On the right hand side of the kitchen corridor is a large stack of barrels, which may seem unimportant to most students but which are invaluable to the badgers of Hufflepuff. The entrance to the Hufflepuff Common Room is located just behind these barrels.

In order to reveal the entrance, one must tap the barrel two from the bottom, in the middle of the second row, in the rhythm of 'Helga Hufflepuff.' This will make the barrel's lid swing open, exposing a crawl-way that will lead to the common room. However, if either the rhythm of tapping is wrong or the wrong lid is tapped, the intruder will be doused in vinegar and barred access.

The entrance to the Hufflepuff common room is the only entrance which is repels intruders AND bars access to those who don't belong. If you are waiting on a friend from Hufflepuff, you can lean against one of these barrels and wait for them to appear. Don't try to sneak in, though; no one from another House has been in the Badger's common room in over 1,000 years!

So sorry, turns out the girl I like has the same feelings," He didn't return the glare, he wasn't arguing on this, "And that coming from you, what did you do the entire first month of school? Last I check, you weren't exactly the most caring person on the planet!"

"I told you to give me a few weeks!" Tay snarled, "It isnt like I asked you to wait months like you did to me." Taylor's face showed how his last statement hit her hard and she couldnt stop the small whimper. Her voice grew small and quiet, "I had a potion making me act like that and you knew that... you have no excuse..." She turned, her shoulders shaking.

"I never said you had to wait! I said that I could not date, I never said you couldn't go and date someone else while I went through what I did, so what gives you the right to tell me I'm horrible for this?" We are not going to be friends even. All that we are going to be is cousins by marriage. I despise you and I cant even stand to be here any more so I am going to just go." At that she turned and started to walk away.

Damon felt a stab at her words, but started to walking to where Ari was supposed to be waiting, but changed his mind going to find a place to calm himself down from the worry before going to meet up with her so she wouldn't be upset... Though now he was more scared then ever that when he went home next that he and his father would be getting kicked out of Scotland.

Jory smiled. he was happy to see Ari. "You were?'' he asked surprised and wondered why. "Great minds think alike,'' he thought. He was about to go look for her...somewhere and here she was also looking for him.

The badger was glad his friend suggested a walk. He would be rather uncomfortable admitting anything here with students around. "Sure,'' he replied, feeling more nervous now. He hope he wouldn't say anything stupid and make himself look foolish. "You have anywhere in mind?''

Damon leaned against the barrels, waiting for Taylor, little as he wants to... He just wanted to go back into the common room and mope just a little more.

Taylor walked up, coming from comforting Ariana. She was late since she didnt want to leave Ariana in that stage, of course. Tay felt bad for her friend but didnt know what to do. Taylor was so deep in thought she didnt notice that she completely walked past Damon.

Tay blinked, looked up and turned towards him. She walked up tio him and wrapped her arms around him, rubbing her back. "I heard what happened, Damon. I am sorry to hear it." Taylor truely did feel bad.

He sunk into her arms and wrapped his arms around her, "I don't know what to do Taylor. She didn't even really give me a chance to respond." He buried his head in her hair.

Taylor rocked him and rubbed his back, "She wants to explain, Damon, trust me. Go to her and ask her. Ariana is afraid that you wont listen to her." Tay wasnt that selfish to lie to him nor to try to keep them apart despite still loving Damon... no, their happiness is much more important than hers since hers would never be guaranteed but theirs might.

Damon sighed and looked at her, "When I tried to talk to her about it she ran in the other direction... She hates me." That was how it seemed anyways.

Tay shook her head, "No, she doesnt! She still loves you, Damon. Just speak to her and you will see it." She wanted to shake and smack common sense into Damon but she just rubbed his back.

Ariana walked past the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room after crying for Hours and hours on end she was going to go soak her head in ice cream and just die but She saw Damon with taylor and they were talking about her.. She tried to ignore them but her heart hurt so much an she just couldnt stand to see him looking so upset. ari had her hair up adn ark clothes on a hoodie three sized to big covering her up

Tay was going to respond when she saw Ariana, "Ariana, stop!" She let go of Damon and grabbed Ariana gently.

Damon looked at Ariana as Taylor pulled her close, very tempted to just do what he needed to to get into the common room, but he couldn't make himself move.

"You two talk!" Tay demanded a little and stepped back to give them privacy but didnt leave just in case one of them tries to escape. Why am I helping them and trying to get them back together? Taylor sighed at the thought but still stood strong about them needing to talk.

"tay I.." and then tay stepped away to the other side of the hall and she was left there standing inches away from him and wanting nothing more then to just fall in his arms and forgive her for being a stupid big giant jerk.

But who would forgive someone after that. She'd have a hard time doing so, so she much just be waisting her time.

she looked over at tay and then back to damon but then dropped her gaze back down to the floor. She didnt know what to say and just hoped that he would just hug her

Damon looked at Taylor for a moment as if she was mad. Ariana clearly didn't want to talk, why force her. He sighed and looked at Ari, seeing the worry in her eyes, "Ari, I... I'm not mad at you." He lightly laid a hand on her shoulder, not sure if he should hug her.

Ari kept her face to the ground and when he put his hand on her shoulder and said he wasnt mad and she instinctively just threw herself into his arms and just cried
