Er.

This was stupid.

VERY stupid. Why Elliot was even here...was beyond her. But here she was, trying to be all 'social.' Right. She spotted her favorite blonde as soon as she came in...Hannah. She smiled at her friend, who was talking to ETHAN?!?! Hmm. She wanted to butt in, make sure things were going...smoothly. And to remind Hannah that Ethan was totally into Cora...not Hannah..right?

She approached the two..."Hey, guys..." she said with a smirk, tucking her hair behind her ear. "How are things? " she asked, merely because she wanted to INSERT HERSELF INTO THE CONVERSATION NO MATTER WHAT IT TOOK.

Yeah.

Elliot was being pretentious.

"Not bad, right?"Ethan said with a grin as Hannah took a sip of her hot chocolate. He had enjoyed his previous cup as well, but wanted to try the eggnog next. Eh.. not as good, he thought after a swig and set the cup down on the nearest table.

Speaking of tables.. "Of course.. Please, sit," he told the Slytherin girl as he gestured to one of the chairs. As he took his own seat, he leaned back and glanced at a few of the activities around the room. Were students actually lined up to meet the Headmistress? he thought as he squinted in that direction. Odd. He turned to Hannah again. "So, have any interesting dreams lately?" he asked playfully. The boy hoped she knew he was joking.. more of a reference to the task they shared in class. He knew she wasn't going to tell him anything revealing anyway.. especially when she hadn't when it was actually assigned.

Ethan turned his head in the direction of a voice calling his name. There, he spied Belle and Minerva in conversation. "Hello, ladies," he answered the two with a smile before turning back to his present company.

Then his attention was turned again when he sensed a presence approaching. "Hey, Elliot.." he returned, eyeing the girl carefully. She seemed to be up to something.. He shook that thought from his mind and mentally shrugged. She was always up to something and he wasn't giving that a second thought. He was here trying to enjoy this holiday.. uh, whatever it was.

After a little detour to the Great Hall, the first place Medea spotted was actually the giant tree sitting in the middle of the room. It would, literally, if one was ever sure about anything in the world, be quite impossible to miss. But then she spotted the food and refreshments table and that's where she migrated to, hoping that the laughing fits were done for a good few minutes where she could get down a couple sips of a drink.

Goodness, these prefects and captains kept outdoing themselves every year! The setting was magical to say the least. Simply marvelous! Taking one of the eggnogs, Medea sat down to examine the place, spying their Headmistress up at the front with a rather large line of students waiting.

Was that an ice slide too?

It was a good thing that the Prefects and Quidditch Captains had made this event because Daichi was sure he would turn a mess if he had to study for his OWLS even longer.

He had already been to Kurumi and the Headmistress who slapped his stuffed animal and was now labeled *mean* in Daichi's eyes when he got hungry. The Slytherin had noticed the seating area and decided to check it out.

Right next to the door he saw a table with food and Daichi grinned at the sight. Well done Prefects~ hehe. He picked up two Glacius Cupcakes and as he ate one he found a place to sit. Finding one, he sat down and continued eating. His eyes looked around the place before they landed on the person next to him. "Oh!" He had totally not realized that a Professor had been sitting there...or did she sit down later than him? "Hi Pwofessow!" he said with his mouth ful of cupcake and waved his hand.

Minerva felt herself frown at the thought of meeting up. "Oh that would be great, but I.. I'm not going home for the break. I'm staying here. My grandparents just got custody of me and they don't have much money, and since their muggles and older it's been hard to explain the wizard money and how mom had enough in saving for me to be okay with everything, so they don't have enough money for the plane tickets. So it was just easy to say I would stay here." She hadn't told anyone the real reason she was staying, but she felt she could trust Belle not to judge her just because her grandparents were poor muggles.

Minerva then looked at the food, Oh yes.. the food.. Hmm, it all smelled and looked good. What to try first... She wasn't sure, but then got distracted by Belle saying hello to Ethan. Looking up and smiling, she felt her cheeks turn a bit. "Hi" is all she really got to say, because he turned back to the Slytherin girl again. She felt herself frown, but figured she might get a chance to talk to him later. Then she saw her walk in. Glaring as Elliot came in the room Minerva looked back at the table. Now she would never get a chance to talk with Ethan. Elliot would make sure of that.

Turning back to the food, "Oh the s'mores sounds great Belle, let's try those first. I think I might try everything by the end of it." sipping on her hot chocolate, "Once I'm done with this peppermint one I might have to try the fudge hot chocolate that sounds great as well." She smiled at Belle trying to forget the negative, she wanted to have fun at the moment and Elliot would not ruin it this time.

Usually if he notice someone like Beezus reacting to the bit of PDA, Vickers would be apologizing profusely and would likely be keeping to himself. But he didnt see her reaction, much too taken was he giving such adulation to the red-head Ravenclaw. And to say that this wasnt just any other ginger Claw-- this was Louisa-- the girl who managed to unlock certain talents within the Ranvenerd he didnt know he had. So understand why upon the Head Girl's mere wave of an invitation to join her he shifts around to take a snuggle seat next to her.

And then she mentions about a certain ex-Slytherin, who until now he wasnt completely aware there was more to the meaning of ex-Slytherin. Nonetheless he nods his head at the information that she was meeting Joao in Hogsmeade "Alright, tell him hi for me. And that.... thanks for sharing that bottle." Really big thanks to that liquid courage.

Of course he's not completely dense. He turns his attention to Beezus and watches her... slump onto the floor? Well if she found it more comfortable there. And then she mentions about the Quidditch loss to the Badgers. For a moment Vickers' features darken as the memory of the rather intense shouldnt-there-have-been-a-tie-breaker game played in his memory. He was pretty put out about that too, and he was just a spectator. He could imagine what it was like for players risking life and limb then telling them they lost to a technicality.

And she mentioned about graduating. His gaze shifted to Louisa momentarily as he unconsciously squeezed her hand. Their final year. For a guy who runs his day in accordance to whats on the his planner he sure hasnt made much headway after Hogwarts. "Well..... I was thinking of taking a gap year before heading to University. Just.... get out and see the world or get a part time job or something, you know? Figure out how things work on the outside." Outside Hogwarts, outside his Grandmothers' meddling.... just outside.

Louisa subtly leaned on Vickers as soon as he sat down on the cushions next to her. Cuddles, the white and grey small cat, left her fellow cat and crawled on her owner's legs to roll into Vickers' lap. Louisa eyed her cat for a second, making sure she doesn't get too clingy or annoying before raising her gaze to Beezus again, "I wasn't there but I heard it was pretty intense and well played on both sides." Giving a wide proud smile, "If there's one thing I'm really proud of my house of after our nerdiness, it's our quidditch team." Everyone feared the Ravvie quidditch team, HEH. "You'll get the lions next match." She gave Beezus a playful wink.

She turned her head to look at Vickers and suppressed a sarcastic snort. "Yeah. I'll... do just that." She could foresee Joao either breaking the table or glaring at her till she shriveled if he knew that Vickers says hi. A pang of protectiveness washed through her then, and she laced her fingers with his and gave him an affectionate squeeze.

Ooh! His plans were almost the same as hers! "Do you know which university you're going to?" She asked Vick, beaming. Then looked back at Beezus, "It's kind of the same with me too. Only I have to find a job, my stepdad won't pay for a magical university." Eyeroll. "I just want to get enough NEWTs to broaden my choices of higher education." Louisa paused for a bit and backtracked, "How fine are you exactly, Beezus? You weren't so find in Care of Magical Creatures class." She didn't mention Spike's name though.

Merlin. Can they please not cuddle and hold hands like that in front of her? She just couldn't stop staring at how sweet the two of them were with each other. And they definitely looked great together. Oh, and pretty, white kitty...excuse me, you are ruining the picture.

When the couple talked about a certain Slytherin that Beezus didn't know, she opted not to listen too much but instead eyed the cat that was on Vicker's lap, giving it a look that clearly implied that it should meow away. It wasn't like it was Louisa and Vicker's child for it go butting in with the perfect couple setting.

So little one, shoooo! Shooo..shooo!

The brunette's dark brown eyes lingered on the cat for a few more before she lifting her gaze up back to the two when she heard the Head Girl say that she was proud of the Quidditch Team. "Well, Coco..I mean Milton's not really that bad of a Captain. And we've got real superb players on our side." And that coming from her was saying something since she was a flyer herself, which meant that she knew when someone was indeed good or not. Gryffindor? Beezus grinned, "Actually...our next game would be against Slytherin." Since the snakes lost against the lions. And lions were playing the badgers as winners. Hehehe. Her grin was then followed by small frown. Slytherin, eh?

So..their plans? They had the same plans? Hmm. "A gap year.." Beezus muttered, nodding. It won't be so bad to take a rest from school right? Although, she doubts she'd take a step like that once it was her turn. She'd probably be too keen and enthusiastic to attend University that a rest year won't even cross her mind. "...Oh, I think that's good..both of you find a job." More nodding. "No plans on getting married though, right?"

Then Louisa how fine she was. Can it even be measured? For a second, Beezus thought of just shrugging it off but when she realized who she was talking to, she decided to just tell them the truth, maybe they can help out. "Well...that class was a bit...awkward." With Spike and Dylan and stuff. "It's because..." she could trust them, no? "..Uhmm, you see..Spike...confessed to me and since then, we are not talking like we used to. He's been avoiding me..kind of." SIGH.

And that's when the shrug comes.

Hmmm, was she supposed to get the Headmistress a gift?

Taking a sip of the eggnog, she turned to the presence who sat down at the same table. Whether on purpose or by accident, they were very good at not realizing they had company. Medea chuckled as the Slytherin lad finally noticed she was nearby. "Mister Katharos." she smiled, before indicating on her own cheek, "You haff a little...frosting. Right there."

Riiiight...there.

As Belle was chatting with Minnie, Belle noticed Ethan waving at them and saying hi to them. Belle waved and smiled being friendly. She knew he was in a conversation with another girl so she would talk to him when he was done.

Belle also noticed Minnie's body language. Belle noticed she was blushing and felt kind of angry when he was talking to another girl. Did she have a crush on him? Hmm she didn't seem surprised, he was a charming boy.

Belle whispered to Minnie, "Do you think Ethan is going to come over and talk with us?" and Belle couldn't help but ask since they both trusted each other. She whispered, "Do you have a crush on Ethan too?"

When Minnie mentioned her position on why she could not go home this vacation, Belle did not judge her at all. As she took a sip of her peppermint hot coco almost finishing it, she replied, "There is nothing wrong with that. I am very fortunate to have rich grandparents but other's are not. Do not worry, i am sure you will have an amazing time at hogwarts. I have heard they have a great christmas feast." Belle added with a wink and giggle.

Belle decided she was going to try everything on the menu too. "You know i agree with you Minnie, i am going to try everything with you too. I think we are going to be so stuffed but it will be worth it."



As Belle was talking to Minnie she noticed Professor Romanos. Belle got up from her seat and decided to go greet her. As Belle approached the table, Belle smiled and said, "Hi Professor Romanos! I am loving your dress! Are you enjoying the events so far?"

Minerva was trying to focus on the food when she heard Belle's question then her statement and Minerva almost chocked on her hot chocolate. Looking at Belle trying to get her breath she wondered was it that obvious. Of course it was, she was horrible at hiding it. "Well I don't know, that girl he is talking with is Hannah, I met her briefly during a problem in the entrance hall, the girl that just walked in is Elliot they are best friends." She couldn't help but roll her eyes, "Elliot is not nice, you could say she is the wicked witch of the west." making the wizard of oz reference hoping Belle would get it.

Then she looked at Belle and blushed again, "I..I.. well. yes, I guess I do, but I thought the entire school knew that after our first match. I kind of commented on how cute he was. I didn't realize you had one as well." Minerva gave her a smile, "but I don't know if he will come over, if Elliot has anything say in it he won't. Elliot and I are not on good terms at all, and she will keep him away from me at all cost. She knows I like him as well." she glared at Elliot. The girl was just a pain.

Then she tried to smile, "Yeah, it's just going to be weird being here. My parents have been gone for almost two years now. When I was living with my cousins last year I was in London, so I got to spend Christmas with my friends and it was well easier. So this year, is going to be different, but different isn't bad at times, right?" She tried to be positive about it. "Well let's see, there are the plates, let's just start filling them up." she grabbed some of the S'more pizza, and then some actual pizza. Let's see what else could she take.

Minerva then saw Belle go great Professor Romanos and decided to do the same. "Hello Professor. You look lovely today." she smiled. "I hope your having fun, the hot chocolate is wonderful if you are needing something to drink."

As Eliza sat and enjoyed her amazing minty drink, she made note of who was in the room. Elliot and Ethan were here, chatting with someone she didn't really know. She felt a little awkward butting in on anyone's conversation, but she didn't want to sit alone forever. There was Beezus too whom she'd met once or twice, but she was starting to look rather serious with the conversation she was having with the Head Girl. Luckily she had brought her sketch pad with her, so she decided to doodle a bit before calling it a night. As she was swinging her legs around to face the table, she noticed Professor Romanos was there.

"Hi Professor Romanos! she said cheerily. "Your dress is pretty." Unsure of what to talk about with a professor, she rambled on a bit aimlessly. "The decorations really look nice, don't they? And the drinks are really good too!" She held up her cup of Polar Peppermint Hot Chocolate and said, "Well, this was one is for sure, at least." She smiled and hoped she hadn't interrupted anything too important with her and the Slytherin boy she'd been talking to. She decided to be polite and say hi to him as well, since she'd sort of jumped in on their exchange.

She leaned forward in her seat so he could see her past the professor and said, "Hi..." The boy had some crumbs on his face that Romanos had just pointed out. She tried not to giggle at them while she introduced herself. "I'm Eliza, Ravenclaw. I've seen you around but, excuse me, what is your name?" She was bound and determined to make more friends this year. She wasn't sure what being friends with a Slytherin would be like, but she was willing to give anyone and everyone a chance.

The Slytherin frowned a little as the Professor pointed to her own cheek. Was there something special about it? Oh! the frosting? wait! He was talking to someone with food on his face?!

His cheeks flushed a deep shade of red as he placed down his other cupcake on the table and began to rub both his cheeks, since he didn't really get which side it was. He did felt the frosting and as he rubbed he managed to get some of it off ...but most of it was now literally smeared over the right side of his face. "Is it gone, Professor?" he asked as he turned his head from left to right.

And as he turned his head, his eyes landed on the pink platform at the end of the hall and he huffed loudly. "She's mean..." he mumbled , forgetting for a second that he was talking to a Professor and not a student.

Still with the frosting smeared across his cheek , the Slytherin smiled brightly as the young girl introduced herself. He always loved meeting new people cause that meant he could have more friends. And friends were like..what? in the eight place of important things to him? Because...you know.. ducks, family, food, chocolate, ducks ducks oh and ducks came first....

He bowed his head as he had learned at home in greeting before he waved his hand. "Hi~ oh! My name is Daichi" he answered. "Are you a first year? Cause i don't think i've seen you last year?" he had made it sound like a question because maybe she had been here last term and he had just forgotten.

Aurora couldn't help smiling as he took a sip of his drink, he apparently hadn't enjoyed that, hehehe. "Oh, Theodore Kinsley, he's on the Quidditch team." she explained, watching as he put his drink down. And then he was laughing... loudly... hehe... and she couldn't help descending into giggles with him.

She didn't exactly believe the rumours, in fact... she thought it was a little ridiculous to be honest but it did seem fitting... "I don't think asking the prefect to get us drinks would be a good idea..." she said with a grin. "Besides, they're only over there..." She pointed at the table with the food and drinks on it. And then he was putting his arm around her so she leaned into him and smiled a bit. A drink..? Hmm... "No thanks..." She was way too comfortable.

When Minnie mentioned that the girl named Elliot being a wicked witch of the west, Belle giggled at the reference. "Well i do not know her very well but i will take your word for it."

When Minnie mentioned on saying she had a crush on him, Belle smiled too. "Well i do not have a huge crush on him. It is a little one." Belle winked at her. Belle could feel that Minnie was irritated just by Elliot's presence. "Yeah i do not think he will come over here." she whispered. "Elliot looks like she had got him wrapped around her little sticky fingers."

Belle looked down at her plate and wondered what she wanted. "I think i want some Pizza too! It looks pretty good!" Belle said to the plate and pizza appeared. Belle devoured the pizza in about three seconds. She never realized how hungry she was.

"Well you know, you might be expecting a gift from me this year." Belle said after she chewed her pizza and swallowed it. "I am sure my gift will make you feel at home this christmas."

"Oh, thank you, Miss Lecium. And you are looking particularly lovely tonight." Medea smiled as she turned a little to the Hufflepuff Prefect. "Of course! I am. These events are never a disappointment. You all haff done a splendid job."

"Miss Wheatborn, thank you, and you as vell." she smiled warmly with a nod to the Hufflepuff. The comfortable look. The girl's boots were almost making her miss her own already. "Oh, I vill haff to try it later on then. I believe I've taken to the eggnog for now. Are you having a good time?"

Looking across the table, her gaze settled on the student who called her name. "Thank you, Miss Dawnsel. You are looking lovely tonight as vell." From what she could see anyhow. Everyone here did. Chuckling softly, Medea picked up her eggnog drink and raised it a little. "I vill toast to that. They did create a magnificent event, didn't they?"

Spotting the sketch pad, the professor placed down her glass. "Are you capturing the moment?"

Oh dear...

Umm... "Almost." she nodded, reaching over to pick up a napkin for Daichi to use instead. This frosting was particularly sticky it seemed. Just as the grabbed one, she glanced to the Slytherin boy. Did she hear right? Just who was mean?

Looking to where his gaze was pointed, Medea frowned a little and handed the fifth year the napkin. "The headmistress?"

Damon walked in and sat down quietly, It's always changing here isn't it?" He gave a small smile as he took a seat. He was going to miss it, seeing how he probably wouldn't be here next year. He sighed, even he had to admit that the room was... Quaint at least, looked like a place that more of a girl would go to him, but oh well.

Minerva smiled as Belle got her reference to the wicked witch of the west and giggled a little at her next comment, "Yes, unfortunately for some reason, some people can't see the real Elliot. She hates puffs, so there isn't a puff that can't see her true colors." She glared at Elliot and then Belle's words really hit her, wrapped around her finger, a small frown crossed her face. She hoped that wasn't true, or she might not ever get to be near Ethan alone. Trying to push the thought away she focused on something else.

Minerva started eating the food on her plate, "this is really good. I might have to go back up for me." she was never a girl who cared what she ate or had to make a big deal out of watching her calories or anything. As long as it was good she would eat it. "How is your food Belle?"

Minerva looked shocked at Belle, "Awww that's sweet, but you really don't have to get me anything. It so nice of you to think of me though. I'm really glad we got to know each other these few years. I hate that your a seventh year this year." she frowned thinking of that.


Minerva smiled at the professor, "Thank you professor, I don't feel like it's very festive being gray and black." she shrugged, her mood was not of festive one before she came, now she was feeling a bit more Christmas like and wished she would have done better at dressing for the event. "Well I hope the eggnog is good, I have never tried it. The sound makes me not think I will like it." she figured sticking with her hot chocolate was the best thing to do. "Oh I'm having a wonderful time, thank you for asking."

He saw the grey kitty paw her way towards them then settled on his lap, and he reaches out and gently scratches that nook behind her ears "Hey there little one..." he murmured as he listened to Louisa and Beezus talk about the last Quidditch match and the next one, looking up at Beezus when the next match would be against the Snakes. Dylan was Captain of the Snakes. "That.... would be an interesting match wouldnt it?" he added to the convo out loud, although he gave Beezus a particularly thoughtful gaze. She should know he wasnt really referring to the game play right?

But that piercing blue gaze quickly shifted back to Louisa when she said something about jobs and funding issues for her studies "But what about your dad?" The one she met at the Leaky? Yes he did remember what she said about not having the man meddle with her life but this was her Uni studies. To Vickers nothing else can be more important in the immediate future than to be able to get into a proper University doing coursework that she wanted. Money matters makes things incredibly complicated and worrisome.

He paused for a moment when she asked about his University plans "Well, I'm still trying to narrow down my options...." he stated a bit guiltily "...I mean its easier for me to figure what I dont want to do or the things I'm no good at, but when I've taken those out I'm still stuck with several options...." Which is whats making things difficult for him. The downside to excelling in every subject, now that he needs to specialize, he doesnt know where to start. "Uncle Corin sent me an application packet for Salem University, I've filled it up halfway but.... well I kind of want to apply to other Universities too.... the ones outside the US." Which will keep him AWAY from home, as he was intending.

He reached out for his blue drink in the martini glass and took a sip. Brows goes up when he realized it tastes much like chocolate despite the color. He takes another eager sip when Beezus said the M word---

*cough!choke!cough!wheeeeeze!cough!gah!cough!!!*

Hastily he set the glass back down on the table and nearly toppled it over. His eyes shot quickly to meet Louisa's before tearing them away to look shiftily at the younger Claw "Uhm.....w-I uh..... " What was he supposed to say? He's really fallen hard for Louisa but to say anything short of a denial would make his dedication to her seem suspect. But to agree about such proposals would make him appear foolish and hasty..... or worse, some kind of Neanderthal that expect nothing of women but to cook, keep house and bear children.

He cleared his throat and took the few second to clear his head as well "Well.... you'll never know what the future might bring Beezus...." he quipped as he glanced nervously at Louisa for a split second. She wasnt going to kill him for that now was she? He cant even decide on what coursework he'll be taking a couple of years from now, surely she couldn't have expected him to decide about tying the knot and all that terrifyingly fun stuff right?

Daichi nodded his flushed cheeked head as the Professor gave him a napkin. He wiped his cheek now properly clean and held the frosting napkin in his hand. He searched for a place to throw it away yet couldn't find one so quickly and decided to hold on to it.

There was no point in denying that he had just said something right? So with a rather loud sigh and big pout he nodded his head yes. "I just went to see her, you know introduce myself and all and being nice..i even called her pretty cause she is!"

oookaay..why'd he said that? He really needed to THINK before he spoke. "But then i showed her Mr.Duckles..." he opened up his bag and took out the stuffed duck animal to show her who he was talking about. "And when i said it was my best friend, she...she..she slapped it and took away five points!" Of course he was letting out the detail that he had actually talked back to the Headmistress but yeah....heh. "And then she totally freaked out about that brooch of hers and snapped at me again!"

"So i think she's mean" another pout and he held his arms over each other to prove his point. "I'm not getting in trouble right? i don't want to lose more points" he added with a mumble before he quickly added a "Professor" at the end of the sentence.

Anyways... "Professor? what do you think of the new Headmistress?" He was curious how the staff was looking at the woman.

Belle smiled as she thanked her. "Ah thank you very much Professor." Belle blushed and looked at her red lace dress, she admired this dress very much.
When she complimented on their work, she smiled and said, "Yeah it is my first year being prefect and i am loving it." Belle was curious if the professor tried the foods yet. "Have you tried any of the foods professor?"

Belle dropped the topic of Ethan for a bit, she knew it made Minnie uncomfortable.

"Oh my god my food is amazing. I think i will go with you to get some more." she smiled and got up out of her seat. Belle did not care what people thought. She exercised when needed so she will work off her calories.

When Minnie mentioned that is was her seventh year. Belle giggled and corrected her, "I am in my sixth year, i will be back next year, but next year is my last year sadly. I really do not know where the time went. I feel like time fast forward itself. Like it is already christmas already?"

Minerva giggled, "Yes this food is great." She walked over to the table with Belle and filled her plate again. Hmm what else did she want to try. Placing pretty much one of everything. Then headed back to the table. Sitting down, "So how had your term been going?" she thought about everything that had been going on in her life this term. It would be nice to hear about someone else.

Minerva blushed, "Oh I'm.. sorry, why did I think you were a seventh this year." getting a big smile on her face, "Well I'm glad I get to keep you another year." She hugged her friend. "I know I can't believe I'm in my fourth year already. It just seems to be going so fast. Next years OWL's already scare me." she sighed, "I feel like I should be studying for them already."

Belle smiled at Minnie and said, "My term has been going good actually. I have been meeting many new people this term that is for sure. I am liking all the lessons this year. I especially like the Dream Potion Dr.Droo made us do. That was my favorite so far. Oh let's not forget the super heroes class too." Belle added with a little excited squeak. She knew people were looking at her and she blushed a little bit.

When Minnie blushed, Belle waved it off. "Oh do not worry, people think i look old for my age. I guess it comes with being the oldest of the family." Belle added with a little wink and giggle.

Belle hugged Minnie back and said, "Aww i am glad i can see you another year too! Oh do not worry about your OWL'S. I took them last year and they were easy once you know what your are doing. My advice is take notes in class and review them." Belle told Minnie. She wished she had that advice because she did not pay attention in class too much last year and wish she had.

On the topic of OWL'S...."Look Minnie i am nervous for my NEWT'S and i know they are harder than OWL'S. So i am freaking out. But i know i gotta keep a cool head and look at my notes is all." Belle said as she went over to get some more cocoa. She was quite cold. So a little pick me up would do just fine.

"Very tasty." That was really an understatement. She kind of wanted another one, but she didn't need one really and she didn't want to seem like a hog in front of Ethan. She watched as he tried the eggnog. Gross! Hannah didn't like the way it looked or smelled. She tried not to cringe while he took a sip. She gave him a smirk when she realized that he too didn't seem to be enjoying it. "Not as good right?" Well it wasn't good at all, but that was besides the point.

She gave him a half smile and took a seat next to him. Why was she nervous? This was so not Hannah. She followed his gaze to where the Headmistress had her throne set up and she actually had a line of people over there. "A bit ridiculous huh?" she asked while she tilted her head in the direction of the line. Hannah thought highly of herself sure, but the Headmistress was out of control if you asked her. Hannah actually laughed out loud at his next question. She gave him a full on genuine smile. "Oh you know the normal...rainbows and sunshine." She looked down at her hands. "Must mean happiness." she said while she made eye contact once more...smile still in place. "How about you...still planning on stomping on childrens hearts?" she said just as playfully.

Then they were interrupted. "Popular aren't you?" She was still being playful, but anybody could see that Ethan had many admirers. He was a charming guy so she couldn't really blame them.

Then there was Elliot. She didn't say anything at first. She watched as Ethan greeted her.







"Morganzo." Oh yeah she was totally getting the last name from her. She was starting to think that Elliot was following her. Her mind wandered to the conversation that she had with her about Ethan. She knew that she wanted Cora to be with him...she made that clear. She was just talking to him anyways. She knew that was why Elliot was here... she was making sure that her plans went the way that she wanted them to go but nobody told Hannah how she was going to do anything...not even her best friend.

"Things are just peachy." she said a bit sarcastically. "What about with you?" She tried hard to sound pleasant. She wasn't going to lose her cool. She wanted to know what Elliot had up her sleeve.

Minerva smiled at the classes, "Oh that dream potion was interesting and then there was the dream dictionary. I hate to say I would never see Lafay doing a lesson with someone, but it was so similar not have been planned, don't you think? "Minerva asked Belle, she had been wondering that. "Yes the superhero class was great, but I don't think the students that don't have a muggle background really got it, do you?" she knew some had complained about the class, but Minerva thought it was great.

"Well I don't know why I was thinking that. Oh well.. it happens I guess." she giggled a bit, maybe the sugar was starting to get to her. Speaking of sugar time to try the hot chocolate with fudge drink. "Be right back." she got up and filled her mug. It smelled wonderful. Heading back to Belle she glanced at the little "group" yes she was keeping a small eye on them, not trusting Elliot at all. Sitting down she sighed, "Oh I know I shouldn't worry, but I do. I have been keeping all my notes, so I'm glad that will help." Then she waved her hand like it was no big deal, "Oh Belle your Prefect for a reason. You will do fine in your NEWTS. Just relax and don't freak out." she gave some advice to her older friend.
