One minute Nate was playing his guitar in the common room, the next he got thrown out by some unknown force (most likely Peeves). He put down his guitar, and then ran up to the barrels. He kicked on the first one in sight as hard as he possibly could (which was pretty hard). No matter how hard he would kick it wouldn't budge. Dammit! This will make a bad impression on my cousin!!!! He just really needed to get in.

"Guys should one of us go to the Divination Professor, and someone else go to the Headmaster? Maybe they'll know what's going on here, or better yet how to fix it.

Oh. Did this Puffer notice Kat? Well, at least this one had good enough eye sight to see such an awesome girl... besides Ariana. Minnie, her name she said. Kat hoped it was a nickname, cause if that was her real name.... MERLIN. Who names their children Minnie? Maybe her real name was Mina, or something. Jasmine? Anything fancy, it should be to make this Puffer look and seem... better. "Hey, I'm Katrina," the Slytherin smirked. "But I would prefer you to call me Kat."

Yes, Rush was an exception to calling her Katrina because that dude could do anything but call someone by their nickname.

Yes, Laura should definitely stick with them. Without a moments hesitation, Ed turned on his heel and followed the transfiguration professor down the entrance of the common room. He'd got a little ahead of the other two in his haste to prove it to her. He gestured to the crowd of Puffs and looked at the woman seriously. "See?"

Isabelle had rushed as fast as she dare down the staircases towards the kitchen level, actually trying to keep up with Edmund. She was very aware of the fact Laura was possibly going a bit slow, but she did need to get there as fast as possible. Her robes flapped around her as she came to a sudden stop and surveyed the scene. So many Badgers stood around, or on the floor. This was very strange. "Yes, I see," she mumbled in reply to Edmund.

"Is anyone hurt?" she called out, making her presence known, before walking further along the corridor and examining their faces curiously. They looked more confused and angry than anything, and if what she'd been told was actually true, they had a right to be. Thrown out of their own common room. The cheek of it.

Bending down, Isabelle ran a hand over the barrels. "So you've all tried to get in, have you? And nothing has worked?" Curious.

Laura had struggled to keep up with Ed and the Professor, she was only small and they hadn't thought about that when they had raced off, she finally got there as the Professor spoke. "Yeah I tried loads before I came to get Professor Hadley." Laura looked at the Professor. "Though if you want to try you can Professor." Laura would love to see what the Professor would do.

"I've tried my best to get back in Professor by kicking at the barrels, hoping that it would open. Unfortunately it didn't work. All it did was make skid marks on the barrels." Nate said to the Transfiguration Professor. It was true. He DID kick at the barrels as hard as he could, and all it did do was leave skid marks. The barrels were there to prove it.

Nate glanced over at the barrels, then back at the Professor. "Do you have any idea what's going on Professor?" Nate asked.

Ariana hugged her friend back "hey min. everything ok?" cause she had to make sure her best friend was okay.. she eyed her housemates.. she didnt care Minnie was still her best friend and she'd take down the whole lot of them.. even the ickle first years! Ok, maybeee not but still... Ah yes intro's .."Kat this is Minerva.. or Min or Minnie.. and Min the is Katrina..or kat. Kat's on the team." and well Min was her best friend DUH KAT.. heh anyway "Continue what out here!?" o.0 What were these Hufflepuff's doing!? quite awkward if you ask me... Truth or dare!? *GULP* Ariana looked around minnie and saw damon.............. ugh no thanks BYE! "truth or dare... why on earth would you want to be playing that game Minerva?"

When Ariana introduced Minerva, which is a waaaaay better name than Minnie, to Kat, the Slytherin nodded at the Puffer. Kat's on the team. Yeah that's right. She was in the Slytherin Quidditch Team. Beat thaaaaaaaat. Hehe.

Truth or dare? NO. Kat's gonna have to pass. That game was kinda stupid, in her opinion. And annoying. Don't forget annoying.

Mhmm. She saw for herself now. He'd been proven right by batwoman Magnus seeing it for herself. Following her to the barrels, he nodded. "There's nothing we could do but try the usual way." Alohomora wouldn't work on the barrels, seeing as they were magically charmed, right? He threw Laura a smile when she practically gave Magnus permission to try. And yet another idiot had kicked the barrels. Yes, he thought kicking the barrels was stupid. "Is your foot okay?" He asked the young boy, wondering if he'd hurt himself like Laura.

Minerva smiled at the girl, "Well it's nice to meet you Kat." she looked around the room and back at the girls, "Were you guys kicked out of your room as well?" This was odd, if they were kicked out to did that mean everyone was kicked out? She hoped Laura and Ed would be back soon with a professor, so they could get to the bottom of what was going on.

Hugging Ariana she laughed a bit, "I think we are all fine. Just a little confused and sore from the fall. It was just so sudden and weird." Following Ariana's gaze Minerva frowned, crap.. Damon.. not awkward at all, right? "Oh we were just having a little badger party/sleepover in the common room when we were thrown out, so to try and keep everyone clam and to not ruin our fun, I thought playing the game might be fun." Ariana knew Min was a planner so she figured it wouldn't be a big surprise.



Minerva looked at Nate and wondered if the boy didn't have a clue what had been happening around him. Were her badgers more confused then she thought. She hoped there weren't more injured then they were saying. "Nate... Laura and Ed went to get a professor, they should be back shortly. Your not hurt are you?"

She turned back and smiled, Ed and Professor Magnus were on their way and Laura was following behind. Well that was good a professor. "Thank you Ed and Laura." She quickly said, it was time to get to the bottom of this. "Professor I tried an opening spell and that wouldn't work either. Nothing seems to be working. It was so weird, we were having a badger gathering in the common room and the next moment we were being thrown out. We aren't the only ones either. Ariana Logan and her friend Kat were here and said that Slytherin was locked out of theirs as well. Do you have any clue what is going on?" She looked at the Professor hoping they would know at least. She then added, "It doesn't seem like any of us are hurt other then maybe Laura's foot, but most are just confused about what has happened."

She could try, could she? Thank you for the permission, Laura. Isabelle gave the girl and small smile and nod of the head. "I will, yes." She might be able to do something.

Isabelle was still bent down looking at the barrel when Nate spoke. Yes, she could see a few scuff marks where feet had connected with wood. For all the good it had done, obviously. "Kicking it isn't really going to help, Mister Jones. It's charmed to open to a specific tapping, a good old wallop won't make a difference." In face he was lucky he hadn't been doused in vinegar.

"And I wish I knew, my dear. I wish I knew." Right that instant she was as confused as the rest of them.

"Mhmm," Isabelle muttered in reply to Edmund. He was right. Any other way and they might have hurt themselves or damaged the barrel, for which they would have been in a lot of trouble.

She continued to tap on the barrel, hoping it might work. It was worth another try.

"Wait, Slytherin too?" Isabelle stood up and put her hands on her hips. So if was the Huffies and the Snakes, there was a good chance that the other two common rooms were having the same problem. Which would make it a widespread thing and not simply a momentary malfunction on the Badgers behalf. "I'm glad there are no major injuries, or I would have sent for Healer Tillstorm. And, unfortunately, I can't say I have a clue."


But she was going to give something a go. If the barrel wouldn't open using an opening charm, or the usual tapping, or even kicking, then there was one thing Issy was going to try. And if it worked then she'd just have to have the cost of barrel replacements taken out of her wages. "Stand back children, I need some space for this and I don't want you getting hurt!"

Shrugging her shoulders, Isabelle loosened her neck muscles and flicked her wand out of her wrist holster. Rolling up her sleeves, she drew her arm back and pushed her hand forwards toward the barrel, sending a jet of light shooting out the end of her wand. A loud *BANG* echoed around the corridor as the spell simply bounced off of the barrel and hit a wall on the rebound, causing a slight crack to appear and a few shards of brick to fall off.

"Well now, that didn't work," Isabelle sighed, shaking her head again.

Laura looked at the Professor and then back at the crack in the wall. "Professor you damaged the wall." Laura couldn't believe it, she wanted to take the credit for it because seriously she could tell some great stories about how she destroyed a wall even if it was just a little crack she could pretend it was more than a crack. "Professor what would happen if we move a barrel by hand?" Laura was wondering if that would work.

Sophie appeared at the end of the corridor just in time to hear and see professor Magnus' powerful spell rebound and hit the wall, making brick shards fall off. She raised her eyebrows, impressed.

But before she could comment on the brilliancy of the spell, she noticed the amount of Hufflepuffs that were standing close to the barrels. Sophie frowned and rushed in their direction. "What's going on??" She asked to no one in particular when she reached the group.

Carigan looked at her frind Sophie. "One moment we were all in the common room and the next we were out here! We can't get into the common room, and apparently SLytherin can't either!" She explained.

Isabelle stood, tapping her wand on her chin and getting increasing irritated. This was ridiculous. A blasting spell should have at least made some indent in the barrel, even with the charms on them. But nothing. It was like something was blocking it. She cast a slight glance towards the damage her spell had done when Laura mentioned it. "Yes, dear, I know. But I'm fairly certain it'll survive a little crack."

Move the barrels. If only it was that easy. "The trouble with that Laura is you can't. The whole point of them is to conceal the entrance way to the common room. If they could just be moved there would be very little point in having them there. Never been done in a thousand years, as far as I know." Ohhh, if only they could. Isabelle looked at the girl and sighed. This was not nearly as easy as she was hoping it would be.

"Miss Tanner is correct," Isabelle replied, nodding to Sophie as she arrived to join the others. And it was the thought of the other common rooms being the same that had her a little worried. How on earth were they going to handle a mass lock out?

Bending down again, Issy started whispering and aiming her wand at the barrel, but all that happened was the light from the spells bounced off with little pinging noises. Something did not want to let her in.

Sophie tilted her head when Carigan explained to her what had happened and professor Magnus confirmed it. She looked at the barrels as the older witch tried casting some more spells at it and they all rebounded again.

"You mean like you were all teleported?" What? Sophie didn't know that was possible if you couldn't apparate. Besides... her father was always telling her people could not apparate around Hogwarts. That was weird... And the same had happened to the Slytherins? "Do you know if there's anyone locked in there??" Merlin, that would be scary! Being locked inside the Common Room all by yourself!

Minerva listened to both Professor Magnus and the other students. Looking at Sophie she tried to keep a calm smile, "By the looks of it everyone that was at the party is all right here. As for how we got out here, we were literally thrown out. Pick up in the air and tossed, not with magic. It was just strange.. Like some adult picked us up, but no one was actually picking us up." She looked around and a thought crossed her mind, "Professor, Peeves wouldn't have had a hand in this, do you think? Could he do something like throw everyone out of the common room that quickly?" She looked at the barrels again and then another thought crossed her mind. "Professor, should one of us maybe go up and check to see if the other two houses were locked out as well, or do you think it was just us and Slytherin?"

As Belle went to go enter the common room she saw the Transfiguration teacher, their house moderator trying to break into the common room. Now if the professor could not break through, what else can? This was going to be a problem...

Belle saw Minnie and asked her, "How is it going trying to get into the common room? Any luck yet?" Belle wanted to go enjoy the fire.

Then Belle saw a new Slytherin. Her name was Ariana from what she heard from the others. She did not know her well, only she had seen her previous lessons once before. Belle made her way to approach her. "Hi i am Belle, i have seen you in my previous lessons and i never got a chance to introduce myself."

Ariana looked over at Min then back at Kat... "a gathering.. right." min always was one for planning 'dont you think their are bigger problems right now Minerva?".. DO YA! like.. MY WAND BEING MISSING! cause honestly no one cared about the puffs having a party or whatever... ugh Puffs. min was lucky she was her best friend, and that she'd do anything for her

then she was approached by yet ANOTHER person. rolling her eyes she turned on her heels to face the girl. "May I help YOU." she said to the girl who was being quite RUDE by interrupting! she Looked beside her to Kat then back to this belle girl.. Did kat know her? maybe she did. though kat and Ariana had the same friends.. hmmm

Belle raised her eyebrows. Belle admit she was quite rude but it meant to have no attitude over it. Belle wanted to say something rude back but held it back. Then she couldn't anymore.

"Well actually i was being polite and not being a stranger and introducing myself, i am friends with Minnie might i add." Belle said coldly to her and pointed at Minnie. "I was curious about what was going on with the common, sorry for asking." Belle returned the rudeness back to her, give her a taste of her own medicine. Belle faced girls like this before and she was not afraid to stand her ground.

Minerva glared at Ariana.. Ari might be one of her best friends, but she was not going to be rude to her house friends. She was sick of people being rude about her house. There was no difference between people and the houses. It was beyond stupid to act like someone was worth less to be in a certain house and she wasn't going to stand for it. "Ariana this is my good friend Belle. As for the gathering, I worked very hard the last few weeks planning it and it was going on before we were kicked out. I was only using the game to help keep some of the younger students calm until we figured out what was actually going on." Minerva felt mad and upset with her best friend. There was no reason for being mean and rude right now. Everyone was homeless at the moment and no one needed to be jerks.

She looked at minnie and smiled "you always were a good party planer Min." and if she wasnt in a rush to get back to her common room so she could break in and get her wand she'd totally stay behind an play i mean.. damon WAS there.. but so was Kat.. this could get awkward

Ohh the Hufflepuff Prefect wanted to play.. oh and Look who was that.. a Professor.. wasn't she a prefect!? the teacher looked over to the professor then back to the "prefect" " No Need To Be Rude To Me Miss Prefect!" Ariana said loudly but not rudely so that the professor nearby could hear yet pathetically so she sounded upset. "Just because I'm not a hufflepuff doesn't mean you can be mean and disrespectful to me." Come on kat back me up. she was being a RUDE prefect wasnt she? Oh and a slight tear fall. perfect

Minerva just smiled, "Well of course I'm a good planner, someone in our group has to be." She teased her friend, "I just hope they figure out whats going on soon. I wouldn't be surprised if Peeves was involved some how."Not that she was actually accusing anyone, but would it really be that big of a surprise if he was..

She then listened to Ariana with Belle, was she really trying to get Belle in trouble for no reason. Crossing her arms she glared at Ariana, so that she knew shew as upset with her. She had enough, she was throwing in the towel for the evening when it came to people being stupid and just trying to cause trouble. She knew her friend was a slytherin, but to act like a complete snake was just..it was to low even for Ariana Logan. Minerva turned without saying another word to Ariana and went across the area and sat down looking away from her friend.

Belle rolled her eyes and crossed her arms at the slytherin called Ariana. She was trying to get her into trouble. Might she add that she was always on good terms with the professors. She did her work and was always respectful to the adults.

Belle returned her comment. "Well just because i'm not a slytherin does not mean you have to be rude and disrespectful to me. Someone should teach you your place. Even if i have to speak to the Slytherin Prefect." Belle said coldly. Belle could then see a tear falling from her cheek. She might of touched a nerve. "Look i really do not wanna cause trouble and you to cry. So why don't you leave and just go back to your common room?"



Belle smiled at Minnie. She was glad she saw the evil side even to a slytherin. Belle just stood her ground and was just keeping things out of control. Minnie was a great planner. Minnie did a great job planning the events, even the gathering was fantastic.
Belle whispered behind her back, "Thanks Minnie, i owe you so much. You are truly one of my closet bestest friends." Belle meant that sincerely. She really loved her like a sister.

Laura looked at Professor Magnus, so her idea wasn't a good one, well that was okay, she had only been trying to help but if Professor know-it-all Magnus didn't want any help then Laura would watch which she did for a bit, but no matter what the Professor did they still couldn't get into the common room.

"Don't Panic Professor Magnus, Don't Panic." Seriously this was all strange and she giggled as she thought of a saying someone had once said to her, "Were doomed, doomed I tell you" Well she wasn't going to say that out aloud yet, but if things didn't improve soon she just might have too.

Laura suddenly had another idea. "Professor if you used a chainsaw would that help us get back into the common room." Laura smiled. "Don't people use it on wood when they are getting in the way?" Laura didn't know where they would find out of if it was allowed but it was an idea.
