Perhaps she shouldn't have asked if the Headmistress had anything she wished to add. Taking a step toward the door, she stopped when she heard Alexa utter those words again about calling someone stupid. And then, oh, did Annie just seriously call a student stupid?!

Therefore, despite the Headmistress telling her that she can leave and as tempting as it was to leave the cold dungeons, her feet .... her legs .... felt stiff and bizarrely unable to move toward the exit.

"Enough!" Fina shouted, loudly, looking between the pair of them. "Enough!"

Her hazel eyes kept focus on them both, ensuring she had their full attention before she continued. "Would just listen to yourselves? Bickering like a pair of five year olds over who gets naptime near the window. Seriously. I don't know WHAT is going on, but I do know that NO ONE has a right to be called stupid." She gave a glare to both Alexa and then a steady glare to Annie as well. "I repeat. NO one deserves that. Do unto others as you'd want done unto you, right? And while you're in my present," nevermind the fact that technically Annie was her boss, but right now, well, ... "you will respect each other. You will respect your peers. You will respect those below you and above you. You will, Alexa Cambridge, be getting Miss Hyde a new wand. If I have to drag you to Ollivanders myself during your winter break. And you will never call another student or Professor stupid again. That goes for both of you." She crossed her arms and looked from Annie to Alexa, suddenly feeling both energized and drained.

Yeah, Anastasia was not going to be listening to Hadley. She was both older and wiser than the woman, and as much as she would later see the sense in her words, at the moment all she could see was RED. Sure, she probably shouldn't have called the girl stupid, and sure, she could maybe be called bickering, but she would NOT be TOLD WHAT TO DO by her inferiors.

Just the NERVE of THAT GIRL! Having the NERVE to call the HEADMISTRESS stupid!

"That is it," the redhead spoke loudly, coldly, turning on her heel in a flash and stalking to the door so that the only exit was blocked. "That is it. I will not tolerate this behavior in my school. Professor Hadley, I'll remind you to respect your superiors so long as you wish to keep your job. I have the highest authority in this school at the present and my word is FINAL." She whirled on the girl, her tone the temperature of dry ice.

"Alexa Cambridge, I will be taking 50 points from Gryffindor for your continued disrespect and refusal to cooperate with a professor's directions. You are hereby suspended from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry until the Board of Governors sees fit to review your case. You wand will be kept in school custody until your suspension becomes an expulsion, at which point it will be permanently snapped.

"You are to remain in this dungeon until a parent or guardian arrives at the school to escort you home with a letter containing the terms of your suspension. Professor Hadley, if you do not wish to supervise this girl in her dungeon, I will replace with a staff member who will."

And without waiting for questions, comments, concerns, or complaints, Anastasia Truebridge left the dungeon, the heavy door slamming shut behind her with a final condemning sound.

Blink. Blink. Blink.

She didn't know what to say. Was the Professor even allowed to yell at the Headmistress?

This. Woman. Was. Amazing.

She almost snickered at the comparison that she had made between them and five year olds but could tell this situation was quite serious so she held it in.

Hah. Exactly! So the Headmistress had no right to call her stupid--WHAT?! But...but she didn't want to get Laura a new wand. The girl didn't deserve it. Yet another thing she should have mentioned but knew better and so didn't. Instead she nodded meekly, hoping this meant the detention was coming to an end.

At the last part she sighed in her mind. If someone was stupid then you should have been allowed to tell them but if the Professor insisted then she would also agree to this. Besides, there couldn't have been that many stupid people here anyway so the chances of her running into any more was rather slim.

Alexa turned sharply when she heard the Headmistress shouting. Her blood ran cold after hearing all the headmistress had to say.

Suspended...? And her father would have to pick her up? Merlin it was like her muggle school all over again! No words crossed her lips as she stared up at the woman who seemed to be at her boiling point. At the moment she didn't know what was more terrifying...the fact that she would be suspended or the fact that there was a chance they would break her wand....her wand that she had fought so hard win back.

Now, not only would she not be leaving the dungeons any time soon, she had also cost her house 50 points. The 11 year old was at a loss for words. All she could do was watch the woman leave.
