Resident Ghost of Ravenclaw | Intelligent & Evasive
The Grey Lady decided it was time to venture into the Great Hall and visit her most favorite little ones at the Ravenclaw Table. She flew and hovered over the tables slowly listening to a variety of different conversations glancing at the food and drinks spread out in various spots along the table.

"Not all of them," she shook her head, matter-of-factly. How did she know this? Well, it was the same for people. Not everyone liked or ate the same things. Logic. Oh, why, the girl was right about that, they ate icky things too, "That's right, though, it's not like she eats this every day, but she's been behaving great, so I treat her." From time to time. "Do you have a pet?" she asked, blue eyes on the girl as the pink puff ball took mini-bites of the blueberry muffin.
Lottie nodded in a matter which indicated 'Apology accepted'. Nothing further was said on the matter. But her eyes landed on the peace-offering cupcake and she took it with her hand, "I've never tried chocolate with her...," for one, Lottie wasn't one to eat much chocolate, really. It was a rare occasion when she did so. She didn't like it much, see? But...Mags, well, the puff stopped biting the muffin and just stood there, as if waiting for something.
She finally saw something interested and hurried towards an odd little creature being held between two students. She hovered for a minute as the girls talked about the pet and then she finally interrupted, "What exactly is that little creature and what is it doing at the Ravenclaw table?" the ghost asked sweetly....almost too sweetly.

Okay. How exactly did pygmy puffs behave "great"? Louisa couldn't help but grin at that. "She has? Well, you're such an awfully generous owner to treat her like that." Nodnod. She almost didn't believe the girl, that this pygmy wanted to eat a muffin, but as if on cue the little creature approached one of the pastries. The Ravenclaw raised her eyebrow in awe, "Wow. What's her name again?" Funny that she remembered to ask about the creature's name and not the girl. Heh.
Did Louisa have pets? "Yes. I have two cats; Viola and Cuddles." She grabbed a cupcake and started nibbling on, sitting here was much more relaxing than working on a project. Heh. "I don't remember to treat them, though. I should think of that... maybe they'll obey me then. Well, Viola in particular since she's the stubborn one." Cuddles just wanted to cuddle. Geddit? Heh heh. Before she could say another thing, The Grey Lady joined the two of them. Louisa smiled at the familiar ghost and looked at the Hufflepuff girl expectantly. Come on, go one, the ghost was talking to her.
She wasn't one of those kids who were still unfamiliar with Hogwarts ghosts, was she?
Jayden sighed, flipping her hair behind her shoulders impatiently. Why was she always the first one to be at the table when she asked her friends to meet there?
"Ugh, people these daaaaaays..." She grumbled, groaning when her stomach let out a moan of protest.
And why was she so hungry? Ugh. She needed to start eating better.

Errr...Elliot was like, a minute early. Which was late...because Elliot prided herself on always being extremely early.
Certainly Jayden would comment on this. Ugh. She sat down across her friend, and sighed. "Sorry. I was busy..." yeah. Busy hanging out with MAXWELL. Who she HAD to tell Jayden about...ASAP!

"It's okay," Jayden replied, smiling warmly at Elliot. Ever since she and Jard had gotten together she had been so much happier. "Merlin. So why were you late?" She asked, raising a brow.

Smiley, happy Jayden...well, at least Elliot was in a pleasant enough mood as well to not really care. She grabbed a bowl of assorted fruit, what she always ate for breakfast, and slid it in front of her..."I don't like purple grapes...you want mine?" she asked, crinkling her nose...she began to pick out all the purple grapes and place them on her napkin. Ew.
The green ones were ...more sour. Better.
Hmm..Elliot tried her best not to seem flushed or anything.."Uh...just, you know, hanging. Out...with...people." Real smooth, Morganzo.

"Erm... sure. I'll take a few." She replied, smiling as she popped two small ones into her mouth. "Mmmmmm...." Breakfast in the morning was one of Jayden's favorite things about her time at Hogwarts, especially since her mother failed at home cooked meals, even with magic. "Who were you hanging out with?" She asked curiously as she leaned forward to snag a piece of toast and a slightly over-cooked poached egg.
Yummy.
"And have you seen Jared? I've been looking for him all morning..."

Way to look clingy, Jayden.
Good, because Elliot did NOT want them...and who was she hanging out with...uuuhh....Elliot decided not to lie. For once. WHat would be the point? And anyways, Jayden was her friend...and deserved to know...about Maxwell. "Maxwell Lupin..." as if she might know him...she might....who knew.
Er..."No. I actually haven't seen him around in awhile..." she hadn't seen the slytherin at all since the feast...different houses, different years...that was probably the reason.

It was past noon and Milton was starving. He had just been too lazy to walk all the way down the seven flights of stairs to get to the Great Hall. But when his stomach was finally about to eat itself, he managed to peel himself off the couch and head downstairs.
As he entered the large room, Milton adjusted his Ravenclaw scarf and headed for his table. It seemed colder down here than up in the towers. He settled himself down and his eyes searched the food on the table. Hmmmm... Mashed potatoes? Yes. Chicken? Of course. Broccoli? Ew, no. Garlic bread, definitely yes. And that was a good start.
Arms flapping, Tinka burst into the Great Hall. "Missus Headmistress want elvsies find her broochie! Tinka look everywhere for broochie!" She began scanning the floor, even picking up stray pieces of parchment or benches. Eventually she made her way to the Ravenclaw House Table. Elfsy ears twitched periodically like a radar scanner. "Did a wee studentsie take you, broochie? Maybe a wee Eagle? That be bad, bad, bad! Elvsies find you!"
Tinka's arms began to flap in her distress. "Broooooochie! Where aaaaaaare youuuuu?"

Indiana smiled to herself as she wandered into the great hall. She was hungry, so was heading to eat some dinner. It was kind of cold in the castle now, so she was looking forward to having some yummy soup. Hopefully they would have some tomato today, because that was Indiana's favorite. She walked slowly down to the ravenclaw table, knowing it was the best table there. Of course it was.
Looking up, she saw that Milton was there and decided to join him. Before she talked to had a little look at what he was having. "No veggies Milton?" She inquired with a little grin as she sat down opposite him.

Milton was sitting there with his food, minding his own business when that blasted little house elf came running along, screaming about some 'broochie'. Whatever that meant. But it was ANNOYING.
"Oi! Keep it down over there, will ya?" He was trying to eat in peace, thank you very much.

Now that THAT was taken care of... After taking a bite of mashed potatoes, Milton looked up to see the familiar Indiana. He sat up a little straighter at almost laughed. "I've got mashed potatoes, that's good enough." Even though vegetables didn't do much good when they were swimming in butter and cheese. Oh well.
"Hungry?" he asked, pushing the dish of potatoes her way. Part of him wondered if she was going to yell at him for not putting her on the team, but he certainly hoped not.

Indiana raised an eyebrow, although she did laugh. "They are carbs not veggies." She countered with a little grin. Indy wasn't that bothered by what she ate really. Anything that was good she would have it. Right now though, she was really feeling some soup. Maybe some stew too. She was very hungry after all. She pulled her plate closer, inspecting the food that was around. Hmm. What to have.
"Very..." She mused, staring at the potatoes for a few moments. Hmm. Not them. "Not for those though..." She laughed, before grabbing a bowl, and spooning some vegetable soup into it.

Pff. "Potatoes are veggies. They grow in the ground, don't they?" And obviously, everything that grew in the ground was a vegetable. Obviously. Besides, it's not like he really cared what he ate. If it was good, it would get devoured.
Milton scoffed a little bit and scooted the potatoes back over to him. "A little carbs never hurt anybody. You're missing out," he teased with a wink before scooping up another bite. Milton gave a satisfied sigh and decided to change the subject. A little small-talk never hurt anyone, either and Hutchinson seemed like a normal enough girl. "So. Got any plans for the holidays?" Because they were only a month away.

Broochie be under here? She picked up a studentsie's foot. No broochie here! And that was when she heard the yelling. "Oh no, Tinka sorry, sir! Tinka just have to find Missus Truebridge's brooch! She tell elvsies to find it! Has sir seen the broochie? It be big and green!" she nodded avidly.

"As do flowers but they aren't vegetables." Indy countered with a little smirk. She knew she was right. Because well she was awesome. Her features did soften into a smile though. "You should try some corn. It's yummy." She decided, nodding to a big bowl of it that was a little further up the table. She could eat a whole bowl of corn to herself she used it that much.
"I know. I just feel like soup." She shrugged, dipping some crusty bread into it and taking a bite. She loved crusty bread. Ooh. Holidays. "Just home really..." She shrugged with a smile. She loved christmas. "Probably go cut the christmas tree down, buy something for Spike." Because she really had no idea what to get him. Spike was hard to buy for. Maybe she'd have a little think about it. "And yourself?"

Whaaaat was that elf doing picking up his foot! "Hey!" he warned, with a wiggle of his foot, dangerously close to the elf's head. Nobody touched Milton without his permission. Nope. "No, I haven't seen any brooch," he said with an attitude, waving his hand. He was trying to eeeaaat here.

Well, she HAD a point, yes. But being the stupid stubborn Ravenclaw that he was, he wasn't about to back down. "And flowers have leaves. Like.. lettuce." And that made them vegetables. Duh. Milton eyed the corn that Indiana was nodding at. "Fine," he said and scooped some onto his plate. Then he dumped some salt on it, probably ruining all nutrients that the corn had. Oh well.
Milton shrugged again and took a bite of his corn. It wasn't BAD, but it was still vegetables. He raised his eyebrow and swallowed his bite of corn. "You cut down your own Christmas tree?" That seemed weird to him. But now that he thought about it, he didn't know where his tree came from. Someone had to chop it down, but he didn't know who. Hm. "I'll be at my house for Christmas. And then I'll probably go to Dublin to see my dad." Nothing too exciting.

Tinka crouched into a ball as the studentsie sent a kick in her direction. Peering out through her tiny elfsy fingers, she wailed, "Tinka so sorry, so sorry!" She just had to look EVERYWHERE. Headmissus say look EVERYWHERE!"No broochie? Tinka look somewhere else then, sir. Tinka sorry to be bother you."
Elise dropped a scone onto her plate and nibbled at it a little. Chewing on her raisin thoughtfully, she mentally calculated the time it'd take for her to get to the Room of Requirement and get in a few minutes of practice. Far too long. She had Charms to get to in less than half-an-hour.
Looking up, she blushed. "Sorry, Gwen," she said, sheepishly. "I'm really horrible with names." She'd just proved it there, hadn't she? Bah.
She'd probably never get it right.
Glenn?!
Psh. At least it started with the same letter. Trying not to roll her eyes at the other girl, Gwendolyn took another sip from her tea and then gave a quick look around, willing to check if her bestie wasn’t at one of the tables. Since there was no sign her, the fifth year drew her attention back at the people sitting at the Ravenclaw house table. Apparently, the Grey Lady was there too.
But then she heard Elise say something, so Gwendolyn glimpsed back at her housemate. She was horrible with names? Well, so it seems, she wanted to reply, but eventually didn’t. ‘It’s alright’, the fifth year said simply and then took another sip from her tea. ‘You are umm...’ Come on. She knew the name.. ‘Elise, right?’
Taylor plopped down at the Ravenclaw table. She was in sweats again which showed how upset she was. Tay havent any make-up on and her nails werent painted. Taylor hadnt seen anyone recently since she tried to stay hold up in her common room, trying to sort her feelings out and trying to decide whether to transfer or not.
Maxwell passed by the Ravenclaw table on the way to his own. He noticed his sister looking well, like a less done up version of herself he sat down next to her. "What's wrong?" Nothing else no hello...he was concerned and it showed.

Taylor glanced up at her brother, "Hello to you too." She pouted a cup of pumpkin juice and took a sip of it. "I am actually feeling better than before... I am just confused and I didnt feel like trying to look pretty since what is the point of trying to look pretty?" Tay glanced at him and sighed.

Maxwell smirked. "Sorry, Hi..I just wanna know what's wrong?" He asked and grabbed a cup as well. "This about Damon?" he asked and cracked his knuckles as if he were about to go find Damon right then.

Tay gave a half smile at the hi part then sighed and frowned again. "No, just all boys..." Taylor sipped at her juice, "I am done trying to look pretty. I dont want to date so why try to be pretty?" She shrugged and pushed her curls off her shoulders.

Maxwell frowned and gave her a hug. "Than forget boys! you don't need them, If they can't see you for what you are than ignore them for now...Maybe forget Dating, have friends and not boyfriends..." He said hoping his words might help.
