Ella piled her arms with as many packages of gummy worms as she could carry and bounced down to the common room, sporting her comfiest, coziest clothing. She was pretty excited to spend time with her awesome housemates, not to mention the s'mores! S'MORES! BEAM. Who didn't like s'mores?!

Spotting the table with food and beverages, the third year walked over and deposited several bags of sweets down next to the chips, keeping one for herself. She couldn't exactly not carry some around with her, could she? What if she got hungry while waiting for s'mores?! That wouldn't be good!

Noting there weren't many people around yet, the third year plopped down by the fireplace and hummed along to the music that was playing.

Minerva was so excited. All the planning was finally coming together. As she came back down from the dorm she carried extra blankets and some pillows she had found so that there would be enough for everyone. She also had on top of the blankets a few board games for students to play.

She hoped the puffs would like this event and she really hoped that it would help bring their house some unity and spirit. Frowning as she came in there wasn't many there yet, but she was still hopeful that this could be a big success. Belle had movies, she had the games, Ella was bringing the gummy worms, plus everything that Professor Hadley had set up for them.

Placing the games down on a table Minerva turned, "Hey Ella, everything looks great." she smiled excited that they decided to bring it all together so that everyone would be with each other all night. Then she walked over and placed the blankets and pillows in the corner, "Think this is enough for the blanket fort?" She giggled.

Adeline walked into the common room and looked around. It looked really cool. She loved it and the music that was playing was alright to her ears.

She looked around and saw two other Hufflepuff's. One of them was Alec's friend. She remembered the face. But she didn't know the other one. Adeline held the huge bags of cotton candy she had bought.

She smiled and set the bags on one of the tables.

Ella smiled as she saw Min come into the common rooms, arms filled with things for the party. And she had lots of blankets for the fort! BEAM. Ella was especially excited about making that. Blanket forts were the best.

"Hi Minnie!" Grin. "It does, doesn't it?" Very Badger-y... which was awesome. She eyed the blankets and nodded enthusiastically, jumping up from her seat. "Yeah! That's plenty! I can't wait to work on the fort." Beam. Beam. Beam. "...And make S'mores. I'm already hungry." Giggle. What else was new?



Ella smiled as she saw another Hufflepuff come down, and this was a familiar one. The fourteen year old was sure this girl was in her year, though they hadn't spoken much. Giving her a small smile, Ella walked over and motioned to the cotton candy. "That was a really good idea." Grin. "I love cotton candy. I'm Ella, by the way."

Belle was all ready to go meet her fellow badgers. She even brought her stuffed animal Mikey to the party. She wanted something to cuddle with.

She noticed all the graham crackers and chocolate for smores. YUMMY! But she sat by the fire first to get all warm and toasty. She loved this time of year that is for sure.

Belle saw Minnie and Ella there. She loved these two girls. They always put events together and Belle always approved of their creative ideas.

Belle saw another girl that she did not know. Hmm...time to make new friends. Yeah? Belle addressed them all, "Hi girls! How are you doing this fine evening?"

Damon walked in. Min had demanded he came to... Well, whatever this was. He sighed and looked around then sat down in a corner and just waited patiently for for the thing to be over... He didn't want to be there... But he toughened it out, he didn't want to be there, rather up in his bed moping.

Belle noticed a look she knew all too well. She went over and ask the fellow 6th year what is wrong.

"Hey i am Belle Lecium." she smiled and held out her hand. "Look i know the look of not wanting to be here, but try it out, have a smore. It can't all be that bad." she said to try to encourage him to talk to the girls.

Damon stiffened slightly hearing a voice he didn't recognize, "Damon..." As always his voice cracked, he hated talking to new people, "And I think I'm fine thanks..." It wasn't rude or anything, just the quiet tone of someone nervous and sadness.

Minerva smiled at Ella, "I am just so excited. If this ends up not being enough blankets we could always start taking off the beds." she giggled, she was getting hyper, "I hope we have a good turn out. I have brought games down, we have the food, we have music, are we missing anything?" she wanted to make sure all the basis were covered. "Mmm S'mores sound great, we will have to start those soon." She looked at the drinks, Caffeine Free.. well that just wasn't going to do for her, but for now she would leave it.

Seeing more come in she smiled at the badger she didn't know, "Hello, I'm Minerva. How are you?" she looked around the room, "Thanks for bringing some candy and thanks for coming. I hope you have fun, we have plenty to do. We have food, S'more making, music to dance to, games to play, blankets to build a fort..." leaving out the study tables for now She hoped there was enough for everyone.

Then seeing another friend she smiled even bigger "BELLE" she said a little to loud and put her hand to her mouth and giggled, she was getting more hyper by the second. "Hey did you bring your movies down? I have some games over at the table. This is just going to be so much fun."

She then turned see a grumpy pants walking in, well this wasn't going to do. Skipping to Damon she smiled, "Leave the frowns at the door dude." she giggled, "Come on Damon this will be fun, you need to have fun. There is plenty of food, and cute girls..look." she pointed at the girls that were there, leaning she whispered, "Ones a sixth year" she winked and then pulled at him, "Hey girls, this is one of my closest friends Damon, Damon this is Ella.. Belle, and.. she still hadn't caught the newest girls name." Yes Damon you will have a good time I promise, Minerva thought.

Damon sighed, as he expected Min was trying to make him talk to even more people, "It's a pleasure to meet you all..." And low and behold I'm the only guy here... Thanks Min, this'll be just great... Not. He kept the thought to himself.

Belle greeted Damon saying, "Nice to meet you Damon." Belle knew he seemed uncomfortable but she did not press on it anymore. "Well let me say it is nice to meet another puff. How is your term going?" Belle asked, she wanted to try to get to know her fellow puffs. Why not make some small talk.

Damon sighed, "Not well, honestly..." He looked down. "What about yours?"

WWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Alec skidded into the common room, a BIG GRIN spread across his face. The common room looked so great, draped in yellow and black hangings. This was going to be AWESOME and he knew it! There was food and people got to meet each other and they could watch movies and it was all SUPER AWESOME.

Oh, and they got to do some homework together. As a house. That was cool too!

The fourteen year old GRINNED WIDELY at everyone who was already there. Minnie! Of course she was here! She was one of the main people who had set this up so... yeah, she had to be here! And Ells! ELLS WAS HERE! GRIN. And... Belle! The AWESOME Lady Prefect! GRIN. And... and... Adel! Who he hadn't seen in quite a while, actually. And... a random guy he didn't know yet. But he'll introduce himself! SOON!

Alec walked over towards the fireplace, where most of the people were. He was barefoot and, judging by what everyone else was wearing, his outfit was probably the most extravagant. But he couldn't NOT come to this meetup without his onesie! This was his favourite piece of night clothing and... well... IT WAS AWESOME. And this meetup was going to be awesome! So it all fitted, yeah? YEAH!

GRIN.

"Hey everyone!" he said, grinning at everyone there before flopping down on an armchair. This was cosy!

Sutton meandered around the Common Room in Perfect!Puff!Pride!Dress! looking over everything. Yes, it was perfect. Their little committee had done a GREAT job... with the help of the house elves and Professor Hadley, of course. She stood proud, smiling at everyone as they entered, waiting to see if anyone new would get into the spirit of the party and strike up a conversation. She was quite satisfied with the way the party was going so far.

Keepin' it classy, Badgers. Keepin' it classy.

Carigan had decided that the little meetup in the common room would be a good place to try and forget about her traumatizing dream. Her eyes were bloodshot and her cheeks red and puffy from the tears but she was ready to just get to having fun.

Jory was glad for an event like this. Get his mind off schoolwork for a bit. He looked around at the other students who were there already. They were all busy chatting. "Hey, guys,'' he called.

Just then the food got his attention. "Oh good,'' he thought. He didn't realise he was a hungry.

The Puffer made his way over to the table and some popcorn and soda. It was then he noticed the tale set up for anyone who wanted to do their homework. The only one he had outstanding was Herbology since he had completed both Potions and Runes already.

Violet eagerly made her way out of her dorm very anxious to attend tonight's festivities! She couldn't wait to see who was going to be there, and what was going to be taking place tonight! And there was only one way she would find out, was to go to the common room faster! Running in her uggs, which sort of slowed her down a little bit because she wasn't used to running in them for their slight lack of grip on the ground, that could prevent her from tripping. Normally, she would try to be careful, but she was just too anxious NOT to run, in fear that she might be missing out on a fun time!

But when she had arrived at the common room Violet stopped looking around with a bright smile. The common room had been changed up a little bit for this extravaganza and it looked absolutely wonderful! She felt like her smile couldn't get any bigger from the excitement building within her. To try and tame herself she let it out a little bit by slightly bursting out,"HELLO EVERYONE!" She waved at them at all eagerly, and at the same time her violet eyes began to scan around a little bit looking for people she knew.

No idea what was going, Bliss thought as she made her way to the Hufflepuff Common Room. All she'd been told she to come as quickly as possible. Knowing this would either be a disaster or an extremely fun time, she decided to come. She reached the Common Room and went inside, only to stop in her tracks.

"Wow," she whispered, looking around the room. There was streamers and balloons and just..wow. She blinked, slowly making her way into the room.

Lewis slowly made his way down to the Common Room from the dormitories, rubbing his eyes and face until it had a rather red hue to it. Not that he was aware of that. Nor was he aware of the fact that his hair was a complete mess and half of it was even still slightly wet from when he'd splashed water onto his face a couple of minutes earlier. Not that it had helped getting rid of the way his eyelids felt as if they were made out of lead.

To sum up he hadn't slept much last night, or the night before that, and was now trying his best to come up with ways to keep him awake for this little Badger get-together some of his housemates had come up with. And he really had to be present for obvious reasons. One he was their Prefect, and two he should probably start getting to know some of his fellow Hufflepuffs. Which included his Co-Prefect who he had only spotted briefly on the train and then sometimes across the corridor but had not actually talked to.

Did that make him a bad Prefect?

Not that he really wanted to think about that right now. To be honest he didn't really think about anything but he should probably at least look as if he was enjoying himself. So when he finally entered the Common Room he put on a small - slightly forced - smile as he allowed his eyes to wander around the room for a moment to take in the changes that had been made. If he had been any less tired he would have for sure been genuinely smiling at what the other Badgers had put together.

As it were though he soon found himself moving towards one of the couches, hoping that nobody had seen him enter and would want to talk to him. And why did some people think it was a great idea to yell that loudly? They were all within earshot so there was absolutely no need to shout. His eyes briefly flicked over to the noisy girl (Violet) but were too heavy to do anything apart from resting on her for a couple of seconds. Ah, there was the couch at last. Maybe he could just stay here for a while and try not to doze off.

Minerva looked around and smiled as more and more students started to come into the common room. This was going to be great. She hoped the Friar and Professor Hadley would show for at least a bit as well.

Looking around she knew most of the faces, but there were maybe a few that she wasn't sure of. Then a thought hit her. She smiled looked at Belle and Ella "Hey be right back" then took off up to the dorms.

A few minutes later she was back with a handful of things. Smiling big still hyper with excitement she cleared her throat to get every ones attentions. Yes she loved hosting things and planning things, and the party really couldn't be started until people were officially welcomed right..

Talking a bit louder then usual; "Good Evening fellow Badgers. If you don't know me yet, my name is Minerva Wheatborn and I am a fourth year. Anyway, a few of us got some ideas to help this house get back some school spirit as well as get to know each other. It is a great opportunity to come together and have some fun. We have food set up, so help yourself, there are items to make s'mores at the fire place, on that table there are games such as twister, mall madness, clue, and a few more." she smiled taking a breath, "I also thought we could get a game of charades or truth or dare going if you like. The music is on feel free to dance, we have some muggle movies that Belle can tell you about if you wish to put a movie on. I have brought down a few more items." setting down the basket, "I do have some craft things if you would like name tags or to do any art things. I have name tags, paper,crayons, and markers. So use as you wish and finally.. she pulled her wonderful badger costume off her shoulder."I did bring this down if anyone feels crazy enough to wear it. Oh and yes, there is a table for homework if you would like to take this opportunity to work together and do some studying. So have fun, enjoy, and Go Hufflefpuff."

She smiled a little red in the cheeks, hoping she didn't talk to much. Walking over to food table she grabbed a drink and a few snacks.

Laura looked around and saw people talking to each other, there was Ella, her cousin Bliss and her Bestie Ella, if only Sophie and Carigan was here then Laura would have been delighted but since they weren't she was still upset that they hadn't spend lots of time together, they were all busy, spending time actually working was hard work, why did people suggest you do it, that is what she wanted to know.

Harlan entered the common room, not entirely sure of what was supposed to be going on at this "Badger Meetup Extravaganza". It sounded a bit weird... But Harlan had already decided that weird was pretty much the norm at Hogwarts, so she shrugged and looked around to see the entire common room decorated in the house colours.

She grinned as she examined the common room, this NEVER ever would've happened at her muggle elementary school. Never. They thought parties weren't educational. Something.
But this could be super educational, somehow. House pride, right?

Sutton looked up as Minnie was welcoming everyone and smiled around encouragingly. Everyone still just seemed to be kind of standing around though. That was not going to fly. She spotted the Prefect... the one she HADN'T met before and hurried over to him. "Hi! I'm Sutton! Want to help me get this party started?" she asked with a big smile.

If someone didn't do something drastic, this party was going to die very quickly. And how did you get a party started?

Ya gotta gotta cut loose...

After Bliss had gotten over the initial shock of how completely amazing the common room looked, she decided to try and find people. She could see many people, people from her Quidditch team, Alec, Ella and Laura. They all looked preocupied, so Bliss thought she might as well get to know some moaaar people!

HARLAN!

She'd met Harlan at the opening feast and knew it would be nice to talk to her again. "Harlan," she called and waved at the older girl. In many ways Harlan was to Bliss, like the older sister she never had.
