be hard or... seem impossible to get over things. Even the worst of the worst things. And... sometimes it takes time to get over things. So... maybe you can't get over... this... right now, but perhaps you can take small steps? By... having the mindset and truly hoping that one day it'll be better? And... y'know? Hogwarts can be good for distractions. Your friends are here for you," he grinned encouragingly, unsure if he was considered a 'friend' but still wanting to let her know he cared.

"And school work and Head Girl duties can help take your mind off things, too. You just... have to embrace the good things - the things that will make you happy right now. Or even just one happy thing. Just... anything to make you feel better. You know? This new journey - which it is, whether you're ready for it or not - can be as good or bad as you'll allow it to be. Perspective."

Max wasn't going to ask what she was talking about, but he sure hoped he was helping at least a little bit and not making her feel worse.

"Yeah," he smiled. His dad did have a pretty cool job. Max was learning to appreciate that more, as he was nearing his own time to get out in the world and figure out what he wanted to do with his life. "A secret? That sounds pretty cool." Oh. He had been absent from her life for... seventeen years of her life? Max didn't like that, but he didn't comment on it. "A book publisher sounds like an interesting job." BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS. Max LOVED his books, but... would he want to pursue that kind of profession? Probably not. Too dull and impersonal.

Oh. Max's face fell once more and he nodded solemnly as Louisa explained the cat situation. "I'm really sorry." He shouldn't have even asked. "I bet they can," he nodded. He had never met a cute cat - he had also never tried to seek out a cute cat - but he was sure they were out there. He chuckled at Paulie's comparison of Louisa to her cat. "For sure. I'm sure one day I'll get some normal dogs when I'm living on my own, but for now I have five crups at home." His house was a ZOO.

With her luggage already on the train, Delphinia sort of just stood by awkwardly, trying to stay out of the way of fellow peers boarding the train and saying their goodbyes to their families. One arm wrapped protectively over her chest, the opposite arm's hand came up to tug on the ends of her short brown hair.

Artemis would have been there with her, waiting to wave goodbye as the train left the station, had Delphinia not insisted it wasn't necessary. That at the age of sixteen she was more than capable of boarding the train alone when the time came to leave. Not that, that had convinced the older woman. Artie still wouldn't have left, if Delphi hadn't promised that Nathaniel would find her any minute as they had 'planned'.

In all honesty, Delphi hadn't wanted Artie to waste her time. It was no big deal, really. Just leaving for another year of school.. silently, staring at her shoes, the young girl wished her older brother would have appeared that morning to see her off.

Of course, John wasn't evil, so he wouldn't let Oakey's head explode, but before he could do anything about it, Jarvis Toombs lifted the spell. Okay then. That was enough for John anyway. Hopefully the teenager learned his lesson.

Sophie watched with wide eyes as Oakey's face turned bright red and he started to cry! Her fellow Hufflepuff was crying! She had never seen Oakey cry before. It was SO sad!

"Dad!" She exclaimed looking up at her father and pulling his arm. She knew it had been him straight away. But once she looked back at Oakey, it seemed like the spell had stopped. Merlin, she was upset with Oakey, but not THAT much! "I'm so sorry, Oakey!" The badger was momentarily back to her normal self. Seeing Oakey cry was very shocking.

Before she could realise it, though, that Jarvis person was already telling them who Felicity was. Sophie's eyes widened once again and her expression became almost angry immediately. "What??" She turned to Oakey. "Your girlfriend?" She asked in disbelief. Sophie was pretty sure Laura and Oakey were a thing already. She had seen them together with her own eyes back in Diagon Alley!

Sophie wasn't perfectly fine with Laura yet, but that was NOT acceptable! "Oakey, how can you do that to Laura???" No big efforts to hide the indignation tone of her voice. He was sorry? What??? Was that even good enough?? "You have TWO girlfriends at the same time??" So non-Hufflepuff of him!!

This Oakey kid was a terrible company. John deeply hoped Sophie wasn't really friends with him and would stop hanging out with this kind of people. Was he even a Hufflepuff? Probably not. The kid had TWO girlfriends at the same time?? That awarded Oakey another hard stare from John. No spells this time, though.

This boy needed a better education.

John was so shocked at that teenager's actions that he only half listened as Jarvis Toombs explained the muggle magic tricks issue. "Yeah, I know about muggle magic tricks." He said as he still eyed Oakey from the corner of his eye. "They are kind of foolish, are they not?" Though John had to agree they could be entertaining sometimes. "Sure, why not." He would watch the coin trick.

But I still have my eyes on you, Oakey.

His face said it all.

Oakey finally stood up. He gave Mr.Campbell an apologetic look. He really was harmless, or at least he believed he was. Mr.Campbell just needed to get to know him better. Wiping the sweat from his forehead he noticed he was getting nasty stares again, what'd he do this time?

Sophie was pretty quick with that answer!"Wha....? No I only have one girlfriend. It's Laura." He shot Jarvis a mean glare as he was sure it him who spilled the beans. "Felicity, she's just a girl that's a friend."

"That she lived with you practically all summer." Jarvis interrupted as he went through his pocket for a sickle.

"That she lived with me all summer, right."
Oakey continued repeating what Jarvis said."H-hey!" Jarvis wasn't helping one bit. "Jarvis tell them she's a nobody!" Oakey was getting desperate, there was no way he could keep Felicity a secret from Laura now. Not with Sophie knowing, she was sure to inform Ella. He reached a hand out and planted it firmly on Sophie's shoulder. "Sophie, please you can't let Laura now about my time with Felicity in America! If I know Laura, she'd freak out."

Hearing that really ticked him off. He took the sickle form his pocket and flicked it at Oakey's face nailing him in-between the eyes.
"She most certainly will be if she isn't now." Did Oakey even tell Felicity about this Laura girl. reaching down he grabbed the sickle and turned back around towards John. "You ready for this John." Jarvis said thrilled. "My favorite thing about muggle coin tricks is the trickery and deception. You really need to fool the Audience into thinking the coin is gone." It was much more fun really making the coins disappear before muggles. They would gasp as the coin vanished before it landed back into his hands. Then he'd have to book it out of there the moment the MLE showed up.

He turned the sickle through his knuckles smoothly then flipped it into his right hand. All right. "Does this sickle look tampered with in any way?" Jarvis asked his onlooker.

Louisa's solemn poker face HAD to beam when Max seemingly exploded with joy, she felt something positive creep into her chest as her mouth twitched into a smile - an uncertain smile. But she was certainly proud that her fellow Ravenclaw was happy for her, the fact that a Ravenclaw was the Head Girl this term made her proud! She was more than proud when she got the badge; she was excited ecstatic and very happily shocked. Now, though, Max made her old proud feeling come back, she didn't feel the excitement but proud was good enough. "Thank you," was her reply before he started suggesting how she could work this fun thing and her responsibility as a student leader.

The Ravenclaw girl nodded here and there when he spoke, everything he said made sense and sounded pretty easy. Balance jokes with facts, teasing with helping, and take advantage of the fact that firsties look up to whoever is wearing the badge.... which, by the way, was probably stuffed deep down in her trunk. Ugh, she gotta take that out once they got on the train. Her mouth twitched again into a small smile before faltering quickly, "How did you learn all that?" She read books. She made experiments on people, animals and pygmy puffs coz they were NOT animals in her opinion and yet she couldn't possibly come up with this explanation of responsibility and fun. Maybe that was why she usually messed up a lot with the others?

Oh, no, his intellectuality didn't stop there. The more he talked, the more Louisa felt her eyes getting wet. She wasn't one to weep easily, but she DID tear up. She knew some of what he was saying but hearing it from another, no - hearing it from someone who didn't even know what you're talking about, made it much more real and sensible. "Y-yes." She cleared her throat, blinked and looked down at her basket. "Yes. I should start telling myself to let go." And the more importantly, "Baby steps." She attempted a smile in his direction, she didn't want to take this to a dramatic emotional break down, which might actually happen if she keeps talking about it. Was Max always this deep and logical? "Are you always this deep and logical?" She found her old self show again, spontaneous and straight.

Sorry about her Kitty? That would've been a really nice thing to say... two weeks ago. Now it made her purse her lips and frown at the memory, she mumbled a thank you before raising her feet up and hugging her legs. Five crups?! Louisa turned to look at him again with slight surprise, "Wow. You have five crups as pets? Like you take care of them and everything?" That seemed like a lot of work... dangerous work. "How does your mom feel about cleaning-up the house with five Crups?" THAT was definitely an important questions.

"Nice to meet you too Beezus!" Ariella looked over at her grandmother straight in the eye and nodded her head towards her, "Ma'am..."

She was slightly surprised when Beezus's grandmother jumped into the conversation, asking some question of her own...

"Well, this is my first year at Hogwarts! I'm really excited about the sorting but so far I've been rooting for Ravenclaw! I think it will fit me best..." She said with her eyes sparkling with excitment, even this old womens foul attidute couldn't damper her excitement about starting school...
The girl just earned herself another beaming smile from the Ravenclaw. Hmm. Why was she so smiley today, huh? Probably because her smiles were confined in that old house she spent her summer. With only her authoritarian grandmother and the woman's stuck up cat, it wasn't such a wonder why she was ecstatic to see new people.

With hardly any change in expression, the old woman somewhat nodded as the little girl acknowledged her.

More nodding. "Ravenclaw is it?" she echoed autocratically. The same house as her granddaughter then. House of those with wits. Not house of reckless, incompetent kids. Nope. But who knows, really? She didn't know the girl. Perhaps her true personality far more than exceeded the characteristics she displayed then and there. Although, first impressions last quite a lot, don't it?

For seconds, she thought her Grandmother was going to say something unpleasant. Yet the abominable words never flew out, so she sighed with relief. "Ravenclaw is a brilliant house." Of course, was she to lie? "And...I've been sorted under it. But don't worry Ariella, each house is excellent in various perspectives." Beezus imparted.

"How does your mom feel about cleaning-up the house with five Crups?" THAT was definitely an important questions.

Max was incredibly relieved to see that Louisa wasn't upset with his words of intended encouragement. How did he learn that? "I dunno," he shrugged. "I'm not... good at figuring out my own life, but I'm really good at helping other people be optimistic about their lives. I'm a profound people-watcher - you can learn a lot that way." That kind of wisdom just made sense to him. He was always surprised when people saw him as some kind of brilliant mind.

Oh no. He was making her CRY? Max almost went to hug her, thought better of it, then looked down at his hands once more. But he was glad she seemed to like his advice, or at least see truth in it. Baby steps indeed. "Um..." Was he always this deep and logical? "I guess so. Mostly, I just think this kind of stuff though. I'm not usually a big talker." Surely she had realized his heavily introverted tendencies over the years. "But... when I do talk, yeah, it kind of just comes out. Sorry. I just... don't want people to hurt. I want to help." His face had turned red and wasn't quite sure why he was apologizing, but he felt it necessary. Maybe because he made her emotional. He DID feel bad about that.

Max cleared his throat awkwardly as Louisa did not seem to want his sympathy over her cat. But a smile crept onto his face when she asked about his crups. "Well, they're the family's, but I mostly take care of 'em during the summer - my dad looks after them while I'm away at school." It wasn't a huge deal to him. "My mum's usually away quite a bit, and the house is enough of a zoo already that it doesn't really matter all that much." He was laughing as he spoke, watching the people pass them by. "We just kind of tidy up as much as we can right before she comes home. One of those kind of things."

And then Max remembered something he had wanted to ask someone - anyone - before they boarded the train. "Hey, did you read the Prophet? The one that said some of the Board of Governors are going to be on the train with us?" That was WEIRD.

She waited for a moment, waited for the older women to continue but after a while it seemed like that was all she had to say. Alrighty then Ariella ran her fingers through her hair nervously. It was a good thing she had met Beezus here and now and not earlier when she was causing a bit of a commotion on the North End. She was sure that wouldn't have gone over well with this girl's grandmother...

"Your in Ravenclaw!?" Ari hadn't met a Ravenclaw yet, she had meet a Slytherin down at Diagon Alley and had been scolded by two Gryffindors earlier, but not a Ravenclaw... "What the common room like? I bet there tons of books! Oh how wonderful would that be!"

Ariella started talked a mile per minute, completely forgeting the fact that this girl's grandmother was still with them and Ari hadn't give a very good first impression.

Manolo and Awarlesta crossed over onto the south end. Awar suddenly got a rush of nervousness. Manolo noticed his little sister shaking and nudged her playfully. "There's nothing to worry about, Awar. You're going to have a blast!" Awarlesta nudged back. "What if I'm too weird?!" Manolo chuckled. "Yeah...you are pretty weird..." Awarlesta kicked him and then hugged him. Manolo wrapped his arms around her. "You'll be fine, sis, just have fun and study hard. Make us all proud, even Dad." Awar nodded. "Good luck getting a job, bro." Manolo nodded and with one last hug they departed.
Awar boarded the train nervously. She scanned the compartments. Everything's going to be okay. Hopefully...

SPOILER!!: Bat Girl

Felix shifted a bit in her hands. "Oh hush, you have no reason to be complaining, I'm the one doing all the walking." she said with a roll of her eyes.

Cece didn't know what this kid was up to but she was not amused. And to top it off, Jacen was giving her attitude. "I don't have time for this kid. Go ask someone else to help you look for that bat that isn't missing yet." Right now she had a teenage boy to chase after.

"I would treat you like you were sixteen if you stopped acting like a six year old." Like now. Did he really think running off like that was going to accomplish anything here?

Pulling out her wand she pointed itnat his feet as she cast a trip jinx at him. He was going to have to try harder than that if he wanted to get away from her. he didn't really think she was going to chase him in her condition this heat did he?

"...Okay, jeez.." This woman was clearly too busy. Well it didn't really matter, she had handed out the flyer and the woman had read it which meant that she was doing what she was supposed to--even if the information on the flyer was off.

She was about to walk away when she saw the woman pull out her wand and wave it at the boy that was trying to get away.

She didn't even think twice before using her magic on him....

"Whoa...--that was amazing!!" That was both terrifying and exhilarating! "Could you maybe teach me that?" It would be great if that ended up being the first spell she learnt.

"Sorry kid, maybe some other time," Cece called over her shoulder as she walked away. She really didn't have time to be teaching anyone anything... Other than the lesson she was teaching Jacen right now which was...

Don't try and run away from me because I will stop you.

That would teach the boy not to run away from her.

Walking over to him she again pointed her wand at him. This time at his face. "Yes really Jacen. Did you really think I was going to let you get away from me that easily?" He should know better than that.

Still pointing her wand at his face she cast a silent Episky! at his nose. That should take care of it. You know, in case the ground broke it during his not so graceful fall. She then pointed her wand at his ankles. "If I let you get up are you going to try and run off again?" If he did then she would just stop him in his tracks again.

"What year are you gonna be in?" she asked curiously. He looked around her age, or maybe a little bit older. She seriously had barley any friends her age at Hogwarts, they were all younger or older. Only about five were her age, and that wasn't that much. And she could've sworn she was pretty much the only Gryffindor fifth year there right now...

Ronnie watched as he pushed it, and noticed one of the wheels squeaked loudly and didn't budge. "There we go. That's the problem, that one right there." she said, pointing at the wheel. Ahh, now she felt a lot better. So she wasn't getting weaker after all. Phew!
Logan nodded now. Everyone was saying that just like they were all saying that Hogwarts was amazing and he would love it. Hopefully that would be a fact. Being stuck in a castle that you hate would be awesome. Worst come to worst, he would attempt to escape.

"I'm going into Fifth Year, what about you?" And where were the other Fifth Years? He really needed to meet more people his age. But the fact that he had Ness with him was enough.

He looked down at the wheel she had pointed out. So he had been right after all. "Want to try pushing it together?" And then he could always go back and push his as well

"Can't blame a bloke for trying." *She had to of known that Jacen would try and run off at least once. How was he meant to make friends if he was connected to a leash. By the look of it Cece was not going to let any slack on that leash either.*
"I won't run off okay. Take the jinx off before I mess my nose up again."

*Looking down he saw that his brand new shirt, jeans, and trainers had blood on them. Just what he needed, to walk on a train full of new people and him looking like he had hugged a messy eating vampire.*

It was a good thing but also a bad thing, getting back to school. The good thing is that Tiffany could finally meet her friends again at school and will be enjoying another nice school year with them. Perhaps making some new friends at the same time. But the bad thing is, being back to school means the end of summer vacation and she just didn't want to leave Erin's penthouse, not even for one second. Though she gets chances meeting her bestie at school but still she misses the slumber party and all the dancing stuff.

Making her way to the south end with her mum waiting at the north, the lioness started wandering. There was indeed a lot of new faces coming around at the station but she didn't have the mood meeting them right now. She wanted to see if she could find anyone she knew first since she just wanted to spend her time off while waiting for the train to arrive. She stood still and looked at everyone who passes through her but she could spot no one. So she waited as she looked down, rocking her feet back and forth.

Nerida loved going back to school, friends, classes, magic, friends! Hogwarts was so much fun, and this year she would be a fourth year. The only downer on school starting was less sleep and no more relaxing as much. Nerida saw a lot of new faces as she made her way over to the south end of the platform, far away from her brothers, who she was really mad at. They had somehow dyed her hair blonde, they had done the same to Sarassi. Her mum thinks that her brothers gave the two a potion that made her and Sarassi go to sleep and they did it while they were sleeping. Eh at least she still looked cute with it.

She looked around looking for a familiar face, or anybody to talk to while they were waiting. Not seeing anyone yet she began to tap her fingers against her bare leg. She couldn't wait to go back to Hogwarts it would be great, though she hopes this year wont have her frozen like it did last year.

It was nice to meet a Lion or a Lioness! Cassia searched her poor memory for any Gryffindor students and she barely remembered one whom she passed by. "It is handy," Cassia agreed with Ari on the owl thing. "Owls are also nice to play with just like cats," She said stroking Pluto's back .She then bent down and placed the cat back on the floor. She didn't like to hold the animal from moving around and playing on its own. "Though it was hard at first taking care of it but then i got the hang of it," She told Ari. She remembers how when she first brought her owl home she didn't know what to do with it but then she figured out how to communicate with it.

"I think it will take like half an hour or so," Cassia commented. "Though I can't wait till it does," She said rubbing her hands together. "I have missed the castle so much. And I can't wait for getting back there, and there's also a new headmistress, did you know that?" Cassia asked Ari shifting her weight from foot to foot. The twelve year old was so excited about starting her second year.

So the kid was perceptive enough to know when to stay away from danger. Perhaps this was the crucial thing that set Gryffindors and Slytherins apart. When Ari's older friends had informed her about that crazy Hogsmeade woman, she was shocked, but a small part of her wished she'd been there with the others. Maybe this year, hehe.

'I take it that you don't know many Gryffindors, then?' Just a wild guess. 'Oh, by the way, do you know my friend, Mordred? He's in Slytherin too.' And one of the very few who hasn't graduated yet. Not to mention she had heard from Gwen that Mordred had asked about her.

Pluto was beyond himself with joy, happy to roam on his own four paws, but Ari had to put him back in his cage for when they boarded the train. 'Sorry, I'll let you explore everything you want on the Hogwarts grounds.' The platform was not safe; it was crowded, and she didn't want to risk losing her cat.

'Believe me, I've waited even longer than you to get back.' Ariadne chuckled. Because for her it hadn't been just the summer vacation, but also the whole year before that. 'I suppose you're looking forward to not being a firstie anymore.' It was cool to be a fresher, but it felt even better to cease being the youngest person in the castle, from Ari's experience.

The fifth year nodded. 'Yeah, I've read about that in the Daily Prophet.' she remembered.'But I don't know what to make of this thing about the Board of Directors boarding the train with us. Surely there's something going on.' But what?

Once she started talking again, he couldn't help but chuckle since it was pretty amusing and true, he handed her the box then decided to speak without thinking earlier. "Of course and honestly those people aren't very fun. They usually turn out to be the ones who want to follow the rules all the time." People who had always followed the rules honestly had been the ones who crashed the party and just thought that getting into trouble was unnecessary, he hadn't entirely enjoyed people like that since it meant that he had to pretend to be something that he wasn't at times and he wasn't going to be that way. The fact that she had asked about what exactly he had been thinking about coming up with for a story since he knew she was always curious when it came to his writing which had had brought back the whole point of wondering exactly if she was still curious about what he was working on in Diagon Alley. "Yeah it's about my superhero, I sorta changed the description of how I had pictured him if you wanted to see it." Taking a folded piece of paper from the pocket of his jeans, he handed it to her so that she could look at it; he was going to ask her about coming up with a sketch since he hadn't been an artist but that could just wait until later.

"Yeah the little boxes are for you. And I've got the chocolate owl being sent to Hogwarts, I'll get it to you immediately so you don't have to worry." He knew that saying that was just going to stop too many questions from being asked although seeing that two foot owl at the school was going to draw a lot of attention which was something that he hadn't exactly wanted to deal with but the distraction of the truffles had been enough to keep his mind from wondering about that too much. Eating the truffles that he removed from the box, he couldn't help but grin immediately; they really were good but not even close to enough to really do anything. "Well mental notes at least, can't exactly write and be in the air at the same time though that would be pretty awesome if I could." It would give a new meaning to a superhero writer. Looking over at the clock, he had noticed the time and realized that the train was soon going to be arriving and he let figured that he should have moved the trolley so that his things could have been put on the train. "Maybe we need to warn the healer about our chocolate experiments next time.. in case we end up getting hurt." Not that he had expected it to happen, but it was just good to have that done.

Kendall actually tried to wait patiently as she watched Patrick digging in his bag again. Actually, it wasn't as hard as she usually thought, even though she was still bouncing slightly on her toes. The fact she figured he was digging for more chocolate when she actually hadn't said anything about the coffee-flavored chocolate was oddly distracting, almost to the point she'd been tempted to ask if he could read minds. She didn't know any magical mind readers, and in fact she'd always been told that they didn't exist. Wizards and witches might be able to get into memories, but not actually read minds. That would be kind of awesome if they could, though. If Patrick could, and she was going to ask him to teach her how if he could. It wasprobably just a coincidence either way. He knew her enough to know she wasn't about to give up on getting chocolate after all, and she grinned as he actually did hand her another box. She'd eat at least some of these now. The owls and stuff could wait til they got to school, since the train ride meant truffles. "Following the rules all the time's boring," she observed, swallowing the last of the piece she'd put in her mouth. Jeremiah would have been over like a shot if he thought she was being rude and talking with her mouth full, and she was content with him staying over by the train. At least until it was time to board, and her attention had fully gone back to her friend instead of her brother as he'd held out a piece of paper."You changed the idea? But what was wrong with the first one?, " she asked, glancing at the description. She couldn't see a lot of changes, but then she didn't really remember what his superhero had been like before except for involved with chocolate. Of course she'd remember that.

Chocolate was almost more important than anything else, after all, and she tried to figure out where to stash the boxes of owls and stuff. They needed to stay safe, and for once she didn't have a bag with her. "D'you wanna keep my chocolate for a while? Til I can get to my trunk, once we're on the train," she responded, another grin creeping onto her face as he'd said she'd get the big owl once they were at Hogwarts. Yay!, she thought. Of course, I'll have to figure out where to hide it from the other 'Claws so they don't try to steal it. Maybe the room of requirement? That could get decided later too, once they'd succeeded in accomplishing their goal in doing the truffle experiment. She didn't have the big owl yet anyway, and she did have truffles. "Mmm," she responded with a nod as he'd clarified his note thingy, since she'd put the second truffle in her mouth already. She wanted to try and make it last, even though she knew there were more to come. And once she'd swallowed again, she let out a giggle at his next suggestion. Especially since it looked like the healer was actually at the train station, which she found odd. Amusing, too, since it looked like she was roping a boy or something. "Maybe. Isn't she over there?," she asked, looking over toward the blonde woman who had fixed said boy's nose. And taking another truffle while she waited to see if Patrick recognized her too.

Elliot sighed as her aunt talked to some old friends. She really wasn't that bad.. but she still wished one of her parents had come. She only hoped that her mother felt reeeeaaally bad about going with Dani to Beauxbatons. Because her father sure didn't...there was no way he did.

She plopped down on her trunk, smoothing out her skirt of her dress as she did so. She folded her arms across her chest, searching around for a familiar face. Still none of her friends. It was so infuriating! UGH! Would she have to sit alone on the train??! No. She would sit with Ezra...

She got up, unable to sit anymore, and slung her backpack over her shoulder and pulled her trunk behind her. She started to walk more towards the front end of the train, keeping her eyes peeled for any friends. A crowd of people seemed to suddenly appeared around her, and she tried to squeeze through...

She shoved someone, a little hard, but she wanted to get through! However, it knocked her school bag off her shoulder..she growled and bend over to pick it up. The crowd of people was now gone, thank Merlin.

"Hey I don--" she started to snap...but she caught sight of a familiar face. Nerida....from the book club thing. Ellliot's scowl turned into a smirk. "Hey Nerida!Sorry about that..." she said with a shrug. Eh. She hadn't talked to Nerida in forever.

Nathan wouldn't keep her waiting. That was just not his style. He had told her he would meet her soon at the platform - and so keeping his promise, he'd left his dad's sooner than he was suppose to. He really just simply wanted to get to the platform before Delphi. So she wouldn't have to look around for him .. she would just see him, waiting for her instead.

Besides they just had so much more talk about - he couldn't wait another few hours before seeing her.

But alas - it seemed his plans for futile. As soon as he pushed through the the barrier, his eyes spotted her. Standing there alone. He grinned, ruffling his hair and walking up to her.

"I am buying you as many Pumpkin Pasties as you like since I made you wait," he said - while a small smile pulled at his lips.

"I sure hope so. If not..." I have you to keep me company... is what she was going to say. but she didn't. Because...well, Elliot felt weird about saying that. So instead, she merely shrugged and rolled her eyes. Yep.

"Whatever house you make it in..well, you'll make loads of friends, I assure you. The big head might be a put-off.." she smirked, raising an eyebrow. "You do know about the houses, right?" Because he was a newb and all.

What? NO. She was very sure she liked him. Wait. GAH. SHe was very sure that they were friends...VERY. "I am sure of you, actually. Sure that you and I will have an interesting friendship," she said, finally looking him full on, into his eyes. SHe let her icy blue ones pierce his hazel ones. And she smiled. "I have lots of enemies, you know. So it's ...well, it's nice to have someone be friendly." Very nice. And Elliot even felt nicer when she was talking to him. It was weird. And Elliot didn't even know if she liked this or not. Being nice and all...

Heehee.

"Yep. You're welcome...you're very privileged, you know..." she said, bowing a little, like the queen she was. "To have my approval..." she smirked again. This boy here...

And his BAT. She winced as he licked her nose, and she quickly wiped it off. "Erm, Bugaboo...I would rather if you didn't lick my face, thanks." She told the bat...with a small grin.

Elliot dropped the earpiece into his hand, trailing off a sentence that she didn't really care to finish. Huh.

Right, like Ezra would doubt his own ego. "The houses do seem a little confusing. How does the sorting work?" Yes, Ezra was the newbie of the school, he didn't know too much about it. "I know about the houses, but I don't get what they're for. This is the first boarding school I've ever been. AAI Was like a college, we had dorms but we never had anything like houses."

It was, definitely, an interesting friendship. Elle's eyes locking onto his for the first time today, it felt nice. She had blue pearls as eyes, and they where gorgeous to look at. Ezra didn't mind staring. "What are you talking about? You're are a friendly person. It doesn't take much to make friends."

This girl gave him the chuckles. Ezra played along, crouching down and kneeling on one leg, he clasped her hand in his. Oh, princess, it is a privilege," SNORT. Too much, too much. Ezzi had to stand up before he ended up on the ground rolling with laughter.

"Awe, but he's liiiikes you," Ezzi formed a small pouty face then smiled to his white bat. "It's okay Bugaboo, you can give me your kisses." Petting the little guy's head with an index finger. Bugaboo licked the tip of Ezzi's nose and he made a slight giggle and scratched his nose with the sleeve of his shirt. "Tickles."
