These exercises that Dani taught her came into her mind...the eleven year old was so much better at being all happy and carefree than Elliot, much as she hated to admit it...Dani had helped Elliot get through the summer...maybe that was why she missed her more than usual. It sucked, bottom line.

She stopped the pacing and sighed. She felt better. Way better. Like unloading the cargo of a boat that was carrying too many packages and was sinking before...Elliot could feel herself staying afloat. For now, anyways.

"It comes and it goes," she said with a shrug. THe rebellious feelings, that is. "Like right now, I want to be the perfect child. But when I asked you to stay with me...I was angry and feeling rebellious..." she tried to explain...but her mood swings were a bit weird lately...more extreme than usual. Did she have a disorder?! No. She was just Darius' Morganzo's child....and craziness ran in her blood.

"Yeah, come on. It needs to be brilliant." She said softly...as she began to walked towards the door...

Scowl.

"Don't worry about me, either. Makes me feel weak." And Elliot was so not wanting to feel weak right now...she wanted more than ever to be unbreakable.

Alyssa sadly walked up to the Owlery ahead of Headmistress Truebridege and looked around until she found her Snowy Owl. She Snowdrop's head as she whispered softly to her. Alyssa then took a parchment and quill out of her pocket and slowly wrote out her message. When she was done, she folded the letter up and attached it to Snowdrop's leg with a ribbon and then reached out her arm to let the Snowy Owl hop on to her arm.

"Send this to Mom and stay there. I'll see you back home." Alyssa fed some pellets to Snowdrop before taking her over to the window and letting her fly away. She watched as the owl became a small dot in the sky. She took one last glance out at the lake and the Quidditch pitch, before turning and making her way down to the girl's dorm to pack up her things.

Owlery was not a common place that he usually visit. He rarely sent a letter to Luke or others since he wasn't a typical family person or something. Besides that, he was too lazy to write a letter to them. But now, for the first time the blonde guy stepped his foot to a place which was full of owls.

What was he doing here?

Hands were shoving in his pocket. Inside of it there was a parchment.. Not an ordinary parchment but it was the reason why decided to be in here. It was a letter to Zhenya. Yeah, since she seemed dissapear since last Christmas (meh, it almost one year!) without saying any words to him. Gary decided to send her a letter.. maybe for the last time. Because he currently sent a break-up letter to her.

The blonde guy looked for a school owl since he didn't have his own right now. He spotted a tawny owl nearby and patted it. "Hey, I want you to send this letter. Okay?" he said in low voice while he tied the parchment to its leg and fed it with some blueberries. Then he let the owl flew away and hoped that his letter would be arrived safely.

Exhales

Gary couldn't imagine that he could do this. But breaking up his relationship was his decision. Honestly, he didn't want to do this but he was much dissapointed about her. "Maybe this is the best way for us." he murmured.

The lioness entered the Owlery with a letter in her hand as she walked across all those lovely owls and stood in front of hers. It has become her habit of writing to her parents every month, telling them all the things at school and things that happened onto her. Even if she just told them that she was good and telling them not to worry about her in the letter, it was perfectly fine. They just needed it, to know whether she was alright or not. They just needed some confirmation somehow.

She tied that small piece of paper to Snowy and patted its head softly. "You know who to give to right?"she grinned as she sent it away. She watched it fly over the castle and off it went, to where her parents live right now. Just as she was about to leave, she spotted the Slytherin not far from her, motionless. Perhaps he was just sending letters to his family, just like the way Tiffany did?

Meh. What was he doing right there?

"Hey,"she whispered as she patted him on the shoulder, hoping to wake him up from his 'daydream'. Leaning her back to the wall, she glanced at the apple boy. He was different, he looked different. It was like, all of his energy has been drained out and all that was left was his body alone. He was pale and his expression was blank. "Are you okay?" she asked.

He even didn't know if his decision to break this relationship was right or not and he knew that could make her more devastated. But now Gary couldn't do anything since he lost her contact. I know it's hard. I'm sorry but I can't keep our relationship any longer again, unless you wanted to contact me again. He thought that how could they keep in relationship if there is no contact or interaction?

Exhaled.

His blue eyes kept staring at the owl which already dissapeared a moment ago. He felt a bit empty and didn't realized that someone had patted his shoulder. Tiffany? Oh gosh, did she knew what he had done here? But she didn't know for whom his letter was sent too, right?

Maybe she should know about this, Tiffany was his close friend, right?

"Hey." he tried to gave her a smile though his expression still looked.. Flat. Was he okay? He didn't think so. No one felt okay when they decided to break-up, since a meanie. And Gerald Rush wasn't a meanie, he did it due to some particular reason. "Well, I don't think I am." said him. But he just didn't know how to tell her about this.

Kat merrily skipped to the Owlery. With good news, she should obviously tell her parents, right? One hand clutched to the letter, she made her way around to see if Chase was there. Chase was her owl. A gift she got before her first year.

After finding Chase, she tied the letter to the owl's foot. "Alright, Chasey," Kat said, fluffing his feathers. "Send this letter to mum, and if I come back her with a reply or not, I'll reward you with a treat." Chase then flew away.

It was a few seconds later that she could gain his attention back. The lioness just remained there and waited for the apple boy to turn around and answer her question. Well...he did greet her, but in a rather lifeless way. What has he done or what had happened to him? The lioness looked into his deep blue eyes but still she couldn't find any answer to her question. So she just hung up her big grin onto her face once again, hopefully it would ease him down in some ways when he looks at her.

Well, I don't think I am.

Tiffany was a bit shocked when she heard him saying like that. So he was really not feeling alright and he was...sad. Puzzled, she tried to look away from him and started her rocking again. Actually she was not that type of people that love to listen to others' problems and answer them one by one because she could never really give a suitable suggestion to them so she rather not to get involved into others' business. However it doesn't mean that she was not that type of people who would console and comfort their friends, or else it would not make her a good friend though right?

Wrapping her arms round his shoulders, she asked,"If you want, you could tell me about it." she reassured. After all, we are friends right, Rush? "Maybe that would help." She finished her line, adding a smile.

The blonde guy then leaned himself to the wall and crossed his arms. His blue eyes noticed at her for a while and wondered if he should tell her about this or not. He tried to smile, hiding the unhappy expression from his face but his blue eyes couldn't lie. He was sad, but there was nothing to do to keep his relationship with Zhenya. She was dissapeared and left him suddenly without saying any word to him. Didn't she know that how worried he was everytime when he was thinking about her? Because he knew that the last time she was very miserable when she knew that he best friend was incurable.

Waiting is very tired, and he doesn't like waiting for any longer.

He took a very deep breath to manage himself cool. So cool that there was anything happened to him. "Well.." he started to speak. Eventhough he was still thinking.. Is it right to tell about the problem of your relationship to a girl? "I just sent a letter to Zhenya." Believe it or not, it was for a first time, for Merlin's sake! "and I decided to break up with her." Hopefully this news didn't make her shock or something.

Dun dun dun.

There! An owl that looked bored. 'Treat?' Ari smiled, lifting it so that the owl could see. The bird flew down and settled itself on the girl's arm. 'Wonderful.' she beamed. 'I need you to take this to my best friend, Gwen Greene.' By this, she meant the neatly packed gift in her left hand.'I would look for her myself, but I haven't seen her in days and I'm late for class.' Why was she justifying herself in front of an owl, again? 'See if you can find her in the Great Hall at lunch.' Or dinner. Or whatever. These owls were smart, didn't need instructions from her.

The package contained the diary she had customised for her friend, along with a note that read:

The fifth year watched as the owl flew out of the owlery, wondering if Gwen would like the gift, but also what she had been up to lately. Probably studying like the true Ravenclaw she was.

Tiffany moved her glance and followed the apple boy's movement till now, he was leaning his back to the wall. She was hoping for something bad to be told, well if it was either bad or sad or both that could bother someone's mind. Bad can imply a lot of things and emotions, maybe he was mad at someone...or whatever. Looking into his eyes, she waited for him to start the conversation or make up the decision whether he should tell her about it or not.

The lioness has once told him about her problems when they were riding on the train back to home, but that time she was actually talking about him and kind of scolding so it may not be counted as consoling right? But this time, it was different. He must have something to say, something really truly bothering himself.

I just sent a letter to Zhenya...and I decided to break up with her.

WHATTTTTTT?!!!!!! Her eyes widened as he slowly spit out those words. That was impossible, they would never or he would never choose to break up with Zhenya right? Why? Doesn't he love her so much that he keeps telling Tiffany things about her? "W-why?" she exclaimed as her jaws almost fell down to the ground. "Don't you love her so much?" He must have a very reasonable answer for that question or maybe he just doesn't have any other choices.

See? He already guessed that Tiffany would be very surprised about this. He almost laughed to see her surprised expression but then he remembered that this is not a good time for laughing. He just exhaled again. Ugh, why now he felt so regret about this? Perhaps because he was too hasty to take this decision. But no, Gerald! Don't feel regret about this. This is already happened. You had sent the letter and maybe now it's already arrived at her hand.

No.. I don't feel regret. This is the best for us.

"Yes." said him flat. But why? Don't you love her so much? Gary frowned slightly to her. How could she knew about that? But honestly.. Gah, he didn't know if he still loved her or not now. But the reason? Well, he didn't break up without any particular reason, right? "I lose her contact. She didn't come back to here and we never keep in touch anymore." His face still looked calm but his eyes looked sad and his voice sounded mad. Ooops.. He started to calm himself by took a deep breath again. Sigh..

"She deserves a better boy than me." suddenly he said.

Ethan leaned in the doorway of the owlery for a moment to catch his breath after climbing the many flights of stairs to get here. But as he did, he caught the full aroma of just how bad it smelled in here.. and his hands were too full to cover his nose. Grimacing somewhat, the Ravenclaw walked further into the room, his potted lavender in one hand and a box a little bit bigger than the plant in the other hand.

He set both items down on a table in the center of the room. It had been nearly two weeks since he had transplanted the rooted cutting and he felt that it was now healthy and strong enough to survive the journey. Ethan gently ran his fingers along the length of the branch. It was only about 20 cm, but it was sturdy and the tiny soft purple buds were beginning to open. He gently breathed in the plant's fragrant aroma and picked up the pot to gently set it in the box. The Ravenclaw pulled out his wand and cast a cushioning charm around the plant to keep it safe on its journey. He was sure it would survive that.. hopefully it would survive his mother's 'care' before he got home for the holiday to help with it.

The fifteen year old dug out a letter and a bit of string from his pocket. He placed the letter inside the box with the plant and tied up the box with the string. Once the package was secure, he looked up at the owls, motioning for one to come down. He looked around for a couple owl pellets to give to the volunteering owl as this was a long journey. "I need this delivered to Meloria McCarthy.. in Heidelberg," he told the owl as it hopped onto the package and grasped the string in its claws. Ethan tied some more string onto the package and owl just to make sure it didn't go falling off mid-flight. Once he stepped back, Ethan watched the owl take flight with his package through the open window.

The lioness simply gasped as he started telling her about the reason why he is breaking with his most be-loved Zhenya and all that love story. It was weird and strange that she was actually being the one who was standing next to him, listening. It was even weirder that it was a love story or a problem about relationship and love that Tiffany would never really get a chance to come across it, not in decades.

Yes. I lost her contact.

She wanted to shout at him once he gave the answer yes. She wanted to ask him so why he was still breaking up with her. Breaking up with somebody else was surely not a pleasant thing to do so even though Tiffany knew nothing about love however this concept was simple enough for her to understand. She was a bit hold back when he said that they hadn't kept in touch since then. Actually the apple boy had told her about things like Zhenya was so depressed that none of her friends knew about her condition and he was worried about her...but he also said that he still...loved her. "O-oh,"she muttered. "Well I guess it's the best for both of you." And it's hard to maintain a relationship when they just can't keep in touch.

Wrapping her arms round his shoulder, she tried to say something better to comfort him but nothing did come out. He must be really upset right now and she just needs to cheer him up. "It's good to be single. Enjoying all the freedom, just like me,"she beamed. "I know you are upset about it. So it's okay if you need any help or it's okay to cry." She smirked. She was serious. It was really okay to cry in front of her, Rush.

The thing about getting a secret pet was that it wasn't EASY to arrange it. West had found someone to buy his particular wanted pet from, through a catalogue, but they wanted to deliver it in person. To his address. And to an adult. None of these things were possible. The newly thirteen year old mulled over this for a while and then decided the best thing to do would be to convince someone reliable to get it for him. Someone who wouldn't tell his dad. Not because West expected them to be sneaky but because it wouldn't actually occur to said person to mention it. That would be perfect.

So that was why he was, on his first day back at Hogwarts since he'd been away, sending an owl to his second cousin. Ira would be totally perfect. West attached the letter to the owl's leg and gave the fuzzball a treat, then stood back while it flapped off to do its job.

Rubbing his hands together in glee, West headed back down the tower.

Awarlesta had sprinted up the steps, yes, sprinted. She should of sent this a couple days before. She wrapped up the box of cookies that she and Presley made tighter. "Peggy!" She called to her beloved owl. Pegasus swooped down almost immediately. "I need you to take this home as fast as you can okay?" The owl chirped in response. Awarlesta quickly scribbled down a note.

She stuck it on the package, "Okay, Peggy. You're good to go." She kissed the owl on the head and then it took off. Awar watched as she left and then left the owlery.
